   I am more interested in what Russia does not produce for essenti is al domestic needs.
   As far as I can tell all the resources are t here. Russian Central Bank and Atlanticist theives are holding Russia back.

     It needs to be understood that Russia was screwed big time (to use a technical term) after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. For 10 years or so, foreigners ran the place top to bottom: writing laws and textbooks, extracting resources for “fuck all” (to use another technical term), buying old state-owned companies for pittance, etc. etc. Many of those who were “seduced” by the western narrative are still controlling things, unfortunately, and the work to clean them up continues.

     It takes time to come back from that, and they are doing it. Slowly at first, faster and faster nowadays with Putler at the helm. Unlike the US of A, which has an awesome advertising machine and not much else (land of the Free and all that drivel), Russia doesn’t advertise it’s successes and western media continues with its’ Russia-bashing, so it takes some effort to get the facts. Which Scott has done and compiled all this for us.

     It is true Russian people do have a lot of economic hardships to overcome (wages, pensions etc.), but things ARE improving and will continue to do so. Which is more than you can honestly say about most western countries.

   At this point, I’d say only entirely decapitated russophobic snot munchers can say that Russia is not one of the most advanced countries in the world. On a totally different note, I think the very fact that Russia has access to some of the most nutritious foods in the world places her far above any other country that is poisoning its own populous with GMO garbage.

     @ Perimetr: The Keystone Kops Penta-debacle/NSA/CIA/Five Eyes/etc. is already drowning in raw data, a few more spy satellites won’t make the US “see’ anything beyond the fact it is already behind Russia’s real-world capabilities and quickly falling further behind. There’s a reason Russia and China have moved to mobile nuke ICBM launchers and many decoys… the US can spy all they want, which “launchers” are the real launchers?

     The US thought Russia wouldn’t notice that the “US National Reconnaissance Office” was a Dep’t of Defense subsidiary.

     The bean counters in Congress have stripped NASA to the bone, and have no intention of putting back any more funding than they have. It appears a big chunk of the NASA rocket engine money is being spent on a Saturn-V replacement (get to Mars in 40 days!!! ya, right), somewhere between $7billion to $35billion. So $1billion for a few dozen RD-180’s is a bargain.

     Besides the fact is the US and Musk have proven unable to reverse-engineer Russian RD-180 engine technology. Think F-35 for an honest assessment of current/future US engineering “exceptionalism”… exceptionally bad at any price.

     My oldest daughter is looking into attending university in Russia and while doing research she found a few universities dedicated to mathematics only. Here in North America we have barely math literate people that can almost understand their budgets (if they have any) and there, whole universities studying math! No wonder they produced so much! It is not only technical skills but when looking at the overall education, it covers a lot more material than what is covered in NA. Education is very much prized.

   Its always good to have objective information and data like this to counter the “gas station masquerading as a country” commentary mouthed by the likes of John McCain and drip-fed daily to the zombified American audience.

   The danger that we face is that the MSM has kept Western audiences on a steady diet of lies about Russia for years, to the point where they – the media practioners – have started to believe their own lies.

   These lies have sought to portray Russia as a backward country on the verge of imminient collapse, that stand no chance against the might of the West.

   We here know that those pushing for war with Russia are in for a rude awakening, so we can only hope that enough people wise up before the Kalibrs come knocking.

    Russia’s commercial outlook is complicated by the fact that, since WW2, Russia’s no.1 manufacturing concern has been to ensure Russian defense is up to defeating anything any other ‘super-power’ can throw at Russia. From nuclear warheads powerful enough to wipe out Southern England with a single missile to anti-mobile-armour systems that can shred any possible ground invasion by NATO in a day, Russia’s thinking has been coloured by the needs of preparing to defeat any demonic bully, no matter how great.

    Look at how yesterday, Trump’s depraved zionist UN ambassador was laughing about how she would be beating up Russia over and over again- and then today her words were given concrete meaning with the sickening terror attack against the Russian transport system. The Americans murder without remorse- mass murder on an unthinkable scale if they can get away with it (like Mosul and Yemen today), or a secretive knife in the ribs (today’s metro attack) if too many eyes are watching.

    America is indeed a commercial giant whose output has no precedent in Human History. But America also suffers from corruption on a scale also without precedent, so their heavy military engineering is compromised to hell, with most projects existing only to make a bunch of zionist and their friends rich beyond belief. The American military increasingly gives greatest power to psychopathic mass murderers, or SJW appointments chosen because of their sexual orientation or colour of their skin. Both classes of ‘leaders’ are terrible against real opponents on the battlefield.

    The American fighting man is a coward, who only ‘wins’ when their military opponent is out-gunned 10-1 at least, or has only the most primitive weapons/training, or is actually mostly women and children. When Americans have a 5-1 advantage or worse, they lose- every time.

    Complicating matters is the purposeful movement by the West of much manufacturing to the ‘neutral’ Far East- where Russia has as much access to high-tech as the West. Every half-decent nation on the Earth can give its kids computers and internet access from an early age, and attempt to skill-up its population. Motivation now matters more than any other factor. The will to ‘win’ is everything, and Russia must maintain this.

    You missed the biggest thing of all in world terms… WHEAT. Russia has finally beat America as the world’s largest exporter of wheat. This is a recent development, specifically pushed by Putin to diversify away from volatile oil.

    The overall theme is that Russia maintained an emphasis on self-sufficiency and SKILLS during the Soviet period. Despite the evil efforts of Soros and Sachs, Russia never lost the wide variety of SKILLS needed to design and build stuff. Russia never outsourced its industry. America has been outsourcing more and more since 1970, and has lost many of the skills needed to rebuild.

    Very informative articles. Most people have no idea of Russian productive capabilities. However, what most Westerners will counter with is the question “Well, sure, but what do they produce that anyone outside Russia wants to buy? What is Russia known for outside of oil, gas, and military products?”

    The very idea that one has to produce three articles explaining what Russia produces should be an indicator of their impact on the world, at least today’s world. As the Russia/China/Eurasian market expands in the future, I suspect many major changes coming as Russia sits in the middle of Europe and Asia, and its products will get much more attention.
