“31.07.2014, Donetsk, government House. Urgent appeal of Igor strelkov and Vladimir antiufeev. Kyiv prepares strikes by missile “Tochka-U” on industrial objects of Donbass to cause an ecological catastrophe.
The DNR of Minister of defense Igor Strelkov reported that chastener troops are planning large-scale provocation. As a result tens of thousands of Donbass residents could be killed. He made this statement during a joint press conference with the DNR Deputy Minister Vladimir Antyufeev. “The intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of People’s Republic of Donetsk has informed me that the Ukrainian contender chastener troops prepare big provocation which should result in declaration of DNR as terrorist organization. They want to blame us in terrorism and killing of the civilian population,” – said Strelkov. “The idea is so monstrous that it is probably hard to believe, but those who have not seen settlements fired by phosphorus shells, but those who have not seen with their own eyes the people affected by chemical weapons, but those who have not seen howitzers firing the center of the city…” – he emphasized “According to the data we have got (acknowledged data)- Strelkov said – three devices (three rockets) to be launched with the aid of weapon systems pad “Tochka-U ” were delivered to the airfield Kramatorsk. It is assumed that before the missiles launch propaganda campaign will be carried out to accuse the militias in preparing attacks on chemical plants in Donetsk and Lugansk. “
According to Strelkov, knowing all that acts made by Ukrainian troops in Donbass, we are made to believe whatever information, “There is no degradation limit for these people. Nothing sacred exists for them. The consequences can be appalling. Depending on the wind, chlorine vapour can reach out-of Donetsk to Volnovakha. Everything will be killed in this area. People and animal stock will die. The chlorine provided is enough to kill mice and men on the vast territory. Victims may be tens of thousands. DNR Defense Minister hopes his statement would prevent the use of such barbaric methods of punitive action.”
There were rumors of something big. I assumed the ballistic missiles were it. Now it seems a deliberate destruction of chemical stores is planned. Things may get even worse. Some time ago, the US installed some biological (weapon?) research plants in Ukraine, one in Odessa, the other near Kharkiv. The location of the others, I do not know. Then there are the nuclear power plants. Pravi Sektor thugs have been reported trying to gain access but have been repelled so far. What a mess.
On a side note, I was surprised Strelkov abruptly left the press call after completing his statement. I’m sure the press were frustrated by that. I’m not sure what to make of it.
Maybe they are planning this because the MH 17 false flag is about to “blow up” as http://rt.com/news/177000-mh17-site-ukraine-experts/ Dutch and Australian forensic teams have reached the Malaysian Airlines crash site in eastern Ukraine for the first time, accompanied by OSCE monitors, after almost a week of trying to access the scene.

Yes, I’ve been tweeting this info out all day. Unfortunately, the Other Side has got all their propagandists both denouncing it as baseless fearmongering, and also saying that this statement from Strelkov proves that if anything happens, it will be the defense forces doing it.
Let’s hope the fact that this is being so widely publicized will itself be a deterrent.
Dutch and Australian forensic teams have reached the Malaysian Airlines crash site in eastern Ukraine for the first time, accompanied by OSCE monitors, after almost a week of trying to access the scene.
I think the stalling had more to do with waiting until the EU hardcore sanctions would finally be issued. Now that the damage has been done and the Western elites can gleefully cheer about their successful humiliation of Putin, the work can begin. The public has all but forgotten what happened, except a faint memory about Putin’s guilt and that Russians are boozers and terrorists.
Analysts fear growing desperation from the West who can neither move forward, nor retreat, will resort to increasingly desperate and destructive tactics to change the tide in Ukraine, and against Russia and the growing multipolar order it represents. But when sanctions and what appears to have been a false flag attack have failed utterly, what is left besides war? However, even war is an untenable prospect for the West – that while feasible and likely to catch most off guard as an opinion not considered to be on the table – it is a prospect that could initially succeed but ultimately backfire just as Hitler’s invasion of the Soviet Union did during World War II.
But when it’s not the money or the blood of the special interests driving this confrontation with Russia being spent, what does the West have to lose by trying? Russia will have to continue being smart, patient, prudent, and let the West’s ill-intents destroy itself. No matter how weak or desperate the West may appear throughout was appears to be irreversible decline, the one mistake to be made would be underestimating what Washington, London, and Brussels could do in their death throes. From theaters along Russia’s immediate peripheries, to interests across the Middle East and North Africa – Syria included – maximum vigilance is required to guard against the vindictive spite of an antiquated, dying international order.
Certainly the US has nothing to gain by disclosing the details of Kiev’s use of WMDs against its own people. It was similar allegations the United States used itself as a pretext to invade and occupy Iraq for nearly a decade, and attempted to do so again in Syria. In Libya, merely using warplanes against militants was deemed a crime against humanity by NATO paving way for a devastating air campaign coupled with heavily armed militants backed by NATO cash and logistics on the ground. Regime change in each case was the primary objective.
With the pro-Western regime in Kiev turning tanks, artillery, warplanes, and now imprecise but devastating ballistic missiles on its own people, it would again be incumbent upon NATO to likewise intervene under its own contrived pretense (and with multiple precedents) of responsibility to protect to stop Kiev’s assault on the people of eastern Ukraine. That NATO has elected to turn a blind eye to Kiev’s tactics is an explicit indicator of the absolute lack of legitimacy or consistency behind both Western values and the international institutions, laws, and “norms” supposedly built upon them.
“Donbass you want to use as a resource, and the extra people to kill, said in the air of state TV channels of Ukraine journalist of the edition “Ukrainian weekly” Bogdan Butkevich.
Donbass is not just a depressive region. Where the wild the number of unwanted people. <…> I absolutely consciously say this. In the Donetsk region of about 4 million inhabitants. And at least half a million extra”, – quotes the words of the journalist Вести.Ru.
“We could not understand the Donbass. We need to understand the Ukrainian national interest. And Donbass you want to use as a resource. <…> In respect of Donbass: I don’t know the recipe, how to do it quickly. However, the most important thing to do: there are people who should be killed”, – concluded the Butkevich…”
Remarkably similar to the zionist Jewish view of Palestinians that is expressed in Israel.
So what, Strelkov? Did you think the Ukies would play fair? Did you think they would not go all the way? This is 2014, and absolutely anything goes. Maybe you underestimated the adversary’s power just a tad?
Kiev has the perfect benefactor for this genocide. The CIA and US leadership was behind the chemical attack they tried to convince the world was Assad’s doing in Syria.
Seymour Hersh exposed the truth to the world.
What this news conference indicates is that the militia has Intel that must be high into the Ukie military.
Of course, the psychopaths in Kiev have cover. The EU, NATO and Obama will cover for them. The generals on the ground will hang for any gas attacks if it gets to criminal prosecution.
Men in $3000 suits never hang or get shot at a wall. But Ukie generals are expendable.
We know the urgency to win this war is getting excruciating for the West. They thought Russia would move in or the militia would be defeated.
Now they are setting September as their deadline.
I think one more month is all Donetsk can hold out. Chemicals definitely will be used on the city if it takes that to uproot the militia.
A militia with mortars cannot win against ballistic missiles and air power. It can hold off for awhile, and even hurt the army. But the supply line of tanks and artillery seems endless.
Unless significant manpower increases for the militia, August and September could be devastating.
Whenever the militia does very well, quickly, the Ukies ratchet up the machines and the deadliness.
Nothing is unthinkable when judging what the Ukies will do next.
Putin will have to find a way to keep the militia in the field, viable and destroying the Ukies.
@yonatan, On a side note, I was surprised Strelkov abruptly left the press call after completing his statement. I’m sure the press were frustrated by that. I’m not sure what to make of it.
If you look at this video here , you’ll see Strelkov is not making any effort anymore to hide a deep disdain for the press. He starts by saing, in effect, “I’ll be making a statement, and if you hear it or not, it doesn’t matter to me – I don’t care anymore.”
Putin is still trying to win hearts and minds. Strelkov – not so much.
There are unconfirmed reports that Russia used chemical weapon against Ukrainian border patrol in Krasnopartezansk. After bombing from Russia the Ukrainian patrol saw sick fog and those who did not have time to put gas masks are having problems with breathing now……The air was collected for research, waiting on results.
Antiufeev, however, seemed to be saying a lot more about Russia’s involvement (or lack thereof) than came through on the captions: is there a translation of his words somewhere?
Otoh, might it be possible that his whole thing could fizzle if there’s nothing frack-worthy in Slavyansk bc the whole purpose has been economic damage to Russia plus whatever resources we can possibly grab, and the idjits in charge really do believe our silly sanctions will set Russia back, or at least delay the inevitable.
Now for a smidge of good news: I’m probably just grabbing at straws here in the face of even greater horrors than have already been perpetrated, but it’s been fascinating over the past couple of days to watch Russia retaliate with, not sanctions per se, but import restrictions on all sorts of Baltic, Polish, Ukrainian and American agricultural products… based on pretty valid health-related concerns. Meats, poultry, grains, produce… very, very interesting indeed. Small change? Not really. It just won’t bring back any of the dead or restore any of the maimed.
In 1999 NATO bombed the Pancevo chemical plant to trigger an environmental catastrophe in Yugoslavia, too.
“By using thermal images, NATO was able to identify which of the tanks were still filled to the brim with toxic chemicals. Among these noxious liquids were containers of ethylene-dichloride (EDC), ethylene, chlorine, chlorine-hydrogen, propylene and vinyl chloride monomers (VCM).” http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO404B.html
Let’s have a look at the other “ATO” in the Gaza Strip:
Western politicians and media have a long history of ignoring the horrific conditions under which Palestinians live under Israeli Occupation while paying universal homage to Israel as the “only democracy in the Middle East.”
This mythology has now exploded. As Paul Mason has pointed out, since Israel began its July 8th attack on Gaza, there has been a “massive change in the balance of power between social media and the old hierarchical media channels we used to rely on to understand wars.”
For the first time, the world has access to real-time images, voices and narratives of the people of Gaza themselves. Deepa Kumar correctly surmised that this has led to a “crumbling” of Israel’s propaganda war, and even Israel stalwarts like the New York Times have been forced to report the catastrophic effects on Palestinians produced by Israel’s massacre.
Egypt’s regime is one of the two principal jailers of Gaza Palestinians in the largest concentration camp in the world.
Hosni Mubarak’s heir on the Egyptian throne, General Abdulfattah al-Sisi, expressed well the lies that the Egyptian ruling class of thieves has been propagating in Egypt since the anti-Arab and anti-Palestinian campaigns of the mid to late 1970s under President Anwar Sadat.
The uncharismatic Sisi, whose oratorical abilities rival those of Yasser Arafat, announced with much pomp in his 23 July speech marking the anniversary of the 1952 overthrow of the monarchy that Egypt had already sacrificed “100,000 Egyptian martyrs” for the Palestinian cause.
While few people doubt the sacrifices that Egyptian soldiers have made to defend Egypt in the last 67 years, to claim that these sacrifices were made on behalf of Palestine and the Palestinians is the ultimate in hypocrisy.
A hypothesis: Once the first use of ballistic rocket has almost started the war with Russia, but nonetheless the war has not started, the aim of this statement is simply a declaration that the next start of a ballistic rocket will be the start of the war.
After this announcement, when they start such a rocket, there is no other choice for Rossia than to start the war, and this will be quite obvious for everybody.
Arguments in favour of this hypothesis: If the only aim would be such a plan, and the aim of publication the prevention by publication, it would be sufficient to give this information to various papers and news sources. To make such a claim in an official press conference makes it an official statement. Rossia has, therefore, all reasons to officially believe this – and to act correspondingly once the next rocket starts, even if it is clear that it is not directed against Rossia but only Novorossia.
Thanks Stephen for showing how the Guardian is now no different from Fox news in promoting/creating goebbelsian propaganda based upon nothing but falsehoods. The Guardian is even more zionist Jewish than Fox, it’s actually a very closed Jewish house. They represent the sort of Israeli POV one finds at Haaretz or in the Israeli politics of Shimon Peres types.
This is another good example of how Israel, and zionist Jews operate.
Thank god the truth prevents false flags- Oh, wait a moment, that’s never true is it. False flags NEVER fool the informed (like the kind of person who would watch this video), but they do fool enough of the sheeple who suck daily at the tea of zionist produced ‘news’ and ‘entertainment’.
I can carefully explain a situation to any ordinary person, with facts and examples, and win their complete agreement. But a week later they are back to spouting the same old lies word-for-word from their favourite zionist propaganda masters. So long as there’s a dancing, singing zionist stooge either side of the zionist ‘news’ report, the lies go down oh so sweetly.
No, what matters with a false flag is that the monsters gain the support of the non-demonic (but still completely evil) commanders lower down in the command structure. These people fret about their own safety and security. They allow their paranoid thoughts to convince themselves that false flags have a high probability of public exposure (untrue). And a big enough false flag needs a lot of people to sign off on the project (see Operation Northwoods for the text-book example).
Why do you think the EU and USA so recently placed their ‘military advisers’ in control of Kiev, and re-arranged the stooge ‘government’ there? They are looking for Ukrainians with the ‘Dutch courage’ to see this false flag into play.
But Russia shot down the last 4 WW3 class ballistic missiles that tested the feasibility of the plan, so this particular false-flag is cancelled. And the resistance start to sound like “the boy who cried wolf”. This is why propaganda masters never lose. Every outcome to a scenario can be used to damage the ‘enemy’.
These ‘unusual’ ways of waging a war are a stop-gap while Ukraine ramps up its army. Conventional manpower, and conventional police-state terror tactics are going to get the job done in Novorussia, sadly, while Putin sits back and waits for a massive Ukrainian army to attack Crimea- possibly at the end of this year.
I think Putin thinks he is playing a PC-game of “Civilisation V”. Why poke a bit at your enemy when you can safely wait for them to raise an enormous, useless army that you can take pleasure in totally destroying? But life isn’t a computer game, and one’s opponents are neither as dumb, nor as predictable as the so-called AI.
I wonder why they got rid of Borodai and installed Antiufeev. I suspect he is just more ruthless and knows how to get things done. I bet this business is partly why Girkin is in a bad mood. I dont think he is getting the support that he wants and could be rotated out at any time.
Pravda (or whoever did the subtitling) seriously needs to find a better Russian English translator. Those subtitles were painful. It can’t be that hard to get it more correct. This isn’t Farsi or something.
I would have liked Stelkov to be a bit more forthcoming on where he got his warning from, if he can without revealing his sources.
As it stands, this could be viewed as either propaganda against Kiev or a fore-shadowing of militia action, just as the militia’s critics are saying.
In the end, it won’t matter. If the event occurs, the West will pin it on the militia in any event. At least warning about it will deflect some suspicion from the militia, but only for those who already don’t believe Kiev and the US.
That is why it would be worth Stelkov burning his sources to make the claims more credible.
“…Continue active work group DRG in the area of Raisins, located 52 km North-West of Slavyansk, reconnaissance and sabotage group of the Slavic guerrillas attacked a column of military instructors from the United States. During the attack were killed and three American officer. In addition, wounded General Ki Randy Allenthat actually commands the punitive operation of Ukrainian troops…”
Just finished watching the press conference and was going to post it in the comments, but fortunately it’s already up here.
It sounds like the earlier launches of this missile were “practice”.

What are the news from the frontline. Awfully silent. Things going bad? Kiev publishing maps that show Donetsk surrounded. BBCDanielS retweeted it.
Holy cow, Russia Today just reports that a chemical plant in Donetsk blasted – claims of a tactical missile…
What’s going on? Is that the same plant as Strelkov described here?
