Sergey Lavrov on August 18 in Berlin: the West (i.e., the US), and not Kiev, is the real patron of the paramilitary brigades and “police” units of co-financed by the oligarchs and deployed against the people of Donbass, and this includes the Nazi Right Sector of Yarosh and the Nazi Azov battalion:
“The authorities in Kiev are not in control of the numerous paramilitary forces, including Right Sector, which, we estimate, comprises a large portion of the National Guard. The demarche of Right Sector towards the Ukrainian Interior Minister speaks for itself,” Sergey Lavrov said, adding that existence of armed groups sponsored by Ukrainian oligarchs, such as the Azov and Dnepr battalions, poses a great security threat.
“We work with our Western partners in Europe and the United States who can really influence those paramilitary units that don’t answer to the central government in Kiev. We know the West has such influence,” he added.

Thanks for this…it seems like Russian help is really there…
Man I hope things get better even though Strelkov’s been taken off the job…I know they say he’s been given command of the army now, but will things continue to improve…
Many think that the string of “defeats” and retreats we have seen so far means the inevitable fall of Novorossiya. The conclusion is false. When Strelkov entered Slavyansk he had little more than 20 men and a crowbar. Now people are seriously discussing a rerun of the Battle of Kursk and placing bets on who will win. Something has been done right!
All the retreats so far are part of a planned strategy – the only one that can bring the needed victory. It is a called “deep defense”. The goal is not to control territory, but the weakening and destruction of the invading forces and the capture of its weaponry. Every operation and breakthrough of the Kiev forces has ended in destruction or heavy losses. The latest estimate of Kiev losses was 12,000 dead and wounded and 7,000 deserters. The heavy fighting of the last few days has most likely raised the total losses to more than 20 thousand. In the battles for the “Cauldrons” a thousand vehicles have been destroyed.
On the other hand, we have heard little of losses of the Novorossiyan forces. The propagandists in Kiev will daily announce the death of hundreds of “terrorists”, but there are few signs of such destruction on the battlefield. NAF tactics aims to spare its live force and does everything to avoid the loss of life. NAF has also used its 400 armored vehicle very sparingly. … The battle is no longer about Donbass, not even about the whole of Novorossiya. The prize is all of Ukraine! The outcome will be resolved when the last battle worthy soldier in the Kiev forces comes face to face with the last square foot of free Novorossiya.
How will all this end? The options: 1) Novorossiya repulses the attack by the last the Kiev forces. The Ukrainian army throws in the towel. NAF tanks turn towards Odessa or Kiev. 2) The Kiev army comes within five inches of defeating Novorossiya. Russia comes to the rescue and draws permanent borders between Banderastan and Novorossiya. 3) Kiev wins, NAF loses. The economic destruction and political chaos still lead to the disintegration of Ukraine. 4) Kiev wins, NATO invades and occupies all of Ukraine. The attack on Crimea commences.
In the larger context of “World War 4” this battle is for domination over the whole world. The creation of a global alliance of anti-NATO and anti-dollar “sovereignists” is fast progressing. Russia has now had almost half a year to build up their own banking system and free itself from economic dependence on the West. One more week and Russia has free hands to act – militarily if necessary.
I’d go to YouTube on a pc it’s way smoother than watching thru the browser, and if using mobile link, it uses less data too. For everyone, if you have an android phone CM browser seems to play videos pretty smoothly. Another option is downloading the youtube videos using an app called “videoder”, you just hit that option from the share button, multiple formats to choose from, and watch on a video player app- MX Player is best by far. If it’s only the audio you need you can even listen with the screen off. Probably some similar options for pc but I don’t know for sure. I usually have issues watching videos on the sites. But it’s up to the makers of the video and/or the channels that play them to add subtitles to foreign language videos. Also you might want to check your flash player for updates and make sure you get the settings right. Adobe will automatically tell you if you have the right version installed.
I’ve been getting an uncanny sense over the last couple of weeks that the hunter-prey roles have been almost imperceptibly reversing for a month. That NATO is now the one being baited.
Anyone else getting the feeling that, despite appearances, this thing has flipped?
If Donbass mounts a drive on Kiev and NATO stands by, its credibility is destroyed. If it moves in, Russia has every justification it needs to follow, and it can put far more force on the ground in a week than NATO could in a month.
In the spirit of this post ( ;-), but at the same time not without compassion for Ukie unwilling conscripts, I transcribed some excerpts (at bottom) from…
Ukie Aidar Battalion soldier calls in from battle zone to Ukrainian TV show [AUDIO – 02:57, with English captioning]
…the second of three items (with commentary) at the just-posted:
[post above also includes commentary regarding the featured video of this Saker post]
I would like to say that the press and TV news are already saying that Novosvetlovka has been liberated, saying whatever’s convenient, and so on…
We’re surrounded on three sides…We need not only artillery and Grad support now but we need more troops, because we’re holding these positions but I’m telling you honestly that we have a LOT of wounded and communications are nonexistent.
When the tank battle started, infantry just appeared out of nowhere — sprouted up like mushrooms — I can’t understand where from…there were over 300 who needed to be taken [to the hospital]…
We were promised help but it still hasn’t materialized…And seriously, f***, all we’ve got left is 80 men. F****** Sh**!…
I agree with Larchmonter. These were not traumatised guys, these were guys getting in a story so that when accused of desertion they would then point back at this video and say, as kids do, ‘well, we told this story back on such and such a date so you can see we are not making it up now’. They are practicing to be fluent and trying to fix upon memes that will garner sympathy,
Unlike Saker I do not think that the Russian military has been firing across the border – there’s no ‘win’ for them in doing so and frankly, I am sure that if US surveillance is as good as the Russians have then any evidence of such activity would have been bruited about by the US/NATO. No, the Russians are the accepted bogeyman, the excuse and justification for all failures.
Like Larchmonter there’s little sympathy from me for these guys, and for the same reasons.
All the foregoing noted though, this is the calibre of the guys the rebels are fighting. Unmotivated, scared and running. Fighting against well motivated people, well led and with decent communication it is no great surprise to this writer that the rebels are attaining their victories against the men and materiel of the junta.
They are destined to lose. I think given a bit of time the people of Western Ukraine will rethink this agenda and figure out who their true enemies are.
It pains me to see what the US has done to Ukraine. I have never been more disgusted with the psychopaths in Washington.
Erebus said… “I’ve been getting an uncanny sense over the last couple of weeks that the hunter-prey roles have been almost imperceptibly reversing for a month. That NATO is now the one being baited.

Erebus – I can’t help thinking that the US always planned it that way – that East Ukrainians would be attacking the West. But then when the snipers were supposed to trigger the whole thing off, Yanukovych ran off instead of sending in his troops guns blazing (as Erdogan did in Turkey).
So we have the bizarre situation where the West is backing the bad guys while putting out PR of how they are the good guys. That would also explain the need for false flags and the coincidence of the US satellite over the crash site at the right time.
There is no way that the US or EU can be seen backing a Junta that is killing its own countrymen. It is happening but there is a massive coverup in the Western press. As it gradually becomes clearer (and standard practice now is to rport “Ukraine claims….”), The EU/US have to back off and back down.
Crimea now looks the perfect way to have these things managed. Only an agreed partition can solve the West’s problem in covering up its own fuck ups. Obama says “we must stop the killing that Putin is responsible, even if a partition is wrong”. Result – massive western coverup, Putin gets the blame but Russian speakers are safe.
I think partition is inevitable and soon – Poroshenko has probably been informed already. What we are seeing now is as much ethnic cleansing as possible so as to influence where the borders will be.
Ukraine’s secret weapon: Funding from the country’s millionaires By Will Ripley, CNN
The world is waking up. Imagine that story on CNN 3 weeks ago. (I also think the press have got tired with the PR channels the Ukraine/US has steered them to. There was an excellent BBC radio documentary year or so after the Georgia “invasion” that explained just how the PR had been managed so that many media printed the invasion story even though their man on the ground had clearly told them it was untrue. It would be great if someone could find it.
A link to an interesting view dealing with the figure of Anatoly Chubais. The greater picture involve a battle between russians clans. It is in french here :
It is great to see the revolutionary power of black people in America on display again after a long time. I have been hoping for this moment for the last year, wondering and waiting. Let’s all get together behind our black brothers and sisters, they are the revolutionary front of New America, they were before and they are again.
It was mind blowing for me, Bobby Seale, to see the images of a tear-gassed, smoky night in Ferguson, Missouri where the people were protesting the murder of an 18-year-old African American male, Michael Brown, murdered by the Ferguson police with his hands up in surrender. I’m taken back to another tear-gassed, smoky night in Oakland, California in 1968 after the death of Martin Luther King. That night another young African American youth, Bobby Hutton, was murdered by the Oakland police. Bobby Hutton, like Michael Brown, was murdered with his hands up. He was kicked in the back by the police and told, “run, nigger, run,” and when he stumbled forward, several policemen riddled his body with bullets.
…
We, the people, can organize and structure things to defend our human rights. What I was doing in the late sixties was in the spirit of and in line with Dr. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and other progressive human rights activists. What my Berkeley referendum to the ballot meant in those times is what needs to take place today in cities across America.
Revolutionary power of black people in America on display in Ferguson? Nonsense! There are no Black Panthers here, or anywhere; haven’t been for years. Some people really are stuck in the 1960’s, whether they were alive then or not. ;~)
The kid was innocent and simply gunned down and what you’re seeing is ordinary people, mothers, fathers, grandparents, peacefully protesting the injustice of Mossad-trained (yes) hyper-militarized suburban cops looking and acting like a SWAT team or soldiers and brutalizing and killing their sons. Wouldn’t you protest? And they did it nonviolently and unarmed. The rest is just media hype and the only “revolution” in evidence is what has happened to our police force, whose function used to be to protect us, not mow us down.
And again, where oh where are the American Patriots when we need them? *crickets* Big hat, little ranch.
Maybe this man will have to go back to war soon : Angela Merkel is attended on saturday August 23 th, the day before the Ukraine national feast. It will get hot in Donbass the coming days, I’m really scared for the civilians.
Erebus siad: If Donbass mounts a drive on Kiev and NATO stands by, its credibility is destroyed. If it moves in, Russia has every justification it needs to follow, and it can put far more force on the ground in a week than NATO could in a month.
In my opinion, NATO will come in with airborne and therefore air war will precede. The ground forces will come out of Poland, but only if the air is controlled by NATO. I can’t imagine that development. Russia has every advantage. NATO would have to attack across all Russian Western borders. In other words, WW3/4. And without going to nukes? Hardly. A bum’s rush across the Baltic and across thousand long miles of border is a death wish for Europe.
NATO has no options other to insert a very fast brigade into Kiev and fight alongside the Nazis. They will be losers there unless they threaten total destruction of some Russian assets to obtain a ceasefire and extraction.
It will be Obama and Putin on the red phone. NATO will be in worse shape than before. It is the Cuban crisis all over again. The US lost their missile bases in Turkey over that one.
It’s 1962 all over again. If NATO tries direct military intervention.
Michael Brown struck the police officer, refused his orders to surrender, rushed the officer and was shot.
Michael Brown, on videotape, stole from the convenience store and assaulted the store clerk.
Michael Brown was “innocent”.
The cop, according to the parents’ expert autopsy analysis, shot him four times in order to stop him from attacking. The final shots were from less than six feet. So the cop did the right thing, using minimal force until he had to use deadly force to drop the “innocent”.
In my opinion, when you strike a cop, expect the worst. If that cop had been Latino or Asian or Black, he would have done the same.
You don’t rob stores, you don’t assault store clerks, you don’t strike cops, and you don’t charge at cops when they order you to surrender.
All the rest is noise. Race-baiting noise from bleeding hearts and professional agitators.
When the New Black Panthers get their payments and when Jesse and the pros get their “donations”, this will just be another BS racial incident instead of a petty criminal punk getting his ass shot dead for just cause.
The moral is: obey the law. Michael Brown broke the law over and over until he lost his life. It was his choice to squander his life.
Actually, it is no different than that white race car driver that got out of his car and ran down the track to challenge Tony Stewart as the cars were coming around. He died by his own stupidity and recklessness.
He was 20. It must be something about their youthful recklessness, not the color of their skin.
@Nora “The kid was innocent and simply gunned down”
Ho! Hum! Are you talking about the second one? Because, though something is definitely rotten in the US Kingdom, there may also be some sort of “cultural problem” for black Americans (especially in their teens…)
It appears those boys in the video didn’t want to admit they were beaten by the Eastern militia boys with a few Russian volunteers thrown in.So they made it sound like the Russian army was beating them. The facts are that on a man to man basis the militia man would kill any one of them. Its the numbers and equipment the militia is having trouble with.If the militia can solve the manpower shortage. The Ukies are helping them solve the weapons problem themselves. The captured weapons supply is growing. But damn our side needs men to use them.If we do end up losing it will be from lack of fighters not guts.
BTW, Michael Brown had no police record. It seems he may have been a bit of a thug, but he did finish school, etc. I’ve known white guys that did *far* worse than he and are still alive. The officer was not aware of any robbery. Execution is a bit much for jaywalking, don’t you think?
The problem is that black men are killed, imprisoned (enslaved in private prison factories) and denied work massively. That leads to all kinds of desperate behavior, for obvious reasons. Hamas springs to mind.. :
I think this video is fake, probably Ukie propaganda disseminated in response to a similar (presumably authentic) video that has recently gone viral (http://vineyardsaker.blogspot.fr/2014/08/which-side-is-getting-crushed-see-for.html) In my opinion the present video has the characteristics of a usual “limited hangout operation”: by admitting that there are 30 and not three casualties, other sources reporting hundreds if not thousands of KIAs are indirectly but efficiently discredited. Moreover, the video sounds like a 50-year anniversary special remix edition of the Gulf of Tonkin Lie “we’re being attacked”. This is just what the Ukies need to make the case for the US/NATO/whoever to come and help their poor, courageous soldiers.
@Nora: “From Paul Craig Roberts, yesterday: “The city upon the hill, the light unto the world, the home of the exceptional, indispensable people is the home of Satan’s lies where truth is prohibited and war is the end game.””
@Nora: “Mohamed, again, I’d love to be able to believe you but some cahoots, with all the death and destruction. And how on earth is *any* of it an illusion? If only! ;~)”
CUI BONO = CRIMEA
The value of Crimea to Russia, is like life and death.
The death and destruction is the result of cui bono. The rest is illusion of Evil Whisper, which is repeated time and time again, until one becomes a believer. One has to be all times conscious of this Evil Whisper.
One can only expect from Obama, the best he does for USA, for which he has taken the oath. If not, then he can be held for treason.
The same is for Putin but for Russia, anything else he can be held for treason too.
However, when it come to Obama and Putin personally, Putin is more of a human being, clean, compassionate and a good person. But as the President of his country, he has to do the utmost for his country.
POW’s. I pontificated to a dear friend yesterday about the ork POW’s and threatened to write a post about them. That friend urged me to do so, ergo this post.
We know that the numbers of ork prisoners has been growing of late. It is a given that few, if any, prisoners are taken during fighting with for instance Adar ‘battalion’ as these are the boys who go in after the orks take a village or town and have at the locals with often distressing results for the locals, IOW ‘soldiers’ they ain’t, thugs and murderers they be. This does not absolve the orks from responsibility of what these cretins do by any stretch of the imagination simply because the line orks know exactly what is happening behind them and for whatever reasons have no problems with the situation.
POW’s would normally be put in a compound and guarded 24/7. By international law and treaty POW’s have to be fed, housed, watered, exercised and medicated as needed. We know that this fantasy often does not happen.
Novorossiya seems to have a policy of letting the POW rankers go rather soon after the rough pounce of capture. Officers, Sarjanti and specialists are generally held to be exchanged for Novorossiya prisoners, the norm being one for one except in special cases were it can be 10 for one. The problem with this policy is the little bastids almost always go right back to their units and fight against the boys again.
In my opinion Novorossiya does not have the manpower to set up POW camps nor the where with all to guard the POW’s, feed them, medicate them, et al. Toss in the fact that any Novorossiya POW camp will be instantly surrounded by hordes of news types who will be itching for an excuse to denigrate Novorossiya right down to ‘You didn’t give him enough squares of toilet paper! You are torturing these poor boys!!’ and you have an instant lose/lose situation for Novorossiya. Therefore, I have to grudgingly agree with the policies of Novorossiya, to wit catch and release for the line orks.
The good side of this policy is it gives Novorossiya the chance to kill the orks again and I know for a fact that this has happened often and with some really distressing happenings for the orks. The bad side of this policy is the soldiers of Novorossiya have to fight the orks they just released. No one every said life was without ironies, but I can pretty much guaranty you that the same ork is rarely captured twice.
“Sybrina Fulton, the mother of teenaged shooting victim Trayvon Martin, has written a heartbreaking letter to the family of Michael Brown, the unarmed teenager who was shot and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer earlier this month.
Published Monday by Time magazine, Fulton’s letter draws on her experience following the 2012 shooting of her son, 17 at the time, by a neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman. Tried for manslaughter, Zimmerman was acquitted by a jury, under Florida’s controversial “Stand Your Ground” law.”
Since there has been very little propaganda being pushed via the CBC lately the latest AP (Associated propaganda) piece is worth taking a peek. Not so much for the spin factor but for the way the narrative is being massaged. Below are just a few snippets from the piece, all of which are from the end portion.
Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko to meet Vladimir Putin in Minsk Ukrainian government troops inch closer to rebel city Donetsk The Associated Press Posted: Aug 19, 2014 3:28 AM ET Last Updated: Aug 19, 2014 12:43 PM ET
A resident of Olenivka, a village south of Donetsk, told the Associated Press by telephone that Ukrainian government troops were firing artillery from fields near her house.
Tatyana, who asked for her surname not to be printed for fear of reprisal from Ukrainian troops, said that houses in her village had been hit by return fire in previous days. Loud blasts could be heard in the background as she spoke.
…
The eyewitness accounts appear to fly in the face of claims by the Kyiv government that the armed forces have refrained from aiming rockets at residential areas.
…while the U.S. confirmed the shelling of the convoy but said it did not know who was responsible.
…
There have been no eyewitness accounts of what happened and the war-torn area is largely off limits for journalists, making independent verification impossible.
To place a bit more perspective on how the pro-Harper-Kiev neocon trolls are reacting, consider this short summary.
For the most part the trolls, as always, consistently attempt to discredit any/all references to “Russian” sources as propaganda and chatter amongst themselves to counter questions with groupthink psyops tactics. Oddly, they will not even consider the Ukie junta propaganda that is in the Russian language, which might actually be to their own demise.
Obviously this is intended to sway others from at least looking through the various sources in order to come to their own conclusion. As we are aware, critical thinking and informed consent are the enemy of globalist fascism.
To take this a bit further, the pro-Harper-Kiev neocon trolls have been reduced to only using Business Insider and Daily Mail propaganda to reinforce their spin and have not even taken a stab at the following comment/question posed:
The title to the video above is “Donetsk. Militants fighters of the Motorola arrived to Donetsk | August 19 Ukraine Today News” but there are no CC’s into English so if possible, could someone help out with a translation or an overview of what is being said?
Two points I’d like to make. One,I’d never unless they clearly surrendered take a prisoner from the volunteer Right Sector or the other neo-nazi formations. And from the other groups I think only release them into Russia. They ight turn back up.But they also might decide not to.But I’d let them know if they did turn back up they would be breaking the parole and not be released again.Second, the next 7 days are going to be vital for the militia. With Ukie Independence Day on the 24th,and Poroshenko meeting Putin in Minsk the 26th.He will demand from his commanders some kind of victory.Something to show that they are winning. That could be good for our side,as it might make them even more reckless of their soldiers lives. And we could cut a bunch of them down. But if the figures I’ve heard are right they are 2-3 to 1 in numbers against us.So they could overwhelm us if we aren’t careful. No matter which.I’m afraid this week is going to be hairy on the ground there.
2. Eased food imports? How? they have stopped food on “safety” requirements trying to come in from Belarus re-labeled but lacking the country of origin so they have been refused entry
Some telling quotes, e.g. “from a conversation with an Admiral from a European NATO member state in the early 1980s, paraphrasing him:
”American colleagues at the Pentagon told me, unequivocally, that the US and UK never would allow European – Soviet relations to develop to such a degree that they would challenge the US/UK’s political, economic or military primacy and hegemony on the European continent. Such a development will be prevented by all necessary means, if necessary by provoking a war in central Europe”.”
“During a phone call with nsnbc on Monday morning, Lehmann stressed that it would be a fallacy to understand Steinmeier’s statement as an endorsement of the U.S. bombing campaign against positions of the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq.
He added, that Steinmeier’s statement to Bild much rather represents a growing continental consensus against Anglo-American “projects in the Middle East and in Ukraine”.”
“Why NATO’s Fogh-Of-War was a Perfect Choice for US/UK Hegemony? How rotten things really are in the State of Denmark….” “Nobody would have been more eager at showing allegiance with the Anglo-American axis, even at the cost of a war in Europe, than Fogh Rasmussen”.”
“Respected publications, like the Financial Times or the once respected NRC Handelsblad of the Netherlands for which I worked sixteen years as East Asia Correspondent, not only joined in with this corrupted journalism but helped guide it to mad conclusions. The punditry and editorials that have grown out of this have gone further than anything among earlier examples of sustained media hysteria stoked for political purposes that I can remember. The most flagrant example I have come across, an anti-Putin leader in the (July 26) Economist Magazine, had the tone of Shakespeare’s Henry V exhorting his troops before the battle of Agincourt as he invaded France.”
Another must read from Gordon Duff, whose insight into the internal mechanism of the US power structure cannot be matched by anybody. For those who’s dilligently read GD, and Thierry Meyssan (starting with his eye-opening articles from around Jan 2013 about Obama=Putin collaboration and “the purge and the pact”) it’s obvious that Putin could not have achieved so much without Obama. Who has been the main target of the AngloZio lobby especially since the day he won his reelection.
Many people, even on ukie side, say that the next two weeks will be decisive. It coincides with the date till which the election of the new EU ministers were postponed. By then “the facts on the ground” should support more pro-Russia choices.
And then one of two avenues of solving the conflict, depending on the AngloZio’s willingness to admitting the defeat, will be pursued: 1) federalization 2) counter-putsch led by the NAF and supported this time by the Ukrainian military and security, not to mention significant parts of the population, Ukraine stays whole and joins the Eurasian Union asap (traitors are dealt with appropriately)

…
The battle is no longer about Donbass, not even about the whole of Novorossiya. The prize is all of Ukraine! The outcome will be resolved when the last battle worthy soldier in the Kiev forces comes face to face with the last square foot of free Novorossiya.
How will all this end? The options:
1) Novorossiya repulses the attack by the last the Kiev forces.
Dears Saker,
Could you please post the subtitles in srt format too ?
Because I don’t want to install the flash player that sucks my computer’s battery and make it hanging too often…
Thanx by advance.
Notice how clean their uniforms are..they have never been near a battleground and they look really well fed also..obviously backline heroes
Every time I see them refer to the Western governments as “our Partners” it makes me sick.
Frankly, it make Russia look weak, and the USA attacks weakness like a shark smelling blood in the water.

It is not my settings, the problem is with the embed code. That I can’t turn off short of blocking all extensions on my browser.
In the spirit of this post ( ;-), but at the same time not without compassion for Ukie unwilling conscripts, I transcribed some excerpts (at bottom) from…
Ukie Aidar Battalion soldier calls in from battle zone to Ukrainian TV show

Thanks for the update!
Is there a Saker SITREP in the making as well?
Any news on this story that the rebels have caught Ukrainians trying to mine the roads to be used by the aid convoy from Russia?

And this is CNN

Ukraine’s secret weapon: Funding from the country’s millionaires
By Will Ripley, CNN

– from St. Louis to Donetsk
They blame it on Russia bc they can’t stomach getting their asses kicked by fellow Ukrainians
If Russia was actively engaged this thing would have been concluded in one weekend.
If and when Russia goes in it won’t be by little dribbles
Only thing that wasn’t bullshit was their casualty rate is a factor of 10 to 1
Good. There should be more Uki battle deaths than civilians they have murdered
I don’t want to hear any sympathy for poor conscripts otherwise thousands more will be poured in
Someone said 12k dead Uki’s?
That is 2k dead a month. Usually it is the rebels who have to absorb that ratio of losses
These deaths are unsustainable. This war will have to add troops from outside bc I think the strategy is an attack on Crimea
NATO will have to supply weaponry to neutralize those Grads.
Hopefully Transcarpathia will openly revolt before the ratcheting up begins
Bobby Seale statement on Ferguson, MO:
https://plus.google.com/+BobbySealePowerToThePeople/posts/jPweuxPeK5k
All Power To All The People!
Anonymous 12:17,
Revolutionary power of black people in America on display in Ferguson?
It semés tout me that Putin is back-pedaling on a lot of stuff these days.
I just saw that he will be meeting with Poroshenko at the end of the month.
I’ve also read that he “eased” the ban on food imports from Europe.
The empire always seems to get what it wants. They could be controlling the world through fiat money for another few thousand years for all I know.
Erebus siad:
If Donbass mounts a drive on Kiev and NATO stands by, its credibility is destroyed. If it moves in, Russia has every justification it needs to follow, and it can put far more force on the ground in a week than NATO could in a month.
Let’s see:
@Nora
“The kid was innocent and simply gunned down”
Ho!
I think this video is fake, probably Ukie propaganda disseminated in response to a similar (presumably authentic) video that has recently gone viral ( http://vineyardsaker.blogspot.fr/2014/08/which-side-is-getting-crushed-see-for.html)
In my opinion the present video has the characteristics of a usual “limited hangout operation”: by admitting that there are 30 and not three casualties, other sources reporting hundreds if not thousands of KIAs are indirectly but efficiently discredited. Moreover, the video sounds like a 50-year anniversary special remix edition of the Gulf of Tonkin Lie “we’re being attacked”.
This is just what the Ukies need to make the case for the US/NATO/whoever to come and help their poor, courageous soldiers.
Is this another Putin master plan: Add tariffs to Ukrainian goods?

Best regards,
Mohamed.
Trayvon Martin’s mom writes open letter to Michael Brown’s family
Best regards,
Mohamed.
Fwd from Canuckistan:
Since there has been very little propaganda being pushed via the CBC lately the latest AP (Associated propaganda) piece is worth taking a peek. Not so much for the spin factor but for the way the narrative is being massaged. Below are just a few snippets from the piece, all of which are from the end portion.
Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko to meet Vladimir Putin in Minsk
Ukrainian government troops inch closer to rebel city Donetsk
The Associated Press
Posted: Aug 19, 2014 3:28 AM ET Last Updated: Aug 19, 2014 12:43 PM ET

Can someone inform us …who are these guys?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQUwZi6NfQU
The title to the video above is “Donetsk. Militants fighters of the Motorola arrived to Donetsk | August 19 Ukraine Today News” but there are no CC’s into English so if possible, could someone help out with a translation or an overview of what is being said?
This video looks like Hollywood to me.
It semés tout me that Putin is back-pedaling on a lot of stuff these days.

Very interesting piece from Christof Lehmann, who has his own sources (e.g. in Turkish intelligence/millitary) and important perspective form the German POV: German Positions on Iraq/Ukraine reflect growing Continental European Consensus against US/UK Hegemony
Surprising, at least to me, and very sober voice from an experienced Dutch analyst: The Ukraine, Corrupted Journalism, and the Atlanticist Faith in the “Failed States”
Interesting facts about criminal royal Dutch family, their opium deals and the submitting the Donbas population under Royal Dutch $hell rule (not sure if posted before). Do not expect anything honest about MH17 downing from the Netherlands.

“The officer was not aware of any robbery”
Yes, but this is exactly why it went sour:
The thing is that Michael Brown didn’t know that the policeman didn’t know. All he knew was he had just committed strong arm robbery and saw a police officer getting out of his car. To Brown, he thought he was going to get arrested,
