🔹 As for today, 97% of the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic has been liberated.
🔹 Residential areas of Severodonetsk have been fully liberated. The takeover of its industrial zone and neighbouring settlements continues. The offensive in the Popasnaya direction is developing.
🔹51 units of foreign military equipment have been destroyed during the last 10 days of the special military operation.
🔹 In five days, 126 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered, their total number is 6,489 people.
🔹 In Mariupol, water and electricity supply to residential areas is being restored in stages, streets are being cleared and the first social facilities have started to function.

🔹 The largest nuclear power plant in Europe, Zaporozhye, which can generate up to half of all nuclear power generation capacity of Ukraine, is operating normally.
🔹33 coal mines, 2 oil fields and 14 gas fields taken over by Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics during the special military operation continue to operate normally. The liberated territories are home to 57% of Ukraine’s steelmaking capacity.
🔹 While retreating, Ukrainian nationalists seek to cause maximum damage to these industries. In turn, the Russian military, while liberating the Donbass, is taking industry facilities under its protection, thus preserving the potential for the development of the region’s economy.
🔹 Joint efforts of the Russian Ministry of Defence and Russian Railways have created conditions for the resumption of full-fledged traffic between Russia, Donbass, Ukraine and Crimea on six railway sections.
🔹 The restoration of transport infrastructure and water supply creates favourable conditions for the development of agricultural sector in the liberated territories.
🔹 More than 27,000 tons of goods have been handed over to civilians.
🔹 During the summer training period, we will pay special attention to new ways of conducting combat operations based on the experience of the special military operation and other armed conflicts, army tactical shooting and first aid on the battlefield.
🔹 47 warships, boats and submarines will take part in the Main Naval Parade to be held in St Petersburg on July 31. Also for the first time, the female crew of the patrol boat Raptor will take part in the parade.
Interesting to note, Medvedev asked the Ukrainian delegation to come to negotiations sober…..off the coke eh!
I fully understand the issue of dealing with people high as kites and devoid of reality unable to fully understand what is going on around them.
Like setting ones hair on fire, calling the fire department, then trying to cook hot dogs over it while waiting for them to arrive.
By the sounds of it RF forces are gaining lots of experience, the real heavy lifting is still down the road a ways.

Medvedev was president, but it looks like he has now been designated as “heavy hitter” (more than an influential person). It’s no ascension, but I think he likes it, loves it. Putin “let the dogs out” (three).
What are the chances that Medvedev is being groomed again to be the next President, being now properly tutored by Putin and the Security council Secretary Nicolai Patrusev.
There will be continuity and Medvedev seem to have shed Atlanticist ideas now based on his writings and interviews.
Putin and Patrusev can still work behind the scenes for full birthing of Multipolar world.

World War III grinds on. The Russian Federation grows stronger while the Empire of Lies spends itself futilely in the Eastern Ukraine.
Based on the notes above, it looks like the Russian Armed Forces have recognized some areas in need of improvement in the tactical area. Specifically small unit tactics/marksmanship(?) and first aid. I suspect this may refer to lessons being learned in the heavy urban combat during the liberation of Mariupol.
The real question IMO is; how much more can the Ukrainian military take before it breaks?
I don’t think that what was said about training necessarily indicates that those are areas that need improving.Training can be “fluid” and “positively reactive”and where location specific best practices can discussed and taught to others. For example “we have discovered this way works great and let’s do it this way all the time”
presumably plans are being drafted confirmed to comprehensively defend and hold these areas… placement of air defence maybe localised air and military bases etc etc.
Will Rus . set up kind if neutral zones beyond the borders…so any military vehicle …infrastructure.. MLRS .howitzers with 50 km ranges… missiles ranges can instantly be vanquished??? Presume Rus could ensure there are no Grad and Tochka remaining?

A peacekeeping mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) could eventually be deployed in the “liberated” regions of Ukraine, the head of Russia’s State Duma Defense Committee Andrey Kartapolov said Monday.
“It cannot be ruled out that peacekeepers from the CSTO countries will be needed in the liberated territories of Ukraine, as well as the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics,” Kartapolov told reporters.
After giving some thought to what is developing. Few Russian forces in LDNR, mostly LDNR doing the majority of ground fighting along with Chechens, Russia supplying heavy equipment and Spec. Ops.
I’m thinking that once the Donbas is secured, as best it can be, that would be the territorial limit of the Donbas grouping. Asking them to go further into the Ukraine, while they likely would, may not be in the cards as they have no claim to it. It is at this point I believe the RF MOD, with the majority of the demilitarization completed, will bring forward the denazification groups made up of mainly RF forces…….unless they can flip several thousand POWs to take up territorial defense positions.

This reminds one that less than 20% of their forces are being deployed in Ukraine. I have read about Ukrainian snipers but not Russian ones. I wonder if sharpshooters (snipers) are part of “army tactical shooting” or are it.

The U.S. has a negotiations policy right now (or when pres. Biden wrote his NYT article). It is based on achieving a stalemate in order to be in a stronger negotiating position. The stalemate is clearly not possible (one of the contenders is simply too strong). In order to be in a stronger or better negotiating position, the sooner the negotiations to end the conflict begin the better the position is. A delay only makes the negotiating position “weaker.”
Strange, I was always taught that the one who had control of something was the one who was the strongest, so the longer Russia continues to clean out Ukraine and controls it the stronger at the negotiating table it will be.

Why hasn’t MoD reported RF military losses since late March? Anyway the precise figure of captured Ukies (6,489) is suggesting that Zelensky downplayed real losses of POWs more than 60%. It’s suprising that no armed force organization (UAF, RAF, LPR, DPR) is reporting numbers of missing in action soldiers.

In the Teleconference Shoigu underscored, that he had taken more than 33 coal mines, 2 oil fields, 14 gas fields and 2 gold mines from Ukraine in only 2 weeks, to fulfill the Prime Commander’s demand for gobbling new value based landmasses with commodities home to Russia.
Exhausted from leading the Teleconference Shoigu ended the Statement by asking for forgiveness from the Prime Commander for the silly way he had handled the first 3 month. (sarc)

Very interesting report by Patrick Lancaster on a Russian artillery battery firing on Ukie positions. He was allowed to tag along with an artillery battery on a combat operation. This must be one of the less modern batteries. They aren’t self loaders and are hauled artillery. But it’s an interesting look at how they operate in combat:
