Attempts to distort the results of the defeat of Nazism and the decisive contribution our country made, which are continuing in Washington even during these days of universal celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory, cause utter indignation.
In this context we cannot neglect the commentary posted on the White House pages in social networks where the victory over Nazi Germany is credited exclusively to “America and Great Britain.” On the eve of this sacred holiday US officials could not garner the courage and will to even in passing pay tribute to the indisputable role and incomparable colossal losses suffered back then by the Red Army and the Soviet people for the sake of the humankind. Remarks by US official representatives turned out to be extremely restrained.
Regretfully, such an attitude is in apparent contrast with the statement made Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on April 25 on the occasion of the historic meeting of Soviet and US soldiers on the Elbe in 1945.
The document stresses the joint efforts of our nations in the fight against a common enemy.
We proceed from the assumption that real historical facts may not be ignored, regardless of feelings towards both the Soviet Union, which liberated the world from the brown plague, and our country of today. This is evidenced not only by the numerous grounded responses to the White House tweets from Russians and also from Americans who know their history and people from around the world. It is indicative that their reasonable and fact-based comments are being regularly deleted. And this is being done in the “most democratic country,” which tirelessly proclaims its “adherence to freedom of speech”!
The topic of the scared deeds of the older generation in that war must not turn into another problem in bilateral relations, which are going through hard times as it is. Russia and the US, despite disagreements, can counter ever-increasing present-day challenges on the basis of trust, mutual respect and while taking into account each other’s interests.
We intend to have a serious conversation on this issue with US officials.
For Russians, it was a Sacred War.

The situation with the epidemic is being used to anger people and to trigger a coup to remove V.V Putin by the forces installed in positions of power by the American colonial overlords. You are trying to point a finger at Putin, who is actually the only one fighting for the interests of the Russian people, using the same old myth that the leader is omnipotent and therefore responsible for everything. It just plays in their hands – be it a honest mistake or on purpose. I think you misjudge me and the epidemic in Russia. The virus is killing people. It has enormous potential to do lasting damage to the body even if others survive it. These are scientific-medical facts.
I live in that part of Russia called SoCal. Though a part of my mind and heart is always in the Russian World.
I am a big believer in verifiable facts. I also have a very strong fondness of ‘conspiracies’. So, I am always attuned to look for clues that indicate an ‘epic scam’, a plot, a scheme, a false flag, or some covert action.
So, far, I see a virus that became epidemic and now is pandemic. Science seems to be able to prove it started in bats, as all coronaviruses do. Then it jumped to a second animal from which it spilled over into humans. This is the normal, natural course of bat viruses.
It has hit Russia very hard because they allowed transport into the country, though they had shut the border with China. They also allowed free movement within the country with no testing or quarantine protocols. So, the virus got going very slowly and then erupted. For two months everyone thought Russia had escaped the virus. Not so.
Now, because of massive testing, the reported numbers of infected are very high. But the impact is not equal to the infected. The death rate is low.
How they proceed is to be discovered. Today, the nation will be opening up some aspects of normal activity.
We pray the scourge will run its course and this epidemic will end soon.

Russia is doing massive testing and thus has uncovered many cases.
So far, Belarus has been fortunate. Time will tell the story.
My two Belarusan friends tell me the situation is much worse than the numbers show. They did very few tests relatively speaking. One friend tells me the hospitals are full.
On the other hand, both are post USSR and both hate both Putin and Lukashenko.
I don’t see good choices for Belarus. They’ll be better off with Russia, but they still think the EU is better.
My friend from Belarus says that the number of infected people is limited by the small number of tests. She says the hospitals are full of patients.
Another guy in Belarus I know, says the same thing. Situation is much worse than what is reported.

Anybody who seriously studies the Second World War will notice some pretty illogical facts. For example, how did Hitler manage to finance his world war, fighting on the Western Front, the Eastern Front, the Italian Front, the North African front, in air and sea campaigns ? How did Germany industry manage to function throughout the war, bearing in mind the only raw material Germany had was coal ?
The point is that Hitler was a bankers puppet, placed into power by the bankers. Both he and Napoleon were proxy fighters, financed by the bankers. The largest armies both created were used against Russia. When the First world War was over, Wall Street started investing in German industry. Henry Ford, for example, built truck factories which provided transport for the German military. Wall Street in 1931 opened the Bank of International Settlement in Basel, close to the German border. It was this Bank which financed Hitler. And Sweden ? It stayed “neutral” in both world wars, providing German industry with iron ore, the chief raw material. And did the Western Allies prevent Sweden from selling iron ore to Germany ? The answer is no, because German industry needed to function, the chief aim being the occupation, break up and plundering of Russia, after which Germany would be invaded, the Western Allies then moving into an occupied and broken up Russia. Hitler failed, just like Napoleon. We now have NATO doing the same thing. And the EU and the White House ? What are they doing ? Doing their best to conceal what happened before and during the Second World Ear. They are also pointing their fingers at Russia and Germany so that fingers would not be pointed in the opposite direction. Simple Machiavellian tactics, a reversal of facts. These tactics are also known as Bismarckian tactics.

On what basis do Russian politicians assume that non-agreement-capable thieves and murderers should be open to reason, honesty, and empathy? Do they expect such qualities among the Ukronazis too?
Hell, Western imperialism has been vomiting this kind of garbage non-stop since at least the 1950s.
Maybe the Russians understand this quite well. It is difficult to imagine that they do not. Openly exercising and showing the self restraint and discipline that they are, even in the face of such behavior is admirable. Until very recently, held a view almost similar to yours , but currently I think it is a question of rigidity born out of too much education both academically & culturally. The modern, diplomatic space is a ‘Jungle” / Street’ dominated by the USA & its lackeys . It requires a “Streetwise’ guy (mentally agile, holding no fixed positions, skilled at flowing with the tide (Blending) , but quick to identify and put opportunity to his advantage). If I were in charge of the Russian Foreign Ministry I would identify among patriotic citizens the relevant (young, tall, good looking & must speak fluent English) “Streetwise” guys and deploy them to strategic overseas diplomatic missions (UN & major western capitals). The aim is to identify & punch holes through the western propaganda machine by re-directing their hypocritical narratives to work against them .

Any attempt to delegitimize the events of WWII that led to victory over the Nazis, at the costs of 27 million Russians, would be laughable if it weren’t so painful.
