Conclusive evidence that the USA planned the false flag invasion of the Ukraine way back in the year of 1967, under the cover of the future “War on Drugs!”

Absolutely crystal clear what is going on.
The “West” desperately, repeat desperately, needs Putin to intervene militarily. Without that, their narrative collapses. Really collapses.
Hence, we must expect a lot of civilians to die. Now.
The mask is rapidly dropping from whatever is behind Obama. I pray that Putin lets it drop.
Tymchuk’s InfoResist site is telling the huge lie — and must think Ukrainians are idiots. How would the separatists fire from Karachin hill while the Ukrainian army is also doing so without the Ukrainian army stopping them?
http://inforesist.org/slavyansk-resident-euphoria-wow-our-guys-are-in-town-has-already-gone/?lang=en
The lies are getting half-arsed.
“The should have landed paratroopers and shoot separatists like partridges. Now it is difficult.” Yes so easy. InfoResist says the Ukrainian Army could take the town in 3 hours if they weren’t worried about civilian lives. Seems they insist Strelkov’s guys have artillery they don’t have because if they had it they would hit the Ukrainian guns but they aren’t. I’m amazed at whether Ukrainians can actually buy so much contradictory nonsense or if they are just spouting whatever pops into their heads.
American Kulak
Just in case anybody thinks this isn’t a critical moment in human history, take a peek at the New York Times.
Polite armed men in green bring peace to Crimea, peace and the opportunity to vote on their future? A war crime committed by the second coming of Adolph Hitler.
Civilians are indiscriminately shelled by an American puppet? Cricket, cricket, cricket.
Something very, very big is going down. Pray for the Ukrainian people and pray that Putin does nothing whatsoever with Russian troops.
@Absolutely crystal clear…
You’re right on two levels. “whatever is behind Obama” is so important. Yes, Obama’s behavior is repellant. However, he’s only president because he was selected and allowed to win. The forces behind him are the real problem. I’ll tell you who isn’t behind Obama, most of the U.S. companies that showed up at the St. Petersburg meeting.
As for the “narrative” (which I like to call the storyline), you’re dead on target again. The story falls apart unless Russia can be blamed.
Even with all the biased press in the U.S., the vast majority of the public has no more interest in this than they did in Libya and Syria, which were heavily opposed by public opinion.
However, public opinion doesn’t matter in the unipolar U.S. democracy show. The politicians call it “leadership” when they defy the public will. We all know the truth – it’s doing their master’s bidding for pay and profit.
I’d say shame on them for doing this – the White House, Congress, the NYT and “liberal press.” But they are totally unfamiliar with that concept and emotion.
@Annon — “Absolutely crystal clear what is going on.”
Totally agree 100%.
Putin’s ‘Wee’ war — “War on Error and Exceptionalism” — is progressing well at the strategic level.
The G20 in September will be a significant systemic stress point as a culmination of a series of BRICS orientated events and trends — more than likely with an October Wall Street catharsis resulting to the collapse of (if not banking systems, as this is what the current QE $business is all about) the main stream media narrative. “D” words will dominate: ‘depression’; ‘deflation’; (creative) ‘destruction’; etc. basically what is already the un-hypnotised ‘reality’ out there for many living beyond the ‘1%’ wall of odious privilage.
Probability: 0.85 and rising.
The outrage of the ‘international community’ with regard to the loss of civilian lives [both Ukraine and Syria] is fully self-explanatory. What a bunch of losers.
I hope the losses [on both sides] remain minimal.

Just read an article by George Soros about Ukraine.
His second paragraph gives away the fact he is a globalist totalitarian.
“The EU was originally conceived to be an ever-closer association of sovereign states willing to pool a gradually increasing share of their sovereignty for the common good. It was a bold experiment in international governance and the rule of law, aimed at replacing nationalism and the use of force.”

http://pando.com/2014/05/30/war-nerd-whats-happening-in-eastern-ukraine-is-very-simple-rational-and-straightforward/
From that point on [Odessa massacre], Ukraine was no longer a unitary country. And one cannot hold the state together by using brute force for long. While it is still a unitary state as per its constitution, it is split in the minds and hearts of many of its own citizens. Kiev’s new government can claim legal sovereignty over eastern Ukraine, but for many, particularly after the Odessa massacre, its lack of legitimacy makes that claim significantly reduced. From this point on, federalization or deep autonomization of Ukraine’s eastern regions, no matter how it will be reached – by negotiations or civil war – is de facto a new reality.
Once people, whatever their reasons for doing so, step on the pathway of creating norms by making “facts legalized”, a new revolutionary logic – mostly destructive but sometimes politically and socially un-avoidable – takes the upper hand over codified norms.

My house has been praying extra for the peace and safety of all in Slavyansk since your last report. Hopefully the Hand of God continues to stay the actions of those men who would push the Grad launch button, sowing doubts in their mind and inspiring a love for their fellow countrymen that prevents this action from ever occurring.

Conspiracy
I already reported that after the elections Poroshenko met with strange American delegation headed by the Director of the National Service of covert operations Frank Archibald , which included a former CIA chief in Ukraine Jeffrey Egan , the current – Raymond Mark Davidson , Mark Buggy ( CIA , Istanbul) Andrzej Derlatka , a CIA agent in the Polish intelligence Agency , CIA, and member of CIA Kevin Duffin who working as senior vice president of the insurance company Brower .
Poroshenko and Archibald signed (as they say in Odessa , you’ll laugh ) paper entitled , no more no less , as ” an agreement on military cooperation between the U.S. and Ukraine.”
Strange part of the U.S. delegation is explained by the fact that the professional diplomats would not understand at all what it was about, and by the fact that the U.S. Congress would not authorize the usual military cooperation agreement which involves sending military trainers and direct participation of American troops in the armed conflict in Ukraine.
However, the National Service of covert operations includes service operations paramilitary operations. Thus the CIA bypass Congress may exercise full international cooperation in the military industry. Except that instead of the instructors in the form of the U.S. armed forces taking direct part in hostilities – mercenaries of private military companies will be involved.
Now it’s official, though a semi-secret (or at least , will not be published), bypassing normal (legitimate and well-controlled by Congress) ways to finance military operations in Ukraine it will be done through channels such as private insurance company Brower, belonging to the CIA.

Has anybody been reading Mark Ames? I find his recent analysis to be pretty convincing:
http://pando.com/2014/05/14/sorry-america-the-ukraine-isnt-all-about-you/
(as is most of his past writing, back when he used to live in Russia)
It’s like a bridge between the rhetoric and ideas of the two sides, and pokes some holes in the myths of both of them.
Interesting documentary about fascism, from the creators of “Debtocracy” and “Catastroika”
( also essential documentaries to understand the looting and “shock dctrine” in Greece and in South Europe ).
Although the article is in Spanish, the film may be subtitled in several languages.
Hope you are interested.
Kind regards and good weekend.
Blessings for resistants and people in the Donbass.

No, I’m not a marxist but the article has some good material.
Let me make a little personal note to all here who have read the many comments calling President Putin weak or letting his fellow Russians down by not protecting those in eastern parts of what was once Ukraine. Those posts you are reading are simply paid for propaganda to push as many as possible into thinking this way to get public support into forcing Russia to do something that not in the best interest of Russia or Ukraine. That being to use force to solve this issue. That is exactly what the western powers want and that is the main reason behind what we are seeing happen to Ukraine. Many, many more will die if this leads to Russia using force so please do not get fooled by these paid for stooges.
Crossvader made a comment about this in the previous thread and he was spot on. I most like the part “Putin will let locals and Russian volunteers do all the dirty work. This way Novorossia’s eventual freedom will taste so much sweeter. And Novorossians will be able to be proud of themselves.“. This may seem trivial to some, but believe me this is one of the most important aspects needed for the future of this region. Having is nothing without the personal pride of earning and accomplishment. This is one of the greatest gifts God have given to people to earn.
Bottom line is the best thing Russia can do for Ukraine and the rest of the world is break the back of those who finance this crap. Not go off half cocked and mad and drop some bombs. That is what those who can’t think do. No, Russia needs to keep doing exactly what it is doing. It is doing what it needs to for the future of us all so this can’t happen again and that is… Kill the dollar!
Another thing these paid stooges keep using is the S300 deal with Iran. Listen, non of you know exactly what was agreed to. What was earned for Iran. What oil was allowed to move to what customer. What other sanctions were not put in place. etc. Iran is in much better shape today due to that deal that if they had a few missiles which would have changed little in Irans ability to protect itself. The S300 is an air defense system, not just a missile. I taking that system on would have required a major rework of their entire air defense network which would have set them back years and cost way too much before it would have been an effective deterrent. So please do a bit of research before repeating that same old ignorant misdirection.

Ames’ article was an excellent read.
Putin has tried very hard to dissociate himself from international violence. He was the peacemaker in Syria (after the fact, when Obama was stymied by 30 British backbenchers), he annexed Crimea without firing a shot, and now he is watching passively as goons and freaks shell their own countrymen in Ukraine.
If we take the position that the goon show in Ukraine is an attack on Russia proper, then his restraint is amazing.
And who is noticing? Well, look at the results of the European elections. People are noticing.
The only problem is that anti-Putin propaganda in the U.S. has no opposition. But as Anonymous 11:12 points out, the American people do not want more military adventures.
The status quo is a disaster for the “West”.
One aspect of Russia’s not committing overtly in Donbass may be the increasing references of working class solidarity there. Announced nationalizations, mentions of socialism, the Red Army and such may be giving the oligarchs of Russia pause. They know where their fortunes came from….
It seems to me that the long term strategy at least for the US and its puppets, is to deliver to the world its human version of the apocalypse. The political entities must have their “backs against the wall” or they might be inclined to adequately explain themselves and their MO.
Even Brzezinski implored Obama to explain his policies in the Ukraine, but except for the Orwellian interpretation of reality dutifully performed by the MSM, I think Obama and his backers must think of Brzezinski as a tiresome old school bore. Yes there is a strategic importance to the region, but, they are too much in a hurry for strategic importance, what the oligarchy wants, as Aristotle pointed out many years ago, is power and control. No government and their business and billionaire class truly cares by what means.’
But power and control are more or less of an illusion to a degree, depending on how many you can convince of the reality of OZ.
As far as the “apocalypse” being delivered to the populations of the earth, some countries have jumped on board with this austerity program, and the policies required to enforce it. If they’ve played never ending austerity through to a logical conclusion in their obviously very intelligent “think tanks,” there will be “winners” and “losers.” The growth of populations and the salvation f the earth will be preserved because those of us whose livelihoods are distributed by the will of our political overseers, won’t be able to afford families.
Other countries are being systematically reduced to rubble and a condition of wild packs of dogs, every person for themselves, everyone encouraged to defend their own individual agenda. In fact our educational system in the US seems to be operating under the same premises in terms of keeping us all in the dark where we perceive that only our own preservation really matters.
If I were a multibillionaire and owned a large percentage of the earth, I might be tempted to deceive and corrupt myself with my own ignorance as well, never having truly experienced the effects of my own narrow mindedness, because “God” has made me exceptional obviously. There’s no other explanation for it. The threat to the preservation of my billionaire circumstances probably doesn’t come from some hobbled country setting off a few nuclear devices in my home town, it probably comes from the ideologies behind any kind of opposition to me. Ideologies which will lead to my demise by revolutions, by some other system of political control which won’t work any better than the one I own, as the think tanks have shown me that history has revealed. Being a part owner of the world, I would need to prevent that at all cost.
So, my back is against the wall and I’m damned if I do, damned if I don’t. I need to reduce the population to keep the same destructive profit making policies in place, preserve the same model of oil and industrial related businesses that allow me the god given right to own the earth to myself, or lose everything in some sort of conflagration and the ensuing pandemonium. It’s a controlled burn.
Every ruling government has to be “on board” with this plan, or else the god given apocalypse, which no one has the patience waiting for, which never seems to arrive like Godot, will come in the form of ecological calamity beyond anyone’s control. And it currently appears that no God has the intention of saving us from that, or its a roll of the dice as to who will survive it. Every living being can recite from some scripture as to why it or other defending the notion of why “God” has determined it should be her or him. We all believe we are chosen, or we’re dead, or we’re a lunatic.
The brevity of Juan’s message says much. I join Nora in prayers and blessings, extended to all good people of Ukraine.
O Lord, save Thy people and bless Thy inheritance.
Special prayers also for all the disinherited ones in refugee camps all around the world, the homeless, the victims of oligarchic design everywhere on this planet.

Ukrainians had the same Average Yearly Earnings as Belarus and Russia in the Soviet Union, and today Ukraine’s Average Yearly Earnings are 7,500 Dollars; whereas, for Belarus it is 16,000 Dollars, and for Russia it is 22,000 Dollars.
America has been Secretly Bribing Ukrainian Puppets, who were then used to create the Illegal and Immoral Coup in Ukraine, and this is why Ukraine is poor today.
There is one thing for Petro Poroshenko President Elect or the Puppet Select to do under the Ukrainian Constitution, and that is for himself and for the other Coup Leaders to Arrange for themselves to be Charged with Treason in order to be obedient to what they claim is Ukraine’s Supreme Law, and which they claim that Ukraine’s Constitution Defines Ukraine’s Territorial Integrity.
Since Petro Poroshenko and the Other Criminals will not obey Ukraine’s Constitution which they Claim is the Supreme Law of Ukraine, and which they Claim Defines Ukraine’s Territorial Integrity, then they have No right to ask others to obey Ukraine’s Non Existent Constitution, except if they wish to Invoke the Right of a Dictator, or the Right of Subservience as a Puppet to be a Nazi for the Chocolate King of the European Union, who is Barack Obama, who knows that in certain parts of Europe, even after WW 2, that Nazism is as Sweet as Chocolate.
Ukraine does not have a Constitution, and Ukraine does not have any Territorial Integrity, until a New Constitution can be Negotiated, because the Ukrainian Constitution has been Suspended, and as a Direct Consequence Ukraine’s Territorial Integrity has also been Suspended, and this why Oblasts of Ukraine have the Legal Right to Vote for Independence, as Donetsk and Luhansk have done, because they do not want to live in a Territory without a Constitution and without any Territorial Integrity.
We know that Petro Poroshenko is a Billionaire, and that he is a Selected Puppet by America, and America who is the Dictator of the European Union is an Ally to Terrorists at http://www.abna.ir/english/service/middle-east-west-asia/archive/2014/05/04/606538/story.html .
Petro Poroshenko is also called the Chocolate King, and the word here is King rather than Public Servant, because a King is Unaccountable to their Subjects.
Petro Poroshenko is a Chocolate Puppet, but the Real Chocolate King and Dictator of Ukraine is the chocolate coloured Barack Obama, who is also the Chocolate King and Dictator of the European Union.
There could be some People who might wonder if anyone on their way to becoming a Billionaire, might have committed some Crime to make that Money, or because of their Wealth, that they succumbed to some temptation that would put them in jail, because if America was conducting the Trial, then America can even bring False Charges and Bribe False Witnesses to further their Evil Ambitions and to Deny People their Human Rights to Free Speech and a Free Press at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange .
These People are wondering if their was Secret Tax Avoidance, or something worse than the charges relating to minors that have seen former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi attend Court at http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/nov/29/silvio-berlusconi-paid-witnesses-says-court .
America has been Spying on Most of the World for a Long Time, and that America knows People’s Secrets, and America can make People say and do things against their own Will, because Humans have their weak and unguarded moments, and America has done this with gaining Private Information by means of Global Spying at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Snowden .
Ukraine may be able to be one Country, if there is a Federalist and Decentralized Constitution, which also includes a Militarily Neutral Position, and the New Ukrainian Constitution could have a pardon for All former and current Ukrainian Politicians and High Public Officials.
All Honest and Decent People wish All Ukrainians of Any Ethnicity, the Very Best, and this is why they hope that the situation improves for Ukraine.
There could be People who think that the Democrats in Congress might Vote to Impeach President Barack Obama over Ukrainegate as a way to gain Votes in the midterm Elections, and this is better understood after watching a Video on GTRV Website, and it is Titled: Full Length Documentary: Propaganda and the Ukraine Crisis at http://www.globalresearch.ca/gtrv-full-length-documentarypropaganda-and-the-ukraine-crisis/5383677 .
The Democrats in Congress will not have the Votes in Congress to Impeach the President, and the Republicans may not Vote in favor of Impeaching the President, because of their Campaign Donors, and because the Republicans are also Guilty of Ukrainegate, and because they may think that the Democrats will benefit from it at the midterm Elections.
The Democrats have a Majority in the Senate, and so even if the Congress Votes to Impeach the President, then the Senate will not convict the President, just like the Democrat Senate Majority did not convict former President Clinton, after he was impeached by Congress.
It would only be used by the Democrats to show that they are the Party of Public Accountability and Democracy, because they want to improve their position, especially in the Congress at the midterm Elections.
The Democrats want to control both Houses of Congress coming up to the 2016 Presidential Election, where they want their Candidate to become President, and to have control of both Houses of Congress at the same time.
Hillary Clinton does not want Vice President Joe Biden to become President, because she might want to run for President in 2016, because if Biden is President, then it would be awkward to run in the Primaries against an Incumbent President of your own Political Party, and so the Clintons and the Democrats will not allow the Senate to convict Barack Obama.
I do not think that there will be a Majority in the Congress to Impeach the President, but Ukrainegate may be in the News, and Democrats will portray themselves as the Party of Public Accountability and Democracy for America, and after the midterm Elections, Ukrainegate would not be an issue, and this could be the thinking of some People.
It could be that Vice President Joe Biden might be satisfied with being President for over a year, if President Barack Obama is Convicted by the Senate after being Impeached by the Congress.
It could be that Vice President Joe Biden may give assurances to Hillary Clinton that he will not seek to contest the Presidential Election, if he becomes President.
Presidential Election Campaigns are expensive, and it is more than likely that Vice President Joe Biden will not be able to raise the money to run for President.
It could be that President Obama may agree to being Impeached, to gain Votes for the Democrats, so that Obama can blame the Republicans who would be said to have pressured and mislead the allegedly recently informed and contrite President.
If the Acting is Good, and if there is a Deceptive Script, then the American Voters could be ‘blackmailed’ or even persuaded into Voting for the Democrats, and Obama will not be Convicted by the Senate even if he is Impeached by the Congress at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_in_the_United_States .
We know that the Democrats want to improve their position in both Houses of Congress at the American midterm Elections.

Thanks, Anonymous, for the double posting to War Nerd.
But what is your point?
Russia did not forcibly annex Crimea, which fell into its lap. Russia did not urge the East to rise up, as Bush urged Iraq’s Shia and Kurds to rise up in 1991. Russia does not need to create another low-level insurgency on its borders, like Kashmir, when NATO has supplied more than enough already.
Russia, as always, harks back to the Peace of Westphalia. You can’t impose one solution on a divided country. He who tries to take all is the ultimate loser. Russia wants a federal arrangement, cuius regio eius religio (to each his own), so the different communities can feel secure from their enemies.
At the moment, the chances seem increasingly dim. If Russians can only find security within Russia’s borders, then the east will eventually find its way into Russia. But that is a far cry from a Great Power deliberately stoking up the flames within limits congenial only to itself.
War Nerd (like Ames) starts off arguing for this, and ends by rejecting it. E thinks this is a “bridge”; others might call it a muddle.
Patience is the name of the game. The international economic system still has some stability, but even so, the US counter intelligence agency will run on and on until stopped by its people. 2015 will show some stress and the system will be in full disarray by the time of the 2016 elections which will be a pivotal point in the history of the US. * they will try to hide this like they did the last time in 2008. So plant your “victory gardens”, keep up with the prayers and send some extra cash to your cousins in the Ukraine. It is going to seem like a long haul.
I live and work between Ukraine and France. I have to confess today how much many of my Ukr friends have lost all sense of “courage” to read, hear, or see any news from this war. They even don’t know if a war is running in Ukr. They are immunise against any stream of “truth”. There is no space for doubt, no space for any idea of ” something behind the Tv screen”. In Kiev, many are celebrating some end of school feast, ready for summer, everyone is congratulating as nothing is happening in the country. They are singing, laughing with their kids, and.. from the other side of the country, kids are traumatise, escaping from bombs, leaving parents, home and hiding in different camps.
How to stay human? How to stay connected to this humanity, and feel part of this world, when you have lost the contact with the human soul?
I try to share or speak, they become agressive and say to me ” where do you have this info? Russian propaganda? don’t you see everything is safe in Kiev? don’t you see there is no Fascist in Kiev? can you see that life is as it was a year ago? people happy and having projects?”
No.. I can’t see it…..
I lost hope that people can see an other reality and have courage to investigate and think by themselves.
This is not a war.
This is a genocide.
Never mind that people are actually dying in E. Ukraine, because it’s OMG HOMOPHOBIA!!!!11111
http://www.buzzfeed.com/susiearmitage/the-chaos-in-east-ukraine-is-hitting-lgbt-people-particularl
I concur with Lostinukr – Those in Kiev are desperate to feel a sense of normality and anti-Russian sentiment is very common. Kiev is the NYC of Ukraine – residents generally feel superior to those living elsewhere considering those in the east dull and backward and people from western Ukraine as stupid villagers (generalizations of course). That said life in Kiev is not so easy for working class folks – prices for necessities were already high and have continued to increase. Summer approaches so the rise in gas prices has not affected people yet, but it will. In general people expect government officials to be corrupt and the change of one corrupt oligarch for another is the expected result of any election. Fist fights in the Rada, a common occurrence, just added to the sense that politicians are fools and petty thugs – a subject for humor.
It will be interesting to see how things go in Crimea – it was a very popular destination for Ukrainian tourists, who made up the vast majority of visitors, and for summer camp for children. Russian tourists were considered rude and less desirable clients. Travel to Odessa and the Azov Sea will likely take up the void – depending on how the war develops. A defection of Odessa would be a crippling blow to Kiev.
So far it seems that Kiev authorities have been able to move equipment to the east but are not able to mount a full attack because of dissension in the ranks – lack of trained officers and enlisted willing to carry out such orders. Seems they have been trying to cull the ranks of the unwilling and assemble sufficient forces willing to attack. JMO

Poroshenko asked the EU to postpone the signing of the second part of the Association Agreement with the EU. According to him, now it is necessary to stabilize the situation in the country.
Poroshenko appealed to the leadership of the EU to postpone the signing of the second part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU indefinitely. Agreement was to be signed on June 27. A similar decision Viktor Yanukovych at the end of last year the opposition used as a pretext for a coup. Your offer newly elected Ukrainian president argued the need to stabilize the situation in the country. Now Kiev is experiencing an acute shortage of budget, signing economic agreements of the experts associated with high risks.

Also,
People self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Donetsk (DNR) “is not interested in the question of federalization” of part of Ukraine, the head of the interim government DNI Dennis Pushilin.
“If in the beginning of the confrontation addressed the issue of federalization, but now very few people dare to say that the People’s Republic of Donetsk can be a part of Ukraine, on any rights. This is unacceptable to the people,” – said Pushilin.
He stressed that the occurrence of the DNI in the Ukraine can be dangerous for Ukrainians. “We are not interested in the issue of federalization within Ukraine. Here is a huge geopolitical trap … In signing the economic part of the agreement with the EU we lose all sense of economic relations with the countries of the Customs Union.’s Trap into which we could get there, but now we do intentionally not allow “- said Pushilin.
Head of government DNR also voiced some tasks assigned to the leadership of the republic.
“We set ourselves the task of improving the welfare of the population, a tough fight against corruption ban shale gas – there is enough information about the harm that it can bring common people” – said Pushilin.

Lostinukr Serguey @14-14 31 May 14.
What you describe is quite normal in war including the differentiation between classes.
From your emphasis I surmise that your experience is primarily Kiev based with those of the middling sort. I apologise if I am mistaken in this.
In times of stress most people, especially intellectuals, discount complexity and process, taking comfort in the observable, the simple and the now.
A useful metaphor to use in war is that of an avalanche – when is an avalanche an avalanche?
Although I don’t have access to scientifically based current surveys, Kiev accents tend to ruffle feathers in both Eastern and Western Ukraine – even from ticket inspectors on buses.
This was factored into the strategy for Maidan and Yanukovich’s villa becoming a tourist must see.
The “provincials” tend to resent Kiev and those who operate there –
one of the probable motivations for the disaffected from Chernovtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Mukachevo, and Ternopil etc.
There is schadenfreude in play in addition to opportunities for bathos, thereby affording additional opportunities for makin whoopee.
Why be dismayed – remember Aeschylus.

Do you know anything about that website? Because if this is legit — and it sure seems to be — then:
a) Putin has known this probably since it happened;
b) it has obviously been a large part of his decision-making process;
c) he has chosen to make it public now;
d) it is absolutely an impeachable offense.
Unfortunately, however, e) Biden is no improvement and Boehner could be worse.

That’s an interesting scenario but I can’t imagine the Dems impeaching Obama: not only are they in this up to their eyeballs, but they’d lose the Black vote forever. Also too, spinelessness.

“How to stay human? How to stay connected to this humanity, and feel part of this world, when you have lost the contact with the human soul?”
We all need to ponder this. I can’t even come up with a trite answer. The only thing that comes to mind, ironically enough, is a Jacques Brel song, Bruxelles, about the situation in Europe immediately prior to WWI: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x30azk_jacques-brel-brussels-english-subti_music (I know you don’t need the subtitles but I’m figuring other people might.) His meaning was not lost on his European viewers but the English version, in Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, ends a bit differently so that Americans can “get it” “A million guns got loaded, and WWI exploded”. But it’s the same thing: carrying on mindlessly on the brink of disaster.
@ Paul
May I suggest to be a bit more careful about calling names regarding people who have a (partially) different point of view?
After all, it really came as some surprise to me to discover I am a paid stooge, above all about the “paid” part.
Not that I am a supporter of a Russian open intervention now (I did support an open and awing intervention two days after the coup), because by then the situation is such a mess that every calculation could easily turn in a miscalculation, but I disagree on many points about the last Saker’s analysis.
First of all, he’s right about the new “president”, he’s a whore in quintessence! But he fails to realize that he’s a whore already bought and paid for, and his pimps are of the worst kind: they kill their whore if they defect, and he knows that!
About Putin, I have a problem above all for some words he did state at the beginning of this tragedy. I can sum them up this way: “Do not dare to start shooting civilians!”.
Well, we are north of one thousands civilian deaths now, old, women and children included, many of them assassinated in a most horrible and coward way (at Odessa e Mariupol), with residential objectives by then constantly shelled.
Words have a meaning and some people could count on it, only to find themselves in a pot of hot water and no sight of the promised (that’s the meaning of his words) helping hand.
If Putin’s words have no meaning, well, I used to think there was a difference between the two sides.
(continues)
Realpolitik is very good, but if you lose the (moral) upper hand you are going to be transformed in a mere “antithesis”, and the synthesis will always be more of the same. It’s irrelevant that you realize this or not, that will be the outcome!
What the D-Empire wants is not a Russian intervention, but chaos and utter misery and hatred and constant threats in Russia courtyard. They have already achieved that.
At this point, an overt Russian intervention is not going to stabilize the situation (as it would have if made in the immediate days after the coup), but what about some SERIOUS help to the resistance. I mean, they do not even have some piece of artillery to clean cities outskirt of murderous thugs with heavy guns who routinely shell kindergartens and mental hospitals and civilian houses. What about some underground operations to wipe completely out all of Ukrainian border posts in Novorossija? What about getting finally serious? I remind everybody that the other side enjoy a full support from the Thug in Chief, full, in full light and with no reservations about the use of that support (not even in the case of strangling pregnant women!). There’s no money in Ukraine for anything BUT oligarchs pockets, Biden’s son AND hired mercenaries with very sophisticated stuff to kill people in the East.
I think it’s unfair to compare the coolness of Donetsk and Lugansk folks with the hotness of Crimean. Novorossija has not a military base with 16,000 Russians soldiers and hundreds of Spetsnaz pouring in regularly.
Thugs are just thugs, never to be real fighters, but thugs are enough when are fully supported with arms and money by foreign powers and the other side has nothing but good will.
Kill the dollar! Of course, that’s the real strategic goal, but it will take years if not decades to achieve that, make no mistake!
In the meanwhile, even a Syria-light (in the case the Junta is not able to completely smash the resistance) would be a catastrophe for Russia and Orthodoxy (the real target, again, make no mistake!).
When I say the Junta (or the chocolate guy), you have to understand US and their satrapies. Thugs will never run out of gun and ammo, be sure, even if all around Ukrainians will be starving to death, and differently from Syria the thugs are officially in charge here.
Also differently from Syria, Russia shares a very long border with Syria-reloaded, so she better start to getting damned serious. The common border in this case helps!
And please stop worrying about bad press and the propaganda. Russia will not get any different treatment, no matter what she does (apart from consigning the Kremlin’s keys to the progeny of the devil).
They have been able to demonize Putin for putting sexual depravity out of the children’s reach, and you worry about them? Again, GET SERIOUS! It’s high time!
I really find sickening this constant concern about the sensibilities of murderers, whores and liars.
And about the common people in the West, who could and wanted to understand has understood.
Those who have still not understood, probably will never do or they just don’t give a damn. They just sigh and turn on the TV, comfortably numb in their path to the outer darkness.
It’s not a good policy to just look at the house burning and doing nothing (serious) because you are too busy explaining to the arsonists that it’s a good thing to extinguish the fire.
In any case, you can very well do the latter while keeping on doing the former. You are Russia, after all, and you have friends.
To Maedros at 18:07:
Thank you for your well-stated comment. It doesn’t disturb me that you have different views from mine, and I am very much unsure which of us has the correct one. We need to examine all sides, and your view is very much not ‘get in there and get it over with’ but a good presentation of the difficult line to walk in this matter.
From a distance and with the paucity of information we in the US are privy to, there’s little advice we can sagely give, little help to the cause of minimal loss of life and property that you very obviously hold in common with all wellwishers for Ukraine. This you said admirably, though I will take issue with the following it a little bit:
“… the common people in the West, who could and wanted to understand has understood.
Those who have still not understood, probably will never do or they just don’t give a damn. They just sigh and turn on the TV, comfortably numb in their path to the outer darkness.”
We, the common people in the West, are under a subtle sort of duress that has been systematically applied since 9/11 (and no, I don’t want to discuss 9/11 itself) but orchestrated long before that. We are, indeed, the 99% as was claimed during Occupy, and that we do not rise up is much more an indictment of the system put in place against us than of us as individuals or groups.
We are not comfortably numb, even if we do sometimes at the end of a wearily trying day turn on the tv to escape reality and rest our minds a bit. Increasingly we know reality, even we who do not yet know what we can effectively do to oppose it.
As Putin waited while he had less universal power – he waited under the thumb of those who had wrecked his country – for a time when opposition could begin to happen – so the 99.9% of the US are waiting now. Didn’t his play to stymie the attack on Syria take place breathtakingly fast? So it will be with us. There’s a Yankee saying: ‘Wait till you see the whites of their eyes.’ Pardon me for sounding bellicose, but we are waiting.
Let the .01% shift uneasily on their pillows. Crashes happen quickly – when did a crash take two years? Waiting for the right moment is what takes time and patience.
Thank you, well spoken indeed.
@ Paul,
Q: Those posts you are reading are simply paid for propaganda to push as many as possible into thinking this way to get public support into forcing Russia to do something that not in the best interest of Russia or Ukraine.
R: Give me next week’s winning Powerball numbers and I’ll consider your thoughts to be true. If not, I’ll have no option but to see your word for what they really are; your personal opinion.
You know what they say about that…
Is there any difference between what’s happening to the population of East Ukraine and the Palestinian population?
Can anyone confirm whether the following is true [or not]; According to the popular Russian television channel Russia-1, Poroshenko’s father was a Jew named Alexei Valtsman from the Odessa region who in 1956 took on the last name of his wife, Yevgenya Poroshenko. The Jewish Daily Forward.
@ Juliania
It looks like I was not able to express myself about the point you rise.
From the very fact that you are here and from what you write, it’s pretty clear that you have understood.
Therefore, that particular remark of mine does not concern you at all, nor concern any people who do not “do something”…
There’s very little that common folks like us can do, as I have already stated elsewhere, apart from stating the truth, standing by the truth and relentlessly denouncing the evil and the lies (and even this is becoming increasingly dangerous in Western Demonocracies).
Take the last European elections, for example. Somewhat encouraging, you could say, and I would agree.
But after all, the great majority did still vote for the incumbent Right (Thesis) and Left (Antithesis) hands of the devil; you can guess what the synthesis will be.
Anti EU parties did get a very good result, it’s true, but you will get fifteen opinions out of ten of them, not even considering that a few of those parties are just undercover entities of the same master who owns incumbent Right and Left (as Golden Dawn and, I suspect, Wilders’ party in Holland).
Nothing will change, believe me. Nothing real, at least.
My statement did refer to all the people who simply are not able to even understand the reality, wandering in a Truman show, without a clue about themselves and the others, too muzzy by centuries of propaganda and indoctrination, too busy jumping all over the places to keep paying for things they don’t really need and for the lifestyle of their owners, too afraid to open their eyes and face the truth, too spoiled to give a damn about other people or too comfortable in the crumbs falling from the golden calf to desire to look inside the whited sepulcher and see what they KNOW very well is there: unspeakable sufferings, injustices and excruciating deaths of billions of people.
I just meant to state the obvious: Russia has not the luxury to wait for the conversion of all these people, nor to wait until we common folks reach the critical mass to make a change (I doubt we’ll ever do, unless we all put up the armor of God, and I simply don’t think that is possible). A change for the right path, that is; of changes which have ended up on the same devilish path is full the history of mankind!
I hope I was clear now.
one of the major weakness in Russian polity seems to be lethargic and fateful belief that everything will turn out well without making any effort. in other words Russian seem to be not able to make fate for themselves but simply run with whatever fate delivers to them
this passivity is of serious character deficit and that explain why russian had to suffer from 27 million dead in second world war (started by English race to make Germany fight Russia) and so many in Napoleonic war because they were too naive to not prepare for and avoid those wars or at least win them easily.

> Six ‘militiamen’ killed in attempt to collect bodies at Donetsk airport – self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic PM (Interfax, 14:58)
I do not know the scene details and I do not know Donietsk.
But I know one thing.
Why the morons did not apply smoke screens (invent them if you do not have specialized machines) to blind the snipers and take the bodies?
We all know that the Direct Consequences of the Criminal Actions of the Coup Leaders who are the Puppets of Foreigners, rather than the Servants of their People is Responsible for Ukraine having No Constitution, and No Territorial Integrity.
The Honest and Decent Citizens of Crimea found themselves as the Victims of this situation, which was Engineered by Anti Democratic Nazi America, and so they pursued what any Peace Loving and Democracy Loving People would do under those Circumstances, and they began to Defend Themselves from Nazis, and they Voted in a Referendum to have Constitutional and Democratic Conditions and Circumstances.
The Terrorists in Kiev are the Real Separatists in Ukraine, because they have Separated Themselves from Ukraine’s Constitution, and from Ukraine’s Territorial Integrity, but Most Importantly, these Puppets and Traitors have Separated Themselves from the Non Nazi Ukrainian People, because they were promised by Nazi America that they would have a Nazi Ukraine.
Those who want to have a Constitutional Democracy and Territorial Integrity are being Falsely Accused as terrorists and separatists, by the Puppets in Kiev, because the Unprincipled Wrongly and Maliciously Accuse other of what they themselves are Guilty of, and this can be seen by watching the the Unbiased and Factual Interview of Experts, and the Video is Titled: CrossTalk: Bleeding Ukraine at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZqCm7pyZCY .
There could be some People who might wonder if anyone on their way to becoming Someone in the European Union, might have committed some Crime to make that Money, or because of their Wealth, that they succumbed to some temptation that would put them in jail, because if America was conducting the Trial, then America can even bring False Charges and Bribe False Witnesses to further their Evil Ambitions and to Deny People their Human Rights to Free Speech and a Free Press at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange .
We All know that America has been Spying on Most of the World for a Long Time, and that America knows People’s Secrets, and America can make People say and do things against their own Will, because Humans have their weak and unguarded moments, and America has done this with gaining Private Information by means of Global Spying at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Snowden .
The European Commissioner says that South Stream to Russia’s Stance on Ukraine, and this Could be an Order from Nazi America, because of American Global Spying, but we know that even after WW 2, that Nazism is as Sweet as Chocolate in some parts of Europe as the Chocolate King in Ukraine knows at http://www.novinite.com/articles/161011/EU+Commissioner+Ties+South+Stream+to+Russia's+Stance+on+Ukraine .
Even if Russia does recognize this Evil Junta in Kiev in a few days, then it is good that the Nazis are seen to have pressured Russia into this, because the People will understand, and the Unemployed of Europe will see that the Nazis of Europe want a Nazi Russia.
These Nazis will Never be able to Decieve the People of Ukraine, and All of this would say more of the European Union, than it would of Russia, and we must Sympathize with the Puppets of America, because we know that a few People are working to try to bring Democracy to the European Union.
The Non Nazi People of Ukraine know that the Constitution of Ukraine has been Suspended, and that the Territorial Integrity of Ukraine has been been Suspended, and they are seeking to obtain a Constitutional Democracy.
