And just where is the United States located – in reference to the Mediterranean? Last I heard, er. last I taught, the US of A is located thousands of miles from the Mediterranean. Indeed, the US of A is not situated in Europe, while much of Russia is. St Petersburg, Stalingrad-er Volgograd, Moscow, and dozens of other major Russian cities, are located – right in Europe.
But, you all knew that. Sadly, most Americans do not -actually- know that.
By the way, anyone have any water for California?
Back to the topic, is the Mediterranean located in the North Atlantic (get it? Treaty Organization area)?
Oh! imperialism! One world Empire! Got it!!!
funny comment Peter…
@Peter J. Antonsen,
Excellent post, as usual Peter.
LOL @ “By the way, anyone have any water for California?”.

Yes, Peter. The water plan has been on the shelf for 55 years, about a half an hour from where I am. It was called NAWAPA for North American Water and Power Alliance. Designed at Parsons Engineering Corporation headquartered in Pasadena. 10% of the runoff from Alaska, British Columbia and Washington State diverted south through the Rocky Mountain trench not only suffices for California but the entire Southwest, Northern Mexico AND enough left over to replenish the Ogallala Aquifer under the Nebraska and other states of the Great Plains which is about pumped dry by now.
NAWAPA was a casualty of Nov 22, 1963. JFK was all for it 100%.
SO instead, under the new paradigm of Vietnam, MK Ultra (free LSD on college campuses) and defining “progress” as a dirty word, NAWAPA was never built. NAWAPA II could be though, after the SHTF and the PONZI scheme is in the dust bin of history.
Does and will Russia and China do trade in the Mediterranean and have pipelines in the vicinity — ‘national interests’? Would they not have interest in protecting this from attacks — perhaps by terrorists?
The US is ridiculous!
In the last minutes of the fall of this world mess somebody is starting to use scare tactics

Great job on the subtitles. Thank you.
The US claims because it has its west coast shore lapped by Pacific waves, it is a Western Pacific hegemon with the right to control all naval and vessel passage right up to China’s east coast.
The arrogance game is being called out. Russian and Chinese naval power is growing and the US is losing all credibility as it is the outsider stirring trouble for ASEAN countries and its “allies” like South Korea whose stake is with China not Japan or Philippines or the US.
The era of US Empire is coming to a conclusion.
The response from the hegemonic and ideological stakeholders in Washington is to spread chaos and terror wars, destabilizations and attempts at regime change.
The window of opportunity for the US to hold power over the globe has closed. All that is left is conflict-making. It will be a rough decade ahead. The US really is very good at blowing things to hell.
Video: More like “flip the bird” especially with the last line of a very effective video.
The Med was a good choice for these maneuvers. :D
Not as good as the Gulf of Mexico off Cuba’s coast would be.

;D
Perhaps in the winter, after the hurricane season has passed…
Pity they were not there when Israel decided to do some piracy last week.
Standing ovation!!!
Profitable for everyone?
But…
But…
But…
How about… us/US… the 0.1%
Shiver…
Feeling lonely, Precious?
I do not understand why Russia and China did not conduct a military pact in NATO molds. If this pact was made it would simply be the end of the prospect of a new World War, for not even the yankees would be crazy enough to foment a war against these two giants.
Although I do not know to what extent we can rely on Chinese politics …
