Please provide a transcript. I believe there automated services that produce serviceable transcripts.
I read much faster than they can speak, and I want to skip stuff I’m not interested in. 1 hour 26 minutes is just too much time.
Sounds like a personal problem, to me.
I agree about written transcripts that can be printed out. Videos can all too easily be deplatformed, but a transcript is only a copy/paste away from being recalled and republished.
Click on the Watch on Youtube icon, then on the “…” and show transcript. Easy to save as a file then…

Couldn’t agree more with your suggestion.
For YouTube videos, you can download the “subtitle” of videos (but only if they exist in the first place) using third-party services. One such resource is https://www.downloadyoutubesubtitles.com/. You can also search for other providers of similar service.
There is another alternative for YouTube videos. You can change the “Playback speed” under settings. I typically change it to 1.25, and sometimes to 1.5 for slow speakers.

I think everybody have the same problem as you, we dont have endless time for divers chatting even from vip professionals.
But its quite easy done by jumping each 10 minutes and hear 5 seconds if something sounds interesting.

Seconded. 20min+ video w no transcript gets a complete skip. Already watch all vids at 1.75x w subtitles, and not enough time for that. Teen intern from church group, contribute 5 min for good of humanity? Obviously a nice-to-have, not a must-have, but still…pretty please…..

The “Neo-Cons” that Pepe is referring to include some in the US Financial Structure which is directly tied to Big Media Barons, along with those immersed, in The State Department, Foreign Relations, The Military & Defense and many huge “think tanks; aka, The Brookings Institute.
In those spheres you come across the likes of people like: Victoria Nuland, D. Frum, Bill Kristol, Victoria’s husband Robert Khagan, and oh, so many others. Most of them are Jewish. Victoria Nuland has an especial hatred towards Russia/Putin, whose grandfather was an unhinged, vicious hater of anything Russian.

Post dollar world? The key question is when.
Right now, a dollar holder can go buy anything from real estate to corporate equity to mined metals. Zone B dutifully protects oligarch friendly IP law and continues to do business with criminal banksters. And so on.
And it’s not just stuff from within the empire, either. You can get a Chinese panda or a South African krugerrand (ie, BRICS countries) in 1 oz gold for about 2K USD. A tube of silver coins from anywhere in the world costs less than 1K USD. Nickel is only 15 USD per pound give or take. Copper is only 5 bucks a pound.
And that’s just what ordinary ‘Murican rubes can acquire on the internet and have shipped to their apartment.
What’s amazing isn’t the fragility of the dollar’s present position but rather how it has survived so long, winning converts all over the world who continue using it over all alternatives. When the paper fortunes of oligarchs like Gates, Bezos, Soros, etc., no longer buy access and influence around the world, then we’ll know we are entering a post-dollar world. Until then, the dollar remains king.

But seriously, I don’t offer the comment from a point of ignorance. Rather, it’s from a position of understanding how the empire’s system of political economy works.
Haiphong and Escobar set up this framework that the SMO represents some kind of cliff that will imminently lead to dramatic change. It’s possible, of course, because at some point things will change. But it’s been 7 decades now since the CIA/FBI/whomever started taking out wrongthink American leadership (JFK then RFK/MLK/Fred Hampton/etc.). The global fascists haven’t gotten weaker since then. Their hold on power has strengthened. MMT (or more generically, the emission of currency units unconnected to taxation or other systemic restraints on the ruling class) has been a massive success in expanding the empire’s reach and longevity.
The Soviet collapse didn’t end the power of the national security state. Various financial crises haven’t ended it. Various lying about imperial adventures haven’t ended it. Something of course will end it. But unless someone has behind the scenes knowledge of what Beijing and Moscow are actually going to do, it’s wishful thinking to hope that this time, this event, is the straw that’s going to break the camel’s back.

I am thankful that here in the USA we still enough freedom of speech that I can still hear/read voices like Pepe Escobar and The Saker. I so appreciate being able to read the English transcripts from voices who speak in other languages.
This is what Bretton Woods was supposed to accomplish, but the US insisted on making the dollar the international reserve, despite the obvious risks.
The new system that Pepe refers to was invented at Bretton Woods, by JM Keynes, who called the unit the ‘bancor’.
China and Russia have been developing it since 2009, and are ready to trial it with the EAEU bloc.
They may wait to introduce it until Ukraine is pacified, but no longer than that.
Well worth the time to listen to Pepe. He’s got information you cannot find anywhere else. Today, his months recently spent in Turkey delivers news about how they work inside and outside of NATO, with and against Russia, etc.
His intimate connection with the facts and the people who create the facts (events, change, progress) is unique. There simply is no one who works free journalism like Escobar.
And his personality is oh so easy to take.

It’s unfortunate, but understandable, that Pepe did not explain *how* the US initially set up its empire by going off the gold standard, in the 60s/70s and hooked up the US $$ currency with Middle Eastern Oil.
Had he put that in context, viewers, and possibly young Danny could have better appreciated what Russia/China/Others are developing via Russian Oil/Other Oil nations, and *commodities* that many of those nations have, especially Russia.
Moreover, while the two zeroed in on the hapless EU news outlets and NATO bureaucrats Pepe should have pointed out how they & thousands of wealthy EU elites are directly tied to the US/EU Financial Markets. Noting that element would have put greater dimension in better understanding the EU.

The US and the Anglosphere appear to be gaining the upper hand in their fight against the resistance and this is reflected in their increasing boldness to supply Ukraine with heavier weapons and more detailed intelligence, even for targets inside Russian territory. For all intents and purposes, Russia is fighting a war with the Anglo-American led alliance, which has vowed to “bleed Russia dry”.
In the Asia-Pacific, the US also seems to have been bolstered by the recent election of a pro-American government in South Korea, and it now appears to be trying to goad China into attacking Taiwan — a la Russia and Ukraine — by trying to shift the goalposts regarding Taiwan’s status and calling for more arms to be shipped to Taiwan.
I’m actually quite worried by how things are turning out at the moment.
