I guess I’ll have to keep publishing some short notes on the situation in the Ukraine, since it’s all over the news and most of that is fake news. Overnight there was a ridiculous amount of noise about Zaporozhskaya AES, which is the largest nuke plant in Europe.
President Zelensky proclaimed that it is the new Chernobyl and that all of Europe will need to be evacuated. He was obviously drunk at the time.
What actually happened was:
At 11:11 AM Moscow time (about an hour ago) the authorities of Zaporozhye Region announced that Zaporozhskaya AES is under control of the Russian forces.
At 6:20 AM Moscow time the fire at the administrative building at Zaporozhskaya AES was extinguished with no casualties. It was probably set on purpose to create the media picture of “Europe’s largest nuke plant on fire!”
At 5:36 AM Moscow time the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that the fire in the area of Zaporozhskaya AES did not affect any of the main equipment at the plant.
At 4:47 AM Moscow time president Zelensky goes live to announce that the Russians are trying to create a new Chernobyl. A likely story, that.
Between 3:51 AM and 3:59 AM Moscow time fire crews were on site putting out the fire. Apparently, there wasn’t a lot for them to do.
Between 2:00 AM and 3:30 AM Moscow time there was a shootout at the power plant’s administrative building. Somehow it resulted in a fire at the administrative building.
So much for a new Chernobyl.
In other news, this morning the Ukrainian army launched a rocket attack on the headquarters of the Ukrainian Nazi “Azov” battalion. Ten Nazis were killed in the attack. This was punishment for their refusal to follow orders.
In other news from this morning, Russia’s media watchdog, Roskomnadzor, is tightening up control by shutting down sources of disinformation and enemy propaganda, including:
• Meduza
• BBC
• Deutsche Welle
• Radio Free Europe
Previously, “Echo of Moscow” and “Dozhd” were shut down. What this means is that fighting fake news in Russia is going to get a lot easier. Of course, it doesn’t mean anything for the rest of the world, which will still have to listen to fake news of Europe’s largest nuclear plant being blown up by evil Russians.
Yesterday’s negotiations between the Ukraine (the regime) and Russia resulted in an agreement on humanitarian corridors so that civilians can get out of cities where there is fighting going on. The problem with that is that the remaining Nazi battalions don’t particularly obey orders from the regime and like to use civilians as hostages and human shields.
In all, the Russian demilitariazation campaign is going according to schedule. Ukraine’s nuclear installations are passing under Russian control undamaged. Infrastructure damage is quite limited (unless it is military infrastructure, in which case it gets blown up).
As far as denazification—the other goal of the Russian campaign—people are scratching their heads trying to figure out what that means and how it might happen. On the one hand, the Russians know them by name, face, voice print and perhaps even fingerprints, so it’s just a matter of hunting them down. On the other hand, the high-ranking Ukrainian Nazis and their families are currently fleeing the Ukraine and filtering out to the surrounding countries while simultaneously trying to organize terrorist attacks within Russia (unsuccessfully so far). To add spice, Ramzan Kadyrov, the intrepid Chechen chieftain, promised to track them down and kill them wherever they are. “We are everywhere in the world,” he said.
The rest of the situation is as follows (as far as I can piece it together). Kiev is a complete and utter mess and is likely to remain that way. There are pockets of Nazi resistance in Kharkov, making it slow going. Mariupol is largely under control and may come under complete control sooner now that the Ukrainian troops are firing on their own. Nothing has happened in Odessa yet. These are the major cities; but there are numerous smaller cities and towns that are being cleared of Ukrainian forces every day—too many to mention.
Meanwhile, in the West, it may finally be dawning on some people that the extent of the self-inflicted damage from the anti-Russian hysteria is more than anybody bargained for.
For example, the EU demanded that all Russian leases on Airbus jets—over 500 of them—be cancelled. It also blocked the sale of Airbus parts to Russia and forbade Russian planes from being serviced. It also closed its airspace to Russian planes and Russia closed its airspace to EU planes in response. The EU also blocked the SWIFT payment system. This means the following things:
• The European leasing companies will have to pay Russia huge fines for canceling the leases but can’t because SWIFT isn’t working.
• The European leasing companies have to get their planes out of Russian territory but can’t because their flight crews can’t get into Russia and once they take possession of the planes the planes won’t be allowed to take off (airspace is closed).
• The planes can no longer be serviced according to the maintenance schedule, which means that in a couple of months they won’t be able to fly at all.
• Given that this is a force majeur circumstance, the Russian government can very easily nationalize these planes, including all of the intellectual property and patent rights contained therein, and start making their own parts and providing their own service.
• Given all of the above, the obvious choice for the European leasing companies to declare bankruptcy and cease operations. Company representatives have said as much.
That is just one example; there are many others. What we seem to be observing is a bout of collective insanity in the West that is resulting in a sort of collective economic and political “suicide by Russia.” I’ll do my best to figure out exactly what that means in the coming days.
even if my respect for Russian is very high, replacing parts for Airbus planes will take as much time as just replacing the entire planes by mass produced MS21. A shortfall of replacement parts could be sourced from third countries. I expect new megafactories of Russian planes. Good.
Many parts of modern aircraft are called “rotables”. These parts are periodically removed and replaced by an refurbished unit. The original unit is maintained. All of this is done to a strict timetable that depends largely on time and the hours of flight.
I suspect that if this embargo carries on, some aircraft will be cannibalized. The rotables can doubtlessly be maintained in Russia or sent to China for maintenance. Places like Hong Kong and Singapore have a big business in maintaining the aircraft of more expensive countries (e.g. Australia). These places will not know where the, for example, jet engine comes from.
It is actually even more complex than that. Many airlines share their rotables. They keep spare engines at strategic locations.
A long time ago, I was on a 747 of BA taking off from Tehran Airport. One engine exploded on takeoff. Tehran is at some altitude and it was a hot day. The aircraft was full. After a while, the captain told us that the Pan Am 747 just ahead of us had a similar problem. They had reserved the only suitable engine at Tehran. We were obliged to fly slowly and at a low altitude to Bahrain. The plane was weaving between the mountains on the way. At Bahrain, I was obliged to wait for 3 days before a place was found to take me to London. The plane had obviously been seriously damaged. Perhaps shards of metal had damaged the fusilage.
Thanks for sharing your story. I meant that the Russians could produce those “rotables” by themselves theoretically. That would be insane. I look ahead to Russian ingenuity and the mobilization of its entire economy – this time to achieve reasonable self-sufficiency, while also working strategically with China and maybe India (if it is not already lost to the empire of lies).
zelensky is an alcoholic or uses cocaine. Curious, because Navalny also uses cocaine. Russia has China and India, and it will have all the products its civilization needs. Russia was at a crossroads and had to choose the truth. Russian liberals will have to leave Russia. Russia will build planes for all of Asia. China is eyeing Taiwan, and the US is already focusing on Taiwan. Putin knows what he knows, it’s not suicide. Most Russians must keep a cool head.
3D printing; Russia has managed to make parts using it, no problem in replicating those parts for the planes.
At least for some aircraft parts, manufacturing them is much more difficult than you think. I remember a person I knew who worked for GE designing jet engines telling me “We’ll tell anyone the alloy formula for the turbine blades. But they’ll never figure out the heat treatment steps.”
I’m just wondering if the west’s collective response which is completely over the top and will result in huge cost to the economy and people is intentional.
Part of the destroy the world economy then build back better.
What do you think?
Perhaps… pick up where the pandemic sputtered, ran out of gas, and fooled over by truckers. It was after all about crashing the global economy. Unfortunately now it seems the West is only burning its own house down and not the entire global village.
I have been thinking exactly the same. Intentional, in order to “build back better”
Yep. I think so also.
A collective response assumes independent action. It’s not independent, these are puppet governments operated by the US. Look for regime change in these countries over the coming years.
Good example: Biden saying he would shut down NS2 (which isn’t even operating!) while German Chancellor Scholz is standing behind him, mute. Exactly what authority – legal or otherwise – does the US have control over soverign German actions such as foreign contracts that the US is not party to?
Pump and dump is a basic strategy, cycled every 7-8 years in the US economy. Greed is the basis of action in the Empire of Lies. Hudson’s three oligarchies (MIC, energy, finance) run everything. Greed knows no limits and often overreaches, as we have seen time and time again. Collapsing the western economy was not the goal, but it looks like it will be the result.
This is ‘revenge of unintended consequences’ based on stupidity (avarice) rather than direct intention.
Four oligarchies, not three – MIC, energy, finance, Big Pharma.
unless you put it under “MIC” i’d also include silicon valley.
Bingo!
Am surprised that so few alternative pundits are grocking this. They’ll come around after a while, just like with covid.
I am thinking more along the lines of Build Back Never. Sounds snappy, doesn’t it?
How about Build, Back, Bitter. There, that’s better.
Could it all work this way:
1) USA and Canada have their own oil, even export some of that
2) They both import oil – from Russia
3) Russia is still delivering oil, at the price agreed long time ago
Because of 3) there is not (yet) shortage of oil in North America. But why 1) and 2). Well, it they can sell their own oil, from Texas or Alberta at higher price than cost of imported oil from Russia, then why not. Russian oil is then sold to population at very high mark-up. That is how capitalism works. Since 3) is still valid premise, there is no shortage of oil. Why doubling the prices at the pump then? Well, why not, people are kept busy worrying about Ukraine and savage Russians, so who will notice another round of gouging? That is how it works.
Canadian and USA oil actually belongs to oil giants – Shell and co. meaning nation’s oils is given for free to private sector, then we import oil from Russia to meet nation’s needs.
So how is then war in Ukraine cause for prices of everything to go up?
What no one looking at the crude situation seems to grasp…..
USA tight oil is basically Condensate…. C 3 — C 8… LPG….. Butane…. Pentane…. Hexane… Naptha…
This is the light part of motor gasoline…
Very little of it makes Distillate…. Diesel… Jet fuel…. Heating Oil…..
The US exports it’s light crude to countries where it is blended with heavy crudes…. Urals…. Orinoco…
To make the normal range of products…
The US imports heavy crudes from KSA…. Russia…. to blend with it’s light domestic crudes to make the normal range of products…
The US embargoed Orinoco… all Venezuelan Crudes… now embargoed Russian Urals crudes….
Basically NATO embargoed/ destroyed it’s supply of distillate and it’s NatGas…
Today… the world is short … really short on crudes….
Even if they patched things up with Iran…. still not enough to make up this short fall….
Perhaps Dimitry could elaborate….
But, the embargo on the sale of Potash and Ammonia is the kiss of death for most NATO agriculture…
Need not be so… SARE and the Rodale Institute, and the Savory Institute have developed “Regerative Agriculture” which is not dependent upon artifical fertilizers and insecticides and herbicides… but only a handful of farmers use it… Including some in Ukraine and Russia…
INDY
“Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar’s foreign minister, said that Qatar will not “be a part of some kind of conflict and political polarization.” As for the energy competition, it is open while Qatar intends to compete with Russia, the US and other producers.
Besides, Qatar demands to refrain from reselling the gas it supplies, a pattern of behavior some European countries are engaged in, in order to transfer the fuel to Asian countries with excess profit in mind.”
https://m.journal-neo.org/2022/03/01/russian-gas-ukraine-middle-eastern-perspective/
That’s what I’ve been thinking since the beginning. Western inhabitants of NATO countries have been largely in some kind of fugue for the past 2 years anyway and it’s only intensifying. The death drive? I’m going to re-read a book I read back in 1991 (when it was published): Jean-Michel Oughourlian’s “The Puppet of Desire: Hysteria, Possession, and Hypnosis” – from my now vague memory, I think it presents a convincing psychological theory that fits the puffed up, hysterical and self-destructive behavior of the regular “folks” at least.
p.s.: In other words, and so unfortunately, I think we’re going to see denizens of “the west” finding themselves begging for that “great reset” in the end.
If Russia keeps its head cold, one might see the implossion of Ukraines credibility and also the presstitutes that forwards their bullshit.
We all remember “Comical Ali”, and we might just buy our popcorn and await similar high quality entertainment.
The west, according to strong and competent voices from the west, such as McArthur, claims its the stupidity of the west that brought us this, and hence that, one might forsee that more stupidity will be the pattern of how the west deals with their achievement.
We all know you cant fix stupid…
In Western political and media circles, it is never necessary to admit being wrong or to apologize. One simply moves on to the next matter at hand. There is no penalty for screwing up. If anything, there are rewards for having stuck to the playbook.
Here’s the sort of thing that the geniuses inside the Beltway think. This one is from an un-named high official to the Cheney/Bush regime ….
“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out.”
(said to reporter Ron Suskind … the internet has eaten the link used as reference in the place I found this)
Yep, things will ‘sort out’ …. just like they did in Afghanistan. Interesting how ‘ignoring reality’ appears to be heading for its very predictable result.
If anyone has any doubt that denazification is necessary, I wrote for journalism class in 2017 how these maniacs control the government through threat of violence, even undermining the Ukrainian economy
http://whattherussia.wordpress.com/2017/04/08/ukraines-neo-nazi-battalions-bending-government-policy-to-their-will/
article is in no way monetized.
Hi ya’ll. I would propose my dear colleague honorable Mr. Kadirov to make a humble contact with Simon Wiesenthal center to share information on Nazis around the globe. It seems esteemed Mr. Kadirov will track these creatures for free.
Sure, especially, since Israel and the global Jewish community, are so eager,to go after these Banderistas.
End of irony.
as a Brazilian I am ashamed of the role played by our politicians (from all shades of our political spectrum) in the demonization of Russia as a people. I suddenly realized that we have failed as a civilization.
Good luck to the Russian people.
The worst thing is knowing that when reality sets in in the coming days, many will continue in their inability to perceive reality beyond the MSM fog.
Awesome text as usual.
Here, in Brazil, despite the Brazilian government declared strictly neutrality, our aircraft manufacturer Embraer decided, obvously by huge pressure of USA operatives, to do the same as Boeing and Airbus.https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.republicworld.com/amp/world-news/russia-ukraine-crisis/brazil-based-aircraft-manufacturer-embraer-halts-supply-to-russia-over-eu-sanctions-articleshow.html
This is a tremendous stupidity, and will give for Embraer hard consequences.
Brazil is highly dependent of a lot of Russian import, specially oil based fertilizers.
If Russia decides to retaliate in this case, the inflation of food prices can be a serious problem.
Russia may make an example of countries by shipping fertilizer only to places that don’t sanction them. That would make India and Brazil sit up and take notice. It could also sell at regular prices while everyone else pays a huge increase for Canadian and other sources.
Shell just bought Russian oil at a $30 discount. Russia still makes money. The cracks in the dam are appearing and it’s only been a week LOL. NATO = No Action Talk Only

Thank you Dimitry for the update.
It seems trying to have negotiations with Russia for humanitarian corridors is dangerous. I noted the other day that three of the negotiators/delegation on the Ukrainian side didn’t turn up for Day 2.
The truth has now come to light:
https://colonelcassad.livejournal.com/7477009.html
Image could upset some – look with caution. Mod.
“In Kiev, right at the Pechersk court, SBU officers killed Kireev, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations in Gomel with Russia. Allegedly “for treason.”
That is, they were slapped without trial. Official person. In the center of Kiev.
Apparently Zelensky himself may become the next. Moreover, a thesis has already been thrown in about the “3 attempts on him”. And where there are 3 virtual ones, there is the 4th real one.
As for the humanitarian corridor in Mariupol, it will not be today. The Nazis don’t want to let go of the human shield. All this is already familiar from Syria. Below is a memory tablet…”
Murder without trial in Kiev – maybe another reason the Army and Nazi Azov battalion (terrorists in the mould of ISIL) are now fighting each other. Looks like the SBU is also out of control with the Government too.
What has the West (US) unleashed in Ukraine!
It is becoming clearer that Zelensky was never in control in Ukraine, any more than Biden has any influence in the US. They are actors/script readers, of low competence, on the best of days.
My current fear is that the AZ Empire may be conducting a head fake here, saying they will not invade or protect Ukraine directly. They may wait until sanctions start to bite and Russian supply chains to the front lines are fully stretched, then intervene militarily, citing the massive public pressure and outrage that they themselves manufactured.
Sanctions make no difference to at all to the Russian war effort. And the US would rather do just about anything in order to avoid confronting the Russian military in any way, shape or form because US soldiers crap their pants at the very mention of the Russians.
I’m guessing he’s talking about the sanctions biting people in Europe, going cold and hungry and it’s all blamed on Russia.
It seems like there is a government within a government in ukraine. The ones we see on TV and at these meetings are NOT the ones who call the shots.
Technocrats now run what’s left of lesser Ukrainia. Same goes for most of these 2 bob countries. American vultures enter country to spread freedom and with the assistance of a few treasonous Oligarchs, divvy up viable state assets, even propping them up with more public debt. Anyone young, energetic and with half a brain flees, leaving behind a geriatric failed state.
Unintended consequences….How long can western people keep using that excuse? Doing your homework, listening to others. Nah, that is so yesterday, because….feelings.
And now start descent of the economy worldwide. US &EU will try to put blame on RF, but somehow that not going to happen because faults are on opposite side and as it’s very well published the TRUTH WILL
–PREVAIL–
The SBU reports that one of the participants in the negotiations with the Russian Federation in Gomel has been liquidated. Like a “traitor”.
Sources in law enforcement agencies confirm the murder in Kyiv of Denis Kireev, a member of the first delegation of Ukraine in negotiations with Russia.
According to them, the murder took place near the Pechersk Court. In the photo – the deceased Kireev.
At the same time, the sources do not specify under what circumstances this happened and who exactly killed him.

Thanks for the report,
There are news of so many Ukrainians display their disgust of ukronazis and taking up arms to fight them off. If true, this could spread to other parts of Ukraine particularly the capital Kiev. It look as if the Ukranian people are starting to realize who’s their real friend now after all. By the way, Western propaganda machine, is showing signs of slowing down.
Its complete psychosis in the west. Projection of who and what they are onto “Putin”. Inability to face themselves and out of enemies to blame. Leaders that serve themselves instead of those they lead are destroying themselves left and right and its bizarre to see it happen live.
In Slovenia we are seeing journalist purges on National TZ and national radio by people set in high places, I like to call them “Janša’s Šturmoviks”. These people are destroying a liberal democratic country for personal gains. It is horrible. This will get really messy when the sheep will stop buying the crap – the “Bastard in charge” is selling. Even the wannabe leftist president is too quiet, SHAME ON HIM TOO!!!
Great talk by John Mearsheimer and Ray McGovern. Encouraging to hear sane voices in the US
Start listening from 3’50”
https://youtube.com/watch?v=ppD_bhWODDc&feature=share
Mearsheimer’s historical analysis is sound but he goes off the rails when he starts projecting Russian action, which so far completely contradicts him.
Here you go folks. Clif High explains that Russia and Putin are going after the Khazarian mafia. He talks about how they were the murderous Bolsheviks, how they are not real Jews, how the Chinese and Europeans in 800 AD and earlier called them the name stealers.
Clif also mentions Zelensky’s $34 million mansion north of Miami Beach. These are the people who make decent Ukrainians lives miserable, they are totally ruthless and evil.
The first five minutes are slow because he discusses Dojo, Budo and preparing for war.

A repost from the UnzReview comment section: https://www.unz.com/article/russia-ukraine-2-the-world-order-has-changed/#comment-5212941
“Some musing on the moral aspect of the war in Ukraine, though the proper name of this war is “Judea Declared War on Russia.”
Three main protagonists had met in Kiev in 2014: John McCain, Nuland-Kagan, and “White Fuhrers” (self-proclaimed Ukrainian Nazis).
1. Tokyo-Rose John McCain was a wealthy playboy, whose dad, American admiral John S. McCain Sr. had covered for Israel when Israel attacked and murdered sailors on USSLiberty. https://www.counterpunch.org/2020/06/08/israel-continues-to-be-rewarded-for-killing-american-sailors-remembering-the-uss-liberty/
2. Nuland-Kagan is a regular Zionist with Talmudic mentality (“what is good for Jews”), which made it easy for her to dismiss the trifles of Arlington Memorial (418,500 Americans died in a fight against Nazism) and to expose the Holobiz for what it has been for decades – a successful profiteering schema. … In 2022, Nuland-Kagan went to Moscow to warn Putin that Russia will be ruined economically. That was rich from a progeny of Jewish Trotskyists who almost destroyed Russia a hundred years ago by murdering en masse Russian officer corps, clergy, professional class, and the principled and independent-minded people.
3. The Ukrainian self-proclaimed Nazis were nurtured by Canadian Banderites, the progeny of SS 1st Galicia death squad, and by the Jewish Lobby. https://banderalobby.substack.com/p/the-canadian-bandera-network?s=r
Before meeting McCain and Nuland-Kagan in 2014, the “White Fuhrers” used to profess ‘“Our nation’s historic mission at this critical juncture is to lead the global White Race in its final crusade for its survival. A crusade against the Semite-led Untermenschen.” After the meeting, the White Fuhrers have become the “Semite-led Untermenschen” themselves. …
The never-decent man McCain should have simply invited the Nazis to do a rave party on the graves of the Arlington Memorial. He was a traitor from a family of traitors. The geriatric and zionzied US Congress of war-profiteers would have joined the event.
Nuland-Kagan’s Talmudic mentality is psychopathic – it is devoid of the notions of decency, shame, honor, and mercy. They will not stop in their eternal search for Amalek. … Today, Russia is their Amalek.
As for the stupid Ukrainian and Canadian Banderites, they have entered history as the “Semite-led Untermenschen” against Slavic people. No glory for them.”
Cherchez les “Straussians”, the hard disk of the present evil: Blinkens, Nulands, Sullivans & “elected” Brotherhood.
Thanks, Dmitri. I have difficulties understanding the timeline of the nuclear plant incident. It seems to start at 11:11 AM and end at 2:00-3:30 AM, kind of backwards.
It is backwards.
I saw early on some clear footage.
A Russian armoured vehicle volume arrive (no tanks)
Some uki group in the training building fired 3 rpg type weapons. 2 missed widely, 1 near hit.
Vehicles open fire with machine guns and take out scum bags. Ukis or perhaps tracer round start fire.
Fire put out.
Russia takes control of plant
THE END
Western media then goes full retard
Is the “Oryx” source on twitter trustworthy?
No he is not. A rabid pro NATO liar.
A friend of mine’s sister was a dancer at Folies Bergere in Paris working under the pseudonym Cherie Chernobyl. A real class act, dynamite what she could do with 2 tussles and strategic piercings.
Europe has not only shot itself in the foot but also the ass and head. Sadomasochists the lot.
Can anyone confirm this info about Mr. Ze’s finances?
“Kiva News reports: Zelensky has 1.2 billion $ in the Dresdener Bank in Costa Rica, weekly and monthly deposits of 15 to 35 million $ from Rinat Ahkmenov, Victor Pinchuk, Igor Kolominsky via Banks like First Union Bank, Deutsche Bank, Banque National de Paris, all Rothchild banks, impossible without BIS support and French and German Govt knowledge,
Zelensky also has a 35 million $ Villa escape plan in Miami Beach he probably will never see, as well as other major purchases to have optional wealth supply, ie gold, jewelry, etc!
Also, the head of the Office of President Yermak has 56Million $ in the same Dresdener Branch in Costa Rica, remember Panama Papers? Assistant to PM, Svetlana Tikhanovskya has 5 Million$, which she transferred to HSBC in London. and the Victoria Nuland fave Arseny Yatsemyuk, “ Yats is our Guy, Eff Europe “ famous quotes by Nuland, has a massive account in Dresdener Branch as well.”
There should be reparation lawsuits initiated against the German and French banks by the wronged Ukrainians. – Mr. Ze is a war criminal.

“What we seem to be observing is a bout of collective insanity in the West that is resulting in a sort of collective economic and political “suicide by Russia.” I’ll do my best to figure out exactly what that means in the coming days.”
Ha! Best of luck with that one!
I don’t really see what’s so hard to figure out. Like before WW1 and WW2, the gigarich noticed that the working families noticed that the wealthpower giants raked in even more obscene overfortunes while they, the working famiies, got more overwork and less and less in reward for it, and were starting to complain and threaten to do something about it – a few strikes even happen. Inequality gets extreme enough, the working people get fed up enough in 2022 = CIA media shouts in unison “Hey! Look! Russians!” Nationalism, which had waned, gets cranked back up and put into overdrive, the gigarich western thieves get to rob us all blind and get us to blame Russia for our problems instead of them. wash, rinse, repeat. win-win for the wealthpower giants who stay wealthy thru it all.
(People are not really imagining that the west’s wealthpower giants are going to be poor along with the working families, are they?) No, this “war” – both the shooting war and the propaganda war – is a war on the working class as much as on any country or countries.
Which is why it’s really China that gives me hope. China has leadership wise enough to put limits on personal fortunes. I don’t have much hope the human species is going to make it, but if we do, the country that creates the greatest economic justice/equality will be the strongest, lasting longest.
There’s an ironic connection between the lead Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky (with UkroNazis in Belarus) and Ukrainian nuclear power plant events.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Medinsky
https://en.delachieve.com/vladimir-medinsky-biography-and-photos/
His father Rostislav Medinsky was the part of the Soviet Army contingent which helped manage the 1986 nuclear accident at Chernobyl NPP.
Was a message being sent to the masters of UkroNazis and their predilection for false flags? Many expected some WMD FF in last weeks, which mysteriously did not materialize..
I have not delved into this matter, but according to one article it says the Kremlin “blame CIA agents for the explosion at the [1986 Chernobyl] power plant.”
https://kaleidoscopickeenesss.co.uk/www.newsweek.com/chernobyl-russia-communists-ban-libel-disgusting-soviet-union-hbo-1444001
Incidentally the father Rostislav Medinsky shares a distinction with Tsar Nicholas II – both were Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society

“As far as denazification—the other goal of the Russian campaign—people are scratching their heads trying to figure out what that means and how it might happen.”
What this term means, basically, is to change the (“Nazi”) government with a friendly government, period. That friendly government would then do the rest of the denazification, if there’s any left. (“Special military operation” synchronizes with this other term.)
• Given that this is a force majeur circumstance, the Russian government can very easily nationalize these planes, including all of the intellectual property and patent rights contained therein, and start making their own parts and providing their own service.
“Nationalize” IP is a new notion for me. Then again, it is property.
I agree. It is more correct to say that there will be no prosecution on the claims of Western copyright holders.
It should surely be reasonable for the European aircraft leasing companies to sue Ursula van der Leyen, Michel Barnier and a few other f***wits in the EU bureaucracy for punitive damages for actions ‘incompatible with representing the interests of the citizens of the European Union’.
Whether EU functionaries are so above the law that no-one is allowed to bankrupt them for their behaviour is something the EU legal experts should comment on.
But once you create an environment where incompetent functionaries can destroy entire productive economic sectors for no good reason other than obeying US orders, you have an economic area where discount rates employed during financial planning exercises are going to be raised considerably to reflect considerably higher ‘regional political downside risks’.
My advice to the businessfolk of Europe is to face down the EU bureaucrats head-on and then point your fire toward Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Victoria Nuland. I don’t think any of those three are very popular in the USA any more…..
Biden, Pelosi & Nulandj are still popular with liberals. A lot less liberals than there used to be since they betrayed the working class they never actually worked for but there was a false belief. So now both parties are war/ultrarich parties and there’s nothing else. The progressives mean well but are afraid to really break with the liberals (and the electoral system here is very undemocratic – no party except Reps & Dems is ever allowed to run for important offices). The brainwashing is still powerful. The Right still depends on a lot of racism. They’re going to try to revive loyalty to the betrayers by having a war. I think Biden will eventually have a coalition with Trump. Then things will get even worse.
“But once you create an environment where incompetent functionaries can destroy entire productive economic sectors for no good reason”
That was already fully normalized under the Covidian banner, with the ardent consent and participation of the great majority of the masses.
So the default now is that any pro-imperial bureaucrat can issue any lawless diktat and expect to be obeyed, any any significant refusal to obey will be a break with the norm.
I knew the Nuclear Plant story was totally bullshit because I was watching it in real time. It is entirely beneficial to the Ukranians to inflate these stories because they want America & the west to be pulled into the conflict. It’s not working.
If it was real it would have been on the cable channels 24/7 instead of being reported in the scroll at the bottom, while they showed sports result and the upcoming weather.
I think The Saker will be interesting if he didn’t watch.

Sometimes smart people like Andrey Bezrukov come to this talk show. Here’s what he said about the seriousness of the situation and the urgent tasks for Russia:
“I listened to Biden’s speech this morning. The appeal to the nation is annual. And it was quite clearly stated there that we will finish off Russia as best we can. There will be no mercy for Russia. All resources will be abandoned. And stormy prolonged applause. I believe him. Of course, they did not feed the fascists in order to leave them now. And in fact, let’s state that the order that developed after the Second World War no longer exists. The Bretton Woods system is dead. The UN system is barely breathing and, in general, does not function. The Olympic movement is dead. Every European shusher who “Eurovision” – zilch, nothing. A whole new world begins. That shell that was made, that system, it’s completely ossified. That’s it, it’s over. And what about the First World War? What happened during the First World War – alliances were created, which by force of alliances dragged those who did not want to fight into the war anyway. That’s what we see in Europe. And I’ll remind you, I don’t know whether I’m quoting Dimitrov correctly or not, but what fascism is is a force used by the financial oligarchy when it has nothing else left. What is the fodder base of fascism? This is petty bourgeoisism, brutalized by nationalist slogans. Well, that’s it. Correctly. Absolutely in all its refractions. And in this country too. We have only one thing left: they have mobilized. Completely. Now it’s time for us to mobilize. And here I would be happy to invite those people here, about whom you, Vladimir, have just spoken. Who convinced us that it was nothing terrible. Now, if some nibul had laid down building materials with a warehouse – half under a canopy, and half was just thrown into the rain, he would have been imprisoned for criminal negligence. And when you can take half of the country’s currency reserve, put it in the rain – no one will be punished. Nothing will happen. The same people who allowed it, they are there too. How can they be trusted? No one is punished. Nobody. There is no responsibility. The worst thing we can do is to make do with half-hearted measures. No, well, are we some kind of terpils? Here we have everything turned on against us. And we are thinking now. Well, Sergey Viktorovich speaks beautifully, of course, what a conversation. And what measures are we taking? Why haven’t all the planes on our land been nationalized yet? Why aren’t all Western companies nationalized? Why are IKEA stores that are closed now not given over to Russian entrepreneurs for shopping malls? Why do we still comply with the intellectual property laws of those countries that impose “infernal sanctions” against us? Why? Do we have to? Do we have a parliament or not? Who will speak for us? We will not go ourselves, we must have some kind of representative force. Frankly speaking, I expect decisive actions from this force at the level of what Biden said. There is mobilization – then there is mobilization. I won’t say any more— what’s there to say. I’ve said it all.”

Yes, but Putin a few days ago in that televised meeting with business leaders stressed that they do not want to destroy the world financial and trading system which they want to be a part of ultimately. So although they definitely could retaliate this way, I think he is playing a longer game.
One part of it might be an attempt to crater various core narratives at the heart of underpinning the West’s view of itself as the Good Guys, basically, with anyone whom they need to tussle with being ‘Bad Guys.’ By giving them all rope to demonstrate the insane lengths they will go to hang themselves, Putin is exposing the Western leadership class to ridicule and contempt as their whole narrative is exposed as a festering dunghill of stinking lies. His new moniker ‘Empire of Lies’ is spot on in this regard.
Time will tell…
and if the planes stay grounded the FBO will demand payment from.the leasing companies for the ramp space they are taking up. But since they can’t send any payments eventually the FBO will seize the planes for lack of payment.
Meanwhile, in the West, it may finally be dawning on some people that the extent of the self-inflicted damage from the anti-Russian hysteria is more than anybody bargained for. […]Given that this is a force majeur circumstance, the Russian government can very easily nationalize these planes, including all of the intellectual property and patent rights contained therein, and start making their own parts and providing their own service.
Vladimir Putin and his government have shown incredible patience. It seems to me his strategy was to build a strong legal case for his government to justify its actions, in spite of the insults and threats from the West. Like many others that dislike Western bullying, I was wondering why the Russian government was not proactively banning the export of rockets engines, titanium, petroleum, and other strategic resources to the West. Now I understand why. By reacting to Western sanctions instead of acting first the Russian government has causis belli to:
*Introduce counter sanctions (e.g. banning pro-NATO airlines from using Russian airspace after NATO allies did it first)
*Declare “Force Majeure,” which will likely nullify many insurance policies of Western private firms
*Nullify the last Western golden goose known as “Intellectual Property.”
I have always believed it is best to be proactive instead of reactive, but Vladimir Putin has shown there are times where reactive is better than proactive.
“What we seem to be observing is a bout of collective insanity in the West that is resulting in a sort of collective economic and political “suicide by Russia.” I’ll do my best to figure out exactly what that means in the coming days.”
I suggest you strongly consider the possibility that this is a manufactured crisis. Just like with covid19 which featured a real pathogen and actual victims, so also here there is a real conflict with actual casualties. However, the real subject matter is the ramifications of the point of concern. This was true with covid and it’s true with Ukraine.
Consider that the purpose of all this is to crash the current world order one of whose principal characteristics is US dollar hegemony and Western dominance in world culture generally. I suspect that the Ukraine situation will soon be relatively stable however a protracted siege of Kiev with regular dramatic updates from the embattled Jewish President in his bunker somewhere will continue so that the world economy can be further damaged, ideally to the point of collapse.
The story might be that the West is punishing Russia and any who support her (like India, China, Brazil etc.) but the result will be the isolation and eventual collapse of the West which her own government is doing everything it can on its own end to facilitate. Once you grock that DC is bent on toppling the Statue of Liberty even as it is already pulling down statues of Washington and Jefferson, it all starts to make sense.
Impossible, unlikely, absurd, tragic and surreal, yes, but also its pretty much explains everything. You are a great Occam’s razor man with a keen appreciation of design (witness Quidnon project) so if I’m wrong you’ll figure it out and if I’m right you’ll explain it far better than I. Either way, we’ll all benefit!!
A useful thought and one I’ve had myself.
Thierry Meysann had proposed after the first Putin Biden summit that a Yalta 2 had just taken place and the world would be carved up into 3 zones, correct me if I’m wrong please.
So yes it may be a reset (there are no other means left to continue the present system) in new clothes, but only for Zone A as known here.
For the rest of the world things have already moved away from the canabalistic usury of the Western banking system, driven as always by wars.
This move can only accelerate too much freedom is at stake.
Of course the “Yalta 2 “has fallen apart now and that was most likely not factored into the Anglo Saxon game given their racist mindset.
It was a shock to see pictures of passengers in the Moscow subway who couldn’t use Apple Pay and Google Pay and were trying to get cash to purchase tickets. Why in the world were Apple Pay and Google Pay even allowed in Russia in the first place? China has had its own modern digital payment methods for decades. Russia should have followed China’s lead in blockading much Western influence in finance and the internet years ago. The Great Firewall of China needs to be extended to cover Russia as soon as possible. Russia should have been more proactive – and now needs to get serious.
In Russia everything is allowed that is not forbidden. And there was no reason to forbid these payment methods. Now people will simply stop using them. The fact that these metro passengers had no fallback is a sign of their personal fragility, nothing more.
Let me help with the de-Nazification.

Listened to a Polish analyst who found how the national insurance company ZUS is basically goading the ukrainian refugees into taking over empty apartments, or ones that ‘don’t have curtains in the windows,’
So good luck to the surrounding countries with all the banderite worst of the worst settling there! People don’t know what de-nazification is? Well, here it is. They will either be killed, flee, or be captured and tried. As long as they are no longer maligning ukraine, it doesn’t matter. The US and EU aided and abetted them, then the banderites are now their problem. Won’t be long until they cause problems for their hosts. Let’s see how much people will ‘stand with ukraine’ then.
It is fascinating that the countries, such as America, which have been fighting against migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, etc …. now hang out big signs that say welcome nazi’s
Personally, I hope this ‘denazification’ thing spreads. There are a lot of other countries beyond Ukraine that require denazifying.

“The European leasing companies will have to pay Russia huge fines for canceling the leases but can’t because SWIFT isn’t working.”
Normally, under a ‘rules based order’, a legal obligation to pay is not dependent on the payment mechanism. Ie, if Russia is owed a debt, then Russia should be able to demand payment. And ‘the check got lost in the mail’ or ‘the system is down’ is not an excuse for non-payment.
Of course, what we really know is that the ‘rules based order’ is really ‘they who have the money makes the rules.’ After all, a world of the oligarchs, by the oligarchs and for the oligarchs could not have any other rule … or else the oligarchs would buy that rule too.

After the Bankers and the Corporations and the Generals got their $Trillions to throw at their various problems, the American people were told there just wasn’t anything left for their problems.
The “sanctions from Hell” actually seem to be increasing Russian profits; they have increased the price of gas and wheat, which Russia exports. They also encourage Russia to develop its own production. For these reasons, Russia might want to avoid counter-sanctions, because that could discourage this “punishment”.
Regarding the self-inflicting damage, that’s what happens when actions stem from hysteria.
