By Ollie Richardson for The Saker Blog
Before diving into the topic of this article I would like to pay a special tribute to the late William Blum. For those who are unaware why, he passed away on December 9th at the age of 85 due to illness. For those who don’t really know who he is, I recommended reading his books – especially “Killing Hope”. It is an encyclopaedia of CIA aggression against humankind. The importance of Blum’s work has an infinite character and serves as an example for us all to follow.
Now onto the core of the matter: the riots in France. I will not go into the chronology of events because it is updated every day and would only involve lots of tweet and video embeds with some personal comments in between (I already wrote something along those lines here). What I will discuss, however, is the different reactions to the riots as seen on the Internet. Although before doing this I want to put forward one disclaimer: even though terms like “globalism” and “elite” don’t really do justice as to how complex geopolitics/international relations is, for the sake of expediency I am obliged to use them. I think that readers will be steered in the right direction nevertheless.
Some background
Since the September 11th false flag attacks social media has become the main driving force behind socio-economic shifts. And things are no different in France today. The “Gilets Jaunes” (Yellow Vests) and the liberal bourgeois opposing “violence” have been coming to blows on both Twitter and Facebook. The mainstream French TV news channels (BFM TV, LCI, France Info, France 24, Euronews, Cnews, etc) are tasked with connecting specific dots and presenting the viewer with an outline (narrative). Of course, the layperson generally accepts the output of the MSM as “God’s truth”, because it is “simply impossible that they would lie like that – journalists are trustworthy”. It goes without saying that absolutely no TV channel is “objective”, since there is always a financial backer, and such a concept as “objectivity” doesn’t “exist” anyway, since wars generally are the product of disagreements (the UN Charter seemingly isn’t enough to bring even regional peace, let alone global peace). Even if God is cited as a reference point, history has shown that it doesn’t prevent conflicts from happening (please refer to what the Vatican is now doing in Ukraine). Science also produces conflicts of paradigms – climate change being a good example. It’s as if war is simply what humans do – a fight for survival. Even the most “pacific” person has buttons that can be pressed. In fact, such CIA programs as MK Ultra and Camp Bucca aimed to find such buttons. But, on the other hand, most humans can agree that dropping bombs on children is wrong, so we can’t really say that hope has been completely killed…
Anyway, according to French mainstream media there are 3 main categories of persons involved in the disorder: peaceful “Gilets Jaunes” protestors, “ultra-left”/“extreme-right”, and “les casseurs” (those who just smash things up). Without wanting to submerge the article too much in the propaganda produced by Macron’s team, let’s just say that those who wear a yellow vest and chant “Macron demission” (Macron resign), occasionally returning a tear gas canister back to the sender (Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité), are the most true to the cause (deporting globalism from France), and the rest who wear balaclavas and/or hold “antifa” posters are pro-system – i.e., liberals. Yes, the concept of “titushki” exists in the West too. The problem is that there sincerely are those who are p*ssed off with the state and society around them, and thus will happily smash things up in order to get “revenge”, at the same time having no interest in politics essentially because they, seemingly, need a university diploma to do so. On the other hand, there are those who were sent by Macron to infiltrate the “Gilets Jaunes” and discredit them. So the group “les casseurs” isn’t a simple concept.
Similarly, the establishment-created “ultra-left”/“extreme-right” paradigm also isn’t simple to summarise. The main essence of this model is to steer the political discourse towards the so-called center – globalism/EU dictatorship – and away from “wild” ideas like a humane standard of living.
There are “anarchists”, “feminists”, “communists”, “socialists”, “anti-fascists”, “white supremacists”, etc. All of these terms essentially describe the same thing – liberals who create social strife. Even the Communist Party in France is “Communist” only by name. In fact, this has become a worldwide trend, where intelligence agencies have successfully undermined “Communist” movements and turned them into a way of grabbing from the poor and giving to the very poor, whilst the rich, super rich, and hidden elites remain untouched. This describes Pavel Grudinin and Gennady Zyuganov in Russia very well, although in this example they have become fully-fledged fifth column, demanding Putin’s removal because he doesn’t drop a nuke on Kiev or reduce taxes.
In France this description applies to Benoît Hamon and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who resemble Bernie Sanders (another pseudo-socialist clown) more and more with each passing day. Long story short – they are liberal gatekeepers, who, either consciously or through stupidity, want to preserve the existing “pimps up, hoes down” system, since they see that the feeding trough (replenished with taxes) is up for grabs. Nevertheless, in the meantime Jean-Luc Mélenchon is riding the wave of “Gilets Jaunes” and publically shows himself as their undeclared leader, even though the yellow vests themselves are decentralised and only have local (one for every region or sub-region) leaders (one example – Tristan Lozach).
The truth is that the French establishment is desperately trying to keep the sheep in the pen. The MSM – owned by rich elites (it must be said that many are Zionists, like Patrick Drahi) – create these special categories to keep society divided and to pit people against each other. The “feminist” is set against the “anarchist”, the “ultra-left” is set against the “extreme-right”, Bernard Henri-Levy supporters are set against Dieudonné supporters, etc. The aim is to create a perpetual paradox that keeps the working man and woman shackled to the credit boulder and punished when they try to jar free (the use of the trope “anti-Semitism” is the main weapon here).
Whilst we can try to outline the general socio-economic system in France, the fact is that the system isn’t French at all. In reality, it stopped being French in November 1st 1993, when the European Union was founded. Since this moment a toxic hologram has being floating above the entire European continent, injecting into the populace’s grey matter the notion that the EU is some supra-nation, like an Aryan race, where people are chained to each other via “tolerance”. Distinguishing borders – both proverbial and physical – were blurred, cultures became a culture (sorry, “multiculturalism”). Actually, the very notion of “tolerance” implies a pest that must be tolerated. This is a rather pessimistic concept, no? And of course, the more presstitutes blab about “democracy”, “unity”, “equality”, etc the more it proves that the reality consists of the exact opposite – dictatorship, fragmentation, inequality. Which description corresponds to what we are seeing in the Western world most accurately?
However, no one seems to be able to describe what being “European” is. All explanations seem to revolve around one thing – money. One currency, one market, one package of fiscal regulation. It is similar to how a “British” person is unable to describe what being “British” means. The Beatles? Fish and Chips? Rain? Well for a Scot the Beatles are English, not Scottish. Fish and Chips, by all accounts, was the invention of a Jewish immigrant (or at least Wikipedia claims so). And rain – well, this is hardly an exclusivity. It follows from this blurring of the lines that we are supposed to forget how the English invaded territories, enslaved the natives, and then annexed lands. We are supposed to forget how the US ran to Omaha beach and occupied half of Berlin, preventing the “red plague” from spreading further. We are supposed to forget how American nuclear missiles were placed on the European continent and aimed at “evil Russia”, courtesy of the “NATO” simulacrum project (NATO has “borders” apparently).
Without wanting to get carried away with describing how carcinogenic the “EU” is, which is a topic that deserves a separate article (or multiple articles), I advise everyone who wants to know what it TRULY represents to observe what is happening in Ukraine now. And I don’t mean Donbass. I mean in Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kherson, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, etc. Across the whole country. In every single region of Ukraine the western “civilised” world (Poroshenko refers to them as “international partners”) is forcibly erasing the Soviet legacy – or at least the tangible remnants of it – and replacing it with the EU model:
- Free and qualitative education in multiple native languages (Russian, Ukrainian, Hungarian, etc) = gone. In Kiev a new pilot test is being carried out, whereby pupils must pay for their own primary education (for pens, paper, etc). This will lead to the roll out of nationwide paid-for education. The curriculum itself is almost exclusively based on promoting the “Russian aggression” fairytale.
- Qualitative medicine based on Soviet/Russian research = gone. Now EU/American BigPharma is popping up across the country and primitive diseases that were eliminated in the USSR, such as measles, are now at the stage of a national epidemic. High quality and cheap healthcare = gone. Ukraine is transitioning to the American model of healthcare – the kind where an ambulance won’t come to you if you are poor, and where you have to travel for miles to see the family doctor because the village clinics were shutdown.
- State-owned companies and assets are being massively sold to the highest (although the sale price is normally a fraction of its true value) bidder from either Poroshenko’s or his Western backers’ environment.
- The actual cost of living – utility bills and food – grows exponentially to such an extent that pensioners and even teenagers prefer to jump out of the window than live another day in misery.
And the list can go on and on. In other words, despite the EU explicitly stating more than once that Ukraine will not be joining the bloc anytime soon, the process of westernising the country’s infrastructure continues unabated. And the situation concerning NATO membership is the same – Ukraine will not join the alliance in our lifetime, regardless of the PR coming from Bankova Street. Please read this and this article to gain an insight into what the EU is really doing in Ukraine. Long story short: Ukraine becomes more and more like France, which in turn becomes more and more like Greece.
Reactions to events in France
As I mentioned earlier, social media has become the main driving force behind the current explosive events in France, and the print media simply creates narratives by aggregating from different trends and popular comments and then wraps them accordingly. Indeed, “journalism” today is actually an aggregation competition. Anyway, the reactions to the unrest in France can be divided into 3 categories:
“pro-Russia” Western segment
This category bases its position vis-a-vis this or that socio-economic issue on what the so-called “alternative media” is saying. Most people in this category also read RT and Sputnik and have either simply lost trust in the mainstream media or their views are in one way or another dissonant with the mainstream discourse. They have some notions of what living in Europe (American occupation) is like and understand that life in the West is starting to look a lot like a plantation, where the field negro is subordinated to a house negro, who in turn is subordinated to a Lord. Thus, this category knows that Macron works for the Rothschilds and is the same “merde” as Theresa May and Angela Merkel, and they know that the “Gilets Jaunes” are simply fighting against globalism.
Liberal zombie Western segment
One key example of why this category is different from the “pro-Russia” one is the topic of migration. The average liberal who screams about Sentsov or “gay gulags” in Chechnya veils their own racism (inherited at the genetic level from their colonising ancestors) by pretending to be sympathetic with ethnic minorities, as if they are inferior and need help from the superior race. They also shed crocodile tears for the “children gassed by Assad”, but don’t want to talk about Sykes-Picot or the nuclear bombings in Japan. They are always a “victim” of something and need social strife in order to reduce everyone to their level so they don’t feel as insecure. For this category the riots in Paris are funded by Putin and are a threat to “democracy”. They are oblivious to the fact that the government has a list of terrorists – called “Fiche S” – but does nothing to keep them in jail or deport them if they don’t have French citizenship, whilst at the same time thousands of peaceful “Gilets Jaunes” are detained across the country for defending their constitutional rights. Russia doesn’t need to interfere in France; France will lie in the bed it made for itself when it pillaged the Middle East. Unfortunately for the French, the Syrian boomerang did a U-turn rather quickly.
Russian segment
Those who live in Russia and generally don’t have much of an idea of what life in the EU is like think that what is happening in France is “Maidan”, which is probably funded by Trump because “Macron wants to create a EU army”. They see scenes in Paris that are similar to scenes from Kiev in 2014 – pianos being played in front of riot police, things on fire, paving stones being thrown around, a large gathering of people on the Champs d’Elysee, etc. I.e., they rely on visual cues and are unable to detach themselves from what happened, and is happening, in Ukraine enough in order to see the wider picture. This isn’t their fault, of course, because we cannot be omnipresent. But we can do our own primary research and form conclusions by triangulation. Whilst its true that colour revolutions entail external influence, what is happening in France is not a colour revolution.
Why?
Firstly, France is the most taxed country in Europe. The increasing cost of living has resulted in over 120 million people being served by food banks in recent years. 50% of wages go to the state. Anyone who has the chance can come to France and see the financial facts for themselves. And whilst it might be said that America hijacked existing discontent in society (like the “electric Yerevan” protests in Armenia), this statement will be addressed shortly.
Secondly, because Russia has run circles around the US military-industrial complex and its attached foreign lobbies, placed the S-400 in Syria, and annulated project Bandera in Ukraine courtesy of two well-designed cauldrons (Debaltsevo and Ilovaisk) – all without violating international law or any treaties, America now wants to tear up the INF treaty and bring mid-range missiles back into the mix in an attempt to exit the geopolitical impasse it finds itself in. Of course, this move will invoke Moscow (and China) to make reciprocal steps, so in reality it is a zero-sum manoeuvre. But in this scenario the EU becomes a sacrificial lamb. Whilst Germany (where Trump’s roots are, incidentally) is aware that it needs Nord-Stream 2 in order to fend off Trump’s attempts to cripple German business, it is also aware that the situation can develop in such a way where Germany will be obliged to actively oppose America and go along the imperialistic route. I.e., the doggy completely breaks free from the chain.
Thirdly and lastly, Bernard Henri-Levy says that the “Gilets Jaunes” are bad, so it means that they are in reality good and have the interests of the people at heart (sometimes things can be this simple).
In summary, Trump gains nothing by staging “Maidan” in France because empowering the working French people won’t bring France back to heel at all – it will do the exact opposite and reverse the results of the past 70+ years. Unless, of course, Trump is some revolutionary genius and has a plan to crush globalism and the CIA (which, based on what America is doing in other parts of the world, I very much doubt).
Conclusion
As we watch on a TV screen or witness with our own eyes how the police attack their own people and defend the “1%”, we may often see article writers or commenters ask the question “where are we going, what comes next?”. Apparently we are running around like headless chickens whilst a big war – sometimes referred to as “World War III” – is on the horizon. Some websites will tell you that “WW3” will come tomorrow at 5pm, and then 24 hours later will tell you that it is in fact tomorrow, but at 9am. Then after another 24 hours has passed they will say that it’s actually tomorrow at 00:01. But if to approach this question seriously, we must first of all understand that the planet was rotating before we were born, and it will most likely continue to rotate after we are gone. I.e., our lives represent on average 80 orbits around the sun. Secondly, we must acknowledge that the cliché “Rome wasn’t built in a day” does have some truth to it. Actually, it factually wasn’t built in a day, in the same way that Lenin’s and then Stalin’s USSR wasn’t built in one day. Both examples involved a level of self-sacrifice that seems unimaginable in today’s “me first” Instagram reality. 27+ million Soviet people sacrificed themselves so that the Soviet Union stood a chance of existing after June 1941. They didn’t have the time to naval gaze or to even permit themselves to indulge in masochistic Hollywood scenarios of a nuclear apocalypse. They took a uniform position in relation to any challenge; regardless of how large or small it may have seemed. They just put their head down and worked – for the nation; народ.
We want change, but we don’t yet know what it is that we want to build. Or do we?
“When there is state there can be no freedom, but when there is freedom there will be no state”
-Lenin
The author captures the point in this one good quote:
…those who wear a yellow vest and chant “Macron demission” (Macron resign), occasionally returning a tear gas canister back to the sender (Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité), are the most true to the cause (deporting globalism from France)
In the U.S. this same group exists wearing MAGA hats and are also true to the cause (deporting globalism from the U.S.)
Anti-globalism, in the U.S. and Europe is irrevocably anchored in “Christian Populism” and it’s traditional family values.
__________
The biggest problem facing the European movement is the lack of a charismatic leader. Orban has the right policies, but without the ability to activate the people outside of Hungary.
Perhaps Italy’s Salvani will be able to pick up the mantle. He is currently winning in his battle against the EuroZone elite’s austerity budgeting and the EU elite’s migration fantasies. He also benefits from timing. Macron’s government is doomed and there is no viable globalist mouthpiece from Germany either.
Mass migration theology preached by the anti-Christian Globalist faith is at its most vulnerable right now. Once this evil is destroyed and emigration begins returning people home… The Globalist elites in the U.S. and Europe lose their power to coerce workers into actions against the teachings of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
The yellow vests are a sponsored phenomena.
Evidence for this was published on the 2017 Economist magazine cover on which can be viewed in the picture segment entitled ‘The Hermit.’ In the hermit segment can be seen yellow coloured protestors carrying placards emblazoned with messages like eg No Nato, No EU, No TTIP, No TPP. The image shows Alsace-Lorraine severed from France…the EU seat of Strasbourg. Also you will see in the image that France is joined to the UK so that they act as one entity. The English Channel is shown dryed out in the image to inform those woth knowledge that France and UK are together leaving the EU.
So take a look at the yearly 2017 ‘The Economist’ magazine and study the image of The Hermit and tell me the yellow vests are an organic phenomena.
The aim is to seperate Strasbourg from France. To have France and the UK combine tear the EU apart.

Here is link to The Economist 2017 magazine cover.
Take a look at the little globe atlas in the bottom right hand corner of ‘The Hermit’ portion of the cover image. You will find that the land being severed from the EU is none other than France. And that the UK and France are joined together in this split. Take a look at a map of Europe and see that the outline of the state struck by lightning corresponds to the borders of modern France. Note the adjoinment of the UK with France.
The so called Yellow Vests are a sponsored phenomena.
Thank you. There definitely might be something to that. Those are Rothschild’s (the German mafia’s) foretelling pictures for the year ahead. (in “The World in 2015” they foretold their own terror attacks)
First there’s Anglo-American Führer (of the very ‘globalists’ he pretends to fight) Trump sitting on top of the world, and the world is covered with the flag of the (German mafia) led US of A.
No doubt Alsace-Lorraine (break-up of the EU) is meant there, and Catalonia seems to be added to a (an Anglo-American wanted) split-off France & UK as well.
I reckon the German mafia (aka the ‘globalists’) has drastically changed its policy [since the 1953 coup d’états and subversion of the Soviet Union, and certainly since the definitive fall of the USSR under Gorbachev until quite recently, they pretty much thought they’d won or surely would win by subversion] and now, in a desperate bid to turn the tide, wants to (re)build an Anglo-American war machine under Führer Herr Trumpf.
Nevertheless, apart from some temporary (Anglo-American wanted) chaos in anti-Anglo-American Europe, and above all some domestic pro-Trumpf propaganda, Trump and the ‘globalists’ gain nothing when the French working people are empowered.
So, it doesn’t make Ollie Richardson’s excellent analysis any less good.

The UK is actively managing the world to nuclear armageddon.
Forget the gymsum lady…she is just the entertainment.
War is coming
Les Gilet Jaunes may be a sponsored phenomenon, but I would have said that the country being struck by lightning in The Hermit card looks much more like the USA.
What a refreshing insightful article.
Not trying to ram predigested muck down our throats.

A peak behind the shadows, and the sneakiness and deceptions of ‘the EU model’.
Vive la France!
Dear Ollie,
Thanks for the notice of William (Bill) Blum’s death. I have followed him for years. One of the true; and yes, there is an awful lot to learn from his books. He spent his life as a voice “crying in the wilderness.” A very brave man. May he rest in peace. G’ma
I wrote the following to provide details of what is actually happening. The tactic of blocking traffic – everywhere- is a real threat to globalization. Parisians are out of touch with what caused the countryside to explode.
The French Revolt Threatens Globalization
After an unending series of affronts, the French countryside exploded in anger at the announced « ukase » to raise the gasoline tax. Two French women on the internet social media suggested blocking traffic on Saturday November 17, 2018 while wearing yellow « traffic » vests to protest the government’s actions. The first « yellow vest » protest blocked primarily traffic in the countryside leaving Paris unscathed. When President Macron, who likens himself to Jupiter, arrogantly declared « If they are unhappy, let them come get me » they decided to come « get » him the following Saturday. Refusing to be confined to an established protest point (Champ de Mars), crowds of « gilets jaunes » invested the elite Champs Elysée-Arc de Triomphe quarter seeking as well to reach the Presidential Palace. Except the President wasn’t home, he was hobnobbing with other world leaders at the G20 in Argentina while his own country burned.
What started as a festive « bon enfant » change from routine now threatens not only the government of the young French President Emmanuel Macron but the entire edifice of the neo-liberal world order. By an idea. This is an attack on the achilles heel of globalization – transport. Non violent, de-centralized obstruction of movement of people and goods.
Why is this uprising particularly dangerous to the neo-liberal capitalist world order Macron represents and seeks to force down the throats of a recalcitrant population ? The French countryside is profoundly conservative, tends to vote the center right Gaullist tradition which is far more « social » than the Anglo-American « Right », and abhors anything resembling « anarchy ». These are native French people of the threatened middle and lower middle and working class who have never before joined in any protest movement. They work, raise families, and do everything a good citizen should do. Except they can’t make it to the end of the month. (They are paid once a month.) They are furious to pay more and more in taxes while services disappear, a good description of the neo-liberal austerity doctrine Macron represents. Post offices close, maternity wards disappear, train service declines while ticket prices rise. Lack of « pouvoir d’achat » (purchasing power) is their common theme. What might seem like a paltry sum to the rich Macronists is enough to push the countryside over the edge. For them the gasoline tax (already the highest in Europe before the projected increase) is profoundly unfair since they have no alternative to driving. Their tax goes into the general fund which subsidizes city subways and bus service while leaving them with only the car to get to work.
On top of that, on coming to power May 2017, the Macron government raised the CSG tax on Pensions. If 70 year old grey haired men and women are throwing paving stones, it’s because many are living a financial disaster. Already they had trouble heating their houses. I live half the year in a historic stone house 100 miles SW of Paris. If I heat my house during the winter at 20° C, it takes 3 propane gas tanks per year. Last year this meant over 6,000 Euros and the price keeps rising. I keep the thermostat at 20° C (68°F) which is considered a luxury temperature, most people can heat no more than 18°C (64°F°), some no more than 15°C (59°F). But if I don’t heat at least 20°C (and one needs to dress warmly if sedentary), I’m constantly battling a sore throat. Oh, and by the way, if this government really wanted to give purchasing power to the French, they would lower the Value Added Tax (sales tax) on heating fuels which constitute nearly 20% of the bill. So when I pay a 2,000 euro bill, 400 euros of that is tax.
If the aim is to reduce carbon emissions there are other ways to do it than to tax people to death. The French countryside has massively embraced solar panels with the assistance of an intelligent subsidy. Windmills proliferate across the landscape. A nationwide ambitious infrastructure investment in insulating lodging would reduce the carbon footprint, bring employment and reduce the misery of winter cold.
A factor which ignited rage in the countryside tends to be overlooked : the imposition of a 48 mph speed limit on secondary roads which provincials use every day. The previous limit was 54 mph. At the same time radar cameras posted on the roadside photograph the license plate of a « speeding » car after which the driver receives a bill in the mail. This fine may be just enough to prevent the driver from taking his family out to a local café, or buying shoes for his kids. French wages are very low and after paying the rising energy bills, rising insurance bills and taxes, families have nothing left to even go to the movies. It’s even worse for workers who drive alot as part of their job. They are in constant anxiety of getting a ticket which actually increases the likelihood of an accident rather then increase safety (the announced motive.) People suspect this is another « tax » to bring in more money to the government.
–
If one wants to go faster one can take the 81 mph toll roads (autoroutes) which a previous « conservative » government privatised and which are very expensive. Otherwise one can piddle along at 48 mph with the risk of receiving a ticket in the mail. This enrages people. Over a 10 day period after November 17, 20% of the radar cameras were disabled. As of December 12 the damage amounts to 50%.
Before resigning his prestigious position as « Ministre de l’Interieur »– head of National Police – on Oct 3, Gérard Collomb warned France of a coming social explosion, though his concern was more the immigrant communities in the poor suburbs than the « silent majority » in the French Provinces. As it turns out, he left just in time. If the protests became increasingly destructive, it may be the largely peaceful « yellow vest » protest opened the door to the « casseurs » (smashers).
Another factor which should give the government pause, the local police are largely sympathetic to the « yellow vest » movement. Besides having the same « end of the month » financial difficulties, they have been given traffic ticket quotas to fill which infurates them. They believe this is more a tax increase than a safety issue.
To compound the overwhelming sense of injustice, successive governments have lowered the taxes on business which finance local budgets. Promised compensation to village mayors has not been forthcoming. The latest outrage came with the elimination of the ISF « Impot Sur la Fortune », the wealth tax on financial assets, thus further enriching the 1%. In fact the proposed gas tax increase would have compensated almost exactly the loss to the Treasury of the abandoned tax on investments. It is a measure of the Macron government’s arrogance to propose raising the gasoline tax on everyone just after having given a fiscal gift to his rich sponsors.
The « yellow vests » derisively call Macron the « trader » -(financial speculator) – and label his majority his « moutons » (sheep). The situation is dangerous because nearly 77% of the French population support the yellow vests who do not feel their voices are being heard. Since the National Assembly is elected at the same time as the President, there will be no mid term vote reality check on his policies. In fact, the only pending election in which the French can express their grievances will be the European parliamentary election June 2019. This could bode ill for « Europe » as a neo-liberal project.
Macron’s arrogant obsession with the Eurozone budget deficit limit of 3% to please Europe (read German/French banks) without any regard to the needs of his people has resulted in a very expensive revolt, not only by closing commerce but by exploding the budgets of the police. Access to shopping malls has been blocked on Saturdays before Christmas, traffic in general has been slowed if not outright blocked. Saturday December 8 the heart of Paris was shut down, department stores closed, museums and tourist sites closed, our neighborhood empty. And even should Paris calm down, the « yellow vests » are still camped out to block traffic in the Provinces.
A telling symbol. A trashed Starbucks displayed graffiti with the slogan « pay your taxes ». The only object left untouched was the tip jar.
Provincial mayors have opened their town halls to urge citizens to write « cahiers des doléances » (Lists of Grievances – shades of the French Revolution).
« Cahiers des Doléances » List of Grievances
1. Zero homeless
2. Income Tax – Greater Progressivity
3. Minimum wage 1,300 euros net per month.
4. Favour small commerce in villages and town centers with free parking. Discourage large malls around cities
5. Finance infrastructure projects to insulate lodgings thereby creating work and lowering energy expense
6. Tax big business (Google, Amazon, Carrefour etc) more and small business (artisans, TPE, PME) less
7. Same Social Security for all (including artisans and self employed). End to the RSI
8. Retirement system must remain « solidaire et donc socialisé. ». End to point system ?
9. Gas tax – No Increase
10. Minimum pension – 1,200 euros per month
11. Every Congressperson will have the right to a medium salary. His transport costs will be re-imbursed if justified. He will have the right to restaurant tickets and vacation checks.
12. Salaries, pensions and family allocations will be indexed to inflation.
13. Protect French Industry to protect our knowledge and employment. Oppose delocalisation.
14. Put an end to « travail detaché ». A Polish employer can ship his employees to work in France, pay low Polish wages and refuse to pay into French Social Security all of which undercuts French labour law. (In the USA an Alabama company can’t send his workforce to California and ignore California labour laws.) This is an aberration of EU law. Demand : Every person working in France should do so as an equal to French citizens and his employer must pay into French Social Security.
15. To protect employment security, limit temporary employment contracts in favor of permanent employment contracs.
16. End to CICE, Socialist President Holland’s « pacte de responsabilité » launched in 2014 which lowered social security taxes on business in hopes the elites would create jobs. All it did was increase the budget deficit.****
17. No more Austerity. Declare interest on the debt to be illigitimate and begin to reimburse it by recuperating up to 80 billion euros of fiscal fraud, and not on the backs of the poor.
18. Treat true causes of forced migrations.
19. Treat demanders of asylum humanely. One owes them lodging, security, food as well as schooling for minors. Work with the UN to see that refugee camps are opened in many countries until their legal status is determined.
20. Those denied asylum should be returned to their home country.
21. Work to realize a true policy of integration. To live in France means taking courses in French language, French history and civic education to be certified at the end of cursus.
22. Establish a maximum salary of 15,000 euros per month.
23. Create jobs for the unemployed.
24. Increase allocations for the handicapped.
25. Rent Control. Create more low income housing.
26. Forbid privatization of national wealth (eg airports, dams etc)
27. Increase budgets for justice, the police, the gandarmes, and the army. Pay unpaid overtime.
28. All monies earned on the toll highways (« autoroutes ») should pay for maintenance and road safety.
29. Privatization having led to increased prices for gas and electricity, we demand their re-nationalisation and lower prices.

One final comment :
*** While the Palimpsest lingering over Protestant Anglo-American societies values « Responsibility », the heritage of French Society is Catholic which values « Charity » and the « Social ». This may be why Anglo-Americans distrust the French (and the Russians as well.)
Is stopping bombing children and unleashing the worst crime of humanity, a war of aggression, to annihilate a country too much to ask too?
Is stopping the funding arming and training of terrorist too much as well?
Is refraining from stealing and actively excavating for the 9000 years old relics of a country defending itself against your aggression too much apparently?
You still don’t get it, do you?
You can’t have peace while waging war on someone else!
You can’t base your whole economy on bombing children!
You reap what you sow!
You don’t refugees? Don’t annihilate a country!
You don’t want immigrants? Stop stealing a countries ressources and assasinating their heroes opposing imperialism!
You don’t want terrorism? Ally yourself with countries actively fighting terrorists and don’t bomb the one country actually doing it!!!
Wonderful summary of the revolution against the French establishment…
As I have posted elsewhere, fuel taxes are just a couple of the 56 new taxes that Macron ordered.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdnlMcZ2vQ4
For the other readers, here are some of the taxes and the percentage increases:
12% Carburant (fuel)
15% Frais bancaire (bank charges)
130% PV de stationnement (parking tickets)
3-5% Assurances (insurance)
5% Mutuelle (French benefit insurance system)
10% Timbres poste (postage stamps)
15% Carte grise (license fee)
10% Tabac (tobacco)
3% Abonnement bus (bus pass)
1.3% Peage routier (road toll)
7% Gaz (natural gas)
15% Forfait Hospitalier (hospital deductable)
30% Abonnement velib (bicycle rentals)
23% Control technique automobile (auto inspection cost)
1-3% Cantine scolaire (school lunches)
36% Fioul domestique (heating fuel)
17% Electricite (Electricity)
21.7% CSG (General social contribution to finance social programs)
All these taxes are causing an increase in business taxes resulting in higher prices for all goods and services. This will in turn lead to more revenue to the French state in VAT taxes.
Please correct me if I have made any errors or omissions.
Thanks for the great details.
Cost of privatised businesses that should be nationalised… Then, the private owners blame the governments for the taxes… This is why the governments are reducing taxes for them, isn’t it???? RE-NATIONALISE!!!! This is the only solution.
I really liked your comment, Anna Mae. Thank you for the lengthy information and detailed ‘List of Grievances’. Let’s hope the French people unite on these terms – and get what they want! It will be the begining of a new world for the workers.
This IS a Maidan, period! There is no point trying to paint it any other way. The anti EU arguments presented here is alt-right Breitbartesque nonsense – a union of European nations is essential if they are to have any hope of standing up to USA. The only reason EU has sanctions against Russia is because of Poland, Baltic and intense pressure from USA and UK. Nord Stream 2 will tie Russia and Germany together like an umbilical cord, and many states from Portugal to Austria have said the sanctions must go. A new rail link between China and EU will reduce the power ocean powers USA/UK and its pirate navy. The EU will not give pathetic UK its brexit demands, and will reduce them to poverty on the edge of Europe. Everything points to EU moving towards the East and abandoning USA influence, which is not acceptable for the Pentagon and Mi6 of course.
I quote Putin in 2011 “ We desire a integrated trade area from Lisbon to Vladivostok” and many other Russians have said the ultimate aim is to integrate Eurasia, Europe and China for mutual benefits against Anglo Saxon hegemony. When you see a supposedly spontaneous movement with a color, catchy name and artifically rapid spread on social media, it can only have come from a state intelligence service. The yellow jacketed ‘freedom fighters’ have led to the deaths of civilian motorists and destroyed icons of their own State heritage , like Azov militants smashing red army monuments and burning buildings. They made footage which showed Police beating protestors, yet did not show the provocation that induced it. Trump openly supported civil disorder in a ‘allied’ state, this is a crime in international law, this has not gone unnoticed in France, the moment Trump came out in support of the the terrorists (thats what they are, terrorists serving USA geopolitcal interests, like the Jihadists), the yellow jackets support fell quickly.
I also think it need to be made clear, France is economically a different type of state to others. It is the most pure form of non-Communist Statism on earth. For example the State owns part of Renault and many other corporations. Electricity, Post, Telephone etc is all in the control of the State. The French do not tolerate their State assets being sold off to foreign corporations they have a high sense of national dignity, unlike Ukranians, who freely sell off both their country’s state industry and their womens bodies. France is pathologically anti Anglo-Capitalist. So in the Multipolar world that is emerging, France will be a key player. Macron wants an EU army to stop USA led NATO dominating Europe. He is a former banker yes, and a questionable individual, but Assad and Milosevic both started out as pro westerners. And immediately after he said about an EU army, within a day, magically the Yellow Jackets, what a coincidence! Let their be no Maidan in Europe!
I live in Paris and know what it’s like slaving away to pay bills here. Do you live in France?
You don’t know that the eu is the vatican plan?
Actually, it’s irate motorists who have run down the protestors, not vice versa. This is a spontaneous movement in protest against the globalist neo liberal project (“pay more and more in tax, get less and less in service”) and hardly something the Anglo-Zionist Empire could favor. It sets a dangerous precedent. How rapid would an Amazon delivery be if all roads leading from their warehouses were blocked? Also, it’s Gorbachev who expressed the ideal to père Bush the war criminal of a common European home from Lisbon to Vladivostok. He very naively believed he was dealing with an honest, upright person. Bush was horrified to think the USA would be excluded from Europe and did everything in his power to shove the Russians out (and destroy their country.).
From the visions of Saint Ann Catherine Emmerich {died 1824}:
“Pilate’s new laws by which a tax was laid upon the Temple, were read to the people. First a tax was to be used for making an aqueduct to connect water to the grand marketplace and to the Temple; and secondly, there was a question of certain homors, titles, and sacrifices to be offered to the Emperor. Immediately a great tumult arose. Loud cries and mutterings proceeded from the crowd, especially from the quarter occupied by the Galileans. Pilate addressed some warning words to the people, and gave them time to reflect; whereupon, indignant and murmuring, they dispersed. The Herodians were in secret the prime movers and instigators of the people, yet no one could convict them of such dealings. They kept Judas Gaulonite under their thumb, and he had a whole sect of Galileans as his followers, to whom he constantly inveighed against paying tribute to the Emporor, and stirred up their thirst for liberty under the pretext of zeal for religion. The Herodians were exactly like the Freemasons of our own day. They stirred up the unthinking multitude, who knew not whither their zeal was carrying them until they paid the penalty with their blood”
Has anything changed?
We are definately well on our way into WW3. It makes no sense for this war to happen but happen it will and soon.
It’s long overdue to call for American/NATO bombing of France in order to end the repressive Macron regime.
The USA and NATO have a Responsibility to Protect the moderate Yellow Vest rebels from the Macron Regime’s human rights atrocities.
Macron must go!
Do it for the children like Benoîte Abedoux!

Trangas released his new radio talk show today, unfortunately in Greek. Giorgos Karatzaferis, a Euro-skeptic politician, talks with Trangas, at 17:59 he talks about elections to Euro-Parliament, he says he works/talks with Farage, says he likes Salvini, as he met Salvini when Salvini was a young guy. He says Salvini is a very sharp fellow. And, he predicts the end of EU as we know it, Merkel’s dictatorship of EU will be over and thanks to the likes of Orban, EU will return to “National States”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIYNz-CbMns
I suggest listening to everything, if you understand Greek. Very interesting. Karatzaferis talks about US, Turkey, Russia, and other things.
I guess, yellow vests are helping as well, or maybe they have something to do with Euro-skeptic movement all together. Also, I am thinking that, if France moves away, then Merkel will have no other choice but scream and quit.
1968 was Maidan, this one is real, convergence of alt left and alt right, with no identified leader, is their worst nightmare.
So bad that a majority still supports the mouvement, Macrons approval rates still drop, BHL, Attali and the rest of the tribe is in full panic.
Worse, many don’t buy the Strasbourg terract, as if anything was done to make it happen.
See Xavier Ruffin (one of the last experts) explains to presstitutes, that there was no way this could have happened without a little help.

Macronenko is going Porkie style. If ACT V happens this week-end and mouvement survives, things might get hugly.
This fight must go to its end. Giving up for 100€ already partly financed for 2019 will not do
Olie, an excellent article.
I would like to touch on couple of things, that EU brings with it:
1. No education, or virtual education if you will. The school books, are prepared or at least approved by TelAviv for political correctness (at least this is true for Greece) .
2. Medical system, non existent, all destroyed by the pseudo cuts. The only medical personnel left is the mediocre stuff or the stuff just about to retire. Sick people have to bring bags of money with them.
On the other things you touched, it has always been a case in the West, that government would use trained trouble makers to cause destruction in order to alienate the population against otherwise genuine demands of the protesters. Chaos and destruction is the name of the game, therefore nobody knows what is going on.
France has been a Rothschilds hunting ground since 1789, when they financed the French revolution. In 2017 they placed their banker, Macron, in the Presidents Office. France is slowly dwindling into insignificance, destroying itself ethnically and culturally due to massive immigration. Was this planned ? Obviously.
Greetings,
Actually decades before Macron, the Rothschild bankers have already installed their former employee Georges Pompidou in 1969-1974 , then Valerie Giscard d’Estaing 1974-1981. Both concocted la ‘Loi Pompidou-Giscard’ which practically forbids the Bank of France , in this case the State, from printing and borrowing money from itself at ZERO Interest, think of it as the French version of the 1913 Federal Reserve Act in the USA.
I began reading this to see if there is any confirmation that the mass of protestors was formed over perhaps a long time by ‘outside’ forces. At first this long screed seemed to confirm, ‘Yes. maybe.” but fell into making fun of its protestor questions. Chaotic comments to me, probably wrongly so.
The Paris protests to me are amazing, unbelievable. As is it’s arrogant President. Does anyone know or even guess that behind all these chaotic events over all Europe is the fact that US 9/11 was known one year in advance and was US/UK fully supported in order to remove all law, replace it with lawlessness and to begin WW111? Plan to take over the world.
Yes, we have heard this general idea many times, but you’re going to have to provide far more detailed support of the claim that there are “outside” forces at play here, or that it’s a straight line from 9/11 to the current events in France. Credibly sourced, well-supported claims are the standard, you know.
The Website “les Gilets Jaunes” was created one year and some months ago in Denver Colorado, USA!
The French have a long and honourable history of protest in the streets, turning out at least a couple of times each year for a variety of reasons. I really don’t see how this turnout has to be the work of an external agency, the French are perfectly capable of deciding for themselves when it is time to take to the streets. They’ve never been backward about it before or needed external agitation to do so.
Give them some kudos, they made up their minds and got on with it, as they’ve always done before. What’s different this time is how widespread the protest is, cutting across classes and not confined to any particular industry or geographical grievance.
It reminds me of the poll tax riots in the UK that broke Maggie Thatcher.
Vive la France!
Totally agree with one minion. Kudos to the French for standing up against the Macronists!
It isn’t that Macron followers have infiltrated the “Gilets Jaunes”. They created the whole thing.
Yes, there are a good many sincere buy clueless “True Believers”‘ out standing in the cold, imagining that they are making some sort of valid political statement. But in truth it’s all BS. Just as the “Occupy (whatever)” movement in the US was really just a hoax organized and financed by the banking elite, the Gilets Jaunes of France are, (at the control level) just a scam. This is nothing new in France. Just prior to Sarkozy’s re-election on a strong law & order platform I happened to be passing by the scene of a supposed riot in Lyon.
There was no riot and no rioters. A handful of Arab teenagers were decked out in hoodies and scarves to be the designated rioters. They were greatly outnumbered by media personnel who were actually directing the supposed riot using bullhorns and giving direct orders to the rioters in order to create convincing footage. The police and emergency crews were following instructions from the media as well.
And that’s the case for the Gilets Jaunes. There’s nothing real about the movement at all… at least not for those with access to the media. It’s all just a staged production.
Having hallucinations, don’t you?
