The scale for psychopathy is the “Hare Scale” developed by the Canadian Dr Robert Hare who has spent his life studying them. He wrote “Without Conscience” and co-wrote “Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths go to Work”. (which I have read). Hare has said the most remarkable thing about them is their eyes. Another researcher Dr Reid Meloy calls it a “fundamental dis-identification with humanity”. I am sure that Lavrov has a very deep understanding of what he is dealing with. I just don’t understand how you can make any progress with them but I am sure (hope) there are strategies.
The rest of the video is actually pretty important. It raises the question of Russia’s legitimate security interests and the fraudulent way they have, hitherto, been addressed by the US and its NATO chihuahuas.
But Sergey Viktorovich’s trolling is rather like that spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down. People who don’t agree with or even remotely understand the position of the Russian Federation may, by virtue of liking a good joke, come around to see the merit of his argument.
