Putin made an important speech today which the Russians officials are in no hurry to translate. So here is a machine translation from Boris Rozhin (aka Colonel Cassad): (only partial extracts from the full transcript, emphasis added by me, Andrei)
The operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine is developing successfully, strictly in accordance with plans.
The tactics of the Russian Defense Ministry in Ukraine have fully justified themselves, everything is being done to avoid civilian casualties. Before the operation began, Moscow offered Kiev to withdraw troops from Donbass, but they refused. All the tasks set will certainly be solved.
If Russian troops had stopped at the borders of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, this would not have been the final solution, it would not have removed the threat to Russia.
Russia is not going to occupy Ukraine.
There was no task to storm major cities.
The strike on Donetsk on March 14 is a bloody terrorist attack.
Russia will not allow Ukraine to remain a springboard for anti-Russian actions.
The whole planet has to pay for the ambitions of the West, the myth of the “golden billion” is collapsing.
The West is trying to convince its citizens that their difficulties are the result of Russia’s actions, but this is a lie.
Sanctions against the Russian Federation are hitting the Europeans and Americans themselves, “it is not necessary to shift from a sick head to a healthy one.”
The US and the EU actually defaulted on their obligations to Russia, freezing its reserves – now everyone knows that the state’s reserves can simply be stolen.
Russia – unlike Western countries – will respect the right of ownership.
Arrests of foreign assets of the Russian Federation and business – a lesson for Russian entrepreneurs, there is nothing more reliable than investments at home
We now know who cowardly betrayed their partners and failed to fulfill their obligations to employees.
Trying to “cancel” Russia, the West has torn off all the masks of decency.
I am sure that after blocking the accounts of the Russian Federation in the West, many countries will convert their reserves into goods, which will increase the deficit.
It is obvious that the current events draw a line under the global dominance of Western countries both in politics and in the economy.
Moreover, they themselves question the economic model that has been imposed on developing countries in recent decades. Yes, in general, the whole world.
I emphasize that the sanctions obsession of the United States and its supporters is not shared by countries where more than half of the world’s population lives. It is these states that represent the fastest growing, most promising part of the global economy, including Russia.
The “empire of lies” of the West is powerless against truth and justice, Russia will continue to bring its position to the whole world
The West relies on the fifth column, national traitors, such mentally are there, in the West, and not in Russia. The West is trying to split our society, speculating on combat losses, on the consequences of sanctions. The people will be able to distinguish patriots from scum and traitors and just spit them out like a fly that accidentally flew in. The natural self-purification of society will strengthen our country.

I would just add “better late than never”!
In a very different style, I found the video below on this website: https://www.brighteon.com/a51d063f-a8da-48b2-b3d6-95d783940a98
Finally, here is the usual Readovka map, to “use with caution” and don’t make too much of it:
There are reports that the Russian army is controlling the road from Izuym to Slavyansk,is that true?
Does anyone know?Because that would be a huge breakthrough.
It’s true and confirmed with videos.
I should clarify, not the ENTIRE road all the way right up to Slavyansk, but they are fighting on at least part of it maybe up to halfway or so but still advancing, so we’ll see how far they get.
I just saw a report that the Russian troops surrounded the Ukrainians in Izuym by taking a village to the south of the town and that the road to Slavyansk is ahead.
There’s word they have advanced and are fighting in several axes from there. Husarivka northwest of Izyum, Barvinkove to the southwest of Izyum, and some believe they are not trying to head to Slavyansk per se but rather the opposite direction, a spearhead westward, either towards Dnipro or simply south for the beginning of closing the cauldron to eventually meet up with southern forces coming up from Donetsk.
This is some of the confirmed video of work on the road towards Slavyansk though not very far into it https://twitter.com/GeromanAT/status/1504218686437175310

Dude,
This twitter feed stuff is a joke.
We have been there before in 2014.
Bozos making stuff up.
What’s their feed from intense fighting at night?
The MOD is letting them listen in to secure encrypted com?
Think a little before you put this trash up as if it is factual, actual combat reporting.
The video of artillery could be anywhere, any war. It’s someone to the rear of the arty as a few rounds are fired.
The map is useless. A satellite image with some lines as “the front” and some circles. Bright colors.
Sorry if this upsets the war games atmosphere.
But I read that one ahole tweeting, RWA, and it is pathetic.
The fighting in that area is real and it’s one of the most important axis of advance because it is less then 59 km from Slavyansk.
Insulting others in your comment does not let you appear trustworthy.
@hung time: I see no personal insult in what Larchmonter wrote. You are obliged to distinguish between criticism of the content, and criticism of the person offering it. Otherwise, you are just muddying the waters and causing undeserved strife. Larchmonter saved me from wasting time on a Twitter that probably can not show enough to authenticate the videos * map. To tell the truth, I’m grateful for that.
I started following twitter in 2014. It was mostly noise, but there were a few honest reporters. Graham Phillips, Patrick Lancaster, Valentina Lisitsa, and others I have forgotten.
But by now I have stopped looking to twitter for news. After getting so much flack, Lisitsa switched to posting only in Russian, Phillips’ account was deleted along with many others, and twitter has fallen to nothing but noise. Many have VK accounts, but my language skills are poor.
The Saker is one of the few English language reporters with integrity.
Valentina Lisitsa ! I love her music, but I haven’t seen anything else from her since about 2016, when she went to Donetsk for performances and to teach a workshop for young people. She gave a 45 minute interview that was very informative. When she was growing up in Kiev, there was a lot of jealousy towards the Moskals, and she shared that view, which was only shattered by the atrocities of 2014. She is a very level-headed woman.
Please let us know where she is posting her articles. It’s not at valentinalisitsa.com.
Thank you, Amerikanski. You answered better to Cosimo than I could, and I see he´s fine with your words. So am I.
As I block cookies on the dozen, I only start twitter feeds from trusted sources. As I did not watch any of Nightvision´s links, I may have been not in the right position to offer critics. Which I did not. I only recommend not to start your reply with “Dude”. That´s all, and I´m going to look for Valentina Lisitsa.
Regards, Hung
Do you know what is happening in Belarus right now?
Military exercises, nothing more.
On the 16 mars 2022.
A motion regarding Sweden becoming member of NATO were voted down by a majority in the Swedish Parliament, yesterday.
The majority instead voted for a so called NATO Option, meaning that Sweden must retain the possibility of seeking membership of the NATO Alliance.
At the same time the majority voted against the ratification of a UN Convention Banning Nuclear weapons on Swedish territory.
https://twnews.se/se-news/sd-stoppade-svenskt-nato-medlemskap
So no NATO membership for Sweden.
I told you so Stoltenberg.
Saying Russia and it’s wonderful people is inexpressible.
God bless them.
IMO, the act of terror in Mariupol may become Russia’s Pearl Harbor Moment in that it’s an act of Infamy that ought to motivate many. After Putin’s historic speech, we read that Russia’s government at all levels and regions are now motivated by what’s clearly an existential war. I have no worries that Russia will properly deal with Ukraine. It’s the fulfilling the remainder of its security issues, particularly rolling back NATO to 1997, that worries me.
As for the question you posed at the end of the previous sitrep, the Outlaw US Empire won’t go nuclear because its JCS knows it will lose–the nuclear codes case is utterly useless. The pathetic politicians are so far out-of-their league and drunk on their own Kool-Aid it’s laughable. I know that provides little solace, but unfortunately that’s all that’s available.
I’ve reviewed Putin’s speech to find where he declares the war an existential threat to Russia. He doesn’t employ those exact words, but the words he does use convey the essence of the phrase above. What follows is within a longer passage detailing the aspects of war being waged on Russia that provides supporting context for this passage:
“I repeat: we are talking only about the reasons. But the policy of containment, weakening of Russia, including through economic isolation, blockade, is a conscious, long-term strategy. The leaders of the West themselves no longer hide the fact that the sanctions are not directed against individuals or companies, their goal is to strike at our entire domestic economy, at our social and humanitarian sphere, at every family, every citizen of Russia.
“In fact, such steps aimed at worsening the lives of millions of people have all the signs of aggression and war by economic, political and information means. It is total, undisguised, and, I repeat, the so-called Western political beau monde does not even hesitate to talk about it in direct text.”
“It is total.” Yes it is. And the 24/7/365 demonization narrative is aimed at dehumanizing Russia, Russians and all things Russian just as the Nazis did in the late 1930s. Its Plan Ost in action once again. And I’ll make this observation: Such intense demonization isn’t meant to stop; it will continue and worsen if that’s possible.
The Saker asked a sensible question at the end of today’s first Sitrep: Is there any way to avoid a nuclear war between Russia and the Outlaw US Empire? Over Ukraine, my answer is yes. Over the core of Russia’s Security Proposals, meaning rolling back NATO to its 1997 status? Quite possible. Before the Empire of Lies thinks it has nuclear parity because it has a few hypersonics? No. After? Very possible. What if Russia demonstrates its S-500, 550 & 600’s ability to shoot down hypersonics? No. What if Russia demonstrates one of its newest weapons based on new physical principles? No. In other words, I only see that possibility occurring IF the Outlaw’s military is assured there’s some hope in survival because deep down they love their children too.
Is there a video or link to text to this speech? I think it is critical for understanding what is to come.
It is so nice to read the words of one who is not only moral but cultured. The “beau monde” – that describes the “establishment”, the “elites”, better than any other words. Yet I had forgotten such a phrase exists, so rarely is it used by our faux-proletarian rulers.
I hope you are right. But nuclear war can happen in an instant. We all know how close we’ve been in the past, and give the situation now, they might launch just on warning.
The puppeteers (who very likely have some kind of nuclear Noah’s Ark) might have their men planted high in the military chain of command.
I really don’t want to be an alarmist and I hope from the bottom of my heart I am wrong.
You know what these overwhelmig sanctions (that´s only done by EUSA [USA, Canada, EU, Australia, Japan, New Zealand]) actually proofs? The Empire of Lies that ruled and ruined the planet for 500ys KNOWS they have lost their devastating grip on the world. They have lost it. When Biden became elected candidate to presidency by fraud, not Tulsi Gabbard or anyone else with a functioning brain, it was the first moment to realize: the evil game is over. They need a demented who signs anything they give him, a born liar. Now they run around like the headless chickens they are and shouting “Sanctions!” after they had shut down their own economy for a whole two years to gaslight the fact that the economy of the empire of lies is completely broken. The problem is that the moment the wounded beast is down on the ground and about to die, it is the most dangerous threat to the sane others. That´s the problem: they still have these nukes. Although I think most of them are malfunctioning or out of order, one can´t count on that. Well, we´ll see. As much as I was happy that finally Russia did no longer comply to the Empire of Lies, I was very angry that the devoted lackays of the Empire in Western continental Europe once more failed to grab the opportunity to go full into Eurasia into a bright economic future and let the US drown in their upcoming civil war into segregation and self-destruction, they shut down North Stream 2 and condemned us to freeze and starve in the darkness to come. But nevertheless, even if it means death for me, I say: Good luck to Russia! Destroy the evil merchants of the West that only succeed by fraud! Killing the Hydra that devastates the world with its soulless hybris and hypocrisy does only work with fire. Go ahead and destroy what´s necessary to eradicate the Empire of lies. You have my sympathy. From the middle of western Europe: Hung Time HU
There are many US citizens who don’t at all like what is happening. The USA we thought we knew is long gone and something has to make it change for the better. The media and whoever infiltrated the USA is the Empire of Lies. I don’t know if you’re in the US or not, but I hear many, many — many more positive statements about Putin than I do of anyone in our government, except Trump. I’m concerned whether or not the US will have a capable, democratic election system in the next few years.
“I’m concerned whether or not the US will have a capable, democratic election system in the next few years”.
Where would it get such a thing from? It never had one before.
Absolutely. That electoral college and recent states driven electoral law changes have embedded and exacerbated the in built Republican bias in the system
Dear Myth,
yes of course, and I do know this. The more they defend this democracy, the more they show it ain´t even near to such. And that had been proven by research.
But I know also how you feel to watch these political creeps and thugs. So do I.
Yours, Hung
Total war is war against the civilian population in order to destroy the military potential of the enemy. As such, it was long ago established as being a war crime. The US committed total war against the First Peoples of North America, against the whites (and incidentally their slaves) in the American Civil War, probably in the war on the Phillipines though I have no data, icertainly n WW2 when the US fire-bombed Tokyo and killed 250,000 civilians in a week, and when the US nuked Hiroshima which had no military targets, in the Korean War where the US fire-bombed all the urban areas and burned to death 2 million civilians and this was never mentioned in the MSM, then in Vietnam by massive spraying both jungle and rice fields with Agent Orange, in Yugoslavia by destroying a bridge over the Danube far to the north of any military area and by bombing a train that carried civilians, in Iraq by destroying the electric grid which caused a million people to die from disease since the sewage pumping grid used electricity, and in Syria by destroying all seven bridges over the Euphrates to cut off the wheat fields of NE Syria, etc. So it’s accurate to say Washington has always used total war. It’s fair to say that most Americans have not recognized this horrible truth because they do not want to.
The US war crimes are legion. The fact that they have been somehow “accepted” and not acted upon, seen but not heard like Victorian children, openly condemned and damned by the world, was put brilliantly into words by Harold Pinter, passages that were recently posted here. Bertrand Russell’s “War Crimes in Vietnam”(1967) is also a neglected masterpiece of condemnation. How his letters were censored by the New York Times is testimony to how the US media cover up and distort the reporting of such crimes and directly lead us to Wiki Leaks and Julian Assange’s current incarceration. I just wanted to add Korea to this infamous list of yours, a passage from Tariq Ali’s diary (2012) recounting the last time the US bombed Pyongyang:
“Then I remembered that what General Curtis LeMay had threatened to do to North Vietnam had already been done to North Korea: it had been bombed into the Stone Age. There were no protests in the West against the heavy bombing of Pyongyang at only 15 minutes’ notice: 697 tons of bombs were dropped on the city, 10,000 litres of napalm; 62,000 rounds were used for ‘strafing at low level’.
https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v34/n02/tariq-ali/diary
The demonization won’t work for long though, it’s too extreme to feel genuine. I’m seeing more and more people realizing the one-sided pummeling of information (read propaganda) has no logic to defend its assertions, only raw display of emotions and namecallings. And people remember the Irak and Koweit wars and many others. Many pro-liberals outlets are flooded with comments regarding Donbass massacres and Azov bataillions, and the useful idiots of Davos are deluded enough to cry we’re all russian bots, but obviously it’s not the case.
The longer this war goes on, the more the official narrative will crumble. It’s because western mainstream medias unanimously censored any dissident voice, and their zeal destroyed any semblance of credibility they had. Even RT occasionally has articles going against the interests of the Russian governement, in Occident we have nothing of the sort.
What if Russia demonstrates one of its newest weapons based on new physical principles?
Directed energy beam weapons?
They were part of my platform 34 years ago when I ran against Phil Graham when he switched parties.
It was part of my platform before Reagan announced it as national policy and the media dubbed it “Star Wars”.
Aaron Mate of Greyzone says (in a tweet) that it is possible that Russia bombed the Mariupol theatre. His best friend at Greyzone, Max Blumenthal, wrote a false article that Hillary Clinton quoted as part of her justification for bombing Libya. For a full list of all of the nefarious things that Mate, Blumenthal and Norton have done and said, check out Aunt BB and Scott Creighton. Greyzone are Deep State snakes!!
Aaron Mate is a little lost but he tries. Greyzone? Ben Norton left a month or so ago. He is dedicated to a different kind of reporting now. Be careful who you accuse. What false article?
Max Blumenthal wrote an article stating that the movie “Innocence Of Muslims” was the cause of the attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi. Which Hillary Clinton quoted in the lead up to the NATO attack on Libya.
In an interview with Jay Paul of TRNN, Max Blumenthal said “The Assad regime is responsible for as many as !0,000 deaths in order to stay in power”.
It was a consulate. The embassy is in Tripoli.
There was a video that the administration (Clinton included) said was the cause of the radicals attacking the consulate and killing her dear boy, the ambassador. Susan Rice repeated the bullshit story in testimony and pressers.
In order to stay in power, Assad fought hundreds of thousands of rebels, AQ and ISIS. The Syrians killed 10,000 of them. All true.
Great irony. Thousand of the original rebels against Assad in Deraa, are now a unit that may be coming to fight with the LDNR. Putin and Shoigu have approved.
In the same interview, Max Blumenthal says that the Houla massacre “was part of the campaign of suppression inside Syria to crush what I consider to be a legitimate attempt to remove a dictator”.
He also says “The Assad regime was running an institution of torture in prisons”.
The Obama regime was running an institution of torture in prisons.
FTFH.
And the Trump and Biden regimes have continued doing so, just as the Bush (both) and Clinton regimes did before.
Projection, thy name is Washington.
After the Sept 11 attacks Uncle Sam hired Assad regime to torture Canadian citizen Maher Arar. Mr Arar was in New York City on a layover when he was kidnapped by US goons and sent to Syria for interrogation.
This is a well-documented case covered by many articles on the web. Canada eventually apologized and paid Mr Arar $10 million. US never apologized or admitted guilt.
“In order to stay in power, Assad fought hundreds of thousands of rebels, ”
In order to prevent AQ and ISIS coming to power.
How do you know that the people coming to fight with the LDNR were not on the side of Assad?
““In order to stay in power, Assad fought hundreds of thousands of rebels…”
As did Abraham Lincoln (who actually killed hundreds of thousands of Confederates). What’s the point being made?
“Which Hillary Clinton quoted in the lead up to the NATO attack on Libya.” NATO’s barbaric war on Libya commenced on March 19, 2011, almost 11 years ago. Qaddafi was brutally executed, publicly, to Hillary’s delight, on October 20, 2011. The Benghazi incident occurred on September 11-12, 2012.
Timing is important here. While I don’t have time to post all the links to back it up, Benghazi was about covering up Libyan arms transfers to ISIS. The initial CIA-backed insurgency in Syria dates from about July 2011. At that time already the Empire was transferring weapons from Libya arms depots to radical Salafists in Syria, using them as a proxy army to defeat al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army. I think Ambassador Stephens found out about these arms transfers and was going to expose them. His last visitors before his murder were the Saudis. I think their task was to try to bribe him to stay quiet. He refused. Hours later he was murdered, by Hillary’s proxy terrorists that had also murdered Qaddafi and destroyed Libya in the name of the Empire (“there shall be only one”).
CalDre, Thank you for providing the correct time line. Instead of saying that Hillary quoted Max Blumenthal’s article as a justification for bombing Libya, I should have said that Hillary quoted Max Blumenthal’s article to obfuscate the real reason for the US consulate attack in Benghazi.
Give it a rest. For ML communists, Grayzone boys dont do too bad a job. They are highly skeptical of legacy media and reliable anti-imperialists. They dont get Tibet right, but nobody does. It’s a small operation and theyre getting better. Theyve gotten a few things wrong, but outright dismissal as “gatekeepers” is groundless.
What’s the deal with Tibet though? I only know what the MSM says about the Chinese being dicks and the Tibetans being victims.
There were 3 parties wanting to secure the Libyan arms stock pile in Banghazi, Gaddafi, the terrorists and CIA/MI6.
Michael B Kelly, Business Insider, 3rd November 2012:
“The US effort in Benghazi was at its heart a CIA operation (it was a joint operation with MI6). The State Department presence in Benghazi provided diplomatic cover for a hidden CIA mission, which involved finding and re-purchasing heavy weaponry looted from the Libyan government’s arsenals, specifically the 20,000 MANPADS SA-7, surface-to-air anti-aircraft.
A Libyan ship, the Al Entisar, carrying at least 400 tons of cargo, docked in southern Turkey on 6th September 2011, described as the largest consignment of weapons headed for Syria’s rebels on the frontlines. The man who organized that shipment, Tripoli Military Council head Abdelhakim Belhadj, worked directly with Christopher Stevens during the Libyan revolution.
Middle East expert, Walid Phares confirmed the ship was carrying “A lot of weapons. I think there’s no question that there’s a lot of networking going on. Unfortunately, many of those weapons shipped through Turkey to Syria ended up in the hands of al-Qaeda.”
Christopher Stevens’ last meeting on 11th September 2011, was with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin in Benghazi, to negotiate a weapons transfer in an effort to get the SA-7 missiles out of the hands of Libya-based extremists.”
US Ambassador Christopher Stevens was killed later that evening, along with three other Americans, in an attack on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, by Islamist militants.
Shortly after death of Qaddafi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced in Tripoli that the US was committing $40 million to help Libya secure and recover its weapons stockpiles.
Department of State Assistant Secretary Andrew Shapiro confirmed the DOS had a weapons buy-back program in Libya, that was also supported by the UK who gave $1.5 million, the Netherlands gave $1.2 million, Germany gave about $1 million and Canada gave $1.6.
Be careful who you trust, rather, Amarynth. No doubt such ‘journalists’ as Blumenthal are controlled opposition of the worst kind. It’s actually a typical example of how the Empire of Lies (i.e. big lies) works.
They’re not “a little lost” (that’s what we’re supposed to think), ‘coincidentally’ just when it really counts, but they’re simply CIA assets (pretending to be the opposite of what they are), created (and burned) specifically for such occasions.
Oh, baloney! Polniy chush!!
Norton, Blumenthal, Mate’, and the others at the Grayzone have been exemplary journalists as well as perceived “enemies” of the (US) state for years now. They’re good as gold!
Amarynth is quite correct.
If they’re good as gold then why did Mate say today that it’s possible that Russia bombed the Mariupol theatre and mass murdered civilians? Do You think it’s possible?
Yes! They are not always right.
Let’s just look at the tweet, to see clearly how this whole part of this thread trying to blackball the Greyzone is falsely presented, and acts like a real trollish method to change the conversation. Please note that nobody gives a link to the tweet in question because they leave out the second line. Here it is.
Possible that Russia indeed bombed the theatre in Mariupol, but worth noting that this warning below came three days ago.
Russia now claims that it “carried out no missions involving strikes on ground targets within Mariupol limits.” If that’s false, should be easy to prove.
https://twitter.com/aaronjmate/status/1504225860387315714
You can look at the first few comments there to see how this is being discussed.
All I can say, is stop trolling.
Be careful who you trust….the devil was once an angel!
Don’t think so. They are under incredible pressure and sometimes succumb to the “yes, but'[ syndrome instead od directly attacking everything their interlocaters say. They are attempting to get the Truth out, but facing an enormous uphill battle.
Aaron, Blumenthal
From the planet of Zion
Putin seams to work seriously on the matter of Zion
The media campaign against him is unprecedented
Means the Dark Lord RottenChild himself got angry on Putin 🇷🇺
Long live Russia and let Karma finally take his toll on the RottenChilds
👏👏👏👏
People that want to fight their personal likes and dislikes here must just stop it.
If you don’t like these people, go and tell them. Don’t use the Saker Site for this. You’re like a bunch of old women gossipers talking nonsence.
Gilad Atzmon has long criticized Max Blumenthal. This search string will show you: site:https://gilad.online/writings “max blumenthal”
Sorry I got this a bit wrong. My link (above) takes you to Gilad Atzmon’s writings, which is itself valuable since that page is usually not listed on his home page. But I meant to offer a search string for your favorite search engine. Here it is: site:gilad.online/writings “Max Blumenthal”
If you aren’t familiar with Gilad Atzmon, he’s very worth knowing. He is an ex-Zionist, ex-Israeli and ex-Jew, all for the most honorable of reasons. He cuts through the junk. He says his profession is “to refine the question.” He attracts lightning because he stands out above the crowd. He has the most accurate understanding of this thing we inaccurately lump together as Jews. The man is fearless in telling the truth, no matter who is offended.
Open an in public and you’re not Gilad Atzmon, Cosimo. Not like what is happening here, a baseless attack on others that has nothing to do with this thread.
Just for final information, the one Russian diplomat to the UN, Dmitry Polanski has just retweeted Aaron Mate’s tweet that was cowardly half reported here. And nobody even knows of Mate’s work and testimony at the UN on the Douma Assad is gassing his own people.
Just for information for all the concern trolls, I don’t work on trust. I work on verifiable and reliable data.
Geez, its like people have taken leave of their senses. I don’t like saying this, but please believe me, it is better to shut this line of inquiry down now! In other words, no more comments on this issue from unverifiable and unreliable reporters. Stop!
Several years ago Max Blumenthal publicly acknowledged that he got the Syria war wrong at the beginning. He has been excellent on it since then. I give him credit for being able to see and correct his mistake.
But, were you not worried in 2007 when Putin caution all the world Russia will not accept NATO’s expansion. See You Tube video of speech titled, “Putin’s famous Munich Speech 2007”.
RF cannot restablish the pre-1997 security establishment without war, and war means nuclear strikes on the RF and USA homelands. Both militaries understand that and neither will allow it at present. The most dangerous situation lies in the Baltic States. One can only hope both sides tread lightly there; it is a very, very dangerous situation.
The spasm of hate from Europe was a reflexive reponse to what they see in the future. Think a Ruthenian badlands terrorizing the Polish east, a Germany forced to chose between Russian energy or Nato bases and an increasingly assertive Serbia in the Balkans. This is unavoidable now and Western politicians are fixated almost exlusively on allocating blame away from themselves. In the USA it is mostly playacting; they know the RF has already won and are merely finding a practical way to profit from it. That nation has already turned its attention to China.
What if Russia decides and announces that it will not renew existing energy contracts in Europe after their expiry unless the countries exit NATO and pass laws criminalizing hate speech against Russians? Then they have a choice: either stay in NATO and court physical danger of Russian missiles and economic pain and consequent social stress or give up membership of an impotent club of dubious credentials and have a peaceful society and growing economy. In either case, Russia wins. In the first case by having a clearly declared and unmasked enemy, against which it can take decisive steps and not get distracted by its fifth column harping on an ambiguity. In the second case by rolling back borders of NATO and decreasing publicly expressed Russophobic propaganda..
They will stay in NATO even at the cost of killing their population believe me, otherwise they will be assassinated by gladio.
Imagine the degree of prostitution, Biden will ‘lead’ next week extraordinary ..EU(yes EU not US not even NATO) council meeting.
It reminds me Biden in Kiev asking to get rid in the next hour of the general procureur of Ukraine, because of Hunter’s burisma deal.
The EU is just an occupied colony with no say at all. Canon fodders like ukies to ‘save’ merika.
It’s funny (in a bitter sort of way) to reflect that the individual US states have far more autonomy than the European nations. And purely because of the treasonous leaders who have sold us out for a few pieces of silver. (Or suitcases full of dollars).
I think you are right – such is the nature of living in a psychocracy.
“Western politicians are fixated almost exlusively on allocating blame away from themselves”.
So the only reasonable response is to try them and (if found guilty of treason) to hang them.
Biden doesn’t have the nuclear football. The highest command generals don’t acknowledge him as commander in chief. We are in “continuity of government” and the military is operating out of the International Manual for the Law of War. American branches of government are a captured entity. It is Devolution now. Until the military makes it’s move. Everything done in accordance with international and constitutional law. Crystal Mountain has been sealed up since the biological attack of 2020. Things are about to get real interesting in America.
You seem to be very well informed. May I ask what is this Devolution situation ? You would have references to substantiate or illustrate your words. Thank you for your input.
Russia doesn´t really need any US guarantees anymore. That was put forward by Russia in December, as an opportunity for the US and NATO to voluntarily and diplomatically solve the problem they created. That was Plan A. Since they refused, Russia has moved to solve the problem by itself, directly. Can NATO really expand East now, and will be allowed to expand East? I doubt it. The gloves have come off, and Russia will stop it. Already happened in Kazakhstan a few months ago. NATO expansion into ukraine itself has been canceled. So if you step back, some important Russian aims have been accomplished.
That is one ginormous cauldron forming …
You would think they would learn. Forget Stalingrad, that was 7+ decades ago. They got caught in at least 2 cauldrons in 2014. What is with Nazis and refusing to retreat to areas more easily defended?
I think they had built so many hardened bunkers next to D&L that they thought they were invincible. Not once you run out of ammo, food, water, fuel it isn’t. That or the just can’t learn from history, recent or distant past.
I imagine it’s the eternal problem: civilian high command. Hitler, whom his soldiers took to calling (ironically) the GROKAZ (Groesster Kampffuehrer Aller Zeit = “Greatest Warlord of All Time”), habitually issued stringent orders that such-and-such a city was to be declared a “fortress” and defended to the last man – his strategic thinking was stuck in the era of Verdun, when he had his experience of war at the front.
Western politicians are accustomed to ordering that what they want must be brought about, by whatever means – the means are up to the pond life below them.
That is why the cauldrons happened in 2014. The politicians ordered grand armoured attacks, neglected to supply the columns with ammo, fuel or even food, and then abandoned them as a toddler abandons a broken toy.
I think Mr Putin understands military matters enough to negoatiate sensitively with this generals. He would state the political objectives, they suggest plans for accomplishing them, and eventually everything is agreed. That way it is assured that the armed forces achieve what the government requires, without having to undertake anything too risky or impossible.
Agreed. And not just this military operation in Ukraine, but the game-planning since Putin has been in office shows thorough teamwork, analysis of global politics and military capabilities. The RF has a great team working on its sovereignty and security. They’ve obviously thought it through. Or through and through.
Best wishes to all the Russian soldiers on the front line! We keep them in our prayers and in our hearts!
We in the West have to cope with the “clown” Zel. who in front of the American Congress was short of asking for WWIII.
Yes. Thank you for this. Prayers for the Russian Soldiers too.
Amen
I read here the other day that Russian officers must be clean shaven, although with exceptions. Is Colonel Daniel a Chechen perhaps?
Yes. Those are Chechens.
His name is Russian. He’s either embedded with a Chechen unit or a half-Chechen (like Vladislav Surkov)
the myth of the “golden billion” is collapsing
I’m assuming this means the world can support 8 billion people at a much higher standard of living if allowed to do so. This is a new term to me.
Or maybe the phrase meant to say that the world can no longer support an elite one billion people who think they are “golden” at the expense of the rest of the world?
As an environmentalist who is familiar with the numbers, I personally see a world population unable to sustain itself over time at its present rate of consumption. The majority of the consumption is done by a gluttonus few. Not a subject to delve into here, but suffice to say if the people keep on engaging in wars, and a few people think they can stand above the rest to the detriment of many, these most difficult issues will never be properly addressed. I believe it was the Buddist Monk Thich Nhat Hanh who said he saw a few chickens pecking over a few grains not realizing that they were all about to be slaughtered.
The term “golden billion” is new to me also. It would be interesting if we could get a greater context as well as some elaboration on what Putin meant here.
This article may be of interest:
“Midwestern US has lost 57.6 billion metric tons of soil due to agricultural practices, study finds”
https://phys.org/news/2022-03-midwestern-lost-trillion-metric-tons.html
That quantity of soil (lost since farming began 160 years ago) was established by comparing the level of agricultural land with that of the surrounding prairie. It corresponds to nearly 2 mm per year, or about 1 foot in all. The researchers put the main blame on ploughing.
No wonder they want to export Ukraine’s black soil…
There’s enough space and resources to maintain ten times the population but if you’re a member of the elite you probably don’t want that competition.
In gangster parlance, one is “golden” when all is he’s at his best; you da man. Maybe the golden billion is shit that Klaus Schwabb taught him in the cloak room long ago. The golden billion would be on the top of the heap when the shit went down. Maybe Putin is signaling the world economic forum that he no longer believes.
The “golden billion” is Russian slang. золотой миллиард. It means the relatively wealthy people found in the Western nations. It refers to the “middle class” that live in nice homes, drive nice cars, and are affluent.
I am a little embarrassed that I have to translate this idiom on the Saker. I usually translate Chinese. I think that Andrei (and I have the greatest respect for him, I really do) made a little mistake assuming that Westerners understood direct machine translations of Russian idioms.
Here’s another idiom from the article.
Не стоит переходить от больной головы к здоровой is an idiom that translates to “it is not necessary to shift from a sick head to a healthy one.”
Many people have the bad habit of blaming others for their own faults. As a result, they do not know how to accept their own mistakes and are accustomed to blaming others for their troubles. The Russian idiom “to fall from a sick head to a healthy one.” refers to this behavioral aberration.
And now, I want to say that Andrei and the Saker is my daily go-to blog. It is the best, and perhaps only place to understand what is transpiring before the world. Keep up the great work.
My rough translations of the idioms are intended to assist in understanding, not to disparage the author in any way.
Translator here myself, Japanese to English. The Saker’s machine translations of very important texts are excellent and necessary, even if some of the idioms don’t quite make it through the fog. Thanks for your clarifications.
” Arrests of foreign assets of the Russian Federation and business – a lesson for Russian entrepreneurs, there is nothing more reliable than investments at home”
And
” Moreover, they themselves question the economic model that has been imposed on developing countries in recent decades. Yes, in general, the whole world. ”
Brilliant !
It is becoming clear the neoliberal globalists have overplayed their hand.
Other countries must be seriously thinking that a world without Russia and China . That they could very easily be next on the censorship/ cancel list.
How easy it would be to get thrown into Guantanamo Bay just because of your political views.
…distrust in Uncle Shmuel has reached the point where even their Arabian minions now wish they could join Russia, Iran, China front. we must help them just do it without any problems.
This speech by Putin is exactly why I personally think the analysis just posted by guest analyst Ramin Mazaheri is completely wrong. Sure, I respect the divergent view point and it’s good to read others’ opinions. But Russia has chosen the side of truth, it didn’t choose the side of “PR” and western marketing gimmicks. Russia simply doesn’t operate in this way, creating fancy, snazzy western style PR campaigns that either lie, obfuscate, mislead, or exaggerate things just for the sake of winning some “PR war” on twitter. Russia couldn’t give a damn less about this. The ONLY people Russia owes the “TRUTH” to is its own citizens, the rest of the world BE DAMNED. Russian citizens know the truth about the Nazis in Ukraine and about what this operation is about. Everyone else can stay in their pitiable echochambers on twitter and in their little hologram “Meta” worlds.
@Nightvision
Yes, agreed.
And in deciding to give the truth to its people and not try to break into the monopoly on propaganda that the west possesses, Russia actually creates a whole new paradigm – one that says, you don’t have to fight lies with anything. You can simply build a new world without lies.
And then let the lies – and the liars – see how well they can fend for themselves when all the world built on truth simply ignores them.
Paradigm shift. Sea change. New game.
This is a model that very seriously inspires most of the world today, I believe.
EXACTLY!
Sort of like Pinocchio discovering how his nose keeps growing whenever he tells lies! Good!
Also, lies will reveal themselves to be lies by themselves and it will be apparent that they are lies to those who can discern it.
Inconsistencies offer an opportunity to pry lies from truth. Enmity is a signal that lies are not far off. Self-delusion and hysteria will result in the babbling of lies. There is also willful ignorance. We have a saying, “der gescheitere schweigt”. The wiser one will remain silent.
Well said, thoroughly agree.
Substance always triumphs over style in the long run.
The measuring stick is not the opinion of some brainwashed consumer of western PR. They are now in a clear minority which doesn’t count.
Even in the short run, most of the world is onto their endless lies and no longer trusts MSM. The hype and hysteria has become nauseating and toxic.
In fact most of mankind is either praying for Russia or cursing the Empire which laid waste to much of Earth. Karma is real; those on the receiving end of such global ill-will are doomed. Like poor illiterate Yemenis still fighting on against all odds, most instinctively know who is the real enemy behind all the proxies..
Regards,
@NightVision: “Sure, I respect the divergent view point and it’s good to read others’ opinions. But Russia has chosen the side of truth,”
Agreed. Russia knows the real meaning of the word “de-Nazification” because in WW2 it was Soviet Russia that had to do the main work of de-Nazifying Europe: smashed 80% of the Nazi Wehrmacht (which Britain, France and the U$A had helped to build up), liberated Auschwitz and stopped Nazi genocide in Poland, liberated the rest of East Europe from Nazi occupation, liberated East Germany from the Hitler regime, and hung the Communist flag on the Reichstag.
The people of the world will always be grateful to Soviet Russia for her tremendous sacrifice in stopping and reversing the advance of German fascism in WW2, whose prelude was the Spanish Civil War. There was a documentary series “The Unknown War” made about the great battles that were fought between the Red Army and the Wehrmacht on the Eastern front, which used to be available on YouTube (and probably still is). There was also a film made on the heroic defense of the Brest Fortress (whose defenders fought to the last man and woman), which delayed the German advance towards Moscow by a few weeks. This delay proved to be crucial to the eventual turning of the tide of war at Stalingrad.
Great point about lies.
My thinking exactly. Russia doesn’t need to lie and cheat and steal. So why do it? It’s a slippery slope:
“Oh what a tangled web we weave
When first we practice to deceive”.
– Sir Walter Scott
Besides, what difference does it make if the Western lies deceive all the Western citizens? They have no power – not even any influence over their own governments. Does anyone believe that US or UK citizens would be consulted before the politicians press their various buttons to start a war? Of course not.
As someone once remarked intelligently, “If voting made any difference, it would be illegal”.
In a video of today, Scott Ritter thinks that, when you combine all Neo-Nazi, mercenaries, & foreigners soldiers, that the total comes out to about 260,000 troops.
Ritter stated there were far fewer Russian troops in The Ukraine.
Is that accurate? Anybody?
That certainly sounds believable because Russia allegedly only brought somewhere around 150k max troops to Ukraine, and the Ukrainian armed forces alone had 150k+ and this is not counting all the supposedly “tens of thousands” of mercenaries flooding in. With that said, the LDNR forces also have an additional 20-40k give or take, and I’m not sure if the initial counts included all the thousands of Chechens that continue to arrive. Either way in general, most likely Ukraine does have the pure numbers upper hand for now BUT a lot of their forces still remain in reserve in the far West according to reports. i.e. around Lyvov and/or Odessa. Ukraine continues to mobilize via forced conscription, and they are getting desperate now with reports stating they are taking brand new 18 year olds and sending them up with only 3 days training off the streets. So there may be as many as 50k or more of their troops still in the far west towards the Polish border, so on the actual frontlines Russia may have a troop advantage or it may be roughly similar.
Also to keep in mind, Russian official estimates claim over 20,000 Ukie troops already killed in action, but there’s no telling how accurate this number is. It certainly seems quite high to be fully believable to me, but anything’s possible given how strongly Russia has been bombing Ukraine’s military sites in the past week.
Andrei Martyanov estimated that RF forces are just half of those of UAF. And still they have cut off links of most UAF forces in east.
100,000 of them are sitting in a cauldron without food ammo or local citizen support. The other 100,000 has no military strength nor communications.
Ritter said the Russian forces in Ukraine were outnumbered 3 to 1. He estimated total Ukrainian forces including reservist at just under 600,000 while the Russina Task Force at 190,000 the full force being brought to bear only in recent days.
He went on to say though Ukrainian forces putting up a good fight casualty rates are 6 Ukrainians for every 1 Russian, the Ukrainina shave lost all command structure above divisional level and the coherent units still in field are not being resupplied, running out of ammo, fuel and replacement parts. The bulk of Ukraine’s front line elite troops, some 60,000 men have been encircled into two groups, “cauldrons”, in the Donbass.
The thing is, any country which declares an official “MOBILIZATION” can technically bring up hundreds of thousands or even millions of troops very fast. Ukraine is a very populated state with close to 50 million people.
see https://www.globalfirepower.com/country-military-strength-detail.php?country_id=ukraine
Here you can that not only do they have ~200k active personnel, but allegedly 250k reserve with another 50k ‘paramilitary’, and a whopping 15,000,000 “fit for service” which are people within the age range which can technically be “mobilized” and trained at any time. And given the fact that martial law was already declared with full mobilization and in fact fighting age males are NOT allowed to leave Ukraine currently, that means they can mobilize a lot more than what they currently have.
The only issue is most of the mobilization as I understand it is being done in the far west of the country, and it can be argued a huge mobilized force doesn’t mean too much if you have no equipment at all, since Russia is destroying the vast majority of Ukrainian military equipment (Vietcong notwithstanding). So it’ll remain to be seen how effective their fresh untrained conscripts are, and how well they can even get to the frontlines without much equipment to get them there in a timely or safe fashion.
This is a very inflated and optimistic statistic. Even Wikipedia wouldn’t agree. 50 mil is a number from around 1980. Currently without Crimea and Donbas, Ukrainian population is around 36 mil of which couple of millions working age males work in Poland and other UE countries. Also, 23% of the population are not ethnic Ukrainians, these are hiding from conscription and won’t make effective fighting force in any case.
You are very correct. But with that said, the “official” number of people still within compulsory enlistment age nevertheless remains within the MILLIONS technically speaking, even if it may not be 15 million as per that site, it may still be a few million of potentials. Sure, realistically they will never get millions to sign up probably even by force, but I’m mostly speaking of hypotheticals. My point was simply that, at the end of the day, a country that is utilizing full compulsory mobilization will always have the raw force advantage in numbers over a country that is only utilizing its nominal professional service. With that said, of course I believe Russia can and will still win against a fully “mobilized” Ukraine but it will be difficult, and the outstanding force differential is still something that should be noted and acknowledged.
If I were you, I wouldn’t be so sure about all such percentages.
You’ll be surprised but if everything will start going without destructive influence of the “West” on that territory from now on, then in a relatively short time it will show that let’s say only 10% will determine themselves as Ukrainians and let’s say 80% will “become” Russians.
On one hand this is because they all are Russians actually, like we may say that Americans and Australians are English and on the other hand a lot about Ukraine is a fake. Even Ukrainian nation is a fake being tried to be built by violence and beasty rage.
If I’d explain it shortly I would say that Ukrainian are actually Russians that stuck in rural communities. Even Galicians-Червоная Русь (the west part of current Ukraine) are Russians but with much MUCH more complicated and tragic background and history when it was just a chess pawn in numerous geopolitical games against Russia.
I’m not sure, but it is good to keep context in mind: the Russians have air, artillery, armor, naval and probably intelligence superiority. With those kind of force multipliers, you can do a whole lot even with relatively few soldiers.
Plus, as others have pointed out, having a lot of troops isn’t that helpful if they’re trapped in a cauldron.
Cortes and Pizarro conquered the Aztec and Inca empires with a few hundred soldiers. The indigenous rulers had many thousands of men and millions of subjects.
Superior technology is very important, but mainly because it contributes to speed of action, grasping and keeping the initiative.
Probably no army in the world, no matter how big, could resist for long after losing control of the air as completely as Ukraine did in the first few hours.
Let the world hear what the 34,000+ civilians released from Mariupol have to say about the National Guard of Ukraine which held them captive.
Does anyone have a link to videos/statements by the released civilians??

This one is current, but I’m disappointed at how few there are
To Nightvision: What’s the real story on those Turkish drones? Have they really been able to inflict that much damage? Why are they so difficult to take down or was this something that just happened in the first week.
Thanks!
This is one of the easiest answers:
-On the opening night of strikes the vast majority of Tb2 Bayraktar drones was destroyed. Only a few that were either hidden in bunkers or in Romania/Poland managed to survive. Over the course of the next few days those drones were guided by American 24/7 satellite intel and E3 sentries/awacs on Polish border, which helped the operators to exploit slight gaps in Russian air defense. This allowed them to sneak in and get a few strikes. If you actually compile every single *ALLEGED* Tb2 strike video, there are only about 3-4 separate strikes, with some of the videos showing the same strike but from different angles. There was a convoy strike (several angles) onto a supply truck and there was the infamous Buk2 strike on a Buk Telar. There was one more that seemed like something in a forest which is hard to tell if it’s a separate incident/strike or part of one of the other 2. The TB2’s in those cases were destroyed
-One of those other strikes was from days later when Turkey sent a new shipment of TB2’s funded by the emergency funds from U.S. congress to Ukraine. Those were destroyed also and then a few days ago I believe a 3rd wave of Tb2’s possibly arrived but I haven’t seen a single new footage of any strikes.
So in general, to answer your question. The TB2’s are being easily destroyed as soon as they get to the air but Ukraine continues to get infinite shipments of them. Keep in mind Congress has already delivered over 15 billion $$ in monetary aid to Ukraine, money of that money as pure cash (rather than materiel) which allows them to keep paying for these. Like I said, ultimately, if you count the actual TB2 strikes there are like 3-4 total which is nothing, a minor statistical anomaly considering that Ukraine had total now probably 30-40 TB2’s which were all destroyed in successive waves. And also considering the fact that in other conflicts like Nagorno-Karabak and Syria there were dozens if not hundreds of videos of destructions.
So total, no they haven’t been able to inflict any damage whatsoever. Maybe 2 supply trucks total, 1 Buk2 Telar and one other indeterminate type of vehicle in a forest. And I’m not saying this out of some exaggerated ‘fanboyism’ of Russia, in fact I will readily admit Ukrainian artillery on the other hand has been extremely successful and has inflicted very disproportionate losses on RF forces, partly owing to the fact they have a lot of zeroed in TRP’s (target registered points) given that they’re on home turf and thus have certain sections of roads and other areas exactly zeroed in by their artillery, so when a Russian convoy passes, they can easily hit the precise spot. So I will readily admit where there are losses and for what reasons, but when it comes to TB2’s, they have been utterly insignificant in the fight so far and have all been decimated by Russian air defense.
I don’t somehow understand this – Turkey keeps sending Bayraktar drones to fight against Russia and on the other side, they “develop” trade relationships and S-400 purchase deals!!! And perhaps talk about more defense purchases. Is this a hypocrisy or a planned strategy, or are forced to do it because of being a NATO member?
It is strange to me that you don’t understand this. This is an extremely common occurrence worldwide with almost any country. Even Russia maintains “good relations” with Israel while supplying Israel’s enemies with weapons (giving S300 to Iran and helping arm Hezbollah indirectly). These sorts of contradictory alliances are unfortunately quite common in the vast web of territorial ‘interests’ of major sovereigns.
In fact Russian and Turkish troops just conducted the latest of their joint patrols together in Syria https://twitter.com/NPA_English/status/1503405763347324931
And in fact the Russian trucks even painted Z’s on themselves, so Turkish trucks are riding around in joint patrols side by side with Russian “Z” trucks.
But in general to answer your question, this is an unavoidable eventuality due to Turkey’s complex position as a bridge between ‘east’ and ‘west’. Turkey is only a nominal member of NATO but in fact has a lot of disagreements with U.S. not least of which is the fact (to give another example of the strangeness) Turkey’s arch enemies are the Syrian Kurds and yet they are one of the top U.S. allies which U.S. supports and arms (against their own NATO partner Turkey).
The bottom line is because Turkey has its own historic interests and doesn’t fully trust either side Russia or NATO and is forced to make agreements with both only in areas that benefit Turkey, and then act AGAINST both in other areas if it benefits Turkey’s interests. Remember, Assad is Erdogan’s arch enemy, whom Erdogan considers as worst than ISIS. And Russia openly helps, funds, arms Assad. So it is no different than Turkey arming Ukraine. Same goes for the Armenia/Azerbaijan crisis and the Nagorno-Karabakh war last year. Russia fully supported and armed Armenia and Turkey fully supported and armed Azerbaijan.
As for the reason why Turkey helps Ukraine, well it’s not simply to go against Russia for no reason, or because Turkey is a NATO member. No, Turkey’s support of Ukraine stems from the fact that Crimea (in the eyes of Turkey) is a historically Tartar region (a Turkic people) and Turkey believes Russia has kicked out and displaced the Tartars to whom Crimea region rightfully belongs. So Turkey in that way is not in agreement with Russian activities vis a vis Crimea. You can read up more on this here to understand the historical significance of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimean_Khanate
and maybe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimean_War
Try reading Machiavelli (e.g. “The Prince”). He explains it all very clearly.
Warning: if you have any morality, you may feel slightly sick as you read on. Machiavelli is addressing rulers who have absolute no scruples or compunctions, but want onlt to get power and keep it. They would literally murder their own families if that could get them an advantage.

“The people will be able to distinguish patriots from scum and traitors and just spit them out like a fly that accidentally flew in. The natural self-purification of society will strengthen our country.”
Succinct and to the point. I believe there are many here in Zone A that also believe this, especially in the U.S.
I found this essay by a certain Rolo Slavskiy on Unz of his interpretation of the Ukie political situation since independence:
https://www.unz.com/article/draining-the-ukrainian-political-swamp/
Anyone know about this Rolo? Interesting article with some depth – except for the part when he threw people under the bus in his underplaying the the Ukronazi battalions:
“The bloggers who have been bellowing about UkroFascists!!! and the “nazification” of Ukraine on the internet for the last 10 years are probably talking about these people and their takeover of the security structures.”
It’s possible gent got hohol’d by his own supply. Those aren’t daisies waved in the Azov parades despite google image scrubbing.
Saker: Even in machine translation, the man is remarkably dignified (and credible)!
Meanwhile, our US president is “passing the buck”, blaming Mister Putin for our outrageous inflation that began long before this special military operation.
And our “illustrious” congress has annexed all our Covid funding to send to the “glorious heroes” of Ukraine. They even gave Zelensky a standing ovation!
Sickening.
Does anyone know how I can encouraging letters to the Russian troops? The Russian version of Red Cross or something?
if you find out let us know please.
Haven’t found that one yet – I’d like to know too. But there is this one for sending message to the President, Presidential Executive Office or an official within the Presidential Executive Office:
http://en.letters.kremlin.ru/letters/send
Kadyrov had a phone conversation today with President Putin.
Putin lauded the work of the Chechens. They have forces clearing neighborhoods in Mariupol, forces in Kiev region, and forces in Donbass. 12,000 so far, with tens of thousands ready to come if needed.
Putin directed him to have his men protect the children of Ukraine.
You can follow him on Telegram and VK. https://vk.com/ramzan
Russian ‘mainland’ forces might be doing the quiet work, but Chechens are becoming the stars of the show, with a flair for the theatrical and great PR. They are a wonderful force to have at your back.
The more shrill the voices in the west sound, the more I know that Russia is doing the right thing.
A MERCIFUL ANGEL
(ANTICHRIST)
The craziest people on the planet cannot give up the dictatorship of the world. They did everything to place their rockets on the borders of Russia, which may be the only serious obstacle for them to do what they want with the world, which can erase that obstacle before they become aware of what is happening. Before that, they tried in all the surrounding countries, in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan. Only a blind man does not see what is happening. They have been preparing Ukraine for years to turn it against Russia. They rocked the extremist national structure in it after they tore down the previous one. No distractions, calls for respect for previous agreements and concessions, did not give the Russians a chance to preserve their security and survival. On the contrary, according to the old custom, media war and lies to nonsense, so the one who has nowhere else to go, becomes an aggressor and a culprit when he needs to be lynched. Now they have led to the seesaw of human survival. They do not want peace, they encourage war, they send weapons to kill as many people as possible. It is no coincidence that they trained Nazi structures in Ukraine for 8 years. Who are these structures to resist not wearing a uniform, how did the Russians disappear there? The fickle Zelenski does not dress or undress in one mind, that is, he will act as long as he can. The American oligarchy is playing dangerously around the world. Unfortunately, the mass of shallow-minded people hysterically support the chase on everything that is Russian. He may support his downfall and cheer for his disappearance.
If NATO, as the only world power and overseas mad man, loses all power, what will the world look like tomorrow? Who will decide on the existence or disappearance of nations and states, who will be the master and who the slave, what will be the guarantee of life and its dignity? What is the fate of the world when we are already aware that the human population is seriously endangered by viruses and other biological agents? Is there a world way to shut down NATO? He is not a guarantor of peace, but a threat to the survival of humanity.
Google translation,MOD:
The “Angel of Mercy” appeared in Serbia on March 24, 1999. It’s going to be a sad anniversary. He destroyed hospitals, schools, media houses, bridges, post offices, power lines, targeted passenger trains, bombarded cities with cluster bombs, handed over tons of depleted uranium and committed other hitherto unseen evils. He killed about 2,500 civilians and wounded about 6,000, including 2,700 children. In Ukraine, that “Angel of Mercy” turned into the “Venerable Angel”. It offers weapons for prosperity, a better future for the world and general prosperity. The Christian faith says; he who does evil, and appears in the form of a benefactor, helper or savior, is not a man of God, he is the “Antichrist”, that is, the devil and for all his place.
Zdravo Vlastimire
I also often wonder what could possibly stop NATO. People who control this criminal organization are emotionless, wthout morality or honour. In fact I’m not even sure they could be called people. Instead, they should be called savagers, beasts.
Those creatures understand only one thing – brute force. And they are never going to stop causing and perpetrating crimes until London and Washington are threatened directly, publicly and very visibly.
However, we do know what this would mean, the kind of danger this would present to the world. I am hoping that somehow they will erode their own economy to the point where their bloodthirstiness is neutralized, before the drastic measures are needed.

“The whole planet has to pay for the ambitions of the West, the myth of the “golden billion” is collapsing.”
Whoever comes to process this words for what they really mean, should know that we are well in the new era where western world domination has come to a full stop. In fact, It is the West who is becoming isolated in its own empire of lies.
Godspeed Zone B!
Lookin like a lot of natzis in american gvt, since we now know its proper definition.
Remember what Putin, or was it Lavrov, said when asked if they were concerned about the nazis in Ukraine?
They said they were more worried about the nazis in Washington.
There is no possibility of any negotiated solution. Ukraine with the same command will be quickly rebuilt and militarized by NATO. Russia will have to take control of the country and close European and North American access to the country, either by closing or destroying all external access. Capitalist illusions are a disaster. as long as these illusions command the minds of Russian rulers, the country will have no way of imposing itself. Russia must once again be the reference point for social struggles against poverty and hunger, against imperialist exploitation. Outside of that, it will have no prospects of world leadership.
@ Aldino Graef
Outside of that, it will have no prospects of world leadership.
Excellent point.
Putin will be facing a crossroads at some point, I have no doubt the 5th/6th columns might be this early into the game already plotting a coup, an assassination, a color revolution. We can see the signs in those “peacenik” protestors posing for the West presstitutes while being arrested.
The path Russia has chosen to walk will be rocky, uphill, and dangerous, and with Russia, humanity’s hope for a better future is at stake.

I believe that it is only enough to lead from the application of Justice, in its broadest sense and also in the particular. In such a context, any economic platform will have the support of the vast majority.
I believe in freedom, but based on justice, that is, not based on the abuse of others
I see there is talk of negotiations reaching agreement on Ukraine’s neutral status etc. I am wary, because while this is being discussed Zelensky is busy holding zoom talks with the US Congress and parliaments of NATO members desperately trying to lure them into the war, e.g., requesting a No Fly Zone, fighter aircraft, and S-300 systems etc.
He is also being manipulative telling them if they do not intervene, then all blood spilled will be on their hands for doing nothing. He is also goading them by telling them they are weak. When told how NATO intervention would likely lead to WWIII and therefore NATO has no interest in doing so, he responds that WWIII has already begun, so what is the difference. What a piece of work. I bet the more intelligent ones see right through him and know that Z is just the political mouthpiece of Oligarch K etc.
All in all, he is working both sides, i.e., duplicitous. In other words Zelensky speaks with forked tongue. Hopefully Russia can get done what it must ASAP. Hopefully all the self confessed fascists in positions of power in Ukraine see their day in court too. They must answer for so many things, including repression adn the killing of 1000s in Donbas etc.
Come on give the man a break! He is only an actor. The only thing he is good at is memorizing and performing scripts handed over to him by his director. I doubt he has brains enough to be duplicitous or ambition enough beyond getting an applause from his audience.
@ Saker
Putin made an important speech today which the Russians officials are in no hurry to translate.
Thanks again for another update.
Not making too much of the map, it looks as if there is a “finger” going up north, “diddle, diddle, right up in the middle,” and it threatens to split the cauldron in two, or to open a logistic line of contact/communication.
Colonel Cassad report is readable, obviously there is lots lost in translation, we have to be satisfied with what we can get. Putin’s tone is getting harder, can notice that through the machine translation. Clearly, he is willing to match the Empire of Lies/Eurolemmings threats with fire. Russia is now engaged in yet another existential war, not much different than WWII, when the US/Eurolemmings were supporting Hitler not-so surreptitiously to “cancel” the Soviet Union.

Does anyone remember the shadowy mercenary group called “Forward Observations Group” that bragged on social media about arriving in Ukraine with this video?
https://twitter.com/MapsUkraine/status/1499632170159296513
They are a strange, shadowy outfit that pretends to be a mercenary “lifestyle brand”. But if you look up their videos on youtube, they apparently operated in Syria and are all U.S. ex-special forces. Many of their fanboys were posting about how FOG is going to decimate Chechens and Russian forces, and Russians would be “cannon-fodder” for these elite American ex-navy seals. They also proudly sport the old jolly roger standard as their emblem https://twitter.com/MapsUkraine/status/1499642448393510914
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/knAAAOSwH3lgy-Cw/s-l400.jpg
Well it turns out, most of the FOG group was slaughtered in the RF strikes on Yarov / Polish border.
Here’s a post of them crying on their social media for all their “lost” instructors and co-workers https://i.postimg.cc/YS9QtTVM/5303097357501577633.jpg
Here’s the report from Russian telegram channel:
“”Satanist mercenaries from PMC Forward Observations Group have completed their “mission” in Ukraine.
Finally, they report on their Instagram page that they have lost some of their friends, instructors and just acquaintances. They also promised that the “fucking animals” will answer for every life of these people with a thousand of their lives.
It turns out that most of the Forward Observations Group and their instructors died at the training ground in Yavoriv. The rest have already fled Ukraine.
Twitter users noted that the mercenaries behaved extremely arrogantly and too often boasted of future successes in the battle with the Russians.
Apparently, these “fighters” are quite worthy of the loser who is worshipped.
#Ukraine #Russia #USA #Satanists””
And most significantly, here’s their satanic patch ripped off one of the dead “elite” Americans as proof: https://twitter.com/MapsUkraine/status/1504155074016296961

Macron would harass NATO to declare war on Russia.
Several factors may suggest that NATO, despite its constant declarations of non-direct intervention in Ukraine, could decide to go to war against Russia. On the one hand, it is already known that NATO provides enormous material assistance in armaments to Ukraine. More than 17,000 anti-tank missile launchers, for example, have already been supplied, and the stocks are still as high as ever. On the other hand and above all, there are regular arrivals of heavy equipment at the borders of NATO countries. In the official hypothesis of a NO intervention, one wonders why this material is sent on site.
At the station in Amberg (Bavaria), a mass transfer of American BMP M2 Bradley armored vehicles from Germany to Poland was recorded.
Other elements provided by a high-ranking source at NATO and which cannot be revealed here abound in this direction. According to this source, the French President and the German Chancellor are the most virulent and “harass” (term used by the source) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in this sense.
Macron begins to dress like Zelenski… “warlord”…..!
We note that Zelensky for his part multiplies the requests to NATO to “close” Ukrainian airspace, suffering very heavy losses from Russian air attacks. So far NATO has refused but it is clear that the fall of Ukraine, which is beyond doubt under the existing conditions, would represent a heavy loss for the United States as a forward base in its fight against Russia. It would therefore be logical for NATO, the armed wing of the United States in Europe, to intervene to avoid what would be a catastrophe for Washington.
In Moscow, the American consulate once again “ordered” Americans to leave Russia, indicating that otherwise they would have to “manage without the help of the consulate”. Are Americans planning to close their consulate and embassy in Moscow in the event of a planned war with Russia?
According to the same source, a decision could be announced by NATO on March 24.
But it is also possible that Russia, seeing that NATO is about to attack it, decides to anticipate and strike first, just as it did in Ukraine (It was clear that Ukraine was going to attack the Donbass, Russia intervened before). Russia has indeed made it very clear that it will destroy the arms convoys destined for Ukraine. Today the United States said it was “studying” the possibility of delivering guided missiles to Ukraine for use against Russian tanks and artillery. In fact the decision is practically already taken, the American Congress is unanimously in favor of it.
It is therefore perfectly conceivable that Russia destroys these shipments before they are delivered to Ukraine. For example in Poland, a NATO member country.
* Sergey Naryshkin, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, said: “Our country is currently experiencing a truly historic moment. The fate of Russia and its future place in the world are being decided. Sovereignty has been and remains the main factor in the development of Russia, the heart of its millennial history. The right to independently, freely and consciously determine one’s own destiny. Sovereignty is a guarantee of the well-being and dignity of our fellow citizens, it is the future of our children. In these areas, Russia has never backed down and will not back down, because otherwise it will cease to be Russia. »
Important statement since Naryshkin is seen by some circles as a possible successor to Vladimir Putin. He specifies here once again that the conflict goes far beyond Ukraine but is a conflict of civilization.
BMW and Volkswagen have suspended car production at a number of European plants due to a shortage of Ukrainian-made components. Ukraine accounted for one-fifth of all Europe’s car electrical cable supplies. At the moment, it is not possible to quickly organize their production in other enterprises.
https://rusreinfo.ru/fr/2022/03/macron-harcelerait-lotan-pour-declarer-la-guerre-a-la-russie/
Macron will not be able to sell French or NATO involvement to France in any way so its a futile exercise.
He is facing election next month.
If it becomes clear that NATO is moving to strike, Russia needs to carefully assess all options and I think the best way is to take out the elites devils behind this. They always hide in the background. Macron being one of their operatives.
One also needs to keep in mind how the U.S. political system works. It is highly influenced by a monied group in New York City who influence the Federal government by lobbying the U.S. Congress. Interesting is that Ze’ spoke to the U.S. Congress today by video at Congress’ invitation. This monied group is heavily invested in the Ukraine, and is furious their pet project is being disturbed. Their intent is nothing less than the defeat of Russia, and control of the entire world. So, far the cooler minds in Washington D.C. are prevailing, but they are under intense pressure. It is hard to say if the wiser part in Washington will break. If it does we will see the U.S. engaging in the Ukraine more directly, and we all know what will come of that. (I truly hope not.)
This “monied group” are behind most of the world’s ills.
Zionism is a cancer and the most dangerous ideology today.
I seriously doubt the veracity of this. A lot of big french companies didn’t quit Russia, and Macron is on their payroll. He’s just boasting for his electoral campaign. I hope we can kick him out, but it’s an uphill battle.

You da man. Thanks for all your work, every word Putin enunciates these days is to be considered as history making. Putin is sounding more and more like the Saker.
This is, in their opinion, a sign of belonging to a higher caste, a higher race…”
…while in fact, they are considered snow niggers. Look at Abramovich being humiliated by the rotten Brits, while selling Chelsea (guess they gouged him), he announced he’s setting up a foundation to benefit all the victims of war in Ukraine.
How nauseating.
More than a dozen yachts have been seized from Russian oligarchs all over Eurostan. How many schools could have been built with the billions these snow niggers trying to belong to “a higher caste, a higher race,” are wasting in their luxuries? How many children fed? Educated?
Rotten pretenders, the Eurorodents will always consider them snow niggers, their money shields them from being kicked out like trespassers.

I believe we are witnessing the start of this great war…
@ v mark
No war is “great,” mind you. All wars are hell, humanity shouldn’t have to have wars, if it weren’t for greed and possessiveness. Power, domination, exploitation, Homo homini lupus est, are at the roots of all wars. There is no such a thing as a “great” war, all wars are abominable, however, humanity’s low level of evolution and perception of our planet as a source of wealth for a few, is the reason wars become necessary.
Those who never experienced wars, armchair warriors, mistakenly believe wars are epic deeds. Yes, there is heroism, love for the motherland, like in Russia’s Great Patriotic War, that doesn’t make wars more humane or acceptable. War is a forced necessity, exactly how Russia entered the special operation in Ukraine.
Lone Wolf
In this context great means big/large, not good. IE Putin refers to WWII as The Great Patriotic War.
Agree.
The west is full of corrupt swine and history for thousands of years show when they rise, in the end they fall.

Operation appears to be proceeding well and one could only expect there would have been some pockets of radicals that would have taken a bit longer to neutralize.
I suspect the civilian UKN people are relieved that troublemakers are being dealt with.
The does need to be a PR campaign done to fully explain the operation to the UKN people who I suspect will not have been told or be aware of all the facts and issues, and will have been given over the year disinformation by the Soros-UN backed UKN Govt hijackers.
The standard practice of those devils is to divide and conquer, and this needs to be explained to UKN so they see thru whats happened and is happening.
West’s global political and economic dominance ends – Putin
https://www.rt.com/russia/552079-putin-west-domination-ends/
“Speaking on Wednesday, the Russian head of state proclaimed that the “myth of the Western welfare state, of the so-called golden billion, is crumbling.” Moreover, it is the “whole planet that is having to pay the price for the West’s ambitions, and its attempts to retain its vanishing dominance at any cost,” Putin said.
The president predicted food shortages across the world as Western sanctions against Russia are adversely affecting the entire global economy.
Touching on the decision by several Western powers to freeze Russia’s central bank assets, Putin claimed that this would only serve to irreparably undermine trust in those nations, and make other countries think twice before placing their reserves in the care of those countries. According to him, nearly half of Moscow’s assets were “simply stolen” by the West.”
Putin on Ukraine and the West: Key takeaways from latest speech
https://www.rt.com/russia/552096-putin-ukraine-west-speech/
“Launching the “special military operation” was the only option Russia had left to end the years-long bloodshed in eastern Ukraine, Putin stressed. At the same time, limiting its scope to the breakaway Donbass republics only would only push the “frontline” westwards, rather than defuse the situation, he noted.
While waging the war against the breakaway regions of Donbass, Kiev has been preparing for a broad offensive to re-capture them, Putin said, adding that “almost 14,000 civilians, including children, have been killed” in the conflict. Ukrainian authorities also sought to attack Crimea, which split from the country back in 2014 and joined Russia via a referendum.
“Encouraged by the United States and other Western countries, Ukraine was purposefully preparing for a scenario of force, a massacre and an ethnic cleansing in Donbass. A massive onslaught on Donbass and later Crimea was just a matter of time. However, our Armed Forces have shattered these plans,” Putin said.”
US senator repeats call to assassinate Putin
https://www.rt.com/news/552109-graham-putin-taken-out/
“I hope he will be taken out, one way or the other,” Graham told reporters on Wednesday in Washington. “I don’t care how they take him out. I don’t care if we send him to The Hague and try him. I just want him to go.”
Graham confirmed that he sees murdering Putin as a desirable option for removing the Russian president, just as he implied in a March 3 Twitter post in which he asked, “Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?”
The extremist aipac trough feeder is a devout trump supporter. IE: he is owned and operated by the most extreme israeli political factions. Those no different than daesh/isis/nazis.

Day 21 Update from Southfront:
https://southfront.org/war-in-ukraine-day-21/
If war does come one of the main reasons will be constant 24-7 hate Russia propaganda on the Western media. It is far worse than the Cold War. And is helped along by Western and Ukrainian “reports” from Ukraine. It would be much better if Russia was to cut communications into and out of Ukraine. To stop the never ending war propaganda from getting out.
close to impossible to do that. Even Elon Musk immediately parked the Starlink satellites over Ukraine on the first day or two of the ‘war’ and gave Ukrainians and instant free internet throughout the country that would be next to impossible to jam (since there’s no “cable” that can be cut like undersea internet cables etc) without blowing up all his satellites.
Would the Peresvet system be able to knock out these satellites by damaging their solar panels with lasers? They are in rather low orbits, so that would help.
No, no laser system has range like that. All laser systems have laughably short range, a few kilometers at the most. Though starlink is in “low earth orbit” about 300+ miles, it’s still way too far for lasers. Of course Russia has anti-satellite missiles which can do the job but I doubt it wants to escalate to such an extreme at the moment.
Detailed article here:
https://www.thespacereview.com/article/3967/1
Peresvet seems to be intended to blind or dazzle optical reconnaissance satellites. No word about damaging solar panels.
Fortunately, people in the West caught their governments pants down lying about Covid. Very few in Canada, Aus, NZ and the US trust their government. They have seen and suffered from the lies. Do not overestimate the success of the Western propaganda by looking at Twitter and Facebook. These platforms are not real, they are virtual places inhabited largely by bots.
The MSM are the new Pravda. People now automatically assume the opposite of what they say as truth.

Who has military and economic escalation dominance? Nuclear war is at the top of the military dominance pyramid and both zone a and b can climb those stairs concurrently or serially. There is near parity but delivery systems of some nations are Gen three, not five and therefore vulnerable. Next is economic dominance and who can and can’t climb to the top of that pyramid? I offer this short, simple, concise and easy to understand article on that subject matter. I think it is near spot on and should relieve the anxiety that many people are feeling about Russia’s economic well-being. Enjoy
https://www.globalresearch.ca/climbing-escalation-ladder-economic-war-russia-here-nuclear-option/5774307
You’re right, America is definitely several generations behind in delivery systems. Their primary systems continue to be Minutemen systems from the 1970’s whereas all of Russian systems are absolutely modern and updated, and are FAR more technologically advanced than any of the Minutemen in every conceivable way, not least of which is countermeasures of various types that prevent the missiles from being shot down at any stage of the delivery, whether launch or terminal stage.
Not to mention the fact that Russia has a Nuclear Quadrat while America only has a Triad. They have land ICBM’s, ballistic subs, and strategic bombers. Russia has land/silo ICBM’s, ballistic subs, strategic bombers, and both mobile road and railway units like nuclear trains and the infamous Topol-m, YAR RS-24 systems etc.
In short, America stands no chance in nuclear war against Russia.
On the economic front, Russian Ruble was down today already to 90 to 1 USD…it has almost fully rebounded to its pre-war exchange rate. Nuff said.
Russian nuclear trains were sent to the scrapyard in 2005 due to START II agreement.
Now top priority is to build new Sarmat missiles with Avangard nuclear gliders so the old Voyevoda missles can get their well deserved retirement.
New russian missle train is too costly for this moment and they will return to that idea no sooner than 2027.
Russia has already like 200 mobile missile launchers combat ready so there is no need to rush for nuclear trains.
For the first time in the 400 years history of the usa, there is a real possibility to end the usa once and for all. But the real question is (and the question is as much for The Saker as it is for the rest of people here) whether or not it is in the interest of Russia and China to see the usa removed from the map. This window of opportunity is short and I doubt, that this opportunity will present itself ever again, short of a global nuclear war! We have a real chance of ending the anglo-saxon empire once and for all, and it can be done without firing a single bullet at the direction of nato or usa.
The USSR was not ended in 1991. It was downsized and transformed, resulting in the ‘Crazy Nineties’ for a decade, but eventually it was reborn in the oughts. Why can’t a similar thing happen to the USA?
From time to time in the history of the world, a nation or a people come to the scene for just a moment from the margins and change the history of mankind for ever. This is one of those time.
Those who have read my comments in the past know, how much I despise usa. At the same time I have pinned all of my hope with regards to the demise of the usa to the very weapons in the hands of the american people. The fact of the matter is, that as long as there are arms in the hands of the american people, there is hope for the rest of us. Until the very resent events the only people capable of ending the anglo-saxon empire have been the american people themselves, considering the fact, that any outside attempt to destroy usa would have resulted in total annihilation of all life on earth.
But now things have changed so drastically, that even the best of analysts haven’t had the chance to adapt yet. As I mentioned there is now a real opportunity to disintegrate the usa as a matter of fact. None of the traditional geopolitical chess pieces matter in this regard, at least not in the traditional sense. The destruction of the usa, even though set in motion by the events in Ukraine is not directly dependent on Russia and China. In fact China has no role to play in this matter. All they have to do is just do nothing. The real player will be a nation, that at the moment nobody considers of any importance in the current situation, even though they are the only people capable of dong it. But all that Russia needs to do for this avalanche to start is to cut the flow of oil and gas to the west and then sit and watch the mighty usa crumble by the hands of the unlikeliest of people on earth!
Does anyone have thoughts on what happens next?
It is clear that the RT has not up to now liquidated the cauldrons in the east. I believe this is in hope that the Ukie regime will negotiate. But what if that regime cannot negotiate? What if the actual power lies in the hands of individual warlords now?
Assuming the next step is to liquidate the cauldrons in the east, does it keep the Kyiv regime around just in case it proves useful later? Or does it liquidate it? In either event, what is the next step?
You mean RF, yes?
Yes, RF. Russian Forces. Russian Federation.
We need a final official transcript given the importance of the speech, or just a better transcript than a machine translation, also because Putin is a better speaker (usually) than this transcript shows.
“The strike on Donetsk on March 14 is a bloody terrorist attack.”
Others will call it something else, but either Zelensky should forget about the “negotiations” or else Putin will have to negotiate with “terrorism.” I take it he won’t, and that if his position can be hardened, it will be hardened.
“the myth of the “golden billion” is collapsing.”
This term is not used in the West (first time I read it). “Golden West”, let’s say. It’s a tremendous or portentous line.
“…but this is a lie…”
It becomes by now very important to “know Russians”, not just Putin. This is undiplomatic, and he was diplomatic. It was clear when he first said “empire or lies” that never again would things be the same as before (confirmed).
“now everyone knows that the state’s reserves can simply be stolen.”
He says, “Thief.”
…now know who cowardly betrayed their partners…”
He says here, “You are a coward.” The context is not entirely clear to me in this text but, apparently, he’s still talking about the “thief” and the “liar.” Surely, he thinks the thief and the liar is a coward too. This new stance needs to be considered for what it means regarding the future.
“the West has torn off all the masks of decency.”
“Indecent!”
“The ’empire of lies’ of the West is powerless against truth and justice,”
“You’re evil”, he says.
Naturally, in such a context, anyone in Russia “defending” such a one becomes now a “scum” and a “national traitor.” It was not so last year…
What to do?
I don’t know, I can try: Since this is no dream/nightmare, the meaning must be known, so both the “Russian man” and Putin need to be known, not just Putin. 2) Need to get out of that “thief”, “coward” and “liar” confrontation! So, I’d say that Ukraine will never join NATO (how’s that?). It’s a good one. I would also say that NATO will go back to the 1997 positions – great move. 3) After that, of course, you tell him to be more civilized and decent, etc.
The Kremlin translation is in, at least a large portion of it (“to be continued”):
“Meeting on socioeconomic support for regions”
http://en.kremlin.ru/catalog/keywords/128/events/67996
‘The President held a meeting, via videoconference, on socioeconomic support for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. …’
The situation of Zelensky is a microcosm of the situation of the Empire.
I am amazed that it has happened so soon and that things are developing so quickly.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work, Saker/Andrei.
I fully understand and support Putin’s decision to take action in Ukraine because, at least to me, it was the only option left on the table to resolve this conflict and the constant breaking of the Minsk II agreement. And to protect the lives of all those innocent people murdered in Donbass and Luhansk for the past 8 years by neo-Nazi scum.
The problem we have over here in ‘Zone A’ countries (as you refer to them as) is that the public/people in general are complete hypocrites. I heard no uproar about the countless civilian deaths in Yemen and Syria that have been going on for almost a decade now, or about the 15,000+ innocent lives murdered in Donbass & Luhansk (including young children slaughtered without a cause by shellings and bombings). Yet as soon as the media say “look over here; be angry about this,” people act all outraged, and do not know a single f*cking thing about the background of what they are supporting.
It is a case of the corporate/big media saying jump, and the masses of idiots say, “how high?”
It is pure hypocrisy and quite frankly, I am sick to death of it.
I hope and pray for this conflict to be brought to an end as soon as possible with minimal loss of life on all sides.
Please keep up the great work on your site.
Regards,
Tony
Such a darling response to globalist satanist cabal – protect their property!!! The Western thugs can take anything they want and do they want. You are part of their plan to cover up their wrong doings in this world and the war was an excuse. This proves that you are more concern about the criminals than the humanity as whole. Showing moral high ground is very laughable as if the rule of law still exists in the West.
Banking is based on trust. No trust, no banking.
Confiscating Russia’s reserve may give a short term “success” but that is the end of any financial transaction with Zone A.
Zone A is retreating into itself. Initially it will be five eyes plus Europe plus Taiwan, Korea, Japan. Taiwan, Korea Japan in that order will be out within a few years. Europe will take a bit longer, if it ever does move out the Empire’s grip. We may even see a US attack on Europe to keep them in line.
This citation needs more confirmation:
“As it turned out, the “valiant” servicemen of the Naval Forces of Ukraine simply abandoned their boats and ships in the port of Berdyansk, completely serviceable and ready for battle. The Russian military got: the P186 Korets patrol ship, small armored artillery boats (MBAK) P174 Akkerman and P179 Vyshgorod, as well as two border patrol boats of the 1400M Grif project, two small border patrol boats of the UMS-1000 project, three small border patrol boats of project 50300 “Kalkan-M” and crew boat BG 732 of project ADAMANT-315. The Russian fishing vessel Nord, captured in 2018, was also found there.
Two more MBACs of the Ukrainian Navy and the command ship “Donbass” are in the port of Mariupol, in what condition they are still unknown.”
The peacekeepers are focused (correctly) on eliminating the UA‘s ability to fight. We should then carefully examine the UA’s order of battle. Gaining ground is but a secondary goal.
So, let’s review the situation;
1) UA AWOL ? it’s guesswork how many Ukie regulars have taken up the peacekeepers offer of “lay down your weapons, take off your uniform, and go home to your family”. By all appearances, during the first week, the number of Ukie regulars who accepted the peacekeepers’ offer was material. Currently ? Not so many takers.
2) UA Units ? In the last 24-30 hours, the following 2 UA units appear to have been eliminated from the Order of Battle; 53rd Mech Brigade, 95th Airmobile Brigade. The 81st Airmobile brigade is reported trapped in a small river pennisula inside Izyum and can be effectively written off. In addition to these 3 brigades eliminated, the peacekeepers eliminated a concentration of mercenaries on the Polish Border. Finally, the Azov Brigade is nearly gone as it fights to the last round in Mariupol.
3 brigades plus mercs plus Azov neutralized in 1 day ? That’s a resounding success.
The peacekeepers are well on their way to demilitarizing Ukraine and returning Ukraine to its peaceful status quo ante of 2012.
We have talked much about the role of U.S Democratic Party as the most likely force instabiliting world, more than Republicans. And they have acted in this way at least 60 years if not even longer.
What worries me now is that USA sees that sanctions and threats doesn’t work on Russia. Out of desperation USA could go for naval blocade of Russia, but there will be devastating response of Russian fleet. There is no secret that one salvo of Granit missiles from submarine can sink entire aircraft carrier group. And that means WW III.
Andrei My Brother,
This is the third time in a row I have attempted to comment but have been too busy with work and family obligations to finish. God willing this will be the one.
I returned to the Russian Cathedral near me today and lit candles before the Holy Icons. I knelt before the Relics of St. John and prayed for his intercession for us all, my family, for Russia, for Ukraine (he was from the Donbass). Then I lit a candle before the Holy Royal Martyrs and prayed for their intercession for the preservation and restoration of the Holy Orthodox Rus.
I did the same before the Icon of Prince Vladimir, St. George, Emperor Constantine and His Mother Helena and St. John of Kronstadt.
“O Lord Save They People and Bless Thine Inheritance. Grant Victory to Orthodox Christians over their Adversaries.”
Andrei you know I love my American homeland. I love Russia too. I fell in love with Russia shortly after I fell in love with Serbia. When Russian paratroopers landed in Kosovo in a doomed attempt to save Kosovo from being torn from Serbia.
I fell in love with Serbia because of her defiant spirit in the face of NATO Hegemon. I fell in love with Russia because of her beautiful soul. When I first heard Russian Orthodox music I felt like the Russians who visited Constantinople over a millennia ago and were in the Hagia Sophia and we’re so moved by the choir’s hymns that they said, “We did not know if we were on Heaven or Earth, but we knew that God was there.”
I feel a strong kinship with the Russian people. I took the name Dimitri when I converted to Orthodoxy for that reason. My Patron was a Belarusian Priest martyed by the NKVD in the 1930’s. I did not choose him specifically. Batushka Igor picked him for me.
I am very saddened and angered by the racist, anti-Russian bigotry that is being normalized. My wife and I did our best to raise our children speaking Russian (it’s my second language and I’m not fluent). Our two oldest children were raised on Soviet, Russian and Uzbek songs and Soviet cartoons ( Krokodil Gena and Cheburashka, Spokoynoy Nochi Malishi and Nu Pogodi, etc.). Their Great Grandfather was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Their Great Great Uncle never returned from that war. There is an engraved stone for him in the family plot of the neighborhood cemetery but he never came home. My kids have been to the War Memorials in the former USSR with the Great Mother before the eternal flame awaiting the return of her children.
I have a great love for the Russian people and spending significant time in the former USSR gave me a better understanding of what the Soviet Union was and it’s good points and bad, but it completely smashed my childhood (growing up in America) idea of the Russians as godless Communists and as the Soviet Union being, “The Evil Empire”. I learned how multi-ethnic and multicultural the USSR actually was. I also learned how highly educated and clear minded people who had been raised in the USSR we’re. Last but not least I learned that while the religious and cultural roots of the West had largely been uprooted by consumer capitalism they had somehow been preserved under Communism and were having a rebirth in the post Soviet era.
This war (as all war) is a tragedy. However for Russia I wholeheartedly believe this war was necessary for it’s own preservation and the liberation of normal (non fascist) Ukrainians. This is an existential struggle for Russia’s own existence. The Mask of the West in relation to Russia came off in the last 8 years. Washington, London and Brussels will except nothing short of Russia’s complete surrender and Vassalhood or it’s complete destruction.
The West did everything in it’s power to provoke this war. They declared this war in 2014 and have used Kiev and the Nationalists to wage this war on the people of Donbass and on the Orthodox Church. I know this. I am an American but I can see the truth of this matter absolutely clear (thank you for you Andrei).
I have been and will continue speaking the truth on this matter and defending my Russian brothers and sisters and the Orthodox Faith.
Thank you for giving me the tools I need to fight the good fight.
Your Friend,
Dimitri (JEinCA)
PS- Many American people (including my Father) aren’t buying what the MSM is selling. They know the Empire is rotten to the core and is as much the enemy of the American People and our Freedom as they are to Russia.
@ Dimitri
Dear friend, my heart also bleeds for Mother Russia’s children, the historical victims of a barbarous and bastardized “Western civilization” transmuted into degeneracy across the Atlantic. It is on such occasions that the Russian spirit rises in its martial splendor to crush the Napoleons and Hitlers of this world. I had my doubts whether V V Putin had the mettle for the occasion but now I am comforted by the thought and hopes that he will slay the Hegemon and deliver Russia from her trials and will lead her to better times.
The history of the world will have a glorious chapter dedicated to the brave Russian people who saved humanity from the hegemonic beast.
God willing or Inshallah as the Muslims say.
This Hegemon is indeed a Beast, if not The Beast of the Revelation of St. John of the Apocalypse.
Our Russian brothers are taking some significant casualties. I pray for their victory, that their sacrifice is not in vain. I pray for liberation and salvation of Ukraine from the hungry jaws of the Beast.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin/33377. This link (google or yandex translate works well) says that Ukros have mined great potable water reservoirs that deliver water to SE Ukraine, including Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kharkov. When they lose control of whole area, they may simply destroy water delivery system for millions of people. It will create humanitarian disaster. To have to negotiate with these demons..
Regarding the Grayzone, if they are honest actors then amongst their back catalogue of reporting there should be some reporting of the going back to 2014 of the indiscriminate attacks on the civilians of the Donbass and also events such as the massacre in Odessa. I don’t remember any such reporting, it may exist but I have not seen it. Max Blumenthal, before his road to Damascus moment, certainly was very much anti-Assad reporting on the “organic” growth of the so-called rebellion. I also recall him being mentioned in the Clinton e-mail dump released by Wikileaks, HRC herself congratuting his father and her close advisor Sidney Blumenthal on what a great job Max was doing with his work at the beginning of the Syrian conflict. It’s possible for people to change, the Grayzone have consistently rocked the boat with their reporting of Isreal, Venezuela etc.
Dear Saker,
There is an interesting development in Indonesia.

Title: Digital Analysis by Evello (research company) Expose that Indonesian Netizen Tend to Support Russia
Summary:
a) period: 23/02-14/03, 2022
b) data gathered from: instagram, twitter, tiktok and youtube.
c) object of study: 96000 news articles regarding Russian military operation in Ukraine.
d) result: conversation about Presiden Vladimir Putin in twitter : 71%, tiktok: 94% Instagram : 74% .
Conversation mostly about their dislike toward USA and NATO, admiration for Presiden Putin and simpathy for Ukranian presiden.
According to Evello, the conversation is very natural. It is not influenced by wishperers or fake accounts. Majority netizen tend to take Russian side.
That is from research company. Now i take you to one who air the news, Kompas.
Kompas is a very pro west news outlet. True to themself, they insert an analist from one of the top university in Indonesia. This is what he said: those number above as a result from the fact that:
1) Indonesian do not have good understanding about Ukraine and just swallow whatever pro Russian scholar tell them.
2) they are mesmerized by personality of Presiden Putin and nostalgic of late Presiden Soekarno.
3) because islam is the second biggest religion in Russia.
4) Russia give a lot of scholarship to Indonesian student. They have exactly same narrative with Russian govt.
The last part is my usual thing. But this time is a bit different. Below is translation of one comment with (so far 200 replies and 778 likes). Posted by Henry Winata:
“Indonesian people is not lack of knowledge regarding Russian special military operation in Ukraine. (The fact) they have a wide range (of information) about it. Indonesian people know and understand the real cause of (this situation).
Also, Indonesian people do not swallow news from Russian side, to support Russia. In the contrary, the group that support Ukraine-USA-NATO is the stupid who swallow issues, hoax and propaganda from (western) govt. and western media.
I scanned first 106 replies, and found 4 are not relevant, 4 negative and the rest is supporting the comment.
Best regard,
Ms. Nobody
Ps. I sense a restlessnes in my part of the world. And old wounded mithycal creature did not have a very good morning lately. He woke up to find out that one of his prey slipped out of his grip. He try to lure her back by telling her that she is stupid, religious fanatic and a sell out.😃
Empire of lies are relentlessly militarizing Ukraine out of NATO’s expenses while Putin together with DPR and LPR are aggressively demilitarizing Ukraine and Donbass region.
West may soon realize that cost of demilitarizing is cheaper and less time consuming rather than militarizing, training combatant and managing millions of refugees.
Truth is treason in the empire of lies.

Big Brave Keyboard Warriors: Notes From The Edge Of The Narrative Matrix
https://caitlinjohnstone.com/2022/03/14/big-brave-keyboard-warriors-notes-from-the-edge-of-the-narrative-matrix/
“Condemning Putin is the easiest, safest, most redundant, least courageous thing that anyone in the western world can do right now. What’s a lot harder at the current moment is taking a bold stand against the west’s depraved role in getting this war started and in keeping it going.
Demands that you precede every criticism of the west’s role in this war with an enthusiastic condemnation of Putin are just vapid tone policing to silence your very valid criticisms. Nobody truly believes there’s not enough condemnation of Putin in our current media environment. They just want you to shut up.

I’d like to see a poll asking Ukrainian mothers the question, “Would you sacrifice your son for the remote possibility of future NATO/EU membership and control over Crimea and the Donbas?”
Because those have been the conditions for ending this war for over a week.”
If/when NATO executes a false flag in Ukraine involving WMD, what is the likelihood that a no-fly zone would ensue?
GRU SITREPS IRAK 2003
Any old timer here who was around the second Irak war in 2003 ?
I remember having been fed the shock and awe psyop.
It appears it was not such a walk in the park for the coalition of the willies https://stolzuntermenschen.blogspot.com/2022/03/2003-iraq-war-gru-intelligence-archive.html
May I suggest our dear The Saker to host these reports here ? These are rare GRU sitreps documents.
Is Russia negotiating an Anglo-American protectorate for Ukraine?
A shock occurred yesterday in Russia, with the revelations of the Financial Times, confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Kremlin, of the negotiation of a 15-point plan, including the departure of the Russian army from Ukraine and the preservation of the Ukrainian army, but its reduction … in return for protection exercised by the United States and Great Britain. In other words, Russia started this military operation to ultimately discuss the establishment of an Anglo-American protectorate over Ukraine? Are the Russian political elites, who support this process, aware of the power of the waves of deflagration which will then pour over Russia and the world? Let’s analyze the situation.
For two days, the Russian delegation taking part in the negotiations (see our text yesterday concerning this process) has been very optimistic about a “compromise” with Ukraine in the coming days, the Ukrainians too. Yesterday, the situation became clearer regarding the content of this “compromise”.
First of all, Medinsky, who chairs the Russian delegation, welcomed the idea presented as “Ukrainian” of the Swedish model of demilitarization. It is therefore a demilitarization, which provides for the preservation of an army, but reduced and, he says, without foreign presence. In short, it is a militarized demilitarization. Clearly, complex thinking is being emulated… For his part, Peskov affirmed that this version is a possible compromise. We will recall that as far as “neutrality” is concerned, Sweden is particularly active in its cooperation with NATO. Moreover, in the balance, Ukraine presents that it will no longer ask to join NATO – as if it could have entered it quickly anyway … As for the long term, we know what these promises.
This proposal, which is supposedly being seriously analyzed by the Russian and Ukrainian Defense Ministries, raises many questions: since the Russian army must immediately withdraw from Ukraine, who is going to ensure and guarantee this reduction of the Ukrainian army and determine its proportions and duration? when it is said that the Russian army must withdraw “from Ukraine”, which borders are we talking about? what guarantees are given that, in a short time, the Ukrainian army will again be prepared, financed and armed and will go back on the attack towards the East, towards Russia?
Moreover, while the integration of Crimea into Russia had never been the subject of discussions, now it is a question of negotiating this recognition. It is a political step backwards.
And yesterday we also got the answers to these questions. The Financial Times published an article presenting these famous 15 points of the plan negotiated by Russia and Ukraine, which obviously comes from the United States:
“Ukrainian and Russian negotiators discussed the proposed deal in full for the first time on Monday, said two of the people. The 15-point draft considered that day would involve Kyiv renouncing its ambitions to join Nato and promising not to host foreign military bases or weaponry in exchange for protection from allies such as the US, UK and Turkey, the people said”
So the Russian army withdraws and … the United States, Great Britain provide security for Ukraine, Turkey, which is very active in the peace process (and we understand why now) enters the political game and can even finally consider recovering certain territories in return for its good services. Under these conditions, Ukraine being under an Anglo-American protectorate, it actually has no need to enter a military bloc, it “benefits” from direct protection.
The negotiation of the Russian political capitulation in the open countryside, while militarily it regains ground despite the brakes imposed on the army, is so obvious that one immediately thinks that it is false information, a politico-psychological attack. Unfortunately, no, that is not the case. Peskov confirmed yesterday that there was indeed a “serious” discussion, but simply that it was too early to talk about it publicly…
These statements caused a wave of anger. It is interesting for Russian-speakers to read the comments under the text of the Russian news agency Regnum, which announces these “compromises” – the terms treason and drafts dominate.
Other reactions have emerged. For example, on the Donbass side, Alexandre Khadakovsky, a politician, came out strongly against this idea of negotiations, recalling that, following the example of the Minsk Accords, there is no guarantee that the Ukrainian puppets, following the injunctions of their guardians, do not go on the attack once the Russian army has left. And going even further:
“Now you have to understand: in today’s Ukraine there will never be not only a pro-Russian government, but even
a neutral government. “A good cop is a dead cop” – this is about Ukraine. Not literally, of course, but politically. Everything that made Ukraine an industrial country must be removed. All the territories that appeared as a result of the efforts of the Russian Empire during the period of southern expansion must be torn off. By a natural coincidence, the main human and industrial potential is concentrated precisely in those lands to which Russia has an undeniable historical right.
It does not matter what status this territory has – a kind of enlarged Donetsk-Krivoy Rog republic, Little Russia or joining Russia – the main thing is that the new generation of the Ukrainian “elite” never has access to this land. And the fact that they don’t love and don’t forgive shouldn’t be scary: time and the need to survive will fix everything. They have adapted to the Bandera people – they will adapt to us.”
Oleg Morozov, whom we already quoted yesterday about his concerns about these negotiations, further clarified his position today following these revelations:
“I learned with great concern that during the talks the Ukrainian side would have seriously discussed the demilitarization of Ukraine. For example, the conversation is about the number and type of armed forces that should remain in “the Demilitarized Ukraine”. I admit that I may not know everything, but I will express myself!
If I were in the place of the Ukrainians, I would accept all the conditions, I would sign all the papers. In exchange for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian troops. And it’s done ! All our success is cancelled! Then they will save time and wipe themselves with this paper. A arrested army will not die again for such a piece of paper! Victory must never be taken away from the army, because a victory voluntarily abandoned is worse than a defeat, because it breaks the code of the winner!
We must accept all promises! But their implementation should begin only after the full military surrender.
Otherwise, there will be neither victory nor demilitarization.”
Do the elites who negotiate this kind of “compromise” seriously have any idea of the consequences to be expected inside the country? To quickly present a scenario, perhaps catastrophic but realistic with regard to Russian history, we can note:
the loss of confidence of the populations in Russia and pro-Russians abroad in the Russian ruling elites, who embark on an operation involving the existence of the country, without having the political courage to lead the fight to the end, without accompany the military operation with a political strategy;
the revolt of the population is to be expected, the sanctions undoubtedly remaining and even possibly being aggravated – but if a people can rise up and unite in a fight for victory, they generally only see (and they are right ) no reason to sacrifice for surrender;
the internal weakening of Russia leads to its disappearance on the international scene as an actor, the Anglo-American “guardians” will be able to take over the Donbass and certainly Crimea will be able to go towards Turkey, knowing that there is little chance that the Russia remains within its current borders;
the Russian globalist elites, still in place, will be able to ensure the globalist “transition” of Russia and its dismemberment – they have the experience.
However, it must be understood that the shock wave will go far beyond Russia and Ukraine. This euphoria of globalist victory and the fall of the only country that can offer a civilizational alternative will impact Europe, already under domination, which will no longer have the strength to raise its head. We can therefore enter fully into the unipolar world, into global dictatorship. And this for a long period of hibernation …
The only hope remains in these sovereignist Russian elites, who have raised their heads with the attempt to establish covid globalization. But will they have the strength of their will? To be continued.

Before Morozov, the Chechnya leader questioned the Russian leader’s authority by making his private disagreements public. Morozov does the same thing. Putin’s term “national traitor” does not apply to them (in my opinion), but “scum” could. Just saying.
Breaking: Kremlin betrayal, 5th and 6th columns oligarchs are trying to take over Putin war objectives.
While talks between warring parties are always part of the conflict, the constant flux parody now playing out between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations is particularly unhealthy. When the Russians, and the Ukrainians, announce significant progress, while, at the very least, the Ukrainian delegation demands the departure of Russian troops, part of the Russian political elite begins to seriously question the real end sought by the “negotiators”. Finally, it would seem that the clan war, which never ends in Russia, takes a new form here and it is all the more dangerous because wars are not won only on the battlefields.
Barely has the Russian army launched, breaks are announced for negotiations, the army is posed at the edge of the cities and waits, the delegations which met at the beginning with a certain tension (which is normal and desirable given the stakes ) everyone now chats at home via interposed screens.
The trivialization of the process does not make it more effective, quite the contrary. It becomes routine and does not maintain the tension needed to make important decisions.
Serious questions have been raised by Oleg Morozov, United Russia deputy, on the advisability of these talks and the way in which they are conducted. Remember that a member of the Ukrainian delegation was assassinated by the extremists after the first meeting, because he was “negotiating with the enemy”, while he was part of Ukrainian military intelligence. On the Russian side, we find the very controversial Medinsky, former Minister of Culture who in 2016 distinguished himself for having installed in Saint Petersburg the commemorative plaque of Mannerheim, a Nazi collaborator who took part in the Blockade of Leningrad (admittedly , he knows a lot about denazification…). He is notably accompanied by Sloutsky, well known for the finesse of his thinking and by Gryzlov, currently Russian ambassador to Belarus, who defended the Minsk Accords. These bad agreements that led to war, like any “bad peace”.
And it is precisely the worry of seeing a bad peace return, a peace “at any price”, of those which are very expensive, with the false hope of returning to what existed “before”, which pushes some heavyweights of Russian politics to raise their voices. Three statements in particular should be remembered.
First, the clocks were set by V. Volodin, President of the Duma, in a text called “Moment of truth”, which begins with these sentences:
“Today has come the moment when everyone must realize their responsibility to the country. It’s a moment of truth for everyone. It’s the moment when we see who is who.”
With this rather long text, Volodin breaks the inner discourse, which remains deeply postmodern and voluntarily dedramatizing, wanting to maintain the illusion of normality. This is obviously also necessary for public tranquility, but taking into account the extraordinary nature of the situation, the implications of the choice made and their irreversible nature is fundamental if the authorities want to obtain the unconditional support of the population. Postmodernism does not allow for the national impetus which is essential in these situations.
Piotr Tolstoy, vice-president of the Duma, for his part, in front of the journalists rightly underlined this irreversible character, at the end of the meeting of the cell of economic crisis:
“There is no going back, that’s why we have to adapt to this new reality and build a new economy of Russia, as the largest autonomous and strong country on the Eurasian Continent.”
Building Russia’s autonomy, in particular economic autonomy, is going against everything that has been done since the fall of the Soviet Union, because it is going against economic globalization, in which Russia surged in, preferring to buy rather than produce. Volodin and Tolstoy laid the framework for the new political and economic reality, which is the only possible path for Russia today – self-reliance and strength. But this path is only possible, like the existence of Russia, if all the political elites have the courage to go through with the process of deglobalisation initiated, without negotiating an “honorable exit”, without falling back into the trap of the Minsk Accords – only worse.
It was Oleg Morozov who banged his fist on the table on Monday, very concretely about these particularly unhealthy negotiations. Here is the full text of his “About the talks”:
“They take place against a backdrop of:
1. The State Department’s statement that they are forcing us to participate in these talks.
2. Statement by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba on the need for the physical elimination of Putin.
3. The statements of the Ukrainian negotiators, according to which first of all it is necessary to withdraw Russian troops from Ukraine, to return all territories, including Crimea, and then it will be possible to discuss something.
4. Zelensky’s thanks to Meta, regarding the call to kill the Russians.
5. The firing of the Tochka U missile in the center of Donetsk.
It gives the impression that Ukrainian troops are on the outskirts of Moscow and that we are negotiating the surrender of Russia. Talks are unacceptable against the backdrop of such rhetoric! They give the illusion of our weakness! And the most important: it is necessary to clearly determine the circle of the questions which we are ready to discuss. And those proposed by the Ukrainian negotiators have no place there and cannot be part of it.
This is the right time to pass on all negotiation skills to Ramzan Kadyrov. And not because our negotiators are bad!
But because another format is needed and precisely Kadrov knows better than anyone what and how to talk to terrorists.”
The talks continued yesterday online, everyone is very happy. But also yesterday, Patruchev, the Secretary of the Security Council, was in Chechnya for a very cordial meeting with Kadyrov.
Russia has always been weak at negotiations, not because it doesn’t have the right people to do it, but because negotiations, especially of such magnitude, require a unity of the ruling political elites, which does not exist in Russia, which weakens and weakens it. Let’s hope that the survival instinct will enable it to definitively get out of the dangerous impasse of postmodernism, largely supported by a whole section of the globalist elites (still in place).
https://russiepolitics.blogspot.com/2022/03/les-pourparlers-russo-ukrainiens-le.html
I read both of your comments.
Thank you for your thoughts – very astute.
If Russia bargains away the result that is needed in Ukraine, She loses. She would lose any chance at remaining a sovereign nation. Along with Her loss, would be the loss of same for all nations. The globalists win.
There is no other nation existing that has an opportunity to weaken and God willing ultimately defeat the Cabal’s push for global dominance and the complete and total enslavement of humanity (those that survive the purge that is).
Should Russia choose weakness… those of us who firmly choose to stand with God’s Universe will be cut down – maybe not all but many.
So, we wait and see and pray.
Could it be that Russia is pretendeing to be interested, because they need a few hours/days to see if the debt payment goes through, it is right now in the hands of US banks, who will decide wether they will let it through?
And at the same time check the opinion of the people?
Yes the speach was important but he is very far away from the ancient sovereignty that once characterized him.
Furthermore the speach can not cover up his strategical mistakes which has been made beforehand of the military the operation.
He is restlessly driven man, a haunted wanderer. His western partners driving him in front of them. Ridicolous piece plans like the austrian concept are presented to him following the motto “eat or be eaten”.
As the cherry on tip The turkish Sultan became is his new “partner”. Not exactly the best basis for a new beginning.
A war trap had been set up for Putin.
In the same way as the USA nato homoglobos did with Milosevic by skilful psychological actions.
First phase:
By continuously repeating the estimated date of russian attack against Ukraine inducing the oppenent to action.
# Russians contradicted the claim as fake news but then attacked few days later
# Putin thus laid the basis for the unchallenged propaganda which overrun Russians
# Keyword Credibility. It was enabeling the US to realise their goals and narrative.
=> Actually Putin should have recognized that it is a trap and postpone the military operation.
=> Transfer back all strategic reserves and assets back to Russia
=> Clean up the military from traitors. Set up new date + plan with new personal for attack
=> Clean up media, culture and economics from possible traitors. SAME LIKE ERDOGAN DID IN TURKEY!
Second Phase
Take over the progaganda war and demonize ur enemy
Cut the enemy from all financial instruments.
Involve the invaders in a bloody urban and guerilla warfare
Third Phase
Offer the enemy a face saving exit with pseudo peace plans.
Brand him as war criminal.
Fourth Phase
Contact oligarchs and support them to overthrow the russian president.
Agree with the new government to extradite the president to war crimes tribunal in Den Haag.
WE RE NOW IN PHASE THREE
A US Navy ship is visiting Stockholm (to “make the Russians nervous), big news yesterday.
And today: Media tour on the ship!! Meet the NATO heroes! and so on.
And just now, Swedish press says: “Two US sailors arrested for using Ukrainan prostitutes” (sex with prostitutes not allowed in Sweden, and most people in Sweden dislikes trafficking, so not so much “heroes” anymore…)
You know, I am tending more and more, not to have hope for this situation. I think the Saker is very much in the ballpark as to where this thing is going …………… and Russia was very much prepared for it from the get go. The US is lining itself up fora huge spanking, which will unfortunately effect many, many people who had nothing to do with this madness. There is very little reality left on the US and also the EU side.
This is very tough to watch but, here is what I am talking about.

Chess star doubles down on Putin support despite death threats

“Again, there’s no democracy at all, no opportunity to freely express an opinion in the West… There is simply no such thing in Europe and the United States, all this is a myth about their democracy.”
“From the very beginning of the special operation, I felt the strongest information attack on myself and my friends. Hundreds, if not thousands of direct messages, threats to my life and to my loved ones.
World chess authority FIDE announced on Wednesday that it was banning Russia and Belarus from all team competitions “until further notice,” following recommendations from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).”
The ioc long ago destroyed the olympics, now these repulsive parasites are trying to destroy all international sport. These rabid dogs should be put down.
Thanks for the machine translation. I think a better translation by a native English speaker is needed as that one is not clear in parts.

The West’s seeming plan is to stretch out this war forever.
The Corporate Media’s psy-op is that this is somehow the only “humanitarian” response. This needs to be countered heavily within the West, for the sake of the Ukrainian people, the Russian people, and the people of the West.
The longer this war is dragged out, the more Ukrainian citizens die. The more Russian soldiers die. The more Russia’s and the West’s economies go to hell. Nobody profits except those literally profiting from arms sales.
My latest post is a “letter” specifically addressed to people who only consume corporate media.

The American psychosis is absolutely not new. Consider, for instance, this charming remark made by a person who soon became US President and authorised the use of nuclear weapons against Japan when it was already trying to negotiate surrender terms.
“If we see that Germany is winning the war, we ought to help Russia; and if that Russia is winning, we ought to help Germany, and in that way let them kill as many as possible”.
– Senator Harry S Truman (1941)
The same attitude was manifest towards Cubans, Filipinos, Koreans, Vietnamese, and in fact everyone whom the US elite saw as standing in their way.
Is the war over? The map is the same for at least ten days!
Pat, the operation proceeds in definite stages. Within a few hours the first stage was over: most of Ukraine’s bases, radar installations, and air defences had been destroyed. Then Russian ground forces took up positions that allowed them to control essential lines of communication. For some days now the UAF facing the Donbass republics has been unable to retreat, and it is probably cut off from reinforcements or supply. A modern army cannot last long under such conditions.
Please remember that this is not a war nor an invasion. The term “special operation” was chosen carefully, and seem precise. Think of it as a delicate surgical operation, to remove a dangerous growth from some vital organ. This must be done without killing the patient, or even harming him. It cannot be done immediately. One technique might be to cut off the growth’s blood supply and wait for it to shrivel.
The Russians are carying out plans on at least two higher levels. First, to bring about a political situation in which they can remove their armed forces from Ukraine without allowing Washington immediately to go back to building it up as a jumping-off point for attacks on Russia. Second, to provoke the West into rash actions such as the recent “sanctions from Hell”. It is possible that the latter objective has already been achieved, as the long-term economic and financial consequences of the sanctions may lead to the relaxation of the US grip on Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand; and even to the end of the US control of the world financial system that began in 1945.
The trick is to complete that task without stinging the Washington creatures into a spiteful nuclear attack. It’s the familiar “monkey with a grenade” syndrome.
This is how the world ends.
Will the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine lead to a World War that quickly escalates to an end of the world scenario in nuclear exchanges? That remains unlikely, but we are clearly well on our way. It is long past debate whether the conflict is merely between two neighboring countries at the eastern fringe of the European Union. It is a full-blown proxy war between the United States of America and the Russian Federation, and it is about ending or perpetuating American global hegemony.
The latest approval in Washington of $800 million in further urgent military assistance to Ukraine, including the Pentagon’s most advanced attack drones and powerful Soviet era S300 ground to air missile systems makes it perfectly clear that U.S. is sabotaging the ongoing peace talks between Moscow and Kiev for the sake of prolonging a war that can only result on the Ukrainian side in the utter shattering of civil as well as military infrastructure, mass emigration and ubiquitous, calamitous poverty for those remaining; and on the Russian side in wholesale and painful reorganization of the economy away from the West as well as civil discord amid deep disagreements over the war and crackdown on dissent. The centuries-long debates and hair-pulling in Russia between “Westernizers” and “Slavophiles” is breaking out into the open yet again, as we saw in Vladimir Putin’s remarks yesterday during a speech otherwise devoted to increasing social benefits at home. I will direct attention to that speech in a moment.
So far the West has been spared the pain arising from pending economic distortions on a global scale. However, as the conflict progresses in the direction of total war, which is happening before our eyes now that the United States President and Senate have designed Vladimir Putin as a ‘war criminal,’ the share of misery borne by the broad public in the West may rise dramatically. The Russians have yet to unleash their own “nuclear option” of economic sanctions against the West, meaning immediate halt in export to “hostile nations” (the USA, the EU in particular) of hydrocarbons, strategic metals, grains and other agricultural commodities. That may come in the days immediately ahead.
Whatever the outcome of the still virtual negotiations between Moscow and Kiev over a cease fire and implementation of a 15-point peace agreement, Moscow’s move on to its Plan C, namely direct nuclear confrontation with Washington remains ‘on the table,’ as they like to say in the American capital. Peak-a-boo surfacing of Russian nuclear submarines just outside U.S. territorial waters on the East and West coasts, daily patrols of Russian strategic bombers in the Caribbean – these threats have clearly been held in reserve by the Russians for their possible Plan C scenario.
Meanwhile, the American-led Information War has been proceeding apace, presenting to Western media for instant, unquestioning dissemination a stream of fake news that is intended to raise the public mood of hatred for Russia and things Russian to fever pitch. Our television newscasts are filled with scenes of destroyed apartment buildings in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. Yesterday’s biggest news item was the destruction of a theater in downtown Mariupol said to have housed up to a thousand people seeking refuge from Russian air strikes.
The production of fake war videos became a big industry among American and British propaganda organs during the Syrian War, when Western audiences were shown utterly fraudulent films of alleged chemical attacks by the Assad regime. Many featured the supposedly heroic and selfless work of ‘white helmet’ humanitarian volunteers operating in the Syrian war zones. Now these talents and experience are being unleashed to whip up popular outrage over the conduct of the Russian campaign in Ukraine.
This morning’s Russian state television featured an expose of the latest fake news exploits being served up to world media by the Kiev regime. A half dozen such videos and photographic montages were analyzed by Russian experts who tracked down the original footage and on split screen show how what the Ukrainians are claiming to be Russian attacks on the civilian population in Kiev are, for example, footage taken from the SS-21 (Tochka-U) missile blast in downtown Donetsk city this past Monday which killed 21 people outright and injured critically 30 more. That attack was launched by the Ukrainian army from a distance of perhaps 30 miles. Other videos showing alleged destruction of civil buildings are taken from cities, mostly in the Donbas, several years ago, where the aggressor was Ukrainian militias, not Russians or their Donbas allies today.
Of course, none of the Russian proofs of fraud perpetrated by Ukrainian propagandists with the help and guidance of their American curators will be shown on Western media. However, we the people can for ourselves determine who is telling the truth and who is lying just by putting on our thinking caps when we look at what is shown on the BBC News, for example.
I think in particular of an evening news BBC front line reporter in Kiev who stood before a heavily damaged 15 story residential building a couple of days ago in which all windows were blown out by some explosion. The lady journalist was well coiffed and dressed immaculately in what can only be described as a surreal setting. Pointing to the building, she told us indignantly that four people had been killed in this latest Russian attack. Here, unnoticed evidently by her producers back in London, there is the kind of discrepancy between what we are shown and what we are being told that should set off alarm bells in anyone who has his head screwed on properly. The building itself and the kind of destruction we saw on our television screens should have yielded 400 fatalities, not 4 if this were anything but bogus information. Instead, what the BBC was presenting aligns perfectly with the Russian narrative that in Mariupol, in Kharkiv, in Kiev and other Russian cities the Ukrainian army and militias of irregular radical nationalists fighting by its side are using the civilian population as ‘human shields.’ What this means is that residential buildings and civilian infrastructure are taken over by the army, who chase out the civilians and move artillery and other weaponry into the buildings from which they attack Russian troops and attempt to attract counter fire into genuinely civilian homes for the sake of atrocities to publicize on the internet.
Note: we do not have any body counts relating to the destruction of that theater in Mariupol. During the course of last evening, the BBC report shifted imperceptibly from claims that hundreds were sheltering there during the attack to claims that hundreds had been sheltering there in recent weeks. Meanwhile the Russians flatly denied that they were responsible for the destruction of the theater and laid the blame entirely at the Ukrainian army and its special propaganda mission.
Given the near total jamming by Europe, by the USA of Russia-based internet resources, the Russian counter charges do not reach the eyes or ears of Western audiences. My own access to this information is chiefly coming from satellite channels that are not yet prohibited in Western Europe.

As the USA and Europe have each day piled on new sanctions against Russia, the awareness of a ‘total war’ situation has penetrated the consciousness of Russia’s leadership and the tone of public discourse about the war has hardened noticeably in recent days. Talk shows which I follow regularly have changed course yet again from what I reported a week ago. On the Vladimir Solovyov evening programs, the bearer of grim expectations about war prospects, Mosfilm general director Karen Shakhnazarov, has disappeared, his place taken by others who take the conversation in a wholly different direction, including fierce denunciations of unpatriotic personalities within Russia. Still other newcomers are presenting their own half-baked speculations on how the entire Russian economy and society has to be reorganized to respond to the new realities of a total permanent break with the West. While the Putin government remains resolutely pro-business and pro-entrepreneurship, though with a heavy dose of state direction of the economy, the new panelists in talk shows denounce free markets as just one more manifestation of the West’s hijacking in the 1990s Russia’s domestic political economy. Still other panelists on the Russian talk shows are talking about purging the government and all public institutions of Liberals, who are synonymous with Fifth Column traitors and have no place in Russian society under conditions of a war for the country’s survival.
As BBC and other Western journalists have remarked, Vladimir Putin addressed the issue of the Fifth Column in a televised speech yesterday that was otherwise dedicated to the increases in pensions and social benefits that he just announced to counteract negative results of the newly imposed Western sanctions. In the BBC interpretation, the scum and traitors denounced by Putin are the oligarchs. These are the people who live there, meaning in the West, either physically or just mentally, while earning their money in Russia.
However, this identification with the oligarchs only shows how little Western news organizations, Western think tanks and Western government leaders know about Russia and about what makes it tick. No, oligarchs were not in the sites of Vladimir Putin yesterday: it was the multitude of little traitors to the country and its people who have in recent weeks come out of the woodwork and taken flight in an attempt to avoid having to publicly take sides in the conflict and so lose their fortunes and/or their social standing.
The broad Russian public has been utterly shocked at the departure of a good many stars in the entertainment industry, the kind of folks who in the West are images on the covers of People magazine and of the yellow press more generally. Veteran singer Alla Pugacheva and her husband Galkin have been darlings of Russian television and music halls across the country for decades. They are known to have quietly flown to Israel, where so many of their friends from show business and from high society have already found refuge earlier still. Then there is one of the two leading television news presenters, Sergey Briullov, host of The News of the Week on Saturday nights. Sergey carries a British as well as Russian passport; his family is based in their home in England and his children study there. About a week ago, Briullov disappeared from Russia and eventually surfaced in Brazil, where he says he is doing a film project about the Brazilian attitude to the Ukraine-Russia War. No one is fooled for a moment about the fact that Briullov is just one more traitor to his homeland, and comments on the Russian portals bear this out daily.
No, Messrs BBC News, it is not oligarchs whose behavior if not their very existence has embittered the middle and lower class Russians during the current war. Those middle and lower classes constitute the 70% of the population which backs Putin through thick and thin. It is the smaller fish of Fifth Column populations who exist in much greater numbers: as, for example, Russian lawyers who have homes near the Champs Elysees and split their time between France and their law offices in Moscow, whence the money from their servicing oligarchs comes. Then there is the intelligentsia, the university dons, the occupants of often important offices in government and private public institutions who loathed Putin from his first election to the presidency in 2000 and have never relented. Their contempt for the broad Russian public, which they see as the great unwashed, as a herd of animals, was never well hidden, and this contempt is now being reciprocated on Russian state television and on the internet.
All of these fissures in Russian society are being deepened and discussed on Russian media as a result of the ongoing war for survival. If Russia is becoming a much less free society, that is a direct result of Western pressure. But there is nothing new under the sun. This was precisely one of the key arguments in favor of détente as opposed to confrontation during the 1990s.
****
The accusation that Putin is a ‘war criminal’ coming from the top U.S. leadership has far greater importance than Western media have given to it. For them, it is just one more joke in a long line of adjectives vilifying the Russian leader. For Biden as Vice President, Putin was ‘a thug.’ For Biden one month into his presidency, Putin was ‘a killer.’ Now the words ‘war criminal’ are actionable, not merely descriptive. In this regard, Vladimir Putin is no longer a man with whom you can negotiate a peace deal in Ukraine Instead, he is a dangerous man who you can justifiably assassinate.
A call for Putin’s assassination was made by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on 4 March. That utterly outrageous and vile statement was never properly rebuked by the President, by the Secretary of State.
If there are officials in the Biden administration who are actually seeking to have the Russian President assassinated, then it is one more example of their total ignorance of the ‘enemy,’ an ignorance that is possible only because anyone who knows something worth knowing is denounced in American universities and on air as a Putin stooge.
The murder of Vladimir Putin in the present context of the ongoing war to the death over global overlordship would surely precipitate the launch of Russia’s nuclear arsenal against the United States. As I have said in the past, the Russian political elite is much more aggressive and much readier to push the button than Vladimir Vladimirovich. I have also said and here repeat, that the Russian Federation likely has First Strike Capability, meaning that it can launch a nuclear attack first, destroy nearly all of America’s arsenals and most important population centers, disorganize or frustrate any counter attack, and rely on its well developed anti-ballistic missile defenses to ward off any of the residual U.S. capability. That was the clear objective of Putin back in 2007 when Russia was humiliated and impotent before the American hegemon. He reached that objective in 2018.

War is on: Thank you for your very insightful post !!! Here are a few of my observation / comments:
#1] “If Russia is becoming a much less free society, that is a direct result of Western pressure.”
Isn’t that what we are seeing all over the globe? This was caused directly by the Color Revolution strategy. Now a government can no longer be sure the opposition media represents genuine domestic dissent (feedback that Putin desires) or if it is ginned-up by one of George Soros’ NGOs and foreign funded. Because governments can’t tell the difference, the reaction is to lock-out all opposition media. And we are seeing this all over the globe as the internet splinters from a global one to national internets. So, what George Soros has managed to do is to create a “Closed Society” not an Open Society.
Furthermore, who in their right mind would experiment with genuine democracy now? If, for example, China decided to go down the democratic path (which many political scientists in China see the benefits of, if you follow their writings) in less than ten years time Soros and Davos would have those democracies and elections completely subverted. The United States has no intention of allowing true democracies to develop, but democracies in name only:
2006 Audio Emerges of Hillary Clinton Proposing Rigging Palestine Election
“Chomsky recalls being taken aback that “anyone could support the idea—offered by a national political leader, no less—that the U.S. should be in the business of fixing foreign elections.”
https://observer.com/2016/10/2006-audio-emerges-of-hillary-clinton-proposing-rigging-palestine-election/
So, thanks to Color Revolutions and slick “corporate election fortification” and “Google algorithm manipulation” a country would be out of its mind to try democracy. IMHO
#2] Russian “Fifth Column”.
If you get on Edward Slavsquat’s substack page you will become quickly aware of the WEF oligarch faction that exists in Russia. I recommend Slavsquat not for his views (many of which I vehemently disagree with) but to understand the infighting going on behind the scenes. It is one of the few interesting windows into the inner workings of Russia for non-Russian speakers. And it was “those WEF people” that Putin was referring to in his latest speech. Xi also has such a faction in China… and this is who Soros / Schwab are pinning their hopes on.
SUMMARY:
So, in collusion, we have a weird reversal going on, where the “authoritarian regimes” on the planet are defending the working classes and the democracies are on the side of the elites. And if you look at the early writings of both Xi & Putin they were very open to democracy… but they now know that they will never be able to introduce free and fair elections thanks to sophisticated Western election meddling techniques and Soro’s Color Revolutions… and that was made crystal clear to them by the last US election in 2020, where it has been made “impossible to deconvolute”, to understand what happened, or to get a fair and transparent recount.
Again, thank you for your post!
To all of those complaining about the machine translation.
If people do not understand it yet, we have the same problems to get formal Russian statements as all of you. It is hellish.
This was an important speech. We’re slowly getting the formal translation together here: http://thesaker.is/president-putin-meeting-on-socioeconomic-support-for-regions/
Everyone in Russia is madly reconfiguring their Information space. I enter a new world on the internet regarding Russia, every morning.
@ Amarynth
No complains, on the contrary, very grateful for all you, from the Saker down who work hard to break the wall of disinfo and keeping us abreast. We are all facing the same wall, and Russia is obviously under a lot of pressure fighting virtual and real attacks from all sides.
I thank you, Amarynth, and all of you in the Saker’s team, for your hard work.

Interviews with escapees from Mariupol. (Machine translation)
….”They always wanted to hide behind us”.
In Mariupol, people had to save their lives by sitting in basements for more than two weeks – about 300 people took refuge in one of them. Ukrainian nationalists were not allowed to leave the city. In addition to building barricades on humanitarian roads, they came to civilians with threats – the military openly forbade leaving Mariupol along the corridors provided by Russia, otherwise – shooting.
“Russia helped, Russian troops – thank you! We hate Ukraine. The Ukrainian army shot at us. We’ve been sitting in the basement with the children since the 26th. Of course I’m glad we left,” describes a resident of Mariupol evacuation…..

Reports of dead US military members. The sad realities of war seem to be reaching all corners of the planet.
“During the liberation of the settlement of Marinka from Ukrainian militants, the stronghold of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 54th brigade was destroyed, during the inspection of which samples of foreign weapons were found – NLAW, SMAW grenade launchers, AN / TPQ-48 radar, as well as personal belongings of American instructors who directly took part in the hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian national battalions
In the backpack, which was next to the remains of one of the militants, the flag of the state of Tennessee of the United States was found, as well as other items that made it possible to identify the dead as: Captain Michael Hawker (Cpt. Michael Hawker), lieutenant Logan Shrum (Lt. Logan Shrum) and Lieutenant Cruz Toblin (Lt. Cruz Tomblin), who came to Ukraine to kill civilians in Donbass in 2018”
