Good program today. Though we really didn’t learn much that we didn’t already suspect. But it did confirm those points. I felt sorry for the Turk in Ankara. You could tell how he had to choose his words carefully to avoid really criticizing Erdogan (a sure route to jail). And that was painful to watch. You could tell there was much more he would have liked to say.The point he did make was important though. The “old” PM was going to be the scapegoat for Turkey’s past mistakes. He may actually “deserve” to be anyway. But whether or not,he will be. Its similar (though so far less violent) to when the Grand Vizier failed the Ottoman Sultan,and ended up beheaded or strangled as the way of being fired from the job.
