I kind of lost interest when everyone with a problem was black. A few white faces were shown later for the generalization.

It seems to be so painful for progressives to admit that we are truly living in least violent and repressive era during human history. Nor is our climate, especially in most developed countries more horrible stage than lets say 100 years ago. It doesn’t surprise me at all why there seems to be clear link between highly mythic nature adoration of German Nazi regime and modern Greens. Yes – Nazis were really the first Greens on earth. They did love more wild animals than humans.
I think this is a pretty good summing up, and dot connection between claiming victim status, virtual signaling, and censoring speech and people.
Narcissists are very manipulative. Narcissism is often confused with vanity—being vain.
Actually, vanity is kind of a harmless form of self-involvement.
In fact, if one really is pretty, why not enjoy being pretty.
Generally the power of prettiness doesn’t last very long!!
But narcissism goes much further, and deeper. Narcissism is a need to control the common narrative to ensure continued victim status and to avoid taking responsibiilty for things one really has done (because after all, one was the victim!)
This is done by controlling others, often in pretty devious ways that actually do harm others whom one ends up using or whom one harms by enlisting various types of proxies. Or, via self-serving wedges and divisions between people created by the narcissist, social groupings such as families, or groups of friends, or even clubs, are harmed.
In the Salem case, the hysterical girls were very good at getting others in the town to be their proxies and to do the actual heavy lifting of accusing and punishing the “witches.” One must really beware of getting too involved in other people’s problems. It is one thing to listen with empathy; quite another to get involved to the extent that personal boundaries are dissolved and one ends up willing to actually act for the other.

Liberals and their IDpol, wokeness, faux-progressivism, tolerance of the intolerable (etc), I’ve always thought their hippieness-on-steroirds and pretend righteousness was a deliberate over compensation to disguise a deep-seated darkness are/or perversity of one kind or another, it didn’t occur to me to straight-up link them to dark-triad traits, but it sure makes sense.
There should’ve been a deeper exploration of this concept in the vid, rather than getting side-tracked by the ‘cancel culture’ issue, that’s been done to death by now. Plus, his account of the Salem witch trials is a very wikipedia (superficial) version of the events, in reality the whole deal was about two powerful families (or clans) at war with each other wanting to: disappear the other in order to snatch their assets, wealth, property (etc), a means to seize power, basically. In other words, a story as old as the hills, right? which, granted, the non-cartoonish version of historical events, it really doesn’t lend itself to the point he’s driving at, in which case he should’ve picked a better analogy then.
He should’ve added something like this, a study that give us a glimpse on the hidden sociopathy and pathological self-loathing of liberals…

The paper (pdf) describes the twist that Pizarro and colleagues put on the trolley question when they asked it to California undergraduates:
Half of the participants received a version of the scenario where the agent could choose to sacrifice an individual named “Tyrone Payton” to save 100 members of the New York Philharmonic, and the other half received a version where the agent could choose to sacrifice “Chip Ellsworth III” to save 100 members of the Harlem Jazz Orchestra.
While the study didn’t specifically mention each person’s race, the researchers reasoned that “Tyrone” would be stereotyped as black, while “Chip” would be stereotyped as white. On the saving end, they assumed that the Philharmonic would be thought of as white, while the Harlem Jazz Orchestra would be assumed black.
When faced with this choice, each individual in the study group showed different reactions based on their political leanings–the liberals were more likely to sacrifice “Chip” to save the Orchestra, while conservatives were more likely to sacrifice “Tyrone” to save the Philharmonic.

IMO, Mr. Watson revealed his true self (controlled opposition) when he flew to H-K to support the rioting there. Most of the time he repeats someone else’s talking points, however in slightly censored form. The benefit of his work is that he reaches relatively large audience, those curious enough will dig deeper and get past him.
