Dear friends,
Is there somebody here who could translate this video into English? Especially, the segment between 1:20 and 11:41. But, of course, translating the full video would be better.
If somebody could volunteer his/her time and effort to translate this video, I would recommend posting a note here in the comments section so that others do not duplicate the effort. Maybe some of you could get in touch with each other to get that done faster?
The best result would be if somebody could 1) translate the audio 2) add subtitles to the video and 3) upload that somewhere on YouTube or Dailymotion. Then all I would have to do is use the embed code and post the video here.
Thanks a lot in advance!
The Saker

If it is possible to do this-

Why don’t they send video excerpts of on-going atrocities on Live TV.
Just an idea
Best wishes
I find this man’s viewpoints very interesting. Looking forward to the translation.
Hi Saker,
Could you please shed some light on an apparent shutting down of influential pro-Russian blogs on Livejournal? Have you heard of this?
Who is behind this and what can be done?
Maija: i just an email of another person offering to translate it. Do you want to work at it by yourself or with another person. In the latter case, please email me.
Kind regards and THANKS!
The Saker
I have so little knowledge, but much curiosity… which led me to the web site of the gentleman being interviewed, where I could at least use yandex.com to translate his biography:

Looking forward to the translated interview with much gratitude for those who do the work to make it possible.

Saker,
Do you know what is going on in Iraq?

False Flag?
What would help is if someone could provide a transcript in the original Russian.
Regarding the twitter link I have provided, it has a lot of pro-Urk / anti-Russian anti-Syrian on it but it has the pics on Iraq
Iraq is falling to ISIS/ISIL today . . . an event that the Western media is downplaying in the extreme, but cannot cover up. The Guardian has overtly declared itself as a CIA front, launching a ‘New East’ series consisting of transparent anti-Russia propaganda. Belarus will be attacked next.
My semi-informed perspective: the issue for Russia is the defense of Russia. NATO enters Ukraine in July for exercises. Novorossiya will hold out. Clear, direct statements from the Russian government today indicate that time is running out. Russia will intervene when the US-backed fascist military builds up to a certain point. America is failing massively on all fronts foreign and domestic. It’s gonna be a long hot summer and a cold cold winter.
I’m new to this blog. Good information. Even the mindless derogatory remarks tell us a lot about our genetics and why the situation is the way it is.

Billions of dollars are unaccounted for in the books of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Parliamentarians of 28 NATO countries have no idea how much taxpayers money flows through the military alliance and whether it is spent legitimately, says the Dutch National Court of Auditors. This is due to an administrative backlog of decades and abundantly marking expenditures as ‘undisclosed’. Following is an English translation of a story in de Volkskrant.
> Billions of dollars are unaccounted for …
Hehe! Does anyone remember when in September 2001, one day before 9/11, Donald Rumsfeld admitted to the public that the Pentagon cannot track 2.3 trillion dollars in transactions?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IokFNAHx4-I
Or does anyone remember when the U.S. government flew nearly $12bn in shrink-wrapped $100 bills into Iraq, then distributed the cash with no proper control over who was receiving it and how it was being spent?
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2007/feb/08/usa.iraq1
… and so on, and so on. Who knows how many billion or trillion dollars went missing from the Pentagon budget alone (bailouts aside) since Rumsfeld made his announcement in 2001? I think, by now it should be clear to even the most trusting soul that the U.S. government is running a racket to funnel taxpayers’ money into private pockets.
I don’t believe for a moment that things are any better in the notoriously secretive and corrupt “defense establishments” of other NATO member countries like Britain, France, Germany etc. …
@Petri Krohn 22:48:
What would help is if someone could provide a transcript in the original Russian.
Indeed. If you want to create a written translation of audio, I don’t see how that can be done at all efficiently unless you do the transcription and the translation in two separate stages. Also, the transcription in the original language can be fairly precise, whereas translation is always a matter of interpretation.
Finally, once a transcription is available, anyone who doesn’t understand the original language can use an automatic translator to get a basic idea of what is being said.
Dear Saker
Thank you for presenting to your readers another interesting and “out of the box” Russian thinker. He is right along the lines of Andrei Fursov, another one of my favorites.
It seems that the Americanist System is now under siege everywhere, from Mosul to Virginia, and it is hard to see how it could sustain a coherent campaign in the Ukraine, when it is apparent that it does not have the means to finance yet another costly war or conversely to sustain a credible and enduring peace, let alone future. in that fractured land. Negotiations with Russia are the only way out of this morass, and in time even the “Dead Enders” at the State Department will have to recognize that simple fact.
Enjoy your time on the Swannee river,
American Russophile
Saker, did you overlook my response to Anonymous (10 June, 2014 23:41)?
Or did you deliberately suppress it? And if so, why?
