As you can see for yourself, as of tonight THE ENTIRE UKRAINE (all regions) is under air attack alert. This is especially for those “alternatively gifted” folks who do not believe that Russia has air superiority over the entire Ukraine.

BREAKING WWIII
Pentagon Admits Helping Ukraine Forces Sink Russian Warships
The Pentagon has just admitted that US military personnel are directly training and overseeing Ukrainian missions to sink Russian warships in the Black Sea. The stunning admission comes months after the April 14 sinking of Russia’s Black Sea flagship Moskva guided missile cruiser, which was carrying a crew of 510. It was nothing short of a disastrous and humiliating blow to the Russian Navy, and it was later confirmed that a pair of Neptune missiles took it out. It was also later revealed in that particular case the Ukraine forces had assistance from US intelligence.
But now the Pentagon has revealed that in more recent attacks on Russian warships, the US role runs even deeper that previously admitted: “Ukrainian forces who sunk a Russian warship with Harpoon missiles in June trained in the United States, the Pentagon’s top weapons buyer Bill LaPlante says,” according to a fresh report in Defense One.

I thought that the ship didn’t sink, or there was an internal fire, or it was towed back to port safely? Now you’re telling me it was destroyed by Neptunes? I don’t know who to believe.
Apparently it floated for a while, but sank (as a result of firefighting efforts?) before it reached the port.
Hi petr, that’s what I heard too. The explosion happened on the inside and blew outward. They were hinting that it was sabotage.
Doesn’t add up. Moskva was anchored facing due south, yet damage was on port side (facing Russia, not Odessa), and its air defense system was in “neutral” (no alerts). I prefer the internal fire/sabotage or possible mine explanation suggested by Andrei Martyanov. We’ll see.
Indeed, mining with the cover story of an attack by some extremely enhanced Kh-35 (Neptune) could be the ideal “low” risk intelligence operation. It would take a while to analyze the wreckage on exact impact profile. Until certainty would be reached, the Russian navy would call off any further operation. This might have been an urgent need (Odessa?). From the Ukrainian side it seemed quite risky to show capacity and location of their missile systems. Because if this attack would have been intercepted, which was still the most likely scenario, it would have meant a big loss for Ukraine for any future need. Plus the origins would be tracked and damaged.
It seems most independent experts are surprised that the Moskva seemed so asleep or acting unaware if indeed a missile attack was involved. Assuming some incapable crew asleep at the wheel sounds way less likely. Then some insider can be assumed knowing some procedures were not operation because of whatever reason.
The broader picture, the tightly arranged show around Zelensky and information or perception management from Kiev and producers, suggests the most likely scenario is that things are not what they seem. And it’s easy to compare with the sabotage in Crimea. High-tech intelligence and preparations by “partners” and actions performed by top Ukrainian commando’s to suggest there’s some powerful, advanced military which isn’t really there. It fits the bill…

The war near Kharkov just got very deadly for the Ukies.
40 Kalibr missiles tore up much of the Ukie formation near Balakleya.
Military correspondent Yuriya Kotenok reports that the Russian Armed Forces struck the Ukrainian group in the Kharkiv region in the Balakliiv direction with more than 40 Kalibr cruise missiles.
“After a massive missile strike, it is hard to count the dead of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he wrote in the Telegram channel.
According to the military correspondent, now Wagner detachments and Special Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry have entered Balakleya.
The 40 Kalibrs is not true and the Russians never left Balakleya to begin with.
I have heard on some Serbian YT news that Ukros surrounded Balakleya completely and that Balakleya can fall easilly
I don’t know if that is the truth but even little success give Ukros courage to continue wat
What Ukros? The Ukraine trenches are filled with 60+yr. old men and women. If you switch to cnn they won’t lie as much, or just continue their regular b/s:
“…Ze’s new ‘top secret’ counter-offensive with million+ troops… planned for (date here) at 1000hrs sharp.”
I have no idea what is really going on
I can see only that Ukros do not give up. So from where they get do many manpower it is beyond me
Mercenaries of all stripes: neo-nazi nationals, foreign nationals, foreign “volunteers.” A proxy war.
Originally, Ze tried to mobilize cats and dogs but animal rights activists stopped him. That’s why he was forced to use women, children and elderly.
What?!? Million is million, right?
Balakleia was always exposed on three fronts, and this is still the case today.
The town is still held by Russians, but the Ukrainians are bypassing it and trying to develop their offensive deeper and behind it.
We need to wait another 24 hours to really get an idea of what is going on.
Hello! Why would Russia use Kalibr where Smerch can do better job? For god sake Smerch missiles have 243kg thermobaric charges! Or cluster. Or mines. Or guided antitank munition. Or enough high explosive do dig 10m hole. Or all of the above, simultaneously. This is weapon of choice for concentrated Ukraine lemmings in front of Balakleya. Here is reminiscence of the Ukies future:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T-OPCt5wuMg
Also, Kalibr has 500kg warhead. FAB500 exactly the same. Only much, much cheaper. Do your math.
Remember last charge of jihadists on Aleppo? 10000+ turned to ashes in one botched attack. Hour before, internet was overwhelmed with cheering how Aleppo is about to fall. Not unlike what we see now. Ain’t that definition of insanity?
As soon Ukraine fill the pocket with enough forces, the entrance to the Hell will close. One doesn’t have to be clairvoyant to foresee tweets like “That’s what I call target rich environment.” In Russian.
My understanding is that Ukraine and the US are allies in this war so it shouldn’t be a surprise to know that the US sunk some russian ships without any consequences.
Hello Braj.
The SMO is a consequence.
Fair thee well.
Right. Enjoy inconsequential tenfold increase in energy and food price this winter. Highly likely, mobilization in near future, also.
So much for the “Russia depleted its ammunition” narrative, which has been replaced by “North Korea & Iran replenishing Russian artillery & drones” narrative. 😆😅🤣
Now it makes sense: after pushing the narrative “running out”, they now have “bought from other evil countries”!
Right, bought from evil countries out of desperation. The narratives are getting thinner and thinner.
what’s so funny about this? it makes perfect sense that Russia may buy ammunition from a third party if stores were being depleted or destroyed 🤷♂️
@petr
What is funny? The lack of creativity of Ukro-spin-masters. They simply use reports on Ukrainian current problems and invoke Word Replace command: “Ukraine” -> “Russia”.
That is not particularly funny by itself, but those who fall for such idiocy, over and over again, are hilarious.

I really have a very bad intuition…major casus belli false flag(but where?), first strike, killing of VVP.
They need desperatly (as they are toasted, their ponzi is going to collapse), a ‘plausible deniability ‘ major event.
They know it is over for 404. Today Putin statements (very good for the all zone B and for we slaves in zone A), but they will never ever accept the fall of the dollar(euro following or preceding more likely).

This might be NATO false-flag since Albania is practically governed by the USA,one of the most loyal one in the world to the USA
It may also be ZIO neocons wet dream, Iran?
Attack Iran!? Opening THIRD front in the same time? Iran will obliterate all oil infrastructure in an instant. Refineries, hubs, pipelines. All.
You do know that US military consumes 70% of US petrochemical energy? In peace time.
Attack Iran = no more energy for the people. Oil your bike chain and check closets for warm clothing.
Unbelievable. Western elite STILL do not comprehend gravity of the situation they brought upon themselves.
I agree with you but Isra hell will try anything to deny parties of the JPCOA to find a new deal which will allow Iran to recup some of hier freezed assets, sell oil to the EU and Gas with Russian help at a later stage, as Iran has a debt with Russia, Moscow helped them a lot during their sanctions.
After the midterms it will be too late for Isra hell, the window will close till after 2024 potus vote which means at the earliest 2025.
They were getting bombed all day, everyday, so much that warnings don’t mean anything anymore.
I fail to see the connection between air superiority and air alerts – aren’t they also sounded for possible rocket attacks or is there a specific rocket-attack alert ??!!
The term itself is also often misleading – although NATO enjoyed total air superiority over serbian airspace, the air defense assets of the serbian army (who managed to shoot down sevieral allied aircraft and drones) led to the issuing of limiting ground attack altitudes for NATO aircraft above 3500 m and later even 5000 m which greatly reduced the accuracy of certain air to ground weapons like unguided free fall bombs, unguided rockets, and gun attacks.
The US and allies enjoyed almost full air superiority over Germany late 1944, but still lost many thousands of aircraft to anti aircraft fire until the end of the war.
In the Ukraine-war, the SU-25’s (heavily armored, the predominant tactical attack aircraft and a far descendant of the famed IL-2 ‘Sturmovik’) go in extremly low and egress extremly low, massively limiting accuracy on attack runs on small enemy ground targets, and further putting limits on available crewmen who are sufficiently capable to master this type of (very difficult -> see first Star Wars movie) attacks, the reason being the all present man-pads (Stinger foremost).
In the current situation with ukrainian incursions with lot’s of tanks and APCs it’s becoming easier for the SU-25s, SU-34s(for high priority targets) and KA-52s to attack because the possible area covering by enemy man pads and other AA-assets is significantly less, especially on moving enemy formations.
Come now, buddy. Do you really use a Star Wars movie as a source? Won´t insult you although you insult every other reader here with that little gem but I´ll call bs and recommend that you don´t go to the Skywalkers for tactical advice in the future lest people call you “exceptional”. When I read the “very difficult -> see first Star Wars movie” my blood pressure just told me to “keep up” and rushed on.
Regarding “I fail to see the connection between air superiority and air alerts – aren’t they also sounded for possible rocket attacks or is there a specific rocket-attack alert” even you should see a trend here, it´s not RF and clients that issue air alerts while the other hand the whole of 404 seems quite red.
Ps, to all that now kvetch about the 404 new offensive I´ll just point to the fact that they(the 404 army) just left their rat holes where they hid for so long and now are in for a war of movement vs an army that has focused on that(and counter-attacks/offensives) so keep your panties on and start your panic after the Ukros beat regular RF units. /DS
@ Dane
StarWars attack on DeathStar is excellent example. Unlike today CGI fights, which are totally simulated and coreogrphed, in StarWars they used footage of real WW2 dogfights as template for motion of physical models. Back in the days, computers were unable to cope with such complexity.
So HDan is right, X-wing does move exactly as Ilyushin or Spitfire.
Welcome back Blacking, you’ve been missed.
I agree. It was easy for me to visualize and appreciate the perspective he laid out. We should always remember in the upside down satanic West, Truth is hidden in the Arts and MSM, Politics, mass education, international organizations and anything solemn and serious consists of Fiction..
From now on I will call him by the nom de guerre, X-wing HDan.
PS – what’s going on in Serbia? Such ominous news last week, then silence
Same old, same old, my dear AHH. What can I say. No shitstorm went around Serbia, ever. Frankly, we get used to it. Meanwhile, those who were born before sanctions in 90es enjoy in the tragicomic spectacle that is playing in EU. It’s a verbatim remake of what happened with exYugoslavia back in the days.
Karma is a bitch.
At the conference held in Casablanca from 14 to 24 January 1943, the Western Allies decided on Germany’s unconditional surrender (Stalin did not take part because of the ongoing Battle of Stalingrad, but later joined the declaration), yet the Nazis still had the strength to launch a surprise Ardennes offensive in the winter of 1944/45, which, however, ended in disaster.
Even if the Ukros launch occasional offensives here and there, it will not change the overall course (Russia’s victory). It will only increase the Ukrainian body count and, unfortunately, the Russian body count as well. Russia cannot be defeated militarily on its borders. So there is no reason to get nervous.

I read your post about “some basic stuff” and I believe I get the gist of it. But I’m wondering if it’s also applicable to the current situation on the Izyum front.
I’m not a military man, so I’m mostly trying to figure out how severe the situation is, in the middle of diffused panic on the telegram channels.
It seems to me that sometimes armies cannot afford to cede territories and implement a mobile defense, because doing so will jeopardize a plan or other allied military units. It doesn’t appear that the Russian command is willing to give up Balakleya or Shevchenkove because by doing so they would allow the UAF access to roads and towns that would make impossible for Russia to supply the Izyum group. In turn that would lead to the need to abandon the northern semi-encirclment on the cities of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, preventing Russia from progressing towards the stated objective of liberating the whole Donbass.
And indeed it seems to me that, according to the news that are coming from the front, the Russian command is trying to move reserves to reinforce the defensive line and has increased the rate of airstrikes in order to try to slow down or stall the UAF attacks.
Some reports seem to imply that some UAF units actually managed to bypass Russian/DPR/LPR positions and are causing trouble running around in the back.
Is there any merit to this interpretation of the events? If so, how can a situation like this be corrected? Or do you believe that Russia will just abandon the position in order to preserve her forces and then come back with a vengence after reorganizing herself? It took them months to gain a foothold in that region.
@Leonardo
One look at the Big Picture and all becomes much clearer. The only real problem for Russians is how to reduce number of Ukraine forces in big cities, without razing them to the ground. Logically, the only way is to lure them out, to make them exit willingly. Which they will do only if they are absolutely sure they can expel Russians once and for all.
It is ruse. Maskirovka. But Ukies didn’t took the bait yet. Maybe they will now, we’ll see.
We’ll know more in a few days, but it’s highly unlikely that the Ukies’ attacks will accomplish anything concrete in their favor. I think it is even the opposite. All the forces and means still available have been directed towards these failed offensives. At the same time Russian forces are launching an offensive with additional fresh forces, marking a new and more dynamic phase in the special military operation.
One of Napoleon’s military maxims was,” Don’t reinforce weakness”
Zelensky does the opposite.
Fighters on the front say Ukraine forces are making “a fairly high rate of advance” thanks to foreign help.
Maxim Fomin, a fighter of the Vostok Battalion (DPR), that we are fighting the whole world.
English speakers are attacking, German howitzers are firing near Izyum. Ukraine would not be able to fight on its own, but it receives help from all over the world, and the British and American generals command the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who, regardless of the losses of the Ukrainians, conduct operations with a fairly high rate of advance.
Did they hit a single power plant? Government official? Telecommunications center?
Or some guy in a ditch?
Russia is losing this war by not correcting the mistakes FROM FEBRARY!
Not enough men. Not hitting the infrastructure.
Russia deserves to lose and is losing.
troll alert……..what vitriol………….
After 6 and half month no one should make any conclusions. If Ukies can’t win big they will lose a lot. This either trap for them or RF military is too weak to really win this war during next 3 years.
