Russia is beginning to respond to the insane sanctions, and the sanctions are insane.
“Russia will stop deliveries of rocket engines to US – Russian Space Agency chief. The Roscosmos chief added, “Let them fly into space on their broomsticks.”
And we all say OORAH!
OneWeb Pulls Workers from Russian-run Baikonur Satellite Launch Project
The London-based tech company OneWeb has removed its employees from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrone, where they had planned to send 36 Internet satellites into orbit using a Russian Soyuz rocket.
The move comes after Russian space agency Roscosmos demanded guarantees that their satellites wouldn’t be used for military purposes, and that the UK government – which owns shares in OneWeb – divest itself from the company.
The Russian (ROC) Paralympics athletes have just been banned by the Olympics Committee from taking part in the Olympics in Beijing.
But Coca-Cola will continue to operate in Russia
The ICC (International Criminal Court) is in the process of accepting the Ukraine’s complaint of war crimes or crimes against humanity against Russia and Belarus in the Ukraine. (Israel and Palestine comes to mind and also the Yemen). The complainer has to have membership of course, but the ICC has awarded a quasi membership to Ukraine from nowhere.
Russian individuals are facing hate-filled attacks, diplomatic buildings and athletes are being targeted for exclusion. Reports of Russians being discriminated against are spreading far and wide. This is similar to what happened the previous two years with Chinese citizens as a result of the propaganda against China.
There is a very dark underbelly to sanctions which are of course war by any other name. Trump called it! by calling it a Trade War, when it was against China. What the west wants, is to loot Russia from the ground up and just make them go away in some form or fashion, because they cannot take Russia by Dollar and/or Bomb.
Western governments, media, think tanks etc., are so desperate to believe their version of the outcome of the Ukraine war that they are seeing things which have no basis in reality. And their fear that things will not turn out the way they want them to, is visible. They are having Terrible Two Tantrums.
It is however filtering through to European leaders. They are figuring out that Russian sanctions are already having an impact and on them directly.
And the countries are not all in some special cahoots here. They are being threatened. We have news from India that they are being threatened with sanctions because they stood neutral in the last security council vote and did not condemn Russia in one or another fashion. Of course, they do not call it by name but rather: US weighing up sanctions against India over Russian military stockpiles (The Hill). Please be aware, this is not some game, but the stakes are high, as the sanctions war and the cyber war are all, and I mean all, western attempts at regaining its lost power and luster.
We see how Russian-owned businesses, private jets, money, and real estate are being looted. The west is just stealing it, like oil and grain from Syria. This time they want to do to Russia what they did in the early 1990’s yet again. The idea is to rape Russia again, because how dare Russia charge for their oil and for their business. How dare Russia act like a country or even people that have the right to make a business, do trade, be concerned about their security and function in the wider world. What is being tried here, is to do to Russia exactly the same as what was done to Japan, after Japan surrendered in WWII, but this time they want to do as much as they can, without waging real war (so far).
You can see an example of the looting here: Poland started seizing (or looting) Russian Property in Warsaw, including even a school building.
And then of course there was Josep Borrell saying in a fit of pique: Oh Dear, we cannot find Russia’s Central Bank Assets. They must have planned for sanctions. (This from memory as I cannot find his tweet. But then again, this is what they do! They make a big statement and then quietly delete what they said.).
This is what sanctions look like. Everything has a ‘carve out’. Sanctions do not work, excepting to pressurize and gain the upper hand in western media. This is how they think, trying to find a concerted calculated effort to loot Russia again, but the mistakes being made are not only comical but also very very serious, and perhaps not for Russia.
Here is one story:
1. On Tuesday a law was passed prohibiting Russian owned, operated, controlled, registered or flagged ships from accessing British ports – but theoretically foreign vessels could carry Russia’s oil and gas to Britain.
OOPS! BUT …
2. The UK Department of Transport confirmed that Russian oil and gas can still arrive in the country despite sanctions barring Russian ships from entering their ports, as bans only apply to the vessels not the cargo itself.
OOPS! Did we go bananas again? How does oil and gas get there without the vessel? Let’s try and fix it.
3. Well, we don’t know. We are So Confused, so how about British MPs calling for the Expulsion of ALL Russians from UK.
Japan’s JAL, canceled ALL flights to Europe – the airlines would normally use Russian airspace to make the journey.
OOPS! (This country is killing its own industry).
Bank bailouts by taxpayers due to Russian sanctions? But of course. Some shareholders of Société Générale in France are speaking about a €2.7 billion loss linked to sanctions on its Russian subsidiary Rosbank.
OOPS! How about sanctioning your own company? Please bail out the bank! They’re apparently asking for indemnities from French and European authorities.
It has become known that the US nuclear industry is lobbying to continue importing enriched uranium from Russia at low prices despite the situation in Ukraine, as it is seen as a key element in keeping US electricity prices low.
OOPS! Is it time for flying off on a broom again?
Btw, the flagship Apple Store has just opened again in Russia, with iPhones and other tech now returning with a 20-30% markup.
Is it really that simple? Are these western influences really committing economic harakiri just so they can hide their own economic fall and of course: Blame Russia?
The true colors of the west are now shown in full daylight. Their claims on a monopoly on virtue is a clear and convincing demonstration of their own hypocrisy. There is no need to listen to the West.
Russia is taking it. They are taking what they must and protecting what they must. The big reveal is how many organizations and companies are totally controlled by western financial sources. This is the biggest surprise to many of us. We truly live in a world of neo-nazis and fascists. Look, I knew they were in the Ukraine, and in spots in the world, but I never knew it was this widespread. Personally, I cannot wait for Zone B to fulfill its purpose.
And then the question. What about China? And now we see some sunshine, although it is a muted and a nuanced response but there is no failure to respond, every time!
A quote from our own Larchmonter445:
“The Chinese are learning a lesson that reality is what is shot at you by your enemies. They see how Russia was set up for destruction using Ukraine with NATO. It brings them back to Belgrade ’99 and the bombing of their embassy.
Russia just got the emotional support of a billion four hundred million souls.
I bet if Russia needed volunteers and they put out a call, 10 million Chinese would be there in a day.
The Double Helix has history. Korean War. WWII. Harbin. Unit 731. Chinese and Russians were both used for Jap medical experiments and tortured together.
It’s not all just recent alignment and coordination and cooperation.
This human cohesion against the Hegemon is deep. Visceral. Existential.”
China’s action works like this:
A tranche of sanctions are announced. Vehicles, phones and whatever.
China publishes: Chinese firms see opportunity in cars, smartphones in Russia after Western exit
Insane and stupid sanctions are announced
China publishes: New ‘sanctions’ against Russian cats shocks Chinese netizens, trending top on social media
Sanctions Phase 4 is announced by the EU
China publishes: Western sanctions only create more problems for the global economy
Russia gets nailed by a cyber war
China publishes: Exclusive: US NSA launches cyberattacks against China for a decade, making citizens’ privacy ‘run naked’
Biden or some western EU stooge makes a speech
China publishes: The US tries hard to hijack world’s view on Russia, but more countries are not buying it
Certain Russian banks are cut from SWIFT
China publishes Russian comments: For citizens, this will be a problem only for those whose purchases and whose lives are most connected with currency, like in dollars and euros, in their consumption. The main part of the population that purchases Russian goods from the Russian markets, using Russian currency or Russian cards (ie., normal people), will not experience any significant threats to their standard of living and quality over the next few months.
China publishes: Unilateral actions violate China-U.S. trade deal and WTO principles
In addition and it is not very visible, there is a soft process happening around China. It is the same process as what we’ve seen with Russia. The west is trying the same thing but with lesser noise.
Biden sends former officials to Taiwan
China publishes: It is to ‘offset Pompeo’ and pacify DPP
Japan talks about hosting US nuclear arms
China publishes: Beijing urges Tokyo to ‘deeply reflect on its history’
And so we can see the response of China to each move that the Seppuku Sanctions crowd makes. Take a look at this image. Please do so, I cannot load this on the blog. The title is Aggressive Expansion. Please take a good look and you will know for sure that China understands the issues exactly correctly.
Do you still feel conflicted? Do you still not know that this is another attempted Russia Rape?
Russian MFA: “The EU’s (…) unilateral restrictions, (…) incompatible with international law, are not directed against the Russian people. Brussels officials (…) are saying openly they intend to inflict the maximum possible damage (…) “suppress Russia’s economic growth.”
A few more images from China.
And the Canadian Embassy in Beijing put up “We support Ukraine” sign in Chinese. Few hrs later…
The humor in China is noticeable and there is not one Chinese source that I follow, that is not clearly with Russia.
But it is different, as this time Russia will not be raped. The Ukrainian actions may be the first move and action may not stay there. In fact, I believe action will not stay there, as it was very well described by Putin and Xi Jinping, in their political manifesto. The world simply cannot continue with a small part of it Raping the Rest, because this small part is unable to support themselves without aggression and looting. Western countries have begun the process of destroying their own economies’ – Russian FM spox
Russia may be planning to confiscate western assets inside Russia and convert them to Russian assets to balance the theft. Intellectual property has major value.
Many of us are despairing as Russian news and Russian information is being sanctioned and suppressed in the free west. So, where do we get Russian news? The answer is: From the Chinese Russian News Store. Every major Chinese publication has Russia / Ukraine round-the-clock coverage.
Expectations
My expectation is that we may see the UN in its current form, just collapse. If this august body can simply ban diplomats against all norms of agreement and international law, why should it exist in its current form in its current location?
My further expectation is that Russia will be just fine economically. They’ve prepared for this. Many banks issued credit cards are inter-operable with the Chinese system. Russia says clearly that they will use the other mechanisms that were developed exactly for this. The sanctions are a massive pretense and an overreach of major proportions. They will all lead to a further de-dollarization.
Russia (along with the other BRICS nations) has an incentive to introduce a global digital currency that can be used anywhere (to export energy for example). The West has an incentive to introduce CBDCs at the national level that can only be used within a given economic zone. This will form part of the multipolar war.
A further expectation is that these sanctions (from hell) will speed up both de-dollarization and a complete economic collapse of the west. They can do their reset. Nobody else is interested. The sanctions don’t work. They have massive carve outs with Big Headlines but in the fine print, they say: We don’t really mean that because they exclude the important things from the sanctions like gas, like oil, metals and Coca Cola.
Russian MFA: “The EU’s (…) unilateral restrictions, (…) incompatible with international law, are not directed against the Russian people. Brussels officials (…) are saying openly they intend to inflict the maximum possible damage (…) “suppress Russia’s economic growth.”
And then one can only chuckle and say, Russia singlehandedly shut down the green agenda. https://www.rt.com/business/550968-baltic-pipe-construction-resumed/
Welcome to the first skirmish in the move to human multi-polarity.
Hi,
You mention Nazi in the text above. I will contribute with a Jimmy Dore show program on youtube bringing up a speech by Yevhen Karas, just a few months ago, that is the leader of C14. Hear him bragging about their involvement i maidan coup 2014 and other thisng he brag about like killing. A really horrific person.
I believe this should be spread. I knew about these things since I have followed this since 2014 but many dont know about it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfaAyiP8Wuc&ab_channel=TheJimmyDoreShow
It’s been great to see Jimmy turn his attention away from AOC and covid to illuminate the Ukraine for what it really is. He surprised me actually.
Jimmy and Lee Camp (Redacted Tonight) are what I call the “Legit Left”. They really want freedom for everyone and call BS when it gets spewed.
Max has done great coverage of Syria and now Ukraine at his site thegreyzone.com and they call it as it is. I like them.
Lee and Max are Jewish but cut Israel zero slack when they goose step on the Palestinians. True courage. They get their careers attacked just like Gilad Atzmon does.
You misspelled the domain name: https://thegrayzone.com
Except that he skipped over the most important part at14:57 and that is Ihor Kolomoyski. Conveniently.
Nobody wants to talk about where the Jews fall into all of this. Neo-Nazis running the interior ministry and the army under a Jewish president with arms supplied from Israel. Isn’t that rich.
Fact is, as usual, they are running the show and not a word from anyone. Maybe that is the real target of Putin. The Nazis are just window dressing and without their finances they would disappear in no time, because they are useful idiots and when the time comes they will be liquidated and blamed for everything.
Everything talked about here is just superficial hot air. The real war is somewhere else.
I noticed how Jimmie glided over Kolomoisky.
I assumed it was because of ignorance.
Jimmy was focusing on neo Nazis, a concept that he understands.
I reckon the Jewish connection is a bit beyond his (current) pay scale.
He did broach the issue of people in the West saying that there can’t be any neo-Nazis because Ze is Jewish.
IMO if Jimmy succeeds in convincing his viewers that they are being lied to about the role of neoNazis in the Ukraine–and I though Max Blumenthal’s commentary was excellent—then that is really important, even if the financial background is left undiscussed.
I expect the Americans are also financing the neoNazis, but perhaps they are “only” sending them weapons. I should think that the Russians would want to investigate the funding of the neoNazis. But they are also not always straightforward when it comes to Jews. Maybe this time they would be. If they want to bring Israel to heel in the ME.
It is important for at least some portion of American mainstream viewers to understand that just like the invasion itself, if there are high civilian casualties in cities like Mariupol, that, too, is the result of provocations and actions by those “freedom fighters” of Ukraine and their sponsors in the USA and UK.
Poor Ze. He may well end up dead. Then he would become a martyr. I hope the Russians are offering him a way out, just to save his pathetic skin and prevent his sanctification.
I think saving his skin is on the list of things to talk about w/Putin. He’s done quite a dance to avoid being worth more dead than alive; but he’s quite ‘over-committed’.
The Straussians, stupid, the Straussians.
Well this short clip of Vanessa Beeley’s leaves nothing to the imagination.
Here they are fully admitting that they have fun killing …. Plus more.

Thank God for this. Where can I get a russian passport? I want to be a russian !
The West just are demonized with evil things. Thank you very much for the truth, because I Know It’s The Truth. God Bless You And All The RUSSIAN AND CHINESE People.
No caps please – most changed. Next time will go to trash. Mod.
El Borrell, shut up, belongs to one of the most corrupt parties in existence, the PSOE, which stands for Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party. He was a minister in all the successive governments of Felipe Gónzalez, they were in power from 1982 to 1996. He and his party are the least likely to talk about morality. They’re bloody looters, they’d loot their own organs if they had the chance.

Flick case: Spanish plot of a great case of illegal financing of parties and tax evasion in the FRG, by the far-right billionaire Friedrich Karl Flick. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation, close to the SPD, allocated donations from Flick worth a million marks to finance the PSOE.
The case was dismissed on a technicality, the money received is not declared illegal because a law had not been approved until a year later.
Government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (2004-2011)
Government of Pedro Sánchez (2018-present)
That of Pedro Sánchez, there are not many, because the man pays all the news, which are at 4 candles, as we say in Spain, they are in debt and desperate for money, the Government pays them with money from the Spaniards, institutional advertising , anti-drug ads, traffic ads and things like that. They have bribed them and keep quiet as dead, so as not to lose their bribe.

Hi all… just a south seas pespective on the Ukraine/Russian situation and pose a question that perhaps we all need to ask regardless of where we reside.
Is Putin on the side of humanity or is he just another Mr Global asset who engages six ways to sunday in order to help systematically genocide and entrap the masses?
I am keen to get some dialogue and discussion going in NZ because personally, I think that Putin and the RF are being totally misrepresented by the media and of course at the same time massively demonised by the Mr Global collective.
This is a monumental risk for humanity because of the fact that the situation in Ukraine could easily escalate into a nuclear confrontation and turn vast swaths of the Northern Hemisphere into a permanent wasteland. I see this dangerous situation as Mainstreet’s biggest chance at kicking Mr Global completely into touch if Russia can prevail in Ukraine.
To me, this situation is vastly more dangerous than the Cuban missile crisis of the ’60s simply because of the appalling collective idiocy and corrupt nature of today’s Western ‘leaders’.
Many Western commentators seem to assume that Putin is just another Mr Global asset… as such IMO they completely misconstrue the Global chessboard and are completely clueless that Russia is in fact the main reason why Mr global could well be facing impending doom.
I will begin with one very important premise…if Putin is part of this collective, then we all may as well all kiss our arses goodbye right now.
Personally, I have developed a very simple quick litmus test that I use to determine the likelihood of whether or not a country is a paid-up Mr Global member.
I do a roughly 30-minute analysis of their Central bank model and also tally up the percentage of the country’s banking assets that are owned by the western private banking cartel. Trust me when I use this guide the RF is NOT a Mr Global asset… indeed nothing could be further from the truth.
It is my observation that countries with predominantly state, public, and coop owned banking assets such as Russia, Iran, Khazakstan etc, are absolutely the mortal enemies of Mr Global… if you have any personal doubts about that then please reflect on the history of what happened in Libya.
Also, look what could have transpired in Iran under Trump’s idiotic moves… if the US military had not been severely put in their place and reminded that it can’t just simply, out of the blue, pick up any country on earth and throw them against the wall…and just for the hell of it.
The fact is that Russia has more than enough land resources than it knows what to do with anyway. It is not in the habit of re-absorbing the territories of the old USSR. It is however determined to preserve its security and to avoid ever having to fight a war on its own territory… Putin continually reminds the West of the fact but this message simply goes in one ear and out the other.
A tragic history of attacks from the West and carnage in the tens of millions, tells us clearly that we can hardly blame Russia for drawing this line in the sand. Also, what on earth would they want with a neo-Nazi-infested country like Ukraine anyway… it is far more trouble than it is worth.
There are two overwhelming reasons why Putin has been so utterly patient in liberating the Donbas and stopping the 24/7 terrorism and murder imposed on the Russian ethnic people there from these murderous U$ installed Banderista neo-Nazis… each of these reasons alone would have meant Russia would have had its arse severely kicked by the West if they had tried to address this tragedy prematurely…
#1 Putin would have loved to have cleaned up this Nazi cesspool in 2014 right at the time of the blatantly criminal U$ 5-billion dollar sponsored Maidan coup, but he knew that Russia was not yet economically self-sufficient enough… neither was its economy sufficiently stable at that stage to withstand the inevitably massive sanctions and the financial onslaught that the Mr Global collective of lapdog vassal Western World would have imposed.
#2 Militarily and defence wise, Russia was not ready in 2014 to challenge the combined might of the U$ and NATO and the rest of the world that suffers from such an advanced and permanent state of rabid Russiaphobia and paranoia. Sadly Putin had little choice but to endure eight long years of genocide and perpetual terrorism of his country folk in the Donbas.
Putin’s principal objectives should now be absolutely crystal clear even to the most dimwitted Western observer…
– To demilitarise Ukraine so that it is not a permanent threat to Russia’s borders and security
– To create a buffer zone between Russia and the collective crazies in the West that suffer from varying degrees
of rabid to bordering on terminal hatred of all things Russian.
– Keep a buffer zone to minimise nuclear threats being installed there by Western crazies
– Clean up the bio-weapon labs in Ukraine that pose serious threats to Russia
– Stop Ukraine from joining Nato
– Stop Ukraine from ever becoming nuclear-capable
In short, the timing of the birthing of the Donbas twins, which was the main catalyst for the Ukraine crisis, has absolutely nothing to do with the waning of the Covid war. On balance, I fail to see how this plays into Russia’s hand anyway, apart from the fact that the West is in more chaos than ever financially, socially, militarily and leadership wise.
If this gives Putin any advantage then I say great, but it amounts to little more than a fortunate coincidence from Russia’s perspective. Besides, why interfere prematurely anyway when your so-called and self contrived adversaries are full time shooting themselves in both feet.
What I see now is a beautifully humanitarian RF vision unfolding. We now have the two fledgling Donbas republics to add to the Crimean model which will be both RF protectorates, and independently self-governed at the same time.
They will no longer be continually victimised by Neo-Nazi lunatics and they could well quickly become thriving social and economic models that the remainder of the western Ukraine provinces would wish to aspire to… very quickly!
This could quickly escalate into most of the West of the Dnipro becoming autonomous Repulic protectorates. Then logically in turn surely this may just provide a model for the vast East of Ukraine to then contemplate.
In short Mr Putin’s plan is good for both Russia and Ukraine, good for Eurasia, good for Western Europe and an absolute godsend to the stability of the globe both militarily and economically.
And for Mr Global… well actually, not so much. Indeed this situation is a dire and immediate threat to this murderous global scourge’s ongoing survival.
Onwards and upwards

New Zealand has enough trouble with that maniac EU / Soros installed PM you have who like other should be removed. Hopefully an uprising there is in progress.
People round the world who support Russia on this can stop buying EU goods and services in protest.
Hello Col. Not bad.
Zel is not going under the bus, willingly. You can see it in his eyes. He is not trying to BS the Russians. He plans on surviving this. If I had to pick some names that will go down heard, maybe within the next few weeks, it will be from the east side of the pond; Misters B. and S.. Ursula is clueless and she is at her limit so, nothing there to pound. Pffffft, they all think they are so damn ganster too.
It may sound a bit mysterious but, not really. Just keep following the ball. It is going to bounce very hard.
My best to you.
Your characterisation of ‘Mr Global’ is an accurate and effective one for presenting this whole issue to many people who should by default know better, but who are revealing themselves as being terribly vulnerable to mind capture.
The Mr Global movie, and its core premises, provide excellent frame of reference to put to those who say they ‘get’ and oppose the constructs described in that doco, but who evidently don’t really ‘get’ or oppose them at all given their dimwitted rush to climb on board the ‘Stand with Ukraine’ bandwagon.
The rage, and the spectrum of ‘discussion’ on this whole affair is so broad that very precise entries have to be made into any discussion of the matter with almost anyone. Western media have made the ‘relevant’ issues so manifold and miasmic that even pro-Russian people can argue over sub-elements of what’s happening and why. Precise, fundamentally meaningful entry points have to be made into any interaction on this mess to enable the chance of any useful conversation. Just trying to discuss it constructively has itself become a strategic military manoeuvre. The conversation has to begin within a functional frame of reference.
Thanks for identifying this specific reference as a point of entry. It’s a very functional one that was hiding in plain sight.
It’s now turned into the brics against the Western standards and globalism. A pressure fails they all fail. I agree with everything you said.
Thank you Col, farmer from NZ! Your stellar post gives me so much hope for the future of our planet. Long live The Saker blog!
Good list Col!
Can I add one and that is to push NATO back to its borders that was agreed to – remember, not an inch to the east.
Otherwise, make NATO just go away but that is not stated.
Great addition to the list A-team!
Methinks this whole sorry arsed debacle in Ukraine will be such an eye-opener that it will herald the beginning of the end for both NATO and the EU.
By the time this all plays out, both organizations will have proven themselves to be both completely irrelevant, and a farcically dangerous existential threat to much of the Northern Hemisphere.
I think we are seeing real signs of the imminent demise of Mr Global, the inevitable dismemberment of the global private banking cartel that funded the global terror campaign of this kleptocracy, and a comprehensive financial reset into a new economic reality. The viscious Western Hegemon is a dead man walking… we are about to witness the most significant renaissance of humanity in 2000 years.
What an absolute privilege to be able to witness the coming transition and to be a party to the creation of a completely new reality. Now is the time to put aside the tragedy, switch off the light, walk out of the old world and not look back. The old world is broken … we want no part of it any longer.
Cheers and warm regards
Col
Zone A is erecting an iron curtain around itself.
The UN will likely be closed or at least be chucked out of New York by the end of the year.
India is the big prize for the moment. It could go to Zone A but the incompetence displayed by the Empire suggests otherwise.
I don’t quite get how the intellectual property “confiscation” works. Would be good if someone elaborated further.
This is starting to unravel at a frighteningly rapid pace.
I don’t quite get how the intellectual property “confiscation” works.
What follows is a digression on patents, how they work, and how they play into empires.
Patents are how Intellectual Property, or IP, are protected, so the patent owner can get paid for use of their IP.
Cynically, inventors have long been aware that a patent is nothing more than a license to sue. But it all depends on the relative power of the defendant vs. plaintiff.
A very revealing example was Microsoft vs. DoubleStack, circa 1991. Microsoft installed DoubleStack software, into DOS6.0 (IIRC). Well,,, Microsoft “forgot” to purchase the IP. DoubleStack had a solid legal case. But Microsoft has armies of lawyers. So DoubleStack settled for $0.10 on the dollar, and went out of business. This one case shows two big things. 1. The US “Department Of Justice” no longer enforced ordinary laws. 2. The US government was already protecting monopolies, as the way for the Empire Of Lies to stay “competitive.” Microsoft probably got DOJ protection because it installs “back doors” in its software for use the CIA, NSA and FBI. I’m digressing, but that was huge news in hindsight – and not well known now, and still very eye-opening.
Back to IP and patents. A nation can decide as a matter of national security, to not recognize patents because the patent owner is in a hostile nation, or because the standards of what is patentable varies between nations. Inventions can be too obvious to deserve a patent, or the evidence for prior art can be determined differently by different courts. So if Russia was cornered, it could declare certain patents invalid, or maybe require that Russians using the patent must put a few kopecks into a jar, in case the patent is later considered enforceable.
Last example I’ll give here, shows the big picture of how patents meshed with the British empire. By the 1890’s the British had a monopoly on international (undersea) cables for telegraph. For example, the 1898 Battle Of Manila Bay (US vs. Spain) was fought after the war ended because neither admiral wanted to pay for the expensive telegram waiting for them in Hong Kong. Lots of sailors died, but London didn’t care. They say the British never sleep; they were the first to realize wireless was a challenge to their cable monopoly. In 1897, Professor Lodge got British Patent 11575 (GB189711575) that enabled wireless equipment to have many channels – instead of just one. It revolutionized radio. But the British had bigger plans, and connived for Marconi to re-patent Lodge’s prior art and a court awarded him the famous 77777 patent in 1901, and in a few years he amassed many wireless patents – even though in truth, he only invented one thing, the Marconi antenna. I must note that Wikipedia is unreliable about Marconi, so you must read technical and trade journals of that early era. The British made a quasi-monopoly on wireless technology, to protect their cable monopoly. When WW1 broke out, as a price of the US entering the war, the British had to agree to allow the US Navy to use all the British wireless patents. After the war, the US failed to return the British patents, and signed them over to RCA, a new government-organized monopoly, owned by a consortium.
So if Russia were to ignore patents they were sanctioned against using, there is not much the West could do about it. Certainly the West would have a hard time using history and “case law” for attack arguments.
And to the extent that the Empire sanctions China, the patent scenario would be even more of a problem.
Lots of things can be re-invented, either honestly or de facto. Patent enforcement can become a quagmire.
So if Russia were to ignore patents they were sanctioned against using, there is not much the West could do about it. Certainly the West would have a hard time using history and “case law” for attack arguments.
The US is a financial and service economy, of which intellectual property forms an important part.
What about, for example, Russia developing clone iPhones – with backdoors and restrictions removed and with strong encryption – and contracting mass production in China, then sale in all non-empire countries at very low prices.
(Of course, small countries would be more susceptible to US sticks, but if it was on a sufficient scale maybe there was little the US could do).
russia can easily fight back by ignoring all patents from enemies’ country.
So instead of innovation and research Russia should just steal technology? Sounds just like good old Soviet Union.
Oh boy, I have to say – you do not know how the world works.
Russia may stop paying for technology that they already paid for – for whatever they manufacture ‘under license’. There is one chip for example, that Russia designed, and it is manufactured ‘under license’ in Taiwan, who have major chip fabrication plants. Russia may just take the license away – is one method.
And there are many others. But let me ask, what should Russia do with what is being stolen at this moment?
If they are threatening India then ………………. it is all over but the screaming. Good bye Quad. Threats roll when nothing else is working.
Don’t be too sure.
A major part of the Indian elite are diehard Anglophiles.
I am also thinking of something Lavrov said a day or so ago, something like: We view sanctions as the price of Freedom. This is really sticking in my mind and really applies to ALL those to some degree trapped financially by the US. And I am wondering how many countries are going through the thought process of how much further is this going to progress? Especially if countries are also somewhat relying on Russian goods, services and more. Anyway, I hope India realizes that giving in to USA will not be in it’s best interest and quickly decouple as efficiently as possible, from USA.
What Lavrov said is also sticking in my mind as something that applies to me and maybe all of us, are we willing to be enslaved? Are we willing to suffer/put up with hardship in order to achieve some kind of freedom? I too feel like putting my foot down and saying “enough, no further!!!”
The sanctioning of Russia’s central bank is a whole new level of, frankly, reckless criminality by whoever it actually is driving this ever upward sanctions spiral. They did it to the Afghanistan central bank last year which was the first shock, but the RCB move seems like total overreach. I would imagine there are a lot of countries around the world right now who are very nervous about leaving their financial assets in institutions which can effectively steal them at any time in the name of ‘sanctions’ on any contrived pretext.
Trudeau almost collapsed the Candian banking system by his flagrantly unlawful measures (why would any Canadian leave their money in a place which was clearly unsafe and untrustworthy?) before quickly backtracking. Does Serbia have any deposits in western banks? Egypt? Indonesia?
It does seem that the western cabal has dropped the pretence and is now acting in a flagrantly overt criminal manner. Perhaps they feel they have such a psychological lock-grip on their populations there’s no need to pretend any more.
It is clear now that USA will try to break BRICS. They can’t go after Russia and China, so they will try to start with India, Pakistan and Brasil to force them into submission. We will see if it’s even possible.
On the side note. It is pretty depressing to be a part of EU-ZOO. :( I am in country ruled by bunch of thieves and lunatics. Future isn’t in the bright colours.
Pakistan part of BRICS? See a P somewhere?
Pakistan is not part of Brics. I have never said that. But it will be prime target for harassment due to its support for Russia.
I can understand fully, the depressing feeling of being surrounded by lunatics. I see each day, more people are speaking out, pushing back against false narratives.
The only dissenter in the BRICS team is Brazil.
It should be renamed to VRICS, in favour for Maduros support.
BTW, China’s netizens continue to show strong support and sympathy for Putin as a kind and loving leader. Another hero on China’s social media is Kadyrov and his troops. The Chinese are enthusiastic about Kadyrov’s Prada combat boots.
If costs of production rise too high in the West, producers elsewhere on good terms with Russia and able to use Russian and Chinese payment systems will gain a significant edge in global markets. Germany in particular may be forced to the margin or pushed out altogether from markets in which it has been a major player for decades. Unemployment may then rise to levels dangerous for Western governments, perhaps causing serious unrest. Indeed, three years from now Germany and other major Western export states may find themselves irreparably damaged, paying a far greater economic cost than the cost they thought they would be forcing the Russians to pay.
I think this is exactly what is going to happen, especially when you add in the fact that most western economies run on mountains of debt (a.k.a. pyramid schemes) and were highly unstable before the great recession and covid. The US especially, where a fake economy is supported by direct payments to monopolistic corporations while citizens face austerity.
I’m pretty sure that this was part of Russia’s stratgey, which has obviously been very carefully considered. The Russians are playing chess, the west is playing with itself.
“If” costs of production run too high?
Here in Italy most small and medium sized businesses are 2 to 3 gas and electricity bills away from bankruptcy.
During WWII, in the face of the rapidly advancing German armies, Russia dismantled its industrial base, put it on railroad cars [1 million carloads], transported it eastward out of the range of German bombers, reassembled the factories and began producing war materials. Does anyone think that Russia would be severely impacted by sanctions? I think not! Sanctions are child’s play in comparison to what the Russians did during WWII.
“And then one can only chuckle and say, Russia singlehandedly shut down the green agenda.”
I would say, Russia singlehandedly finished with the cov19 pandemic too
Thanks for mentioning the Putin-Xi Manifesto. I quickly pointed that out soon after the Joint Declaration was made. Unfortunately, despite there being an organization in Defense of the UN Charter founded by Russia and China, I agree with you that there’s a very strong possibility the organization will go bust thanks to the actions of the Outlaw US Empire and its NATO vassals as too many of its organizations are now politicized meaning they are prevented from doing their jobs.
And thanks for the write-up; I found it informative!!
I agree, the UN has been misused and served as a fig leaf for so long, but recently US actions are beyond the pale.
China has spoken on this issue: https://www.rt.com/news/551124-china-concerned-un-diplomats/
It appears a bifurcation is coming soon, along with all other fora of interaction.
Wouldn’t it be a Judo move to let India host the new headquarters of a separate UN, thereby getting it to fully commit to multi polar world?
Sri Lanka or Malaysia as the new United Nations headquarters would seem good choices.
@
Exactly. India wouldn’t be a good choice because if its anti-chinese sentiments. Sri Lanka qualifies better than India because the govt there stands on a middle ground. They tend to balance Indian and Chinese interests in their country.
Caro Andrei

Dear Andrei
I grew up listening to Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninnof, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin and even the choirs of the Red Army, and I will hear them until I have no ears.
I was concerned with the existential problems of Pierre Besukov, in Leo Tolstoy’s immortal War and Peace.
I have read and reread, and I will read and reread what I can of the greatest literary genius in history, the name of Dostoyevsky.
I listen and listen again, read and reread these and many others, which form part of the center and heart of European civilization.
I am proud that my little country was one of those who, together with Russia, fought against Napoleon’s Empire.
I was moved, and I will always be moved by the enormous and epic battle of a martyr and generous people, against the National Socialist beast, in 1941/45.
This is to say: Russia is and will always be an integral part of European civilization, however much the Anglos (who are strictly speaking not Europeans) and others do not like it.
When Russia at this historic moment moves away from the rest of Europe and leaves, it is not moving away from European civilization. What is happening is that European civilization – which now only resides in Russia – is moving away from the empty and dead shell of what was the western part of that civilization.
I am confident that he will be able to transmit to the rest of the world the best part of this civilization that, unfortunately, the Anglos did not know how to, or did not want to, transmit.
So I greet you and wish you a great journey into the future.
Li seu relato do Brasil. Abraços.

I think this remark needs attention as it could be huge. I have never read anything from China so blunt and threatening. Is it possible that with the West being wounded by sanctions backfire, they see their moment?
This same Wang Wenbin announced in mid December, the same time of the Russian security guarantee requests that the people who were responsible for the destruction of Afghanistan,Iraq, and other sovereign nations would be brought to justice.
It was linked here.
That was equally serious, perhaps overlooked in the noise about Russia.
The Azov battalion was involved in the hong kong color revolution, and ukraine signed up to the us bill in UN condemning China over xinjiang. Both were explicit intrusions in Chinese sovereignty. So Chinese principle on sovereignty can be easily put aside In the case of ukraine. What’s good for peter is good for paul. But still, I doubt China will recognize the independence of donbass as it still has not recognized kosovo either. But this doesn’t mean that it will not support Russia in other areas.
Your last sentence used an Interesting term – “Human Multi-polarity.’ IMO there are 5 types of “Human polarity.”
These 5 types are based on geography and heritage/culture. They are the African, the European, the Asian, the Islamic-Arab and the American citizen(south and north continents.) You can also group citizens as New World and Classical World citizens where, like the North and South pole, both exist on the same planet. What we see today is result of the new world, one pole, trying to change the Classical World into its image. A heavy task and one inexorably produces a counter-R-eaction.
German nazi Gehlen established the Ukiranian nazis and brought them and agents into…see eye eh…ever since that distinguished anstalt has spent major buckies to create civil war in Ukie and subvert Russia. Some may recall the principle stated by Forest Gump> nazi is as nazi does.
If Zone B designs to denazify, where, precisely, does the project finish?
As to insane…well this is natural and a classical motif> Well there’s Isaiah 5:20, but far older statements too.
We recall that those headed for destruction are mad. Dear Uncle Klaus and his pals are probably in panic, and probably on the double special secret probation list in a drawer in Stalin’s desk. Bigbigplan has roused Mr Bear. No doubt he’ll roam about and devour a few…er…meals…rousing bear is like time, one way function.
James Corbett suggests that BRICS is controlled opposition.
https://corbettreport.substack.com/p/the-ukraine-crisis-what-you-need?s=r
Aweeee! I have nothing against Corbett. But he is a good marketeer and chose his little cutout marketing segment from the bell curve very well. His schtick is those that are continually dissatisfied and those that believe ‘everyone is against us!’. That is his market segment. And of course with that market segment, one can always find something.
So now, on his piece there, which I only scanned, and the quote that you decided made sense to you, let’s just please understand that we’re going to have everybody and their brothers and their dogs all of a sudden understanding what is happening better than any one else, or the experts that we have here.
We’re into everyone is an expert time again.
Yeah, the BRICS of course is an oppositional force (if they are even functional). Don’t kneejerk because of the words, because these words are weaponized in the alt media. Wha Wha! controlled opposition! That is BAD! Also do not believe everything Corbett says for one moment. I have no time and no willingness to debunk that piece, and there is some debunking to be done, but heavens, are we going to listen to Corbett in terms of the issues in front of us?
I used to follow Corbett until 2014 (Maidan Putsch).I remember Corbett, at that time and during the Donbass conflict using the expression “Russian agression” many Times. I stopped following him.
FYI: Corbett is a Canadian, which is a major sponsor of the ultra-nationalists and even neo-Nazi groups in the Ukraine. Canadian Deputy Minister Chrystia Freeland is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of Canada’s criminal role in this sponsorship of fascism in Ukraine.
Why Canada Defends Ukrainian Fascism
https://libya360.wordpress.com/2018/03/09/why-canada-defends-ukrainian-fascism/
While Corbett likely does not supports these Ukrainian neo-Nazis, he does have a vested national interest as a Canadian in discrediting any opposition to the Anglo-Americans’ proxy war in Ukraine and beyond.
I have noticed that there are other Canadians, who have claimed to be antiwar or “alternative” media analysts, who have shown their true colors with the advent of the Ukraine war and resulting massive anti-Russian hysteria.
I believe Corbett might even qualify as a type of 6th Column, as Saker puts it, in terms of the English-language Alt. Media sphere.
Canadian media is on a path of self destruction. Legacy media destroyed its credibility in their portrayal of truckers as “Nazis” . Many have not tasted the kool aid this time around.
Our independent media is pushing back on the hypocrisy buts it’s an uphill battle.
Putin is Che Guevara to the Fascist underbelly of the Western world.
Che Guevara with clout!
So, it is quite OK for the West to impose crippling sanctions on Russia by weaponising its currency but it is not OK for Russia to use its commodities, Oil and Gas, as weapons in response. The West decides the punishment and Russia must simply accept whatever is dished out.
If i have understood today negations correct ?? The war is over. If the Kiev government agreed to human corridors its over. Just think about the message they send to the fighting forces. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
It will take some time but its done. Yata.
Hoop,
Yes absolutely correct. There are reports of so many people in E. Ukraine join Russian forces following the corridor agreement.
Betrayed by ther own past and current actions, the UN has lost its mandate. It no longer represents the true world community, only the “Rules Based Order”. New organizations need to be formed , all in Zone B, for the following (minimally):
* “New” UN, with “teeth” and *balance* with true human principles (i don’t mean greed, money and ego driven)
* IOC and WADA or simply get rid of “Olympic Games” – such a money waster.
* ICC
* Replacement for “World Bank” – BIS or BRI Zone B international bank (Sorry, i can’t remember if there is one or not)
* WHO
* WTO
* OSCE
* OPCW
* International Zone B countries’ scientific and engineering shared community with decisions on “peer review” made only in Zone B and sharing of data also in Zone B only. This also includes true science paradigms that don’t fit into the Zone A “rules Based Order” and monopolies on dogmatic “correct knowledge”. ie: expand from the narrow scope of US-dominated “enforcement” of “knowledge” into true Science.
* New international patents organization, with no credit given to any Zone A countries, until Zone A becomes humanized and de-Nazified
Correct me if i’m wrong or if i’ve missed anything. I know i’ve missed some things, but this is a start.
Also, the organizations i listed above (minimally) need to have a truly new ICC-like international system and hte first task on its agenda will be the arrest and public trials (televised, of course) of the heads of the above organizations for crimes against humanity. Punishment should absolutely include hte confiscation of ALL wealth, even hidden wealth.
Another:
*IAEA
And the International Criminal Court no longer in the Netherlands. This the most corrupt vassal state of the US and NWO that gets away with anything it undertakes against its people because it’s being run without a valid constitution since the end of WWII and the return of its queen from Canada.
A ultimate weapon, Russia could change it’s constitution to not honor western patents on anything.
China has been doing that in effect for years. US hates when they do that. No money to patent holders,
if they want a cut off ok deal with that.
All the Russia should… China should… Zone B should…
Such comments are meaningless unless you are in positions to influence policies.
And even if you are, much of the world’s population do not have sufficient brain capacity to think for themselves and to separate right from wrong. Consuming the narrative and going with the flow are all they know.
But you can make a difference. Start with something concrete and realistic. For example, delete your FB account. And many more.
Mussolini classically defined “fascism” as state/corporate partnership. In Hitler’s Germany, government gave the orders and business obeyed. In Western “democracies” private sector(s) generally set the policies (certainly their parameters) that government then enforces.–except for sanctions. If Americans really believe in “free” enterprise, why can’t business just do as it pleases? .Of course, business mainly thinks about the short term bottom line– e.g. outsourcing to China, or just in time delivery–rather than broader implications or long term consequences.
Even private sector(s) often get in on the act, adding sanctions of their own. So our whole society cuts off its nose to spite its face and we all end up worse off.
In Hitler’s Germany the orders came from the cartel of the gods, the bosses of the companies behind IG-Farben, Hoechst, BASF and Bayer. The MIC in the western world is still run by these giants. Hitler disappeared but his lawyer (his connection with IG-Farben), Walter Hallstein, remained and soon became the first president of what is now the European Union. The Fascists never went away and the Third Reich just moved west over the Atlantic.
Time for the western military forces to place in custody the leaders of their nations who are involved in this and other wicked things in the past 2 years and takeover. Then liaise with Putin on how sort out this entire mess.
Comments relating to this and the overall big picture on INFOWARS today – listen to the first 30 minutes.

I haven’t yet seen anyone addressing the possibility that EU will admit Ukraine before the war ends. Is this possible? What then might happen? I imagine it would throw a wrench into Russia’s plans for the post-war clean up?
That would be like tossing an anchor onboard a sinking ship.
That would be the equivalent of putting iron fillings in the engine oil.Would take a little longer than the wrench.
However the engine in question is the EU.
EU wont want to carry the war torn baby. Eu already poured cold water on the idea. It said it will only “consider” (a nicer way of saying No) after the war is over. By then, Ukr will be under Russ yoke.
I just found this (MSM):
“An overwhelming majority of European Parliament representatives voted for accepting Ukraine, with 637 in favor, 13 against, and 26 choosing to abstain. However, Ukraine’s application is not being fast-tracked. Countries are generally required to go through a number of steps in order to obtain membership, and the process can last years.”
So a gesture only, at this point. Good.
Need to take up bullhorns and broadcast Victoria Nuland’s “Fuck the EU.” I mean, really, this is exactly Victoria’s wish.
No reason to bandy words, the fact of the matter is the powers that be don’t hate Russians per se, they hate Orthodox Christians. Russia still harbors a large percentage of those of us that remain. That’s a giant bullseye for these ones. As it was in Serbia, Greece, Iraq, etc. et al.
TPTB care about control of resources. PERIOD.
“But Coca-Cola will continue to operate in Russia – — – ”
This should be the First USA Flagship thing ( I never drink) that Russia bans. Followed swiftly by any Oil , Rocket motors, Minerals etc.
The USSR was a Pepsi country anyway.
Post 1990, when Eastern Europe first opened up to western products, there was a mini-boom for the West, as East European consumers were extremely keen to try all western products. That enthusiasm of the consumers, lasted for only about 5 years. Meanwhile Western beverage companies brought in more investment…they helped destroy the market for the older, traditional products, as they thought they had captured the attention of East European consumers. But…real incomes fell as currencies started to inflate. A whole new structure was imposed. Previously they had a simple command economy. One manager was dictating how much would be produced and how it would be distributed. That kept prices low and anyway, prices were state regulated. When the Western beverage companies moved into the whole of Eastern Europe, they also brought in a whole array of support services – not just improving manufacturing processes, but also new jobs like staff for market research, marketing, advertising, promotion, distribution, logistics, packaging…that means, the process of introducing western capital and investing it in local firms, created a cost explosion…which was then passed on to consumers. So…whilst there had been this initial enthusiasm for any western products (I remember a producer telling me that he just had to place and american flag on the label and the product just flew off the shelves ) gradually the Eastern European consumers said “been there done that…it is all getting too expensive to buy these foreign brands…but hey…what happened to the traditional local brands?…where have they gone?…i want my old local product back…it was anyway more tasty than all this western stuff which is full of unhealthy ingredients ” – and sales started to crash of all Western products….it gave some local entrepreneurs the chance to buy up some of these now failing western operations but the damage was done…..a whole array of really tasty local produce disappeared in this way, replaced by western products that now had to have preservatives etc, added based on the new imposed EU Directives. Just one really tragic example: the Hungarians had the most exquisite peach, apricot, apple, juices. They were sold at a low cost and super healthy.and consumers could visit a Kombinat themselves with a jug each morning, to get fresh supplies. Once the Eastern European governments were seduced by the prospects of entering the EU…the EU ordered all the fruit orchards to be burnt “as they did not meet the standards of the EU” . I made a vigorous protest at the time, on behalf of the local producers (i pointed out that no-one in Eastern Europe had ever died from drinking these traditional juices) but that was the price for entering the EU – henceforth, the fruit was made from concentrate and water added…with a high percent of preservative etc. So you can see from the history, described here, that Eastern Europeans experienced their own local products in their youth…and now have had a taste of western products…. Well, thats what the western interests wanted:… a new large consumer market… The Eastern Europeans became a consumer society like western Europe…except that there was a deep seated resentment created by the processes that i described…What do you think they do now, as capitalist consumers? They are more aware of the politics driving the agenda…and they simply refuse to buy certain western products if there is some negativity involved…so many big brands had high hopes to gain vast profits in eastern Europe and poured in funds…and their operations crashed from lack of interest by consumers. Carlsberg for example, being a Danish company, was affected by the negativity surrounding the previous head of NATO, a Dane… So even if Coca Cola or Pepsi Cola stays in the market, it is a very tenuous hold…they will need to maintain a large advertising budget…but the more widely that any US brand is displayed, the more that ordinary Russians will say “From the USA? No thats toxic…no way am i buying that” The naive enthusiasm for all things western has largely passed, across Eastern Europe… Certainly this is very much evident in Hungary and Russia….so it is a purely symbolic gesture, if the Russian government bans such products. – The Consumers have anyway reduced their enthusiasm for these products, such that whole western factories have had to be mothballed.. The prospect for Russia to forcibly nationalise these now idle enterprises, then comes just at the right moment ;oD They can bring back their old traditional recipes…Payback for the damage done to the local culture by western “infiltation.”
The above link didn’t work. RT.com is silenced here in SW Alberta, Canada. @19:45.
This prompts me to say again: Russia, China, get us an Internet system up there! There are many believers over here!
I am in Calgary, Alberta Canada, and the link still works here. Who knows how long that will last though.
Nice to see Canadians speaking out.
RT not available in France anymore as of today …
The sanctions are only a last gasp, for I saw the Zionist USA collapsing from it’s own overreach years ago. The know that their military was only to keep raping the world, along with their greedy, parasitic corporations. But now they meet mother Russia and China, and their ” owners ” did not line up with them, whom they just submissively obeyed. Today, their owners came off the fence, after pressure and sided with them against Russia. I see a day when the west will collapse, along with their masters. To realize that they control all thought will surface soon, just like many times throughout history when they had to flee, and found refuge in Muslims lands. This time there will be no place to hide, no matter how much trillions they possess. P.s.battery dying.
Saker,
Indeed, even now, south front is passing of nationalist as “pro Kiev” forces rather than NAZiS.
The aware in the West are scared to death. They know their immoral regimes have a tenuous grip on their respective domestic control knobs. Their free money days are numbered, so their arrogance is telling them to double down and grab as much wealth as they can. They really believe the Russian people are as spiritually corrupt, intellectually dissipated and psychologically disoriented as their own subjects. Unfortunately, for the Ukrainian people, their leaders are as delusional as the West’s. Russia is not Iraq, nor a self-absorbed stock broker/banker reading Sun Tzu; and the USA is no longer These United States.
The west is hysterical.
This hysteria and many, many past occurrences of it, typically associated with all kinds of… dramatics, as we’ve been seeing lately.
Completely detached from reality, apparently.
…. yet hamming it up, like there’s no tomorrow.
this is a pattern.
one can estimate the infection of the social cancer, by how incoherent they are.
by this measure, Britain is on life support and should be moved to palliative.
this death of a nation/empire has occurred before, by exactly the same malady.
we can resist by pointing out, as gently, and non-hysterically as possible, the grotesque hypocrisies.
Wow, Lindsey Graham just called for the assassination of President Putin, live on Fox TV and then tweeted it out. The Americans have gone totally insane, virtue signaling for domestic political gain is rendering the US utterly incapable of diplomacy. Graham might be able to delete the tweet, but he’ll never be able to walk this comment back, he is torching the US’s ability to de-escalate with Russia.
Would love to air-drop Graham into Chechnya.
so the globo homo schlomo comes out on the main stage, along with Nancey Pelosey not being in control of her flesh-suit…
Spring has truly arrived…rejoice!
I fully understand Whimsy Lindsey’s frustration here. Decades of US bankrolling its most staunch, devout believers, to wit Ukronazis, and Putin is still not just around but increasingly bold and resolute as well.
Could Novichok possibly prove helpful here?
Guys, I started looking for information outside the western media recently. So I would like to ask: do you know Scott Ritter? Do you think what he writes is reliable?
Scott Ritter has been referred to I think even on this board as credible as far as I can remember. I don’t think he has his own site but he does write articles and has given interviews. Maybe just do google search on Scott Ritter and select “Youtube” and you can see. Also if you look on the comments below the video, you can see he has opened many people’s eyes
@Querco.
Scott Ritter is not only reliable but one of the very few really reliable experts in “the West”. Scott Ritter sacrificed his well paid job as Chief Weapons Inspector at the UN because of his truthfulness. Scott Ritter was the UN Weapons Inspector who said that Iraq had no Weapons of Mass destruction because he (Ritter) had done his job properly. Scott Ritter was immediately dismissed by the UN, and in the U$ the Bush Regime set up a police case against him.
Muito obrigado @A.Deplorable.
Thanks, my friend.
Germany is the big loser. The US is next in line, because they are a debtor nation. Russia should come out fine because they are a trade surplus nation. However, Russia lost also, though not as bad. And I’ll say up front, this crisis is due to the US/NATO backing their zio-buddies in Ukraine and getting rich off the skim.
But Russia “lost”. They are now all in with China, and that is not a geo-political advantageous position. My advice, for the little it is worth, is for Russia to strengthen ties with sane European countries like Hungary, and also Brazil. Maybe over time some non-interventionist GOP President gets in, and this can grow from there, but for now make friends with reasonable people. China is not Christian. Russia needs to hold on to it’s Christianity and strengthen ties with Christian Hungary and Christian Brazil.
That is both a racist and immature perspective of the Chinese. Though they are not Christian, the Chinese are good people. That is a very shameful viewpoint of a country and people who support Russia. If anything, I hope the bond between China and Russia grows stronger. Russia belongs to Eurasia not Europe.
Thank you for being the voice of reason.
I hate to be the one to break the news but which Western nation is espousing Christian values at the moment?
They never espoused Christian values on such a massive scale like they’re doing right now. Bar a few exceptions (Hungary, Greece), their badly tormented hearts are bleeding for the poor, suffering Ukrainian people.
Touching, yes — convincing, nah.
Further to senator Lindsey Graham’s recent call to assassinate Putin, I just noticed that this discussion at Council on Foreign Relations that was livestreamed this morning and it also brings up assassinating Putin (around the 43 min mark – note that CFR avoids using the A-word, although the tone about removing/eliminating him is crystal clear in it’s intention). No way that is a coincidence, Graham has spoken to the CFR numerous times and the Neo-Cons at the council must have been talking about this behind the scenes for sometime and now they are starting to tease the idea publicly. Graham is an idiot, but also a coward who never stuck his neck out on anything without the support of the backroom figures. They probably planted this idea in his head during their meetings and Graham embraced it full hog so he immediately spat it out the next time he was in front of the cameras.
My pal, Vlad, is not alone.
Far from what the moniker is: he is not a despot, not a dictator, not a ruler.
He is a servant to his People.
I suppose it could be worse. John McCain could still be alive!
Are you referring to Saint John II?
McCain was immediately canonized following his passage to hell by the PTB with all the elaborate pageantry of a state funeral, attended by all Neocons and POTUS war criminals. From the few minutes I could stand to watch, it was a disgusting celebration and veneration of a truly despicable villain, reflecting the character of all the eulogizers and worshippers in attendance.
I would suppose the numerous 3 letter agencies have been trying to assassinate VVP many times, over the years. Virtually since the moment it became clear he would not consent to dismantling Russia a la Yeltsin
Some day in future Russians will have tripple Z hero, but he will not consume coca cola, cuz ZZZ is a sane man, drinks only beer or water from mountain Beluga.

“Russia may be planning to confiscate western assets inside Russia and convert them to Russian assets to balance the theft. Intellectual property has major value.”
Interesting idea. I wonder what would happen to Microsoft if Russia decides that not only the Windows operating system but all MS products, including MS Office, were in the public domain and that anyone could do what ever he wanted with them.
I doubt we’d be able to get Windows free but just imagine professional hacking companies having a go at MS Office, which is used in almost every business, large and not-so-large.
Dear Mr. Faure,
“Welcome to the first skirmish in the move to human multi-polarity.“
Thank you for the brilliant observations all!

6 stars summary (found on a moa post):
MM observations and thoughts about the war in the Ukraine.
#1 The United States launched it’s long awaited World War III.
Everyone knew that this was coming in one form or the other. Whether it is via the Fourth Turning, or the Deagal Report, or any Prepper websites, it happened to schedule and on time. No surprises there.
And it was birthed directly by United States and NATO action. Make no mistake there, either.
For a roll of the die, it could have been China. In any event, it pushed Russia into a corner using the “Cuba Missile Crisis” technique, and Russia had to respond.
The United States is following the road map written decades ago and will not accept peer competitors from Asia.
#2 The propaganda is that it’s all Russia’s fault.
Of course. That’s the standard American “play book”. You omit any semblance of the truth, and then propagate the lie-based narrative. All the shrills and ‘bots are fully mobilized.
#3 The conflict between the West and Asia will continue until one side or the other is totally defeated.
This is an all-or-nothing, winner-take-all, situation.
Certainly, the neocons in Washington, DC anticipate a long-drawn-out war of attrition; a quagmire in Ukraine, and a leashing of the EU, my personal opinion says otherwise. Once Russia suppressed the Ukraine threat, the USA will push for another military action. They will not allow things to subside.
#4 Nuclear Detonations are likely.
Both sides are armed with nuclear weapons, and it is just a matter of time before somebody decides to use them. However, the Asian leadership has gamed everything here. Nothing is unexpected.
Remember, both America and Europe are undefended. While both China and Russia ahve ABM technology that can shoot down any ICBM, SLBM, and cruise missiles sent to them.
#5 The stakes are well understood and public.
As he launched the invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin warned other countries that he could use nuclear weapons against them if they attempted to intervene. Which is why you are not seeing any direct military movement from NATO or nearby nations right now…

I got a better idea:
I sense a launch, I nuke tel aviv and jerusem 3 times over. Each.
I do not care about the States at all.
Mind you: it happened just yesterday or the day before. One of these alphabet agencies delayed a test-launch on account of being prudent…I’ve read…
Hi mothertrucker,
looks like you’re a good chess (not checkers) player. And you are absolutely right. Tel aviv is the very foundation of this dollar thing.
The Zionist bosses do not reside in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem but in their lush mansions in England, France and Switzerland.
They told us to wear masks, so that we could be smothered in hate for China. We take them off, and now they are diverting all our frustration on Russia.
Frankly, one should look forward to seeing Iran/China/ Russia announce the Persian Gulf oil shipping sanctions on lqbtq follower nations (the West) and watch how the globalists spin around own axis like whirling dervishes. And also this is the time Syria takes back the Golan Heights.
Is it true that half of Russian reserves we in the west?
Like half of gold and half of currency? I ask because Russian sources on Telegram were discussing the possibility a couple of days ago, about the time when France hijacked the Russian vessel. The discussion was along the lines of commenting on Euro sources, and saying that if so then the Russian government was naïve.
I doubt it, but is there any reliable info whether the west stole Russia’s reserves?
They steal everything they can get hold of
In Poland they already steal Russian owned buildings
What these retards don’t understand is that they will get a heafty bill in the future
Russia untill now is extremely calm but that won’t last forever
My wild guess is that in Europe the lights will go out in the next winter season unless they come to their senses
Broomsticks? We heard that before (trampoline). Today we can see that “trampoline is working”. It really does. West should not be underestimated.
“described by Putin and Xi Jinping, in their political manifesto”: what manifesto is this referring to? Anyone have a link?
This was a very big issue.
http://thesaker.is/joint-statement-of-the-russian-federation-and-the-peoples-republic-of-china-on-the-international-relations-entering-a-new-era-and-the-global-sustainable-development/
I have a question about bypassing the SWIFT cutoff via China. Surely it must be possible if one wanted to transfer funds from the West to Russia, or vice versa, to send money to one of the Chinese banks that has both systems, and then they transfer it to Russia (for a fee of course).
Surely that is either already being done, or can be implemented?
Yes it’s being done extensively. China has its own money messaging system, Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS), and so has Russia – System for Transfer of Financial Messages (SPFS).
I have to laugh when I hear some action is illegal under International law, that is so quaint, don’t they know it is now the US formulated ‘Rules based order’. This is when the US unilaterally take an action outside the UNSC and usually with a coalition of the willing i.e. Iraq. But both are not right, for instance the US and whoever they support, be it Saudi Arabia or Israel are above international law for all time. If the US take action which is blatantly in breach of international law and is opposed by all other members of the Security council, and another veto wielding member puts forward a resolution condemning that action, that resolution will stopped by the US veto and then put down the memory hole.
I would love to see those captured Javelines and other assorted captured weaponry being used by the houthis or Hezbollah, Russia could really give some military assistance with little cost, show the empires and their lackeys how their decisions to arm Russias enemies will always end up slapping them in their faces.
I think everyone has heard of Pushkin’s poem “The Little Golden Fish”. Let me recall it briefly.
An old fisherman brings in his net a golden fish who offers to give him everything he wants if he lets him go. The fisherman replies, “God be with you, little golden fish! I have no need of your ransom. Go back to the blue sea, in it walk freely.”
He returned home and told this miracle to his wife who became angry: “You fool, you great fool who does not know how to ransom the golden fish! At least you should have asked him for a trough, ours is so broken.
The fisherman returns to the fish and asks for the trough, and the same scene is repeated several times. After the trough, the woman asks for an isba, then wants to become a noble lady, then a tsarina. Each time the fish accepts and fulfills the woman’s wish. But the sea has stopped being blue. This time the woman wants to become the ruler of the sea and the little fish to serve her and do her errands. “Here is the old man who goes to the edge of the blue sea. He sees a black storm playing on the blue sea. The waves came and went in anger and howled. Loudly he calls the little golden fish, which swims towards him and asks:
– What do you want from me, good old man?
With a deep bow; the old man then answered:
– Have mercy on me, my lord the fish! What can I do with my cursed old woman? Who doesn’t want to be a tzarina, but a ruler of the sea, to live in the ocean sea. She wants you to serve her and do her errands.
The little fish, without answering, strikes the water with his tail and sinks into the depths of the sea. The old man stayed on the shore for a long time; he waited for an answer, and, not receiving one, the old man returned to the old woman. But before him what does he see? His cottage, and on the threshold, the old woman sitting, and before her a broken trough.
Here Pushkin described the greatest difference between Russian and Western psychology. A Western fish would never have accepted all these demands. He would have broken off the dialogue long before. But he would probably have left things as they are, or more or less. One can imagine that he would have at least stopped to let the woman live in an isba. No, the Russian fish, when it has lost its patience, goes to the end of its logic and goes back far, far back.
I completely agree with The Saker and Andre Martianov that we are not witnessing a Russian-Ukrainian war. It is a war on a completely different level. Putin was able to start it without risking WWIII because he has the superiority in supersonic weapons and everyone knows it.
The Russian “fish” has always been attacked by the West and by the East too. Let’s not forget the Mongols and the Golden Horde. Nor the Teutonic Knights, the Baltic, the Poles, Napoleon, the English and French in the Crimea, Hitler and the last cold war. The current popularity of Putin is 71%. This means that the patience of Russians is exhausted and they understand that the solution is the one advocated by the boyars who refused to let their beards be cut.
“Many of us are despairing as Russian news and Russian information is being sanctioned and suppressed in the free west.” Be careful in your statement phrasing. Some of us might believe you literally and miss your humor…
Nuclear incident viewed from a friend of mine in Portugal:
Google translation:
The Russian army was accused of bombing the Zaporozhye nuclear reactor.
Ukraine’s leaders later said that the fire that broke out at the Zaporozhye nuclear reactor training center (NPP) building had been contained, the Ukrainian state emergency service said.
But the lie was already circulating around the world. Here next to me, Antena Um makes a program asking listeners if they think a nuclear war is likely…
TASS reports today that a fire in the training building (60×40 m) at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in the city of Energodar was contained in the 2,000 m² area at 5:55 am, the Ukrainian state emergency services said.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation retorted “Last night, in the territory adjacent to the facilities, the nationalist regime in Kiev tried to implement a monstrous provocation. On March 4, at around 2 am, while patrolling a protected area adjacent to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear facility, a mobile patrol of the Russian Guard was attacked by a Ukrainian sabotage group,” he said.
The Major General observed that heavy small arms fire was opened against the Russian Guard military from the multi-story windows of the training complex located outside the reactor building. According to a ministry spokesman, this was done to provoke return fire into the building by the Russian mobile brigade.
He noted that the Ukrainian saboteurs’ firing points in the training complex building were suppressed by return fire from the Russian patrol. Leaving the building, the Ukrainian sabotage group set fire to the training building, Konashenkov said.
The fact that a fire broke out on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Ukraine was reported on the evening of Friday, March 4. Andrey Tuz, a spokesman for the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, said there was no threat of radiation spread. The fire was later put out (International Atomic Energy Agency)
So much handwringing On these pages over Chinese support in this war. Besides what the Chinese government states publicly, you can check out the interesting news about Russian chocolate flying off the shelves in China. Russian vodka has been emptied As well. This shows massive Support at the grassroots level.
“This shows massive Support at the grassroots level.”
This shows that at the grassroots level pressure for armed uprising against western hegemony is at the critical point. Expect that many of oppressed nations follow Russian example, and start to expel western stooges from their countries by brute force, not pointless discussions. I do not see how West can cope with it. Banning dead Russians, cats and Paralympics?? How low can you go?
To paraphrase famous politically incorrect meme, old as internet itself : Waging propaganda war is like running in the Special Olympic…
New anti-colonial tsunami is coming. Bigger than the last one. Ukraine is earthquake that started it.
The US imports heavy crude oil from Russia, to fuel certain refineries built for the purpose. Is this oil sanctioned, no, Biden is afraid that to ban it would increase prices and increase inflation. What a hypocrite he can stand next to the German Chancellor and brag about the US stopping NS2 which German industry needs and German citizens need to heat their homes with not a peep out of the vassal standing next to him. The Germans have no self respect. The Russians should refuse to sell this oil to the US, Blend it with a lighter crude and sell it to China as they should with NS2 gas.
At least now, all Russians are waking up to the fact that westerners always had them in contempt. The drug has worn off. So now, they can move on.
Lindsey Graham advocates the murder of Putin. Isn’t there a law in the US against such terrorism, the Russian Embassy need to prosecute this scumbag.

Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military? The only way this ends is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out. You would be doing your country – and the world – a great service
Canadian CP24/CBC/CNN news on TV reported last night
“Fire at power plant in Zaporozhe, while Russians are bombing it”,
“Ukrainian officials request that firefighters be allowed to fight the fire”,
“Danger of radiation contamination might affect entire Europe”.
This morning:
“Fire at power plant in Zaporozhe has been extinguished” (By whom?)
“Russian forces took control of power plant in Zaporozhe” (Now we knw by whom…)
“Russian forces attacking and bombing the power plant in Zaporozhe” (Didn’t they just took control of it? Or stupid Russkies are firing on themselves?)
“No evidence of increased radiation level over Ukraine or Europe” 9Good, eh?)
At the same time already expensive gasoline jumped from 1.50 to 2.00 dollars per liter. At the same time Canadian economy is doing well. The fly in the ointment is increased and increasing inflation. Chrystia Freeland, deputy PM (Ukrainian), openly says that Canadians will suffer due to sanctions applied to Russia. PM JT says that we have to put up with that, for high morality reasons.
In the last 6 days, danger of Covid decreased so quickly, everything is being lifted, provincial governments are racing who will drop restrictions faster. See, Putin found the best medicine for Covid, it appears.
Then they show an old lady on demonstrations in Moscow (?) with two and made placards against nuclear weapons. Police did take her away, with no brutality, no pushing or shoving, no throwing her on the ground, no cuffing. Quite contrast to police handling (manhandling) 76 eight years old man for appearing at the protest site with pushing, shoving him on the ground, cuffing then taking him away. I am not commenting on horses and they impact on demonstrators Ottawa. It was all on the web anyways, two horses in the frame, a woman under it, and another one staring at a bicycle on the ground in front of it. The news told us, in hysterical tone “violent demonstrators threw a bicycle in front of a police horse”.
How stupid people can be to believe their shit? We don’t actually know what is that people believe, it does not matter, the show of lies must go on…..
Disgusting.
As events are unfolding it looks like armagedon, in the sense that all that is hidden comes to light.
A better name for Natostan might be Nazistan.
Is there any news of progress on the ground?
I have heard som worrysome rumours (Yes rumours) about Russians leaving their equipments and deserting. Is ther anything in these rumours
Or is everything going forward on a steady course
There is a lot of news and we will probably get an analysis on this day.
But, you know, Putin has gone insane, and the Russians don’t know what they are doing, and they are fleeing the battlefield and so on and so forth. So, take those rumors with a grain of salt.
Let me give you something from Kadyrov.
According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine 40% of the uki territory is under the control of Polite and Caring Russians. The Ukies lost communications and are now corresponding via mail pigeons.
i love the “Z” on the Car. Think i do something similar on my Bicycle. ^^
Now would be a good time for China to hit Uncle $hmuel in Taiwan so he will spread his
forces even thinner, and hopefully be stamped out for good.
China will have taken back Taiwan during this very year. And, as soon as that has been achieved, there will be an instant recognition from Beijing of Crimea as a Russian province. Lots of hilarious noises from ”concerned quarters”, lol.
No nation today can be an island unto its own, its just can’t! We are too interconnected with each other. We need and depend upon each other for too, far too many things. This though results in what? Conflict! Kingdoms and nations in conflict with each other. And is there an answer to this increasing mess? I’d say and argue with this sentence:
“Beware of turning to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction.” Job 36:21
Sums up history doesn’t it?
If we don’t get what we want by asking we always turn to war with both sides thinking they are right when in fact neither are ultimately.
You know Elihu misjudged Job right? And he got punished for it. Job was in the right by saying that he was being attacked without provocation, in the same way Russia has been, and also has been very patient much like Job
Never fall for the likes of Elihu, you must always uphold the truth even if it is unpopular and makes you look among misguided men like Elihu that you are in the wrong.
Also do not quote out of context is makes you look like a troll
@ Not the Saker
I’m sorry but where do you find Elihu being rebuked by God or even punished?
“After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has. So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.” So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.” (Job 42:7–9)
He was a mere youth inspired by God to speak.
As for Job he lived to fulfill these words from St. John:
“that the trial of your faith (being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tested with fire) might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ,”
“Then Job answered the Lord: “I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. I spoke once, but I have no answer—twice, but I will say no more.” (Job 40:3–5)
“I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. You asked, “Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?” Surely, I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
You said, “Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.” My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore, I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42:1–6)
I think Monier Rahall got it right “perhaps suffering is a necessary part of redemption.”
as for taking quotes out of context how would you apply the words from Romans 12:19?
Politics? What politicians and politics is what I referenced elsewhere on this great blog:
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
there is only one way to truly discern the thoughts and motives of all political leaders !!! How do they treat Christ and His Church. Thats what i love about the faith one learns very quickly whose one enemies are if that is one knows the word of God and how to apply it.
Perhaps check out that red circle surrounding a bust of a certain someone here:

In the above clip “Putin meets Russian airlines’ flight crew members.” Wide range of pertinent issues queried by the latter group candidly explained. A leader in control – they are on course to achieve their objectives in Ukraine, no shadow of a doubt. He cautions countries from wading into Ukraine against Russia,. They would not be spared regardless of alliance.
Reassuring not all cards are on the table. No conscripts sent out, force numbers are sufficient w/only professional fighters and volunteers. Pension mentioned. Family provisions/ welfare also. Restructuring/ devt of airline industry, w/own production of better planes.
