This more than two states, both Super Powers, allying for some common goals.
This is about coordinating to stabilize the global relations among many nations, while off-setting and balancing the psychopathic West against their two civilizations and values and bringing along two other great civilizations, India and Iran.
This is the security of Eurasia and the growth of third world countries which will begin real development, economic potential and a future without a hegemon to obey.
“More than allies” means they are working in sectors of human activity far beyond security and military issues.
They are bringing food to the hungry, energy to the barren, education to the deprived, science and medicine and plethora of technologies to the impoverished. They will assist others in their dreams of development and progress.
So, Russia and China have enmeshed their strengths in all these efforts while presenting a unified diplomacy to assuage the ideologues of the West who despise them and the Eurasian agenda of BRI and EAEU.
Thus, ‘way more than allies’. As I pointed to seven years ago in “China-Russia: Double Helix”.

Good grief, it’s been seven years. Hello Larchmonter, good to talk with you.
Anyway – yes, they are more than allies. They are in what they regard, I would suggest, as a civilizational contest (I can’t call it a war).
And so they are in a meeting of their civilizational minds, and they are developing postures and positions on a civilizational scale as they turn to the world at large. And it seems from their emerging confidence about their relationship, that they find many areas of agreement – perhaps even vast areas of agreement.
This exercise will be so wonderfully valuable to the world – to the world civilization, we can say – in terms of illustrating the things that matter.
If we in the west wish to remain sane, then we are all “conservatives” now – this is the only “progressive” posture possible under the crashing waves of decadence that assail us now. And Russia and China powerfully are reminding us of values that matter.
I, personally, simply bless them for this assistance, a true staff of strength in a wicked world.

I have long said that China will “win” the “war” by the Demonstration Effect, rather than by any attempt to challenge the west in the same polluted terms with which the west makes its declarations and claims. It’s a Taoist thing happening, and Newtonian or kinetic models of challenge and response are simply not applicable here.
I’ve always liked (and only marginally quibbled with) Saker’s percentages of the current conflict between East and West, as being something like 5% substantial and 95% informational.
Perhaps if he reads this, dear Saker will rethink or reword this to eliminate all of those criteria and simply call it in the Taoist terms, in which, “The Way never hurries, yet nothing is left undone.”
And so, China is winning.
I am often anxious because I live in the US, but I am so happy that the wisdom of Asia is coming to predominate in the world again.

Glad you always hold the Truth up to us. It calms and reassures.
There is a great lesson in what Xi and Putin are doing. They share thousands of miles of border and have no need to post border guard, military and barriers to protect their countries. In fact, they build new bridges, rail and electrical and fiber “roads and belts” to connect more efficiently.
The more pressures from the Hegemon, the more creativity from China and Russia.
These are very interesting times.
Their peaceful, productive cooperation are what scare Washington the most.
And the world should be thanking them for this effective and positive cooperative collaboration! The collective west could learn quite a lot from this arrangement!
I pray everyday thanking God for Russia, President Putin, and the Orthodox Church. God bless them for standing up for righteousness.
I’m an American, Christian. Uneducated and just an average white middle aged man. To a point I care about my country, but I realize my county is not what I thought it to be.
Just want to say over the past years have come to understand how much a certain group of people have influenced and worked to negatively effect western culture. Jewish people. Jewish origin. And I’m in no way racist. In fact I consider myself and other Christians as being the true jewish people, “in spirit,” as the Holy Apostle Paul says and we are the chosen ones of God. We are the new covenant.
Anyone with common sense can look at the facts and see jewish people control all or nearly everything. And if you look enough you see they are on all sides of every issue controlling it.
They are a threat to humanity. Tbey are guilty of crimes against humanity. They still lie and murder just as tbey did in the days of Christ.
And sadly so many do not see it. Are so blinded they I guess can not see it. So many of my friends and family say “but we must continue to bless isreal so God continues to protect and bless America.” It actually makes me want to puke. How are we blessed??? Fellow so called Christians are the worst. They always come back with but God says to love everyone and youre judging. I read it differnt. God no where says lay down and be raped. I’m a firm believer its righteous if an enemy stricks you to strick back in the throat knocking to the ground and then kick them. Yes of course then help them up and hope they learned their lesson. That is loving your enemy. Stand up and fight for what is right. Do not yeild.
But reality is the west and America is evil. For years we left the parasite increase and the rot is beyond stopping.
And so Russia and even China today stand out as beckons of light to ones like myself who by the grace of God who still have eyes to see.
