Hear me out and you will understand the title.
There is a difference between a rebellion and a revolution. A rebellion is what occurred in the thirteen colonies in the late 18th century. A revolution is what occurred in Russia in 1917.
A rebellion occurred in the colonies, because the subjects of the king in the colonies were treated differently constitutionally and in law from subjects of the king in England. The colonists had no representation in Parliament and no voice in how they were ruled.
The rebellion resulted in political independence but not in a change in the belief system. The colonists held to belief in the rule of law to which government is held accountable and to Blackstonian legal principles. The legal and political principles that the English had fought for from the Magna Carta to the Glorious Revolution of 1688, which established the people’s power to govern themselves through representatives in Parliament, were enshrined in the Constitution. The United States is the Constitution. If the Constitution is set aside and not followed, the United States is a different entity.
For the United States to break from the Constitution is a revolutionary act in comparison to the 18th century rebellion demanding equal treatment for English colonists.
The essence of a revolution is a collapse in the system of beliefs that hold a country together.
A revolution is what occurred in Russia in February, 1917. Most people think that the Czar was overthrown by Lenin and the Bolsheviks, but this is not the case. The Czar was overthrown by the collapse in the belief system that defined Czarist Russia. The collapse in the belief system resulted in the February Revolution. The Czar’s military forced him to abdicate in March. A Socialist Revolutionary, Alexander Kerensky became Prime Minister of a provisional government.
The Bolsheviks’ October Revolution was directed against this provisional government. It was not a revolution, because the revolution had already occurred. It was an unseating. The Bolsheviks’ question to the provisional government was: “Who chose you?” The obvious answer was that they had chosen themselves.
If asked the same question, the American Establishment’s answer is the same as the Russian provisional government’s answer.
The structure of belief that defined Czarist Russia was destroyed by the Russian liberals who used the Czar’s need of their support for World War I against Germany to agitate for a Constitutional Monarchy, as existed in England, where the monarch retained some power, but legislation was in the hands of a parliament. Rather than the source of law, the monarch was accountable to law.
The Russian liberals placed a high value on their agenda. In their pursuit of their agenda, they became increasingly aggressive in their condemnations of the Czar’s resistance. Unaware or dismissive of the Czar’s promise to his father not to alter Russia by relinquishing power, the liberals’ denunciations became unsettling to the mass of the Russian people, who kept expecting retaliation from the Czar against those committing sedition against him.
But the Czar could not retaliate, because without the liberals and their organizations the war effort would be impaired. The Czar did not realize the impact on the population of unanswered accusations. Russians concluded that the accusations must be true as the Czar failed to act against his accusers.
I have given you a brief explanation. You can get the complete story if you can find a copy of Russia 1917, The February Revolution by George Katkov.
As a post-graduate at Oxford University, I got to know George Katkov and benefitted from many conversations with him. Katklov was a don at St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. It was St. Antony’s that arranged for me to give a Special University Lecture at Oxford on January 20, 1969, a special treat for a graduate student. Even then truth had to struggle its way. Now it has little chance.
This brings us to America’s First Revolution now unfolding. How did it come about? It came about because decades of liberal assaults in the name of one “progressive cause” or another destroyed the structure of beliefs that define the United States. Today we can see with our own eyes, if we open them, that there is no longer any such thing as academic freedom, free speech, freedom of association, privacy, due process. People are fired from their jobs and sentenced to economic peril for merely expressing their opinions or attending the wrong rally or using disapproved pronouns. Those who insist on electoral integrity, the basis of democracy, are demonized as “enemies of democracy.” Legislation is pending that will be used to define any dissent from controlled Establishment explanations as subversion.
You can add to the list. But a long list is unnecessary to show that no important institution in America any longer believes in the liberties and protections guaranteed by the US Constitution or in democracy itself. Not the universities, the bar associations, the media, the courts, the political parties or the Congress.
It is this destruction of belief that constitutes the First American Revolution. The consequences are yet to be fully felt.
‘ It came about because decades of liberal assaults in the name of one “progressive cause” or another destroyed the structure of beliefs that define the United States. ‘
This is manifestly true. Yet it also came about when the gold standard was destroyed.
Two short videos to illustrate these points.
1) Already the ‘SWIFT’ money transferr system is being outclassed by other players in cluding the Chinese which already has the largest volume of trade on the planet.

2) For those who enjoy satire here is my latest on the US counter culture on the lines of if you resurrect Guevara and catapult him into today’s political world without giving him a crash refresher course, he would not know which side of the political divide is which. If anything, he may think that it is the other way around.

Logic and excellent reasons why the US dollar will crash. Even the ancients knew that if greed was inbilt into the system that in the long term it would destroy that system. This is not and was not something that was intellectually challenging even within primitive cultures. What it does do however is to encourage a process of ‘bag snatching’ where short term gains make such activities profitable. The US are ‘bag snatchers’ and that anyone who disbelieves such is not a student of history. That the US went even further to protect their ‘bag snatchers’ with military force is also indisputable.
“There is a difference between a rebellion and a revolution. A rebellion is what occurred in the thirteen colonies in the late 18th century. A revolution is what occurred in Russia in 1917”. These assertions are open for debate.
Yes, the 1776 “revolution” was certainly a rebellion, but one organized and payed for by the Rothschild’s. George Washington was a freemason in Rothschild’s pay. Historians just love to ignore that portrait of him in that masonic apron.
How many people joined the 1776 “revolution”, ie. rebellion ? According to conservative historians, a mere 7 % of “Americans” joined Washington. According to liberal historians, Washington was joined by 25 % of “Americans”, with another 25 % joining the English. The remaining 50 % of the population remained docile, wondering what was going on. This means that at least 75 % of the population never joined Washington. One must always bear in mind that in 1776 there was no such thing as the “American” ethnic group, this being an invention of Washington and the Rothschild’s, who used geography to create an artificial ethnic group and republic. This little trick is still being used, like creating the Bosnian and Kosovar ethnic groups, even though there is no such thing as the Bosnian and Kosovar languages, which do not exist. After Washington’s victory, you had mass emigration of immigrants back to England, with one English contemporary stating that there wasn’t a single town or village in England which did not have American immigrants. As for the US, Washington’s legacy will be found in the HQ of the Freemasons which controls both Congress and the politicians at the Capitol. So much for representation.
And the so-called Russian “revolution” of 1917 ? Was it really a revolution, or a rebellion ? Like the 1776 rebellion on the North American continent, it was financed by Western bankers, the difference being that the Rothschild’s financed Washington while Wall Street bankers financed Lenin, who received 20 million dollars in gold (it goes without saying that Wall Street bankers had Rothschild’s backing).
The difference between 1776 and 1917 is that the Russian rebellion saw more participants, all as a result of social inequalities and bad conduct of the First World War. Even so, this did nor prevent the civil war that was fought between the Whites and the Reds (while people were unhappy about social inequalities, this did not mean that the bulk of the population hated the Tzar).
Do we today have the first revolution in the US ? Debatable. The election was shamefully stolen from Trump and Biden’s overall win grossly inflated by false ballots. Even so, he received more votes than would have been logical. As things stand now, what we have in the US is another rebellion which can be placed in the category of populist uprising, as compared to the banker rebellion of 1776. However, one must always bear in mind that today’s rebellion has the backing of only one part of the population. Even so, the numbers are not small.
Finally, this division in American society has prompted some analysts to state that the US is facing a civil war. This is highly unlikely. As I have written before, a civil war of the type fought between 1861-1865 is virtually impossible, as who would fight it ? How many men would be willing to leave their families behind and go out and fight ? Not many. However, what is very much possible are social and political disturbances resembling a civil war, which could see the implosion of the US. The Biden Presidency is going to be very interesting. We shall now see if the neocons had bitten more than the can chew with their soft coup d’etat against Trump.
Rothschild barely existed in 1776. It was a street in Frankfurt with a red shield where Anschwellen Bauer had a very small business.
This bizarre obsession with Rothschild is a very US fetish and has no historical relevance
Moses Amschel Bauer is the correct name
And the Rothschilds are of historical significance

Hi Paul – yeah – I think the Rothschild family were in existence – and even during the late 1800s when they branched out from their one and only bank – and became the first international bankers – but the family itself was into banking possibly from the Middle Ages when the Catholic Church condemned money lending and told Christians it was sinful. So European Jews got into it with the approval of the Christian church. That’s my understanding and Rothschilds were already rich but not criminal before the international banking began. And when it began – there was wide approval of it as a brilliant development – but within 20 years it was already corrupt and becoming a carcinoma on the planet. And still is. I do think the Rothschilds are luciferians – one of them was photographed with that widely acknowledged woman Marina Abramonov – the spirit cooking witch.
That would be Marina Abramovich.
Paul Greenwood
The Red Shield was indeed the emblem of the Rothschild’s banking business, and in Frankfurt it did stand outside their Office. However, the five pointed star is the emblem of the Rothschild’s family, representing the five Rothschild’s brothers. The US flag holds five pointed stars. When Americans salute it, they in fact salute the Rothschild’s who run the US.
The flag of China also has five-pointed stars as well. What do you reckon are the implications?
(I’d also ask something about natural five-pointed stars like Asteroidea and carambola, but that might be too flippant, and probably better suited on the MFC.)
joey_n
The Chinese flag does indeed have five pointed stars. This means the Chinese are pretending to be Rothschild communists, when in fact they are not. The Chinese Communist Party was never created by Western bankers. The Chinese beat them to it.
Who do you think put Trump in office ?? Obama = Bush 2.0
Trump = Obama 2.0 and Biden = Trump 2.0.

When the citizens of a country stop sharing a set a beliefs about what reality is all about then that country loses the cohesion that it absolutely needs to reproduce over the long haul. In other words a collapse of societal cohesion implies that the society in question is soon going to stop functioning as it had been until then. In sociological terms this is called a pre-revolutionnary condition. And such a condition is necessarily followed by one of the following :
— or an economic and financial crash that leaves the people in the deepest of miseries while power has no answer other than the use of force to keep the thing together.
— or a revolution and the establishment of a new order but I don’t know of a force able to lead a revolution in the USA
— or a military coup and than we come back to the use of force to keep the thing together.
— or a split into different polities claiming their independence from the old Dis-United States of America.
My guess is a combination of options one and four. Options two and three require too much coordination, cohesiveness, and level-headed thinking; all of which is nowhere in evidence in either the civilian polity or the military.
The Central Bank targeted money printing will continue with a vengeance for as a long as it’s able (which will be quite some time yet, as the Central Bank has proven more than willing to buy up its own debt instruments, balance sheet be damned!), as the economy continues to bifurcate into the financial economy for the wealthy (those who make their money from investments and speculation) and the real productive economy for everyone else. As we’re seeing now, inflation from all this new money will be largely confined to the financial economy, where it will continue to greatly inflate asset prices(!), while the real productive economy will continue to wither and die on the vine. All just as intended. Hats off to whoever who first thought of all this. It really is quite an ingenious plan!
This will likely lead to option four in the longer term, although I suspect it will be less due to “different polities claiming their independence from the old Dis-United States of America,” and more that the US government simply abandons all pretense and starts cutting states and regions loose due to malign neglect. In short: in typical American fashion, a messy divorce. Accusations, recrimination, neglect, abandonment, followed by finally calling in the lawyers to make it official.
The main question to be settled will be how to divide up all the military nuclear and bio-terror weapons booty. That could be a real sticking point. Perhaps China/Russia will have bought out DC officially by then and act as a neutral third party facilitator of sorts in their disposal and/or redistribution? Or perhaps we’ll all be treated to a rather spectacular domestic fireworks show to settle things once and for all? Or perhaps a more mundane combination of the two: some sporadic spectacular violence to start the party, followed by an intervention by concerned third parties to prevent wholesale destruction of assets in receivership? Should make for some great futurist novels in the meantime.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s commencement address at Harvard University on June 8,1978 was a speech of a man ahead of his time. Great foresight. I am honored to have gotten to visit his little museum in Moscow.
“Today we can see with our own eyes, if we open them, that there is no longer any such thing as academic freedom, free speech, freedom of association, privacy, due process. perfectly true.
But there is one thing, nobody is addressing.
It is time, or timing when big changes come to happen.
All or most of – these freedom killing factors DO arrive at the time, OR after a few years time when the technological, data processing and instant communication revolution burst out, exploded worldwide, starting by the rich world…
If by chance, those revolutionary and communication techs HAD occurred in the former and glorious era of the then ruling c o n s e r v a t i v e regimes and govts, WHO can guarantee that the freedom killing results would nt be the same?
It is just a suspicion, folks. Or a matter of “should it have been”.
But opposing arguments and debate are welcome.
A great analysis as usual from PCR.
To me what is happening in the US is more of a coup than a revolution because the liberals do not actually seek to change the power structure but only want “their people” to be in charge within the different positions.
In this sense it is distinct from Russia 1917 and Germany 1933 where the revolution was accompanied by important changes in the power structure.
I think this perhaps why so many people are asleep with regards to recent events. They see it as a change of guard, that’s all.
This may be a beginning of the US version of Roman proscription, like the one that claimed Cicero. But definitely “the through is the same, only the pigs change.”
Lol! Great analogy about troughs and pigs!
”English had fought for from the Magna Carta to the Glorious Revolution of 1688,” You left out the Civil War 1642-49. The prerequisite for the Glorious Revolution s little later rested on the pikes of the New Model Army led by Cromwell and Fairfax. This in addition to the so called ‘Putney Debates’ which took place in 1647 among the leaders of the New Model Army. Some very interesting politics took place at that time when the Parliament decided which political dispensation was to be established in England.
Time marches on. 2022 and 2024 are just around the corner and I’m getting more and more excited by the day! I wonder if others are. So many questions will be answered over the next very few years.
Should/will the Oligarchic Transnational Elite Collective remove that pesky, divisive right-to-vote before the mid-term or 2024 elections? If it was, that would eliminate the possibility of a repeat of the Russians, Chinese, Martians meddling in the ’16 or ’20 elections, right? Then the USAians would be right on the road to Utopia.
If, and it’s a big if, the right to vote remains in place for the next two elections, do you think that 154 million USAians are going to, once again!, vote for an R or a D, no matter what President Potato Head or President “Black” Woman inflicts on the world for the next four years? (I’ve got to come up with a better handle for President Potato Head’s VP; any ideas?)
If he’s alive in four years, will Noam Chomsky once again recommend voting for the lesser of two lessers — maybe the you-name-the-neocon-D instead of R Mike Pompeo?
Will Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia or China still exist as a soveriegn nations in 2024?
Will the “USA” still exist in 4 years?
Wow! No Netflix of Prime Video movie can beat this Real Life Movie! I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly “staying tuned”!
Yes indeed to all of the above.
Watching the CBS News fawning coverage of the Biden coronation as we speak. Oh so syrupy sweet with absolutely none of the guilty pleasure. Hard to believe that they actually believe anyone at all could swallow any of this sewage. Oh well, meet the new boss, same as the old boss. The shit show rolls on!
Unelected Bidet is not a president of the people, he is an elite puppet.
Now all the ceremonial pantomime is over with a wall of guns to protect it, the American “deplorables” must not allow the rage to subside just because the pageantry is over.
Nothing has changed, your country is still been robbed and taken by a bunch of criminals.

why should anyone cry over the end of a gulag born on genocide.,human must not depend on any ideologies, life is precious it must be lived passionately without hoping for ideologies to save us.
please explain the video link when posting it. Thanks.
Great thanks to PCR and our host for bringing this analysis to me.
History is written by the victors, and there is a long robust trend of who is writing the history!
So, the questions about “rebellion” v “revolution” of past events is greatly obfuscated, and therefore of questionable use in our current situation.
In our recent times, no meaningful rebellion, nor revolution has occurred, in the traditional meaning(s) of the words.
These issues are certainly not limited to events in, and about, the U.S.A. as national entity.
Yet, the rubblings in the U.S.A. are being noticed.
I am astounded to find that many people, many astute people, indicate little or no concern at the irregularities in this latest presidential election; the same people are adamant that events of January 6th were an insurrection! These same astute people have expressed deep concern when I express my incredulity about the November US general election, and, at a minimum, the need for some kind of further investigation, even if only to allow the skeptical side an opportunity to vent their concerns.
The overwhelming issue is the utter intolerance, everywhere, but really noticeably on the side supporting the agenda of the so-called democrats, which also lavishes on hatred and consigns those with (what seem to be legitimate) concerns as Trump-supporters equating it with fascism and white supremacism.
Does anyone else feel really creeped-out, like the zombie apocalypse is actually underway?!
In an adjoining on this site, Amir Nour references Yuval Noah Harari’s work: Sapiens and “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” http://thesaker.is/hacking-the-human-mind/
I’ve read these books and highly recommend them.
Is this where we are?
Is this what we are seeing?
Have humans been hacked?
And, if so, how?
I believe humans have been hacked and the method is via personal silicon technology information management devices (smartphones) linked to large social media data-mining/customization environments.
If so, I would appreciate all suggestions to mitigate this disaster in progress.
But one way or another, the personal web-linked information technology devices seem complicit.
outstanding article – really describes exactly what has happened. Thank Dr. Roberts.
