Intl. community must slam US’ ‘destructive’ behavior, economic terrorism: Iran
Ali Akbar Salehi made the remarks while addressing the Sixty-Third Regular Session of International
Atomic Energy Agency General Conference in Vienna on Monday (September 16, 2019)

To me it looks more and more like ‘the blob’ wants Iran to close the strait.
Why? — to keep oil prices up. And so that they can blame Iran.
#Fracking #ShaleOil #TarSand #PeakOil
If Iranian and Venezuelan oil hit the market in any size, it’ll crater the empire’s oil business.
yes,
and it was the US that hit those saudi refineries – why?
to remove competitors & drive up oil prices – bcs fracking needs high oil prices
If what you say is true, sounds quite plausible, why haven’t the Houthi’s challenged this weird (but not unexpected) assertion by KSA that whatever weapon targeted the infrastructure the other day originated on Iranian soil?
Seen the pics at MOA? Little holes in the side of big tanks. Looks like tanks were empty, otherwise they should be gone. Maybe need planes to hit the tanks, then they’d collapse on their own footprint.
Yeah, saw that. Had the same thought — those were awfully precision holes, for some sort of dumb Houthi home-made weapon. Or even for an Iranian weapon with a few ‘smarts’. Looked more like hand-planted charges made them. .
It’s quite possible the Saudis (and usual suspects) timed their FF with the Houthi attack.
I believe you’re onto something there, sean.
How do you explain the Houthi claim they ran the attack? Are they collaborating with those murdering them by the 1000s?
Removed insult to fellow poster,MOD.
If I remember correctly, the comment was not directed at just one poster, mod, but several, who are spouting obvious nonsense as a chorus.
Nobody knows for certain what transpired, including yourself, vot tak. We are here seeking the truth, asking questions, positing ideas, theories. I’m skeptical about the event, (as images are showing some strange uniform holes, anomalies) yet I’ve been careful not to jump to conclusions one way or the other.
Are we not to share our opinions or theories on events taking place in our world? I get your frustration with people who speak in absolutes, matter of factly. To be fair, we all have been guilty of this at one time or another, yes? It’s understandable given the importance of these events to feel impassioned or to see things one way or the other.
Wirhout coming off as patronizing, this is why forums like this exist so we can hash it out, share ideas, become enlightened or perhaps continue in one’s ignorance in light of facts presented; that is that person’s right, however frustrating it is. We should try to be rational, level headed as much as possible, respectful unless attacked oneself, then you do reserve the right to defend yourself.
Pepe Escobar sits on the Roundtable of the Gatestone Institute – a very wealthy Zionist institute in America. I’ve read what he said in documents that are available on the internet – he said Assad was an animal – he spoke very roughly about Assad during the Syrian war. Pepe is a double agent. I wish people would not ignore that. People who know this information still support him – just like people in high places ignore Israel at large and continue to leave them alone even though their crimes against Palestine are worse than the Hilter crimes – Israel is treated like a king…Have you ever heard Pepe criticize Israel ? No. The worst he does is make jokes about Bibi. Its too bad. He gets jobs like this one where there are many others honest journalists that don’t get these wonderful interviews. Pity.
Dear Ann,
With all due respect, I believe that you are truly totally wrong. Yes, Pepe has his own views and we don’t have to agree with them. But name-calling in lieu of arguments is not a good approach. I consider Pepe a friend and a trust ally.
YMMV of course.
Kind regards
The Saker
Hi Saker – I shouldn’t have called him a double agent as this topic is not about Israel anyway. The rest of what I said is not name calling, its fact…and thanks for leaving the comment in the thread.
Ann
Excellent interview. Many thanks!
The Iranian general seems to be articulate & clear. I was good to see the general articulate the Iranian military’s point of view in a calm manner.
Is it just me, or is it only Western style journalism that has the journalist constantly interject?
Some say it is sabotage or attack via flying machines, but is this not an error (?) as there is no evident reason for “either/or”. Common sense says it was probably both. Big tanks of LPG, by the way, are thin, perhaps 6 mm. I have been inside them, though not those particular ones) The holes look about right to my eye.
LPG boils off – and either burns in air or not, but it does not explode – so yeah, maybe the tanks were more or less full. Getting around on the outside of such tanks, say to plant a gadget, is not easy – you’d fall. One would use either a man lift of serious size, from the ground, or a rope from the top. The symmetry suggests that the holes came from not hand-placed explosive. However, elsewhere, say in a pump or turbogenerator…they say there’s a place for everything…
(I went away, for thought, but kept reading along)
The interview was great! Watching the Iranian Officer minds me of the durability of Persia – say 470 BCE – there are real nations, and fake ones…. I do however doubt that he fully appreciates the delusional conditions inside the murkabubble…
