Here is a pretty good commentary.
Also, Russia AWACS (A-50U) have been seen in the skies over Syria. That provides Russia with a quantum leap in the detection of low-flying (cruise missiles) and low-RCS (stealth) objects.

I am not afraid, because I haven’t done anything wrong. I am not trying to control people, but I do want order and responsibilty and for our dustbins to be collected in a reasonable way. Sure I am into recycling too rather than sending all our waste in the UK in otherwise empty ships back to China – but that is just the way it is..I have no solutions to it…but some people seem to be still trying..even in England where we live..so I haven’t completely given up on the concept of Democracy – but if I vote I will vote for Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party – though they don’t stand a cat in hell’s chance chance of getting in here…
England ain’t so bad – most people are really nice…but I did write this..after the gig in my local pub tonight. It did not get published – so far as I can see….
I may be a bit slow, but I could see this bloke through my front window of our house..and I could see him taking down the registration number of my car parked in my front drive…but he doesn’t stop there…he comes and knocks on my front door..
I answered it – and I could see where he was coming from…
I just put my hand up to him and said
No Way…
so he went next door and across the road – there is no way he won’t get in again – but I am not going to vote for my local MP ever again…
and then this bloke turns up at my local pub – and he looks exactly like Craig Murray – I said to him nice tie – but he didn’t quite have the accent.
However, I did shake his hand…and said I am Tony…He said his name was Steve..but we did not speak for very long.
And I am probably still banned.

US pilots in thier flying coffins should better stay away from Russian no-fly zones.
“Despite such limitations, Russia came out on top. According to Karamarenko, during the 32 months that Russian forces were in Korea, they downed 1250 enemy planes. “Of that number the (Russian) corps’ anti-aircraft artillery shot down 153 planes and the pilots killed 1097,” he writes. In comparison, the Soviets lost 319 MiGs and Lavochkin La-11s.
…
The air battle of Black Tuesday would forever change the USAF’s conduct of strategic aerial bombardment. The B-29s would no longer fly daytime sorties into MiG Alley. North Korean towns and villages would no longer be carpet bombed and napalmed by the Americans. Thousands of civilians were out of the firing line.
…
Clearly, none of the B-29s had a chance of flying more than 100 km into the vastness of the Soviet Union and remaining unscathed. “It can be said with confidence that the Soviet airmen who fought in Korea, causing so much damage to the enemy’s bomber aviation, had put off the threat of a Third World War, a nuclear war, for a long time,” says Kramarenko.”

Well said, A
The pindo claims about their arial prowness over Korea rival those of nazi propaganda (which is still promoted as fact in american “historical” nonsense related to The Great Patriotic War, btw), according to pindo propaganda, they shot down more MiGs than were actually there.
I don’t know if anyone can change anything. Maybe we have always lived the same lives. There was never a start (except from your own perception – in your mother’s womb when you became aware of your thumb. When you die you go to heaven – because once you are dead – it doesn’t matter if time seems to go on to infinity – you are dead..But if time is cyclic – then maybe our theory is correct…So treat your life as if it is once in a lifetime whilst it seems like the first time – but maybe there never was a first time. So just be nice to people. You might have already lived this life forever and always will.
I did physics at school with my mate Paul and we came up with this theory when we were 16 years old – both looking at the girl of our dreams in the library. We both knew we stood no chance. We were both far too shy. So I joined the film club – and that was even more embarrassing. We were all 16 year old kids. Some of us are still alive and kicking.

Somewhat OT, perhaps.
Washington Holds ‘Immortal Regiment’ March to Honor Victory Day
https://sputniknews.com/us/201705071053351441-washington-immortal-regiment-march/
“Despite the rain and chilly weather, several hundred young and older people, children and veterans took part in the event. The march was attended by people from the United States, Eastern Europe, Russia and former Soviet republics.
“I am holding the photos of my father Viktor Konusov who fought in the WWII and came back, his brother Alexander who went missing but most likely was killed, and my grandfather Ivan Zlobin who also went missing and we think he was killed. I came today because it is a big important holiday for everyone in Russia and abroad, who remember history and don’t want it to repeat,” Rozhke said.
“This is my father Frank Gretz. I am here because he was in the war, he was a soldier, and because I want to rekindle an alliance between American and Russian people. I think we have a lot in common,” Gallager said.
The march, held in the US capital for the second time, was accompanied by the songs of the WWII period sung by the participants to the music played by a bayan player.
The group was headed by the WWII veteran and walked from the White House to the World War II Memorial where they laid flowers and wreaths.
People were carrying photos of their ancestors who participated in the war.
The event concluded with a wartime songs concert performed by the children of the Russian language schools both in Russian and English.
This year, 22 US cities are hosting the “Immortal Regiment” marches, including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago.
The Immortal Regiment is a patriotic initiative that commemorates those who fought against Nazi Germany during World War II in marches held across Russia and other countries on May 9, celebrated as Victory Day in Russia and the former Soviet republics. During the marches, people carry photographs of their ancestors who participated in the war.
The first US march was held in the city of New York on May 3, 2015.
The number of Soviet Union casualties in WWII are estimated to have exceeded 27 million. The military casualties exceeded 8.7 million, which is more than a half of the total allied death toll.”
Due to the influence of domestic nazi promoters and associates (this includes the rockefeller, bush, kennedy families, plus many more of the oligarchies ruling the usa) and that of zionazi freakshow that have now usurped these, pindos have little idea what happened beyond Normandy and “miraclusly” america defeated germany about a year later.
Two reasons why americans are kept as mushrooms about WW2 in the west. First, it was a continuation of the fascists trying to defeat the challenge to their rule in the USSR, and, 2nd, the pindo establishment is essentially fascist (a lot of nazi “thinking” was basically a 20th century “modernization” of the american slavocracy that pindo bubbas are so proud of), the nazis embodied what “america is made of”, literally, among those ruling the country and the scum doing the pr.
“The number of Soviet Union casualties in WWII are estimated to have exceeded 27 million. The military casualties exceeded 8.7 million, which is more than a half of the total allied death toll.”
Big deal. To a Pindo (or, more generally, a Westerner), 20+ million killed Russians come nowhere close to the tragedy of one (1) killed piece of Euro-trash from either side of the Atlantic.
Weibo news reports that Turkey lose big against Kurds with US on Kurds side. Anyone has information.
Disappointing, but not unexpected. All polemics, zero information.
Luckily, Canthama over at SyrPer has some very interesting things to say about the implications of of the Russian brokered de-escalation zones in Syria:
“Though it is to early for conclusions on the “new deal” broke in Astana, some possible implications and thoughts are as follows:
– Western Syria will gradually move toward reconciliation, al Qaeda affiliates will either have to intermingle back into the Syrian society or will be hunt down to the last.
This is by far the weakest link of all, there will be a lot of ceasefire violations and provocations. Without any airforce flying over the 4 zones, the risk for a CW false flag vanished. No more excuses for the US and the coalition of killing.
– The US and it allies aim to control all northern, eastern and southeastern Syria, this control would allow the dreamt pipeline to go through the new added lands. This plan seemed to be at serious risk due to the focus for the SAA and allies to storm central, eastern and southeastern Syria and get the control of the Iraq border back. To early to anticipate the US reaction, but they were caught off guard with this one. On top of that the Iraq Government announced yesterday that the US troops will be out of Iraq after ISIS is defeated, double khara in the the US fan right now.
– Israel was aiming for additional safe zone (annexation as the Golan) in southern Syria, this move is now totally dead.
– Turkey regime, which supported all sorts of terrorists in Syria, had to save face, the newly formed safe zones was its way out. Still the turkish regime can surprise us all with its traditional backstabbing.
– After the US criminal airstrike toward al Shayrat airbase, Russia decided to change the game, and get officially involved on the ground to block the US attempt in eastern Syria, but to do that it had to make sure western Syria would be a bit safer so its assets would not be at risk and at the same time the SAA and allies could concentrate their best troops toward east and the Iraq border.
– SDF in the north will have to make some decisions soon, from its arrogant position toward the Syrian Government to some sort of reconciliation, with or without the US agreement. The US has also to deal with Turkish demand on YPG/PKK.
– Kurds factions in Iraq are about to get into a nasty civil war, Barzani may finally lose it dictatorship, the stronger the Iraq army and Government, the weaker Barzani will be.
– The scenario above allows the Syrian Government to regain some control of air space and territory, there is at least a possible plan for Syria’s territorial integrity. Should the Government institutions really start to get into the terrorists held pockets, then that will be a strong sign the “new deal” is working. ”
and:
” Information is flowing with the prepping of Eastern Syria offensive, as mentioned in a comment above there will be several different objective/variables involved in the offensive, such as:
1) Maskaneh plains – deny it to SDF and the US
2) Central Homs and Eastern Hama – Eliminate ISIS threat in its closest presence to western Syria, also block any further move from SDF south of Tabqa.
3) Der ez Zor – lift the siege and eliminate ISIS presence in Der ez Zor and Hasaka Province – there will be possible conflict with SDF’s expansion since one of the objectives is to control the Euphrates river.
4) SE Syria (al Bukamal and iraq border) – control the border and secure the desert from terrorists, both ISIS and NFSA US backed terrorists.
The forces to be used toward these objectives are a mix of elite Syrian and allies while regular militias :
Tiger Forces – partial force
Hezbollah – partial force
Russian SOF and airborne
SAA’s 5th Corps – full force
Qalamoun Shield – partial force
Desert Hawks – full force
Republican Guards 800th regiment – full force
Republican Guards – partial forces from 102nd, 106th and 105th
NDF
Baqqara and Shaytat tribes – locals from Homs and Der ez Zor Provinces.
Besides tanks, artillery and armoured vehicles, we will most likely see airborne operations with behind the enemy lines attacks to disrupt and speed up the liberation of the siege of Der ez Zor, for that special forces will be used as storming troopers as well as militias to hold the gained ground.
Initial estimates of over 20,000 soldiers and fighters will be mobilized, serious logistics to support that many in the desert area. ”
