   Trump is talking about setting up “Safezones” for Syrians who are trying to escape violence. But is not the violence in those areas under “rebel” control? It stands to reason the people are fleeing those areas. But are not those areas, at least some of them, areas in control of forces supported or financed in someway by U.S. entities? So this safezone business is all very confusing. Maybe Trump is using the “Safezone” excuse to get U.S. troops into Syria. Seems to me safe zones already do exist in Syria; that is those zones under Syrian government control.
