Basically the opposition in Iran were trying to stir up the use of their airbase as an issue. Elections are coming up. The responses were directed at them.
Russia and Iran are still very much committed to fight terror and Russia only used bases to re-fuel aircraft last week – it was never permanent or leased – so MSM just stirring the pot as always…….
Have you read what the Iranian minister (not oposition) said about the Russian arrogancy and desire to show that it is a world power?
