Some people say that god created Ukrainians so we could make fun of them, but I don’t believe that ethnic Ukrainians themselves share this sentiment due to a complete absence of a sense of humor.
I grew up someplace else, but graduated from high school in Kiev, where I studied with other hardworking, determined, intelligent, and success driven students. Now, most of them live in Moscow, Germany, Israel, and Canada. What actually has happened in the past quarter of a century is an example of social engineering of a nation into a completely different breed of people. Those normal intelligent people who remain in this country are being ruled by a fascist mob.
There were some signs of premonition, though. Once, our next door neighbor, a director of a large medical center, met my mom in the hallway and told her, “We, Ukrainians are feeding you, katsap [Ukr. slur for Russians]. Eat, eat, until your bellies explode.” He was drunk and later apologized.
After graduating from high school, I took my application to the Kiev State University department of Slavic languages and Balkan countries. I graduated top of my class and was a member of the Children (Malaya) Academy of Science, however people in the admissions office looked at my papers and said, “You’re Russian, so you should study in Moscow. Kiev University is for Ukrainians only.” When I came back home and told my mom, she got very pale like she saw a ghost. “Last time I checked, we lived in the Soviet Union,” she said. “We are one country with equal rights for everyone. How could they not take your application? Something horrible is going to happen here. We have to leave Ukraine immediately. Before it’s too late.” And we did.
She still shudders, when we talk about this, goes to church and lights a candle for the Archangel Michael, the Archistrategos, for taking us out of Ukraine before it fell into the abyss.
Just to give you a measurement unit for Ukrainian neo-Nazism, compare this with Israel, a militant religious ultra-nationalist society obsessed with purity of blood, that accepted me to one of their Universities without any qualms.
Two weeks after the previous SITREP several interesting events took place in Ukraine, each with a different degree of tomfoolery. Poroshenko paid Maidan number 3, which wasn’t. For numerological purposes we will name it Maidan 2 3/4. It started with an unsuccessful attempt of some fractions in Ukraine’s parliament to remove the prime Minister, Yatsenyuk. Poroshenko wants to replace Yatsenyuk with his man. Yats, as we all know, was appointed by the US State Department, and that’s why he proved to be irreplaceable. Maidan 2 3/4 ended victoriously with customary pogroms of the offices of companies with Russian capital. This assault on the Russia’s investments into Ukraine points that organizers of these pogroms were the US and EU companies that want complete control over Ukrainian economy.
“Maidan” anniversary ended up in pogroms of Banks and Offices in Kiev. Eng. Subs

The Western-run Ukrainian media responded to this new Maidan and pogroms with their customary blaming Russia. For instance, uainfo.org or Svoboda Slova is a Ukraine based NGO organized by Dmitrij Dacenko, a Lithuanian born serial NGOs creator based in London. He published an “analytical” article titled: Pogrom in center Kiev is a mindless Kremlin technology that failed.
Update
This is a very interesting turn of events.
On Sunday, armed groups of Ukrainian neo-Nazis organized pogroms of offices of Alfa-Bank and Sberbank.
Andrew Kramer on torching of the “Russian” bank offices.
“The pro-Western government, which has not hesitated to impose sanctions and trade restrictions on profitable Russian businesses here, such as airlines, has mostly left the banks alone.”
“The Russian banks are now receiving or are likely to receive an infusion of funds from their parent corporations in Russia in order to stay afloat, according to banking analysts, and are a source of much-needed capital for Ukraine.”
According to Mr. Kramer, those who torched and firebombed buildings with people living there in the middle of the densely populated urban areas, were “Ukrainian activists.” Not terrorists, mind you.
Maybe Mr. Kramer knows something…
And now hard truth:
Alfa Bank Ukraine is owned by ABH Holdings S.A., a private investment group with a headquarter in Luxemburg. Official owners are Mikhail Fridman from Lvov and German Khan from Kiev, both are citizens of Israel. Both have distanced themselves from Russia, and both were very active supporters of Maidan.
Alfa Bank Russia and Alfa Bank Belarus are also parts of this holding.
Offices of SCM Group, a company of Rinat Akhmetov, a Ukrainian businessmen were also destroyed. Akhmetov, by some accounts, financially backed Ultra-nationalist groups, private military companies, and foreign mercenaries that were running all over Donbass in 2014 acting as the Right Sector and Strelkov-Girkin groups.
Sberbank is a Russian bank. Bank’s director, German Gref is an open anti-Putin neo-liberal, who demands the return of Crimea to Ukraine, who says that people should never be allowed to elect government officials, who demands a full privatization of Sberbank and was refused by Putin. Immediately after Maidan, Gref deposited from $5 to $7 billion dollars, of Russian taxpayers money, in the Ukrainian branches, to support the new junta! These money have never been recovered. Mr. Gref also refuses to open branches of Sberbank in Crimea and Sevastopol.
Essentially, neo-Nazis just went and smashed offices of the sponsors of Maidan.
New government coalition in Ukraine: old oligarchs and new oligarchs play musical chairs game on Titanic. [source]
After failing to get rid of Yatsenyuk, Poroshenko decided to build a majority, just like Joe Biden told him. Political life in Ukraine after boiling over for a moment has returned to its designated place, under the rug. Maidan brought forward a situation of unlawfulness, that it just keeps expanding, like a vortex. It’s not just that there is no coalition in the government. It’s much worse. It’s an illegal state of governmental demise, where every participant is only interested in preserving his or her place at the state troth.
Of course further scandals are anticipated, because it was just announced that Europarlament will take a direct role in the formation of “coalition 2”. Or, like Yulia Timoshenko says it “kaolition.” Expect great things coming next week from Brussels
Poroshenko has already booked a flight to Fashington for the end of March. He has to give a report on the successful work in building democracy and unity in his government.
The further Ukraine goes into the Post-Maidan forest, the more it looks like the worst case scenario. The total dependence of the government on external powers Kiev is not even trying to hide. It’s the price of such dependency that is being paid by the nation’s economy, culture, identity, and by every Ukrainian, by struggling with many ills and problems of modern Ukrainian life, that no one mentions.
Kiev junta continues to disintegrate in two distinct ways: 1. Rats are leaving the ship; 2. Regions demand political and fiscal autonomy.
1. Rats are leaving the ship
1. Ukrainian Deputy Procurator General Vitalii Kasko, has resigned. Mr. Kasko told journalists in Kyiv on February 15 that “the straw that broke the camel’s back” was a move by Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin to take all of Kasko’s activities under his control. On February 16, Procurator General Viktor Shokin resigned after Poroshenko asked him and Yatsenyuk to step down. Shokin has faced accusations of stalling high-profile corruption cases against allies of Viktor Yanukovych, the former president who was toppled by protests in February 2014. Poroshenko said that Shokin and Yatsenyuk should quit “in order to restore trust in the government.” “The announcement to replace [Shokin] is a signal of Ukraine’s seriousness about its reform process,” U.S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters on February 16. Batkivshchyna, an ally in Ukraine’s ruling coalition, has quit, calling the alliance a “clans’ coalition that brought the nation to the extreme point of destruction.” The leader of the party, Yulia Tymoshenko, made the announcement on February 17 and urged other lawmakers to also walk out of the coalition.
2. Regions demand political and fiscal autonomy.
Dnipropetrovsk region deputies voted in favor of economic autonomy. The administrations of two districts of Dnepropetrovsk region unanimously adopted an appeal addressed to Poroshenko, Rada and the Dnipropetrovsk regional Council urging them to pass a bill on the economic autonomy of the region.
According to the Kiev newspaper “Izvestia”, in their address, Krinichansky and Verhnedneprovsky district councils state the necessity to adopt the autonomy bill is dictated by the difficult economic situation in Ukraine:
“We have to admit that, despite of all the efforts of the government to change the country’s economic situation for the better, it can’t do it. Thus, great importance is to search for new methods of financial provision of local self-government. A new method and tool, as the experience of leading world powers can become a mechanism for creating special economic zones, priority development areas and autonomies”.
Decisions by the regional councils of Dnipropetrovsk region was supported by the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. In particular, Oleg Krysin of the “Popular front” said:
“I heard about this initiative, I will certainly take it positively. But as a supporter of a comprehensive and systemic solutions, we must understand where and how the subjects of this economic zone will receive access to financial resource. So, I’m certainly have a positive attitude toward this initiative, and I will support it”.
MP from “Opposition bloc” Yuriy Miroshnychenko proposed to give special status to more areas in Ukraine:
“You know, I’d spread the idea of special zones in Ukraine. Today in conditions of total pressure on business, in the conditions when the legislation and executive powers, to put it mildly, don’t contribute to attracting new investments and creating new jobs, there is a need to create special economic zones”.
As a reminder, the bill “On the status of the Dnepropetrovsk special (autonomic) economic region” was developed by activists of the “Civil Rada of Dnipropetrovsk region”. Initiatives RDTs were supported by 6 MPs: Vadim Rabinovich, Natalia Korolevska, Serhiy Taruta, Rubincam Dmitry, Andrey Shipko and Eugene Musaevym. [Source]
And, more here:
Cherkasy regional Council supports the real decentralization
According to the Kiev newspaper “Izvestia”, Cherkasy regional Council by majority voted to appeal to Poroshenko and Rada with a call to amend the Constitution and to start the direct elections for governors. This decision was supported by 51 of the 60 members.
In his address to the deputies of Cherkasy regional Council noted that the heads of the regions who are being appointed from Kiev often have no idea about the specifics of regions and are not able to take adequate decisions.
“A long time ago we had governors that were elected by people. [Last time, it seems, during the Soviet time.] We used to elect our governors. I am for the right to vote. I believe that all posts be in the country should be elected by people”, — said the Deputy from the Renaissance [Vozrogdenie] party Alexander Presman.
Nestor Shufrych, an MP from “Opposition bloc” agrees:
“These initiatives are long overdue. The Governor or other heads of the regions and districts, should be elected by the people.”
On January 28, 2016 the Kyiv regional Council by a majority of votes had adopted an appeal to Poroshenko and deputies of Rada and all regional councils of Ukraine, to amend the Constitution to make an appointment of heads of local state administrations only by direct elections of governors. US Westinghouse Fuel Delivered to Biggest Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant
“The first batch of nuclear fuel from the Westinghouse company has been delivered to the Zaporizhia NPP as part of the nuclear fuel diversification program for Ukrainian NPPs developed by the [Ukrainian energy company] Energoatom.”
The representatives of Westinghouse stated that “IF” the first run is successful, their fuel will be loaded into power blocks 3, 4, and 1.
[source] [source] [source]
It is a scientific fact, that nuclear power stations in Ukraine had been designed and built to work only with Russian made fuel. No amount of “modernization” short of building new stations, can change this fact.
Russia urged the EU and Ukraine not to make this substitution, due to the fact that the Russian VVER type reactors that Ukraine has are not compatible with the Westinghouse type of fuel. However, as always in the West, hate trumps common sense. According to the European Atomic Forum (FORATOM) 28 September 2015 report:
“For the VVERs in operation in those five Member States the fuel is currently 100 % supplied from Russia due to long-term contracts or technological and commercial constraints. However, Europe’s nuclear industry has demonstrated its technical capability to make the fuel for these reactors11,12. Although it could take time for the EU industry to substitute for Russian Federation fuel fabrication, this would help reduce dependency on a sole external supplier.”
“If Ukraine decides to change all the fuel, from the point of view of the IAEA, it is impossible, it’s not just some metal part, it is very important from the safety point of view. I think that, Ukraine has rules in regard to nuclear safety. There are regulators, and they should not allow this to happen”, — said the head of the operational safety section of Department of nuclear installation in IAEA Miroslav Lipar in May 2014.
...Westinghouse’s actions in Ukraine aimed solely at achieving its own business objectives, which threaten nuclear safety in the region.

Thanks Scott. What a sad, sad tale. It is excruciating that people can be so inelegant and self-destructive. Thanks for your humour; otherwise it would just be much too painful to read about the glorious heroes of the Ukraine. What a bunch!

Sad state of affairs. In a way, though, it seems like an extreme case of the love of the West that is so common in Russia. And the political angle is similar as well: The USSR and then Russia have wanted convergence or basically joining the NWO, but with a certain degree of power in the resulting structure. The Ukraine has also had this desire to become part of the West, though much more a creature comfort desire for lace panties and a better chocolate ration. And the Moskals are the reason for never being able to achieve the chocolate.
Maybe the Kremlin needs to put a psychologist in the National Security Council. Some of the problems in Eastern Europe seem to be emotional and psychological in nature.
There is an interesting article below on Ukraine :
“The intention behind the conflict in Ukraine is to draw Europe, and especially Germany, away from Russia. NATO was created, according to the well-known phrase, to keep America in, Russia out and Germany down.
Yet, geography is destiny. Russia and Germany are natural partners. They had enough wars between them to earn mutual respect. They have know-how and amazing resources; they have energy and reason, they share the ability to appreciate both community and individual.
What will happen if these two countries ally? The rest of the Europe will have to follow and form a very strong, powerful and –important to stress – natural block – capable of challenging if not dominating any other natural blocks – be they Asian or North American.
There is a catch. What lies between Russia and Germany are Ukraine and Poland, two countries that compete for the title of 52 and 53 states of America. Russophobic and nationalistic Ukraine, along with Russophobic Poland and the Baltic States, is the wedge to deflect the natural attraction of Russia and Germany towards each other. ”

From February 17 on the site Ukrainian news agency “News” survey was conducted, in which it was proposed to answer the question: “Who do you trust most in Ukrainian politics?”
Almost a week in the vote was attended by over a thousand members, the answers were distributed as follows:
• President Petro Poroshenko – 2.5%;
• The prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and his government – about% 1,4;
• the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – 0% (4 total votes);
• None of this power, I do not believe it! -. 96%
On February 16, the Verkhovna Rada, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk made a report on the work of the Cabinet. Glad though and put the government a failing grade, I was unable to dismiss the Cabinet – not have this obstacle and ultra-low ratings of his head.

” We are writing today in accordance with article 83 of the Constitution immediately convene an extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada with a single item on the agenda – a resignation Yatsenyuk government for good reason and it has all the tools “. – Tymoshenko stressed.

extensive article re interview with someone who participated in Maidan shooting at the Berkyt, news of this slowly becoming more apparent

“Ivan bells tells us that gun and 75 cartridges to it, he received from the hands of an unknown activist, who himself was not ready to shoot. Galician took a machine gun from the indecisive owner and found it to good use – in the head killing two officers “Berkut”, he began to shoot at the other security officials “at the knee.”
“They killed the freedom. We also have the right weapons to defend their freedom, “- he explained the motive of his crime banderovets. Ivan bells repeated almost word for word what in January 2014 taught him Cardinal of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Lubomyr Husar : “When the government uses excessive force, people have the right to defend themselves with arms.”
In fact, the cardinal gave the order to kill the UGCC and issued a license. The order is made……With ovsem I recently recalled as December 2013, the Uniate priest Michael Arsenich urged parishioners to take up arms and kill all dissenters hang “with the enemy can be no other talk but talk bullets.” And I do not get tired to remind about this remarkable episode, by chance, became public.
Previously, I was ready to come to terms with the existence of the UGCC, to understand why so high authority Uniate bishops, in some cases even justify it. Still, this church has suffered from the authorities. And I did not want to believe that it can be directly involved in the killing of people. What can incite hatred, instead of vice versa, to pacify the passion and call for peace.
Yes, we all guessed, but the evidence but circumstantial, was not.
Now a causal link between the preaching of its priests and killing people first on the Maidan, and then in Mariupol, Odessa, in the Donbas and in other cities of Ukraine Russian set. This means that the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church – a cruel sect zombiruyuschaya his flock. Bandera ideological platform. It preach killers and would-be assassins hear them preaching. Then taking up the gun and shot in the back of their unarmed opponents.
Formulate clear: Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church – a church-killer.”

The super-idea of Maidan, to transform the Ukraine into a Catholic anti-Russian country has not been supported by the high authority of Galician Uniates – the Pope.
After the meeting of His Holiness Patriarch Kyrill with Pope Francis, the hope of making all the citizens of the Ukraine Catholics without exception, under the specious pretense of establishing a united local church, was ruined.
“The ‘Uniatism’ of earlier days, that brought one community together with another by separating it from its Church, is not a way to establish unity”, – the Primates stated in the joint declaration.
The Vatican virtually acknowledged its mistake, depriving the Uniate’s priests of its support in their desire to become the sole church in the Ukraine. That’s because such things are possible only at great cost, as proved by recent post-Maidan history. The Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church has always been ready to shed blood and had already shed it for a false target. But the Roman-Catholic Church does not want to be responsible for its Ukrainian brothers, as was stated in public.
The Primate of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, His Beatitude Svyatoslav, was forced to respond to the citizens of Galicia who once again felt deceived by the West.
“Beyond any doubt this text [referring to the text of the joint declaration] deeply disappointed many believers of our Church as well as other citizens of the Ukraine. Today, many of them appealed to me on this issue, saying they felt betrayed by the Vatican, disappointed by half-truths in this document and even by the fact that the Apostolic Capital indirectly supports Russia’s aggression against the Ukraine. Of course I understand these feelings; however I call upon our believers not to make a drama of this declaration, exaggerating its meaning for the church. There have been other similar statements and we will survive this one”.
His Beatitude Svyatoslav is cunning: there have been no such joint declarations for almost a thousand years. Fortunately, the two biggest apostolic churches managed to find common ground in relation to the most urgent issues, including those of the Uniates.
Rome understands that a united Ukraine can be only federative. There can only be two local churches – the Greek-Catholic in Galicia and the Orthodox of the Moscow Patriarchate in the rest of the territory.”
A good article about Ukrainian Church and religious organizations and about Ukrainian reaction to the meeting of Patriarch Kirill and Pope Francis in Havana.

Joint Declaration of Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia:
https://mospat.ru/en/2016/02/13/news128178/
The outrage in Kiev was caused by the points of the document concerning Ukraine. Those points (No. 25, 26 and 27) recognize the fallacy of creating the Greek-Catholic Church and are not supporting the Uniates aggressive stance towards the conflict in Donbass.
– 25. It is our hope that our meeting may also contribute to reconciliation wherever tensions exist between Greek Catholics and Orthodox. It is today clear that the past method of “uniatism”, understood as the union of one community to the other, separating it from its Church, is not the way to re–establish unity. Nonetheless, the ecclesial communities which emerged in these historical circumstances have the right to exist and to undertake all that is necessary to meet the spiritual needs of their faithful, while seeking to live in peace with their neighbours. Orthodox and Greek Catholics are in need of reconciliation and of mutually acceptable forms of co–existence.
– 26. We deplore the hostility in Ukraine that has already caused many victims, inflicted innumerable wounds on peaceful inhabitants and thrown society into a deep economic and humanitarian crisis. We invite all the parts involved in the conflict to prudence, to social solidarity and to action aimed at constructing peace. We invite our Churches in Ukraine to work towards social harmony, to refrain from taking part in the confrontation, and to not support any further development of the conflict.
– 27. It is our hope that the schism between the Orthodox faithful in Ukraine may be overcome through existing canonical norms, that all the Orthodox Christians of Ukraine may live in peace and harmony, and that the Catholic communities in the country may contribute to this, in such a way that our Christian brotherhood may become increasingly evident.

“Some people say that god created Ukrainians so we could make fun of them, but I don’t believe that ethnic Ukrainians themselves share this sentiment due to a complete absence of a sense of humor.”
-That is hard racism, and I advice against it. Ukrainians are a people under occupation living miserable lives they should be pitied, not mocked, mocking them is not only counter-efficient as it legitimizes pro-USA Ukraine propaganda that Russians are racist imperialists, and makes neutral Ukrainians turn to USA.
It was not so long ago Russians was in the same situation under Yeltsin.
Liz,
You wrote: “It was not so long ago Russians was in the same situation under Yeltsin.”
It’s a slanderous disinformation that you’re trying to propagate here.
Russians have never been in the same situation, not under Yeltsin, not ever, because Russians have never been fascists. Russian have never been Nazis. Russia was occupied and pillaged by the US in 90s, but Russians have never expressed any hate towards other nationalities. Don’t you dare to compare Russians to ethnic Ukrainians. Millions of Russians are now living and suffering in Ukraine under this filth:
“Alexander Podolsky
We were late for 20 years with our nationalism.
Now we will be saved only by Nazism.
Nationalism – Jews in embroidered shirts, and the Ukrainians in coffins.
Nazism – Ukrainians in black shirts, and Jews in coffins.

It’s too late, dear, “to love” only what is yours.
It’s time to begin also “to hate” what is others.

Are you saying that people who wrote this have sense of humor?
You wrote: “-That is hard racism, and I advice against it. ”
Are you a Ukrainian nationalists? You sound like a hardcore fascist. You call me a racist? What “race” would it be? Do you have a name for it?
Liz, only hardcore Ukrainian ideologists claim that ethnic Ukrainians are people of their own race. I got you, Liz. You are the follower of the fascist ideology that claims that Russians are Asians, and Ukrainians are Aryan race.
Ukrainians and Russians are of the same race! Whatever it is.
You are not of Aryan race, Liz, you are the death cult nuts.
By claiming that Ukrainians are of special race, you expose yourself as a hardcore delusional Ukrainian nationalist nut, probably from Canada. You people and your cannibalistic ideology influence on Canadian and American politicians is the reason why the world is on a brink on the total war. You’re hiding behind other nations’ backs and barking at Russians, because of your believes that this way you will bring the world to the end. Do you think you going to be safe in Canada and survive everyone?
You are all death cult worshipers. Your ultimate goal is the end of humanity. Your death cult ideology is a cancer on humanity.
Why wouldn’t you move to Ukraine back to your ethnic roots? Parade around with torches, and hang some Jews on trees?! Move back to people of “your race.” Everyone who defends Nazism of ethnic Ukrainians should live in Ukraine and share their fate.
Because, my word to you, you all will pay for this. You won’t get away and hide in Canada like your grandfathers did after the WWII.
You are not going to shut me up. To write satire about Nazis, to make fun of fascists is my God given right.
You do not make fun of nazists, you wrote racism towards an ethnic group, that does not serve any interest execpt american and the current Ukrainian regime.
“Some people say that god created Ukrainians so we could make fun of them, but I don’t believe that ethnic Ukrainians themselves share this sentiment due to a complete absence of a sense of humor.”
This is racism towards Ukrainians, what statements like that will do is recruit for the Ukrainian regime.
That is the funniest comment I have ever seen.. Imagine, all I did was ask the author not to use racism in his articles. As it only serves the interests of the enemy(Ukrainian regime/USA), and look what I am being accused of.
Just for the simply requesting the author do not attacking whole ethnic groups. I am being called “a fascist, death cult nut, whose utlimate goal is the end of thumanity who are also a Ukrainian nationalist hardcore fascist cult worshipper.”
“I got you, Liz. You are the follower of the fascist ideology”
“You are not of Aryan race, Liz, you are the death cult nuts.”
“You are all death cult worshipers. Your ultimate goal is the end of humanity.”
“You are not going to shut me up. To write satire about Nazis,”
“Are you a Ukrainian nationalists? You sound like a hardcore fascist. ”
That comment wins the internet award for most hiliarious or scary response.
Liz, you are either naive and ignorant or .. all the things Scott accused you of. You choose.
Well, you are not denying that you are a Ukrainian living in Canada.
You see, Liz, just one sentence that you wrote tells me everything about you and your ideology.
Because, no one else would ever say that a Russian criticizing Ukrainians is a “racist.” Because, Liz, racism is a negative reaction to a different race. Russians are people of Caucasian race. What race are Ukrainians? Liz! Share with us your Nazi wisdom.
Liz, to make fun of your own people is not racism. Your claims that Ukrainians are people of separate race from Russians is Nazism.
I know your fascist ideology, I read comments and articles of people like you every day.
You’ are the Bandera followers, it means that you are death-cult followers. Following this ideology your grandfathers murdered, burned alive millions of people in Poland and the Soviet Union, hiding behind the backs of German soldiers.
Now, your fellow Bandera followers are trying to murder millions more, hiding behind the backs of NATO members. All these while claiming that Ukrainians belong to some kind of special race.

Let me get this straight.
This is not racism.
“Some people say that god created Ukrainians so we could make fun of them, but I don’t believe that ethnic Ukrainians themselves share this sentiment due to a complete absence of a sense of humor.”
Saying that the Ukrainian ethnic group was created for the purpose of Russians to mock is not racism?
So if a zionist said that Palestinians was created so jews could mock them that would not be racist?
The level of hypocrisy, racism and censorship on this site has become outrageous
Liz,
or whatever your name is.
I explained you why what I said is not racism.
You continue your liable, slanderous, warped, malicious rants.
I don’t deserve your abuse!
I have done nothing wrong!
rac•ism
ˈrāˌsizəm/
noun
noun: racism
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior.

Russians and Ukrainians are people of the same race. That’s why I cannot be called racist towards Ukrainians.
By definition of this term.
Liz, you’re nonsensical accusations of racism were answered by Scott. I’ll add to his point: Ukrainians are brain damaged Russians for the most part. :)
Liz … your comments are now being sent to saker for his review … mod-hs
Scott,
Please cool down. Liz didn’t ‘show’ any ideology. It was you who misunderstood what she tried to express, and then without asking for an explanation buried her under a pile of silly accusations. To me it seems like some of your years in Ukraine have rubbed off on you. ;-)
Chill! Best regards from a pro-Russian cloggy living in frogland with a pro-Russian wife from central Ukraine.
“Those normal intelligent people who remain in this country are being ruled by a fascist mob.”
Some [ fill in this blank space, for example one might write “England” or “Germany” or “USA” ] might say the same thing…
Scott, you seem to be describing a “train wreck” in slow-motion.
Thanks!
In your article you mention:
“We, Ukrainians are feeding you, katsap [Ukr. slur for Russians]. Eat, eat, until your bellies explode.” He was drunk and later apologized.
Why did he said that. What makes Ukainians believe this. Is there any hisorical reason?
I am not Russian neither Ukrainian
I just try to understand.
Thank you.
In Soviet Union, Ukraina had the best conditions for agriculture – they were feeding half of the country back then.
“We, Ukrainians are feeding you, katsap [Ukr. slur for Russians]. Eat, eat, until your bellies explode”
This phrase is a tell all sign of a Ukrainian ultra-nationalist. It’s a religion of sort, that doesn’t have any reality behind it. It’s a cornerstone of their ideology. They worship food, in the most perverted way. Ethnic Ukrainians have always been rural agricultural people. Food is a measure of all things for them. They measure prosperity of any country by counting assortments of cheeses and sausages. Ukrainian ethnic nationalism is based on rejecting everything Russian. When questioned about their national identity, ethnic Ukrainians say that they are “not Russians.” They have a negative identification for their national identity. They identify themselves by rejecting something else.
For them saying, “We Ukrainians feed Russians.” It’s a way to say that Russians need Ukrainians, but Ukrainians don’t need Russians. Because food is everything that mater for them.
For example: A Ukraine village produces pork, a Russian village produces fur coats. Villagers exchange pork for fur coats. Everyone is happy. Right? No. Ukrainians are not happy, because fur coats are not food. The same with nuclear fuel for power stations, oil and gas, fertilizers, cars, weapons, pharmaceuticals, and so on. They say that they feed you, if you buy their produce and meat.
The ultimate expression of Ukro-mentality is to eat everything they produce.
There is a Soviet time anecdote that identify this mentality.
“A Russian, a Ukrainian and a Jew each got a wagon of apples. A Russian takes some apples for himself, and gives away the rest to friends and neighbors. A Jew also takes some of the apples for himself, and sells the rest. A Ukrainian takes some of the apples to himself, and bites into every one of the remaining applies, so no one else would have them.”
There is another saying that “A Ukrainian has burned down his own house to make his mother-in-law suffer.”
There is another saying, “God said to a Ukrainian, “You have been such a good man, I want to give you anything you want. But keep in mind, I will give twice as much to your neighbor. A Ukrainian responded, “Take out one of my eyes.”
When you hear them saying, “Ukraine is in desperate economic and social state because we lost the entire Russian market, but Russia has sanctions against it because of us, and it makes us happy.” This is the same kind of mentality.
Right now Ukrainians are blocking the long haul trucks from Russia to transit Ukrainian territory to Europe. In response, Russia blocked all of the Ukrainian goods to transit Russia’s territory to China, Kazakhstan and other countries. Russia now transports its goods via Belorussia and via its Baltic Sea ports directly to Germany, which makes it cheaper and faster. Also, Russian ports are growing at unprecedented speed, when the Baltic Dry Index is at all time low.
Ukrainian businesses are losing millions of dollars in fines, and lost transfer fees, but they keep it up because in their delusional minds they think they are hurting Russia.
Anyone doing business with ethnic Ukrainians must remember about their “special” mentality.
Right Sector plays Jazz ( Black people’s music) . I can see Bandera turning in his grave.

American mercenaries go to fight against Donbass
“The commander of the so-called “Georgian National Legion”, a member of the battalion “Kyiv Rus” Mamuka Mamulashvili announced the imminent arrival at the Donbass American “volunteers”. He also introduced the first US citizen who will be officially at war in Donbas -. Sniper Brian Christopher Boyandzhera
“According to my information, this is the first precedent when a US citizen is involved in the fighting and is representative of one of the Ukrainian battalion of the Georgian Legion We are waiting. .. even volunteers from the United States, which also will join us first group will be 10 people they will take a direct part in the fighting in eastern Ukraine Previously, they were instructors, but now will take part in hostilities. “- Mamulashvili said.
Sam” volunteer “Boyandzher to question the motives of arrival to Ukraine replied evasively.
” Ukraine – a US partner, took part in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan, “- said an American sniper, without specifying how it motivated him personally to come to fight in the Donbass.
According Boyandzhera previously given to 5 months of training snipers APU, in the US there is no legal prohibition to participate in combat operations on the territory of other countries, so the prosecution in his homeland, he is not afraid.
Recall, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has legalized foreign mercenaries in the APU, in October last year. Then the Ukrainian parliament approved the draft law “On military service pass the foreigners in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”

various other anna-news
The British edition of the Financial Times wrote that ridiculous farce in the Ukrainian government has shown that all the trials and losses, which had to go through to the Ukrainian people in recent years have been completely in vain.
“The collapse of the ruling coalition in Ukraine is the best fit at the idea that played out last week under the leadership of President Petro Poroshenko. Ukrainian history has come full circle. People returned to Ukraine 2006-2007, where “pro-Western” policy employed by internecine squabbles, the oligarchs are looking at mining, Tymoshenko is just waiting to occupy the vacant seat, and counterrevolutionaries demand new elections “, – the newspaper notes.”
“Ukraine and Russia have filed lawsuits to each other in the European arbitration courts of the total amount, which in February reached nearly 100 billion. Dollars. This writes Bloomberg.
According to the newspaper, Ukraine filed against Russian claims in the amount of about $ 63 billion.. In particular, the largest portion of funds Ukraine calls for so-called annexation of Crimea and about 27 bln. Dollars. Ukraine expects to receive from the Russian “Gazprom “explaining that not enough high-paying Ukrainian transit.”
Ukrainians are not only governed by a Nazi junta, but also cheated and used as bait in the Donbass front.
Apparently, it is common knowledge among the militias of Donetsk and Lugansk ( I know specifically that among the members of the Prizrak Brigade ) that all those gullible Ukrainians too old or too young to realize before it is too late that they are recruited to serve as cannon fodder, they are located on the front line where they were not allowed back, regardless of the ugly that things can get, by a second line of Nazis from Aidar and Azov battalions who are never exposed to the fire of the militias and contemptuously call components of this combat frontline “flesh.”
The situation of those in this frontline is so terrible and desperate than those who survive do so based on drugs or alcohol, while others simply immolate themselves as the only ticket out from such a nightmare, trapped between two enemy fires, compatriots in the Donbass and Aidar and Azov Nazi battalions .
If they thought some would realize that neither the Nazis in the second line nor the Nazis in the Kiev junta value their life at all, let alone their future, and if they thought a little more would realize that, therefore, their enemy and that of those comrades in the Donbass is the same, the Nazis who have taken over the Ukraine with the support of plunderer foreign powers. This will lead to do something for themselves, and at the same time for humanity, and to join those comrades in the Donbass in their legitimate struggle for their freedom and a hopeful future.
Thank you @Scott and @elsi
Interesting to read Scott’s cv, it now makes clear why we have some parallels (even though I personally think Nature is God and that religions were invented by evil men or maybe visitors for bloodshed and population control).
Was a very valuable (true, in contrast to others’) SitRep.
The only aspect I add: I personally knew very intelligent good Ukrainian people.
But they are all 40++ now. Maybe that’s the point, as you stated.
The youngsters have been watching western Oligarch TV for all of their lives, they never learnt to use their own brains.
The Ukraine crisis can never be solved without arresting the Nazis and Zios and without persecuting them in fair trials and issuing very fair penalties (like being attached to the train Kiev-Moscow). But before all of that makes any sense: Western Oligarch TV must be switched off. All over the Little RUS aka so called “Ukraine” and best globally.
Ideas??
Such a weapon to destroy electronic equiment was invented long ago. But more is needed. The stations need to be taken over not by brute force, but by Hollywood style soft power, slowly and thoroughly.
Martin,
you’re absolutely right saying “The only aspect I add: I personally knew very intelligent good Ukrainian people.
But they are all 40++ now. Maybe that’s the point, as you stated”
“A restless night in Donbass”
http://www.fort-russ.com/2016/02/a-restless-night-in-donbass.html
” To be brief, it has begun. Indeed the fighting in Donbass has resumed. More precisely, the firing of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Again, after dark, Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya feels the charm of the “truce”. If before the shelling on the outskirts of the city we were informed by daily summaries from Basurin, now we hear for ourselves that there is almost nothing left of the ceasefire.
On Defender of the Fatherland Day, the Ukrainian army began to congratulate the armed forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic in the evening of the 22nd February. At approximately 18:00 the attack on the Yasinovataya post, Oktyabrsky, the Airport began.(….)
As the fight in Donbass resumes, I guess also will do the usual trolling and misinformation.
Since here, in this blog, some elements of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada or elsewhere have tirelessly dedicated these last two years to slander Comrade Strelkov, spreading canards about his alleged nonexistent previous military experience and his alleged departure from the FSB for alleged psychological problems without presenting any document or information whith which to justify and substantiate these slanders, I present here, for those who independently from the path currently followed by Comrade Strelkov, continue to believe, like me, that he is a Hero of Novorussia, an extensive report released last week at Fort Russ, prefaced by Tatzhit (Mikhailovich?), where you can check not only his extensive and intense military experience but also that he left from the FSB with several awards and honors:

elsi,
Thank you for your links.
Without going into too much explanations, I have to tell you that Strelkov-Girkin is not what he claims he is.
I am writing about him in my book that, hopefully, will be published soon.
It’s a very big subject, but in brief, Girkin is not what he claims. Now, many things are becoming clear. When Crimea peacefully went to Russia after Maidan, that’s was all what Russia wanted. Not to let NATO bases in Crimea. That was the peaceful democratic process. No one in Russia wanted military actions in Ukraine. Not Putin, not the government, not the people.
To pour blood on the Russia’s victory. To push Russia into this bloody mess, they use this false flag attack. When Girkin went to Ukraine and got support by some mysterious armed groups and started armed actions again Ukrainian law enforcement and Ukrainian army, he acted against the law of the RF, against Putin’s advise, and he ignored all of the Russia’s government commands to stop his actions.
Girkin who says that he is Strelkov is an actor, not a military officer. President Putin is Russia’s Military Commander-in-Chief. Putin told Girkin to stop what he was doing and to come back home. Girkin ignored the command coming from the superior officer. What kind of military officer would ignore orders of his commander? Only the officer of an army of a different country.
Ask yourself, why the first volunteers from Russia who responded to Girkin’s call and came, were all slaughtered. All of them. They came to Girkin and they all were murdered.
He claimed that his actions were in response to the Right sector attacking Russians in Donbass. But, the same people were going back and forth between the groups of Ukro-nationalists and Strelkov-Girkin armed groups. There is no argument that many people were killed by the Nazis, but it was the Ukrainian law enforcement job to stop them, and not some partisans groups.
No one is allowed to take the law in their own hands, like Girkin and his people did.
Girkin acted not on the mandate of Russia’s government, but on the mandate of some foreign governments and special services.
He continues his anti-Putin and anti-government activities now in Russia by founding the January 25th Committee. “Комитет 25 января”.
He is a terrorist, and an agent provocateur. He should be in jail.
Doesnt that make him a perfect candidate to be the culprit of MH17?
Well, Scott, I have no way to check what you, and some others, say, as you do not provide any source which could prove these statements.
* “Girkin who says that he is Strelkov is an actor, not a military officer”: but in those photographs provided in the report from Fort Russ he seems the same person he states he is and seems like a military officer and graphic and other military documents are provided.
* “Putin told Girkin to stop what he was doing and to come back home”: When? How? What orders do you refer to? Through whom these orders were dispatched? Any of you have seen these orders from the Kremlin/Putin himself? At what moment of the Donbass conflict do you claim these orders were delivered? As I could know he came back home when he was ordered to do it.
*“There is no argument that many people were killed by the Nazis, but it was the Ukrainian law enforcement job to stop them, and not some partisans groups”. : Not only many people were killed, but still are killed nowadays, and since Ukrainian law enforcement did/do nothing against this is naturally human that people constitute themselves in partisans groups, militias, or whatever you may want to call them, to defend themselves and their lives from those vermin of nazis coming to exterminate them. What are you talking about, Scott? Was not a law enacted forbidding the Russian language? Was not the people of Donbass classified as subhumans by the Ukrainian junta in full? Was not said by that scumbag of Timoshenko that to nuke Donbass people was needed? Were not many, if not all, the Communists in the East of Ukraine harashed to the exile, and those who dared to stay there burned alive, killed or dissapeared? What was the people in Donbass supposed to do?
Honestly, you leave me perplexed??????
Anyway, I only wanted to bring here what seemed to me a very well documented report that refutes all those accusations expressed here during these last two years about Strelkov.
Of course, I have no means to test these informations, nor have any idea of what Strelkov have done since he left Donbass or is doing right now, but waiting for your book, or another well documented equivalent report to that linked, I can not but to take this into consideration also.
It turns out that I usually like to make my own oppinion about whatever issue, and probably more people would like to do the same.
elsi
Thanks. You have a fair point.
I cannot post here my entire book to document my statements.
Hopefully, I have enough proof to verify everything.
The fact that Girkin was the agent-provocateur doesn’t make the situation less horrible, but much of what said and done was done in order to provoke Russia to get into war. By spring 2014, it was clear that Russia won’t go into any war, and that’s when Girkin showed up.
He is a terrorist. Many innocent people had died because of him, that shouldn’t even be there. 1.5 million became refugees, because of his actions. He broke the laws of Russia, He was an organizer of a false flag attack, so the West could blame Russia’s government. He has been working against Russia from the very beginning.
More and more information now is becoming available.
“Honestly, you leave me perplexed”
I am sorry. Hopefully, I will give you enough information to get you un-perplexed, soon.
cheers
But, Scott, so now Girkin / Strelkov is responsible for the all the number of refugees and all deaths caused by the conflict in the Ukraine? It sounds like way too much for a poor devil without military experience and psychological problems, as has been described here all the time.
Then what about Nuland, McCain, Biden, the US ambassador in Kiev…..?
Then you say, in your Update, that Strelkov was hired by Rinat Akhmetov and that members of Pravyi Sektor have been among his men.
Look, I will not be the one to defend any oligarch, and precisely the same Rinat Akhmetov was my sticking point with the lovely Kat Kan, who claimed that he had started again Donbass mines so that the people could work (oh! thank you bwana!) and had a “humanitarian organization”, and I answered that the mines are of those who work them and just missing with what he has gained all these years, Akhmetov, not dedicate something to the humanitarian aid in a war situation.
Look, the profile you are drawing of Strelkov, rather fit me better with that dark character, Khodakovski, who was said to be in the militias but spying for Kiev. What about this guy? Why nobody talks about him any more, despite all those rumours?
Also, who killed Mozgovoiy, who always trusted Strelkov, and the other commanders, Batman and the others?
But, above all, I ask, where is Kolomoiskyi in all this new scenario? It was not he who funded the Pravyi Sektor? Were not Aidar and Azov his hired battalions? Were not the snipers on Maidan Square from this group?
What about the training camps in Poland and the rumored membership of these Nazis of Maidan to the stay-behind Gladio networks?
What about the other oligarchs in Ukraine who, generously, financed the Maidan, Pinchuk, Kuchma´s son-in, whom nobody talks about (why?), and the same Poroshenko?
Look, Scott, I’m glad you want to bring the truth to light and you’re writing a book, but beware to not rewrite history. But, I do not think that everything is the fault of Strelkov. It is impossible.
There were neo-Nazis and right-wing people in all the Donbass militias, including the Prizrak Brigade, Russian volunteers, Bosnians, Chechens, Frenchs and from elsewhere. Some, I guess, they were there as spies and then betray their former colleagues, but others who gave their lives fighting for the people there, these, for me, have earned the heaven. They may have been neo-Nazis or far-right guys, perhaps through being ignorants or ill informed, not everyone is as smart as some who populate this blog, some who seem they are in possession of the absolute truth, but does not seem a bad person that who leaves everything and gives its life for others, as that young man from the group of Limonov whose name I can not remember, but I can remember his face, and seemed to me that he looked like an angel.
Interesting interview with Alexander Dugin where he talks about Strelkov and the conflict in the Ukraine. Independently of that you may agree with him or not, I think you, Scott, or some others, could find it of interest:

elsi brings up very valid points
(independently of all other context regarding Girkin being false or not)
Scott,
all well and nice.
I cannot check it and to hear these claims from _you_ (I trust you) shocks me the more so.
Maybe you are right, then I apologize.
Nevertheless: Didn’t you forget one aspect in the dust of history???
Every “government” acting in Kiev after February 22 2014 is illegal, including the current one which was “elected” (with all opposition parties not permitted to take part in the election).
Moscow should have refused to deal with them from day 1!
This would have saved 1000’s of lives, had they acted quickly.
All the sanctions came anyway.
Also you forget how it started, didn’t you?
I only say false flag RS snipers on Maidan (Pogrom)
I only say bus from Kiev back to Crimea in late February after the Putsch in Kiev (Pogrom)
I only say May 2nd 2014 Odessa (Pogrom)
I only say Mariupol massacre (Pogrom)
i.t.d. …
You and I know that there are literally 100s of eye witness reports and original footage videos online (shall I really force readers to vief the pain again?)
What are you talking about? About RF’s interests and about Kiev’s interests?
What about the inhabitants who once used to inhabitate these areas?????
Even if Girkin is a RF citizen and is or was or is not or whatever an FSB agent, if you decided to follow the Kremlin’s official line, then do so fully. Because then how can anybody follow RF’s military orders? There aere no Russian soldiers in Ukraine.
Sorry if it sounds harsh, but it destroyed my little world again.
Hi, Martin
Thank you for your questions. If you have more questions, email me. I will address them.
From the very beginning I smelled a rat. Turned out I was right. In Russia, people are researching and putting together circumstances surrounding Strelkov-Girkin activities. Truth will be revealed.
Scott, I forgot to add:
Thousands of DonBass people participated in rallies supporting a return to the Soviet Union, or at least re-unification with RF.
And one more thing: Putin promised them, that he will protect them from any damage.
They trusted him.
I won’t say more.
Scott, just read about Комитет 25 января. Didn’t Provinin belong to Sputnik&Pogrom? There’s somewhere a video with Girkin thanking this association for a great amount of money he received…I hope you will find the time to elaborate a bit more on this Комитет 25 января. Am I reading this translation right?:
“Our position in relation to the current government: neutrality. The current government is sick and busy self-destruction. Impose her aides, we do not intend to. And make oneself dirty in it – too. She is now on the eyes turns into a walking dead man, killed himself the most economic idiocy of the last fifteen years. We can say, was continued Yeltsin’s policy of ruinous “syrevizatsiyu” Russian Federation, whose consequence we have today – a danger of social and economic collapse.
“Belolentochnye” – is not our allies. Behind them is raw and usury, the pro-Western “capital.” It can really ruin of Russia.
Our goal – to become the third force. That he could at a critical moment to save the country, freeing it from all the “dead-end branch of evolution.” At the time of a possible collapse of the fragments formed the previous administrative and law enforcement agencies, which will be slaughtered. For the victorious pro-Western liberals hate them, and the old system will be gone. These fragments can be contracted under the banner of the third force. In the end, the red in 1918 were able to attract the many military, administrative and scientific staff of the Russian Empire.
The first step in this direction – information interaction. Central inforesursom (while retaining all the best of our other resources) becomes the site of OD “New Russia”.
PS. Tried to put the quote in italics per instructions but I think I failed miserably, sorry for that.
Thanks, Anonymous
That’s what I am talking about, Strelkov-Girkin is an agent provocateur for the foreign governments, acting in Russia, like he had done in Ukraine. The same forces, money, people, and scenarios.
Only, in Russia they have zero chances. They are just being watched like lab rats. .

On how the issue of the famine in Ukraine, not pre-planned but the result of a poor planning by the Soviet government, is used to install the hatred between Russians and Ukrainians to the glory of Ukrainian nationalism.
Try to translate in full.
MUST READ, especially for Ukrainian people
“Holodomor: The smoke screen of the system”
https://culturaproletaria.wordpress.com/2016/02/22/holodomor-la-cortina-de-humo-del-sistema/
“The population losses in Ukraine today is several times the mortality caused by the famine of 1932-1933, but that the government is silent. Why? The answer to this question was given to us by well-known Ukrainian scientists during a “round table” organized by the Communist Party of Ukraine.
Opening the “round table”, the secretary of the CC of the PCU, Georgii Vladimirovich Buiko, said: “What is at stake is not the fact itself of hunger, which no one denies, but his performance as genocide.” Georgii Vladimirovich pointed out that “even though the word holodomor is rooted in the word Golog (famine in Ukrainian), the contents of both is substantially different. Holodomor (often in the Western media is used the term Holodomor because of its similarity to the holocaust word (NT)), it does not just mean a famine, but an ideological conception that acts on the consciousness of the masses, it is precisely conscious extermination of the Ukrainian people through famine. Therefore it is desirable to start seeing from what, where and how it was conceived the concept of Holodomor-genocide.
A special project of Harvard
About the origins of the term holodomor, Georgi Tkatchenko said “This concept emerged as an integral part of a special project of Harvard University which was used for psychological – informative distractions against the USSR . Some researchers attribute the authorship of the term holodomor to the American James Meiss. Although his works were not considered by the American scientific community, the architects of the Cold War notice him and obtained a teaching position at Harvard University. However, according to most researchers, the real perpetrators of exchange of concepts were Ukrainian nationalists of mass emigration from Galicia (region in southern Poland, western Ukraine). In particular, a certain Dmitro Solovei, who in 1944 fled Ukraine with the Germans. After exchanging German businessmen for Americans, published in 1953 in the US the book “Famine in Ukraine”, which ensures that the famine was an instrument of destruction of the Ukrainians. Later, the issue of “famine-genocide” was developed by the British diplomat and spy Robert Conquest. For his book “The Harvest of Sorrow” ( “Harvest of Sorrow” (1986)), he received money from the Ukrainian nationalists. Western scientists who analyzed this book show that the author used materials of the chronicles of the First World War and photographs of the famine that hit the region Povoljia (Volga Basin in southern Russia) in 1921 “.(….)
Goebbels and the SBU
(….) An interesting example that refutes the planned nature of the famine, was given by the head of department of ideology of the CC of the PCU, Vladimir Pustoboitov: “Throughout the war, Hitler’s Germany did not use practically the issue of “terror by the famine”, which, one might say, had taken advantage of in terms of propaganda. However, they knew the real information about it. The Consulate of Germany in Ukraine prepared, in those years, reports to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These documents are published. What is said about them is that the Soviet government did not calculate their resources well. He never mentioned, not even the possibility of a planned famine. These documents were known in Goebbels services and after analysis, they gave up on this issue”.(….)
Covering the tracks of the crime
(….) What is the reason for the concerted and systematic action to instill in the consciousness of the masses the idea of the Holodomor-genocide? Political scientist Viktor Pirojenko noted that “the greatest human losses caused by famine occurred in the population of Eastern Ukraine, which is today oriented towards friendship with Russia. Therefore, this concept is used primarily to discredit the common past between Russia and Ukraine and aims to involve Russia as the image of the enemy. ”
In addition, the power tries this way to cover the tracks of its crimes against the people. In this regard, Professor Mikhail Rodionov noted that “demographic losses in todays´s Ukraine far exceed mortality in the years of famine. The population of Ukraine decreased consistently. In some regions of this country, the population decreased by 20%. We are in the presence of a strategy to exterminate their own citizens policy. Looking postpone the time, later or earlier, will have to answer for the real genocide and not mythical, the system creates a smoke screen in the form of Holodomor-genocide. “
@elsi: Very correct and good that you point us to it, after it wasn’t mentioned for a long time.
On top of that: More Russians and ethnic Russians in DonBass died of it, than Galicians in Lwow.
Also: It would make a nice comparison to analyze the resulting effects of western economic cycles on the population of the 2nd, 3rd and 4rth worlds.
The Holodomur bs. (note the prefix) was a demagocical weapon created in insane western agiprop sculls (I forgot her name, I believe it was developed by a CIA lady in the 1970ties).
It was designed as ideological bombshell for the destruction of the Soviet Union.
How well it worked.
“the greatest human losses caused by famine occurred in the population of Eastern Ukraine, which is today oriented towards friendship with Russia. Therefore, this concept is used primarily to discredit the common past between Russia and Ukraine and aims to involve Russia as the image of the enemy. ”
Isnt that the part of Ukraina, where most of the migrants came from Russia during the Soviet times? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e4/Donetsk_dynamics.png
@esten:
Sorry, but this chart looks 200% fake to me.
Allegedly the majority of citizens 120 years ago were ethnic “Ukrainians” speaking “Ukrainian”.
These phantasy numbers must stem directly from Washing-Kiev-ton.
I bet in the next page of this they claim, Katherina the Great was not of German origin, but a genuine Ukrainian housewife.
Chart is taken from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donbass and data is based on official censuses in 1897, 1926, and 2001.
With the earliest assessment (120 years ago) comes footnote:
“As in many other census in the era of nationalism, the results reflect the views on national policy of the authorities. In this case, the population of Russian ethnicity was inflated. Thus for example, the number of Poles is underrepresented. Imperial officials classified the Ukrainian and Belarusian languages as belonging to Russian group and labeled those nationalities as Little Russian for Ukrainians and White Russian for Belarusians.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Empire_Census)
Therefore Ukrainians, even if called Little Russians back then, had considerable number of native language speakers in Donbass.
You fell victim to some propaganda trick.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Empire_Census#Census_results
2 Ukrainian (as “Little Russian”)
(there was no “Ukrainian” identity other than being a region of Russia, called Little Russia).
The term Ukraine aka borderland was in use much longer, but only used for a small region which has nothing to do with today’s borders. When the Soviet Republic of Ukraine was established, Lenin gave them DonBass and other large areas, because he had hoped to make them pro-Russian again (same as when Stalin gave the Poles old East-Germany). In both cases logic didn’t work out, as we now know. Some folks can never get enough!
It doesn’t sound like they could make a cross at “Ukrainian” in that Census, but rather at “Little Russian”. Now those labels got re-interpreted by some nationalists (who are blaming others for their nationalism).
I’m wondering why nobody jumps in and why the Wikipedia claims forarded by you can stand here for so long, unchallenged.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Russian_identity
“””””The Little Russian identity was a cultural, political, and ethnic self-identification[1] of the elite population of Ukraine[2] who aligned themselves as one of the constituent parts of the triune Russian nationality.[3][nb 1] The identity was not supported by the majority peasant population,[6] instead preferring the ethnonym Ruthenians (Rusyny, русини) or Rus’ people (Rus’kyi narod, руський народ). The Little Russian identity combined the cultures of imperial Russian and Cossack Hetmanate.[5]
The beginning of the development of the Little Russian identity in the Cossack Hetmanate dates back to the late 18th century.[5] A significant factor that promoted this process was the idea of equal national, social and religious rights for the elite of the Tsardom of Russia that had been denied in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.”””””
Later this Little Russian identity was renamed into Ukrainian and hijacked by enemies of Russia to split the area now after Lenins land gifts known as “Ukraine” off Russia. These enemies were my fellow Germans and Austro-Hungarians. Well done, mates!

You forgot, that Wikipedia always tunes up things until real facts are that much tweaked and distorted to support the western narrative? Next time you come with some news “”””Oh, boy! I found the PROOF that 9/11 was not an inside job!!! Yes, here: The Wikipedia site says so””””
Are you really unaware of this?
Or do you have other motives?
Don’t put too much weight into some small lines or colors in historic maps.
Then: Is somebody from New York belonging to a different national identity than USA???
Oh, boy, it has a separate color.
See the point? History isn’t that easy.
And no, I as German am not trying to distort historic facts.
I try to see the Ukraine question as neutrally as possible. And I have good friend in Ukraine. In Western Ukraine.
I am happy to hear that you have a friend and you are as neutral as possible. Otherwise the discussion would be pointless.
I totally agree that historical Little Russians are not the same as Ukrainians nowadays. But I hope you agree that 120 years ago there was a greater percentage of people living in Donbass and speaking dialect, which now is considered Ukrainian language. It is also historical fact that there was a lot of migration during the industrialization of Donbass region from entire Soviet Union, which probably helped to turn the region more Russian friendly after the famine.
Migration during industrialization, certainly.
But once again: Forget it that one of the west-russian dialects (in this case what later ended up as being called ukrainian dialect) was the predominantly spoken “language” there.
It was spoken by peasants in Halychina.
You make this bold claim and I shall quietly acknowledge it.
But if you think it is true, don’t you have any other primary sources to back that up?
The biggest nonsense I’ve ever heard.
If you want to convince me of Santa Claus, bring some proof onto the table.
Not this single re-interpreted census (where are its original records? How did the answer form look like? Which questions did it have?) with questions that are being “freely” interpreted differently today, than by thosen who back then actually participated in it.
To me it appears that you are not as unbiased and neutral, as myself.
Unbiased means: Open results. But you start the other way around by making this claim with the result you want and I shall simply accept it for granted.
BTW, did you ever have a Ukrainian-Russian dictionary and compare the words?
Saxony versus Bavaria versus Norther Germany use way more different “languages”, than Ukrainians versus BeloRUSians versus Ruthenians (latin for RUSians) versus Russians.
I smell that you are not interested in historic facts.
But you still have a chance to convince me that I’m wrong.
A lot of questions. I am pretty sure that the original records of that census are still present somewhere in the archives of Russia. It is good to have suspicious mind but it is a bit silly to question historically well known facts.
There is an example form uploaded into wikipedia. Question no. 12 is asking for the home language and there is explanations in the last page:(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Empire_Census#/media/File:Russian-census-1897-p1.jpg).
If you think that the documents are forged in English wikipedia, then please search for “Перепись населения Российской империи” and you can find Russian online databases.
@esten:
I must verify a few other records and maps before building myself a new picture (btw, everybody should do this regularily, but only a small fraction is capable of acknowledging that there is a general all-time necessity of doing so), and only then I will respond in detail.
Thanks for pointing to these documents
Interesting.
But let’s not forget how Germany would look like, if every dialect was the basis for nationhood: https://www.google.de/search?q=kleinstaaterei+deutschland&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwio7JS0u5PLAhVCD5oKHS-UBFEQsAQIKg&biw=1280&bih=853
Other example: Is Moldovian a language? What about Bosnian? (e.g. take whatever Serbian or Croation texts written in latin script, paste it into a machine-translator, pick “Bosnian” as src language and then find out how 100% identical they all are, apart from spoken but not written dialects [as in German language]).
Next example: Are Austrians ethnic Germans or ethnic Austrians?
Repeat this example with Bavarians or Saxonians.
One of these groups has an own nation state right now (while there were times, when all three of them had, versus other times when 0 had and all were part of Germany).
The distinction of “dialect” versus “language” is is much a politically (AB-)used, instrumented and exploited “utility” just as the question of citizenship, nationality and nationhood.
Only think of Bosnia or Moldova. What about Scotland?
I want back the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, the unity of all slavic tribes governed by Moscow.
It worked quite well until 1953, despite WW2 and even though the West armed Hitler to destroy the Soviet Union and later continued that game in a multilayered approach until this minute.
How about Brazilians talking Portugese:)? Defining a nation is a bit more than just a language. Ukrainians and Russians are very similar in culture, language, religion and so on – therefore all these recent events are a real tragedy and it will take decades until the relationships between these two countries normalize again. However Ukraina is an independent country and Russia should acknowledge that fact.
Soviet Union is fine as long as all tribes want to be united. Some of the non-slavic nations from the former Soviet Union are not too keen on these memories.
@ esten on February 25, 2016 · at 6:57 pm UTC
Portugal vs. Brazil: Haha! For good reasons I only compared “regions” which are located bordering one anither and which have historically been united as a single nation.
It is not true that I only made national identity dependent of the mother tongue alone.
Therefore I did not mention USA vs. UK, Canada (aka, British Nort-Merica”) vs. UK, Australia vs. UK and all along the nations and globe.
No – rather than coming with such apples vs. strawberries comparisions, what about that then:
Ukraine versus formerly polish territories
Ukraine versus fomerly Hungarian territories
USA’s brutally __annexed__ areas (see google, such as California and 10 more) versus Mexico.
or Hawai versus USA … ??
No, Ukraine versus Russia is much more like West-Germany versus East-Germany historically. Ukraine is no more a nation than that.
And if you go for intl. law and fairness: The destruction of the Soviet UNion like that of Yugoslavia was clearly a 1000 times more against intl. law and against their respective own constitutions. If you ask justice, their dissolution is vaoid and therefore the only problem justice has is to establish order on the ground.
Thanks Scott… for an interesting report and providing some details of your own story.
Your book promises to drop a few bomb shells… hope you have a good lawyer to give advice before it is published as would hate to hear you are in trouble by exposing stuff.
Take care.
Ukraine is doing just fine:
True, for a failed,nazi-ridden,state its doing just fine. It’s quite easy,by reading all the news,to see the very “fine” state they are in.
Some interesting data came up today.
So, in Ukraine according to Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, President Petro Poroshenko, and other high-ranking politicians, the reforms are in full swing. That bloody and bad government “of the predecessors“ has been toppled, and for the second year, Ukraine is striding confidently into European society.
But here it is: judging by the data provided by the main department of Ukraine’s Ministry of the Interior to one of the Ukrainian journalists, today in Ukraine there is now a high probability of dying at the hands of a robber, or there might be a veteran of the ATO who is pleased to play with some sort of trophy, perhaps a grenade unlawfully removed from the front, or a gun, or the like. Thus, the number of suicides in March 2015, was twice the number in March 2013. Number of homicides for March, 2014 was 9; in March 2015 it was 74, that is to say homicides went up by a factor of 8. Cases of theft in March 2014 – 381, in March 2015, – 1549 — up by a factor of four! Car theft in March 2013 – 17 cases, in March 2014 – already 47, and in March 2015, 46. And cases of fraud in the first three months of 2015 are double the number for the first six months of 2014.
I have found it interesting to look at the statistics for all of 2015 and compare them with the first months of 2016. Further, if we take into account that in the current level of corruption, falsification has been seeping literally into everything, starting with the media and ending with the official papers, statistics, etc. the crime picture is even worse.
On the whole of the Soviet Union the number of police officers was approximately 630 thousand, which is an average of 435 people per police officer. In Ukraine, this figure is 225 per police officer (with the number of 45 million people.).
Well, after viewing these figures I personally do not understand how we can say that Ukraine is “a country of free people,” and a “European-law government,” as do not only the politicians, but also the ordinary citizens that the government deliberately misleads.
People, they’re going to mug you in broad daylight (though the government, is already doing it) to buy a loaf of bread, but you will just keep on dreaming of a visa-free regime?
PS It would be interesting to look at the numbers in the level of crime in the EU before and after the migration crisis.

Hello. I resent you calling this column “Ukraine” sitrep. Why do you not do a “Donbass” sitrep instead? I simply never read this column, because I strongly sympathize with the people of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics. It hurts to see “Ukraine”, home of the post-coup genocidal Kiev regime, so emphasized in your title.
+1
Maybe Scott does so to stay committed to the M2 terms and international law (as the Kremlin’s official language wants it).
But if I was a DonBass resident it would hurt me like hell if somebody would still call me “Ukrainian”.
However – the term Ukraine SitRep is nevertheless ok, because he covers also many parts of Western Ukraine.
But you are right, that DonBass should get sorted out of the Ukraine SitReps, and it should perhaps be published as two separate versions.

In the social network Ukrainian blogger posted pictures that may prove the fact of using by Kiev junta radioactive military vehicles from the Chernobyl zone.
The independent Ukrainian blogger from city Lviv wrote week ago that old Soviet military equipment from the Chernobyl zone has disappeared. He published photo from Google maps of that cemetery for military equipment, the warehouse under the open sky is empty. These vehicles were used to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl accident, due to radioactive contamination were left in the exclusion zone of Chernobyl.
Since the Kiev junta and its owners consciously and obviously push the population of Ukraine into civil war in order to reduce the population of Ukraine. That is, the use of radioactive vehicles from the Chernobyl zone is a logical action. Repairers and soldiers will receive the average dose of radiation and will die within 5-10 years from cancer and other radiation diseases.
Reliably confirm this fact, we can’t, but the probability is very high.
Third photo from the publication proves the use of the Kiev junta outdated Soviet machinery. This is museum light reconnaissance armored personnel carrier, to which was attached protection against shaped-charge projectiles.

Ukrainian government does not have enough experience in governing the country. To such conclusions came in Kiev and Washington have agreed on a proposal to create a special working group. Its main point is that it will depend on the US Congress.
Congressmen Marcy Kaptur and Sandor Levin will now advise the Ukrainian deputies, how to carry out domestic and foreign policy. This decision was taken after the first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Andrei Paruby returned from the United States.
This shows that Washington wants to get even more influence on Kiev to in the “manual” control of Ukrainian policy through its Congress. Minister of Economic Development Yaresko, which is a citizen of the United States, the White House is no longer enough. He wants to lead the political process already among the Ukrainian parliament.
The principle is that the working group is that the US Congress could directly influence decisions in the Verkhovna Rada. It is hard to imagine a country that voluntarily gave control of his government is not even under the supervision of, and under the specific control of another State. Similarly, the act only colonies and dominions, de facto deprived of their sovereignty. However, in the Ukrainian press event it is displayed only in a positive way. As if the US Congress more than worry about the dilapidated country in Eastern Europe than in their home states, where they have chosen.
Creating a joint working group of the Verkhovna Rada and the US Congress – is the next stage of colonization of Ukraine and a prerequisite for its further economic and political decline. Now even the next elections in the country have little impact on the overall situation. Source

Ukraine on the verge of collapse. New wave of violence and IMF pulling out!
.
on: February 29, 2016
Two years have passed since Yanukovich was deposed and, as it turns out, another ruthless clan of oligarchs has taken power. No wonder then that Ukraine is heading for a new wave of violence and chaos. Oligarchs are fighting each other, the IMF is pulling out of the country, officials issue laws and regulations only to see them repealed within a day or two by others, and raided European companies are leaving the country after being robbed by the so-called pro-Brussels oligarchic elite. It was evident from the beginning that the US and NATO-sponsored power transition was doomed to fail. Prime Minister Yatsenyuk made no secret on his personal website about his principal partners, NATO and Victor Pinchuk’s foundation. Victor Pinchuk is a link between the Ukraine corrupt oligarchic establishment and the Western political elite. In 2005, the BBC depicted him as a paragon of Ukraine’s kleptocracy:
“Ukraine’s largest steel mill has been bought by Mittal Steel for $4.8bn (£2.7bn) after an earlier sale was annulled amid corruption allegations. The Kryvorizhstal mill was originally sold to the son-in-law (Mr. Pinchuck) of former President Leonid Kuchma for $800m. It was one of the scandals that sparked the Orange Revolution and propelled President Viktor Yushchenko into power.”)
untitled (38)
Directly after the power transition, European leaders understood that the situation in the Ukraine was unmanageable, which we know from a confidential telephone conversation between Minister Paet (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia) and Mrs. Ashton (High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy) that became public. Both politicians understood that the Maidan protesters had no trust in the politicians who formed the new coalition. Mr Paet said, “there is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind snipers it was not Yanukovich, but it was somebody from the new coalition.” Their conversation makes it clear that both European politicians understood that, contrary to the official statements coming from Brussels, Europe has no solution for Ukraine’s problems and no trust in its new leaders.
Petro Poroshenko, one of the oligarchs, became the fifth president. In line with his predecessors, he had amassed an astonishing personal wealth by mixing politics and business on behalf of the Ukraine population. He started his career under the notorious President Kuchma and served as a minister under deposed President Victor Yanukovich. One can hardly imagine a more troubled new president for a country that has to reform itself and get rid of corruption.
In 2014 Brian Bonner, the Kyivpost chief editor, wrote: “Allowing prosecution of Kuchma (concerning the murder of a journalist) is acid test for whether Poroshenko will put national interests above his own.”. Asking Poroshenko to “kill” his close friend and crony, former President Kuchma and the father-in-law of the powerful Pinchuk is a dramatic plea by the chief editor aimed at forcing President Poroshenko to show whose side he takes. Poroshenko’s answer came quickly: he rewarded Kuchma with a top position in the Minsk negation team.
Within months after the power transition, investigative journalist Tetiana Chornovol, who lead an anti-graft body, quit, calling her time in the government “useless” because there was no political will to conduct “a full-scale war” on corruption. In the two years that followed rumour of ongoing corruption has not ceased. For Poroshenko and his fellow oligarchs, the biggest threat is not Putin and the separatists in the East, but the pro-Ukraine militia that only on paper were merged with the Ukraine army.
The militia regards the Western-backed oligarchs as the second biggest threat to the Ukrainian nation. We believe the oligarchs are the primary cause of the rot in Ukraine’s government. Meanwhile, the Brussels elite is trying to sell the Ukraine 2014 power grab and the resultant association treaty as a way to help Ukraine to overcome its political corruption.
The Dutch government wrote in its communique to its citizens: “This cooperation gives Ukraine a chance for a better future. The country wants to become a genuine democracy, without corruption and with a wealthy population. The European association treaty is the foundation for the national reforms.” Maybe this is the intention of many naive European politicians, it is not the intention of the Ukrainian elite who under Poroshenko consolidate their power. The Swiss-based company Swissport, a leading airport service company, and its French investors learned this the hard way.
In 2012 the UK-based logistic website the “theloadstar” wrote: “Swissport, the Swiss ground handler stands to lose some $8m in assets in the Ukraine while other foreign investors could shun Ukraine, following an attempt to forcibly strip the company of its majority stake in Swissport Ukraine.
In a move alleged to be ‘corporate raiding’, an increasingly common phenomenon in the country, 30% shareholder of Swissport Ukraine, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), has claimed that Swissport International (SPI) violated its minority rights – a “baseless” allegation, according to the handler. During interim court proceedings the judges were changed twice – at the very last minute – before the hearings.”
During the reign of Yanukovich, Kolomoisky (Poroshenko ally) try to strip Swissport from it assets. It did so by forcing the company to sell its multi-million majority stake for 400.000 Euro, using the corrupt Ukraine administration and the justice system. We cannot blame the company that it believed its problem was solved in 2014. The Washington and Brussels elite presented the new Kiev government as a tool in the fight against inherited Ukrainian corruption. During 2014 Swissport seems to have fought a successful battle against injustice. But at the end of 2014, the highest judicial body in Ukraine ruled that the company had to sell its multi-million investment to Kolomoisky for 400.000 dollars. The company said that it never received the 400.000 Euro from Mr. Kolomysky.
Ihor Kolomoiskyi is the oligarch President Poroshenko installed as governor of Dnepropetrovsk. That Kolomoisky enjoyed the full protection of Poroshenko became apparent as he was not prosecuted after he had orchestrated an armed raid on UkrTransNafta Ukraine state-owned oil firm. To spare President Poroshenko the embarrassment, Kolomoyskyi offered his resignation.
Ihor Kolomoiskyi is the founder of the Brussels-based European Jewish Parliament that served to increase his influence in Brussels. A worrisome sign that Ukraine’s political rot is spreading into the European Union.
Swissport raid and forceful eviction from Ukraine was an embarrassment for those who try to uphold the illusion Ukraine was in the process of becoming a genuine democracy free of corruption . It could hardly be a surprise that a year after Kyivpost publication that Swissport had left Ukraine, Aivaras Abromavi?ius, Minister of Economics in Poroshenko’s cabinet and one of Washington’s principal allies in Kiev resigned.
After Abromavicius it was Deputy Prosecutor General that resigns due to unstoppable corruption. 15 February Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaliy Kasko wrote in his resignation letter:
“…This desire is based on the fact that the current leadership of the prosecutor’s office has once and for all turned it into a body where corruption dominates, and corrupt schemes are covered up. Any attempts to change this situation at the prosecutor’s office are immediately and demonstratively persecuted.
Lawlessness, not the law, rules here…..”
A day later General Prosecutor Victor Shokin, who analysts say, is an ally of President Poroshenko, has to quit. Viktor Shokin agrees to step down after President Poroshenko asked him to leave office Western leaders and reform-minded Ukrainian officials have long been calling for Shokin’s resignation.
At the same time, Ukraine headed for a standoff between its two most powerful politicians after Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk had defied President Petro Poroshenko’s call for his resignation and defeated a no-confidence motion in parliament.
The current chaos in Kiev makes it for the IMF extremely hard to keep Ukraine funded. Brazil’s IMF Director already in 2014 urged not to bend rules for Ukraine. Ukraine had failed the IMF twice before. There is now a sense of panic in Kiev, and so Ukraine leaders start to issue opposite orders. The Central Bank Governor’s ban on money exchange was repealed immediately by Yatsenyuk.
The situation of the population deteriorates rapidly as Ukraine’s currency devalues fast and bond yields spike. Companies start to understand that direct investment can disappear overnight as raided foreign companies are forced to leave the country. Protesters take over Hotels in Kyiv and return to Maidan to demand the resignation of the Ukraine rulers who came to power with the support of Washington and Brussels. Yatsenyuk now becomes a liability for its partner NATO.
It is a just matter of time before the Ukraine nationalistic militias will take power, resulting in a definite split of the country. Poroshenko can postpone the people final verdict by reviving the war in the east, but in the end, he can not escape the day of reckoning.

Moskal earlier said that if the local authorities did not change Soviet names of the streets, he would start renaming them himself “so that people become ashamed of living there.”
“For example, all Red Army streets will become Red Light streets,” he said.
A law banning Communist propaganda and symbols was adopted in Ukraine last year.

Terminally Ill Ukrainians Protest Against the Government of Yatsenyuk
Translated by Ollie Richardson for Fort Russ
1st March, 2016
Rusvesna
On March 1st, at the government building of Ukraine, a protest of patients suffering from serious illnesses took place. The desperate people are demanding, from the Cabinet of Yatsenyuk, adequate funding to support incurable patients.
Outside the government building were ill people with cancer, AIDS, hepatitis, and tuberculosis. People threw medical records of patients to symbolize, in their opinion, them being written off long by the Cabinet, holding appropriate placards.
The organizers claim that Yatsenyuk’s government has underfunded critically ill Ukrainians by ₴4 bn.
On the 1st of March, at the request of the parliamentary Committee, the Cabinet had to reallocate funds and thus undertake ₴8 bn for the funding of these critically ill Ukrainians, but now in the Treasury there is only 4 billion
According to organizers, every day, the lack of medicine kills about 1000 seriously ill Ukrainians. The protesters hope to gain full funding from the government.”

Mikhail Saakashvili has refused to comply with the standards of conduct of civil servants, who recently received the Cabinet of Ukraine.
According to the Odessa area, he intends to “immediately violate this ordinance, because it is bad.” According to Saakashvili, such initiatives have already led to a change of power in the country two years ago.
Earlier, the Cabinet promulgated the standards of ethical conduct for civil servants. Now the “servants” should refrain from public criticism of the authorities and the use of state property for personal gain.
Now state employees must: behave decently, to be loyal, to adhere to political neutrality, transparency and accountability. Cabinet also called on civil servants to be virtuous. That is not to use government property for personal gain.”

“You can work as much as necessary, and to convince people in the Congress, research centers, and other get-togethers to provide support for Ukraine, but really the last word for the president. Today, even a cheap locked support of $ 250 million, of which $ 50 million is provided for military needs. The reasons known only to the White House, “- wrote on his Facebook page the center’s director of Eastern European prospects in Washington Nikolai Vorobiev.
According to him, Ukraine needs to survive “… until the next US president, who / which will be more stringent in international politics.” Therefore, in the next 10 months should be increased readiness of Ukraine, – said Vorobyov.
But as for going wild Ukrainian corruption due to which allegedly Kiev do not want financial help neither the European Union nor the United States, it is a myth to the gullible. As an example, a Washington analyst leads Iraq and Afghanistan. There, according to experts, the level of corruption is not less than in Ukraine, but the financial and military aid to receives many times more than the power evromaydanschikov.”

The head of the World Bank in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Qimiao Fan in an interview with “Today” said that one of the conditions of its bank for regular loans is to increase the retirement age. The same requirement put forward, by the way, and the International Monetary Fund. For these financial institutions it does not matter that Ukraine has taken in 2015 among 121 countries on the United Nations life expectancy and in fact Ukrainian pensioners will have to die at the labor office. Even less they care about youth unemployment.
“I think gradually the retirement age is necessary, but in the short term, there are other measures that should be taken to release the pension system on a more sustainable path of development”, – he said.
C. Fan expressed confidence that the problem of the Ukrainian pension system in the first place, is that it covers a lot of people that do not have enough resources. “If I’m not mistaken, we are talking about 12 million people. This is a huge number. And the average pension level is incredibly low. Therefore, today Ukrainian system does not perform the function of providing adequate support to people who retire. That is, first of all, there is a problem covering (all retired) “, – he said.
The head of the World Bank also drew attention to the fact that Ukraine has a lot of different kinds of pensions. “There is a problem of indexation of pensions, which occurs randomly indexing rules are not clearly spelled out, and indeed the indexing occurs spontaneously It does not provide adequate and timely payments, complicating the system itself is why we need to look at the problem of pension reform in the complex…” – Emphasizes W .Fan.”

The leader of public movement “Ukrainian choice” Victor Medvedchuk commented on the statement Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk about the need to sell 1 million acres of public land: -. “The authorities launched the large-scale sale of land Application premiere produced in society bombshell” I consider it necessary to open,.. transparent auction to sell 1 million hectares of state-owned land, which is now in the shadow turnover and corrupt “, – said Yatsenyuk As always pathetic and outrageous categorically not only this initiative is the so-called people’s prime minister, and his outrageous style of communication with the people…
It turns out that the prime minister, the level of support which is close to zero, on behalf of the people decides to sell a strategic resource of the country. Yatsenyuk, it turns out, “he finds it necessary” to do so. But what about the millions of Ukrainian citizens, landowners, farmers, villagers?
“Front-line soldiers” from the prime minister’s force immediately rushed to defend the position of the head of the Cabinet: they say, it’s not selling and auction – open and transparent, say, land reform must continue, he says, it will attract investors to Ukraine. But such, I may say, the arguments do not stand up to scrutiny.”

Kiev plans to close express hairdressers that are situated in improperly equipped areas. This decision was made due to the lack of sanitary conditions in such enterprises. Also, there is a risk of spread of hepatitis and other diseases in these hairdressers.
The Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Kiev Oleg Ruban pointed out that in Ukraine there is observed a silent epidemic of viral hepatitis which is ‘worse than AIDS and HIV infection’.
‘Today we are observing a hidden epidemic of viral hepatitis. It is chronic viral hepatitis B and C among the population of Ukraine and Kiev. Last year alone we registered the rates doubled. This is due not only to hairdressers,’ said Ruban.
According to him, there were checked salons in the Desnyansky and Dnieprovsky districts of Kiev after complaints of citizens associating their cases of hepatitis with a visit of these saloons.
‘Last year 500 cases of hepatitis were reported in Kiev. These are different types of hepatitis. They are very difficult to treat, viral hepatitis is also called a “tender murderer”. The first manifestations of the disease may occur only 5-10 years after infection. This is already chronic hepatitis which is not amenable to treatment,’ said Ruban.

February 23, 2016 in the Verkhovna Rada was registered a bill (number 4128) on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” (with respect to changes in the religious communities of subordination). The media discussed in this decision is ambiguous, as public officials, focused on “Kiev Patriarchate”, want to legalize the process of capturing the temples of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate. In practice – split action will have legal force, and it will lead to the destruction of the UOC MP in the territory of the collapsed and mired in neo-Nazism Ukraine.
Creating a “one church” in Filaret plan
Recently, “the patriarch” Filaret expressed the belief that the creation of so-called “one church” in Ukraine will take place by moving communities under the jurisdiction of the “Kiev Patriarchate”. That is, he claimed, from “the bottom” simple believers. Rate has been made of the fact that the faithful, in virtue of the political situation, headlong rush to change the confessional subordination. And this process is not only held, but also got the resistance in society. “Crusade” Filaret, obviously, did not take place, because instead of the projected three hundred communities, “Kiev Patriarchate” hook-crook could entice only about 40 a minute. Today, therefore, we propose another scenario of transition communities. More precisely, the existing experience of “translation” of the UOC-MP churches in the so-called “UOC-KP” want to legalize.
Basically similar incidents occur in the West of Ukraine. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the alleged in these regions the majority of the population supports the “Kiev Patriarchate”. But in reality, it is not so. Therefore, in those parishes where there are citizens who are favorably disposed towards the so-called “UOC-KP” can be by a majority vote (the vote but whom? Believers, who are actively involved in the life of the church, the so-called “aliens”?) To change the jurisdictional affiliation. This aspect of the comments the chairman of the Legal Department of the UOC MP, Archpriest Alexander Bach: “It is also not clear what can be considered by the words” part in religious life “? It’s enough to attend services, or just to take part in educational activities organized by the religious community, and maybe enough to come and spend the Passover? “.
The second important aspect is the issue of the legal component for the community. “Secondly, the content of the proposed rules, it follows that” at a meeting of citizens belonging to a religious community “, may be present and other persons who do not belong to a religious community, but the majority may consent to the change of the statutes of the religious community.”

According to calculations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the cost of living today is 1611 USD. 48 cents, or $ 60. This, according to the government “bean”, enough to live an ordinary Ukrainians. Analysts calculated that this basket includes, for example, 60 grams of pork and 19 grams a day of fish. This “generous” portions are not even enough to feed the cat. If to take into account non-food products, it is necessary to buy a Ukrainian pants every four years, the sweater – once every three years, a pair of boots every five years.
If we take the figures as a whole, on the power of this amount is given about 880 hryvnia on non-food products – 275 hryvnia. On the services and did a ridiculous amount. For example, for water supply – 25 hryvnia per month, which means that such a luxury as a wash, this amount is not already included. In winter, Ukrainians put to sit in the cold, since the gas, according to the norms of the Cabinet, it should be enough for 92 hryvnia per month. And the average Ukrainian has to sit in the dark, as the light he has to spend 13 hryvnia 46 kopecks. Candles in the consumer basket, alas, are not provided.
How to live in a country of victorious Maidan pensioners with an income of one thousand hryvnia, or people receiving the minimum wage, which is less than $ 60, we can only guess. Experts believe that the real cost of living today in Ukraine about 7000 hryvnia per month ($ 260). By the way, according to UN standards, where people live on less than $ 5 a day – he lives under the poverty line. Market Basket Ukrainians allows parade “in poverty” as much as 12 days a month, and the rest 18 days – to wallow in abject poverty!”

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Sergey Bilan. According to him, today, 12 million people are employed. But of these, only 3 million work officially and receive a full salary. Another 3 million people – a self-employed people, the real income which can not be verified. 7 million people receive part of their salary in an envelope, and the budget does not receive legal means.
Kiev officer shall be guilty of such a situation the former, “domaydannuyu” power to create a system in which profitable to conceal income. In the past year, he said Bilan, 102 thousand workers were put out of the shadows. And laments the fact that the law allows large enterprises to legally avoid taxes, concluding contracts with small businesses that are on the simplified taxation system.
Analysts believe that the reason for the prosperity of the shadow economy in Ukraine is imperfect tax legislation and rising energy prices. If today all the companies to withdraw from the shadows, most of them simply will not survive. Two years for a new power – enough time to create the country’s transparent tax system. By the way, that before Maidan level of shadow economy is estimated at 35%. Now – a marked increase. Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Pavel Pogiba assesses the current level of the shadow economy by 50 to 70%.”
