Since Maidan in Kiev two years ago, American life has become a reality show from the Discovery channel. Every day Americans are discovering something new. For example, this January they discovered that the US stock market is full of hot air, and that the world has turned nervous and angry. Also they have discovered that they have bolshoy (big) problem getting around the Persian Gulf. Which has been, if you think like a true American, their backyard. You see, if you think like an American, the entire world is your backyard and your outhouse.
Remember how in spring 2014, the NATO-backed junta started hunting the Russians in Ukraine, and how people were found hanged on the trees because they were Russian? Remember, how the junta’s tanks moved against civilians in Donbass and people were trying to stop tanks with their bare hands? Russians had called for Europe to stop the spread of fascism in Ukraine. European politicians and its media furiously denied the allegations, and to prove the absence of fascism in Ukraine, massacred hundreds of the Russians in Odessa and Mariupol. It was highly publicized as the heroic fight against “Russian aggression.” Remember?
Among the people who were burned in the Labor Union building in a beautiful port of Odessa were a local poet, a pregnant woman, several children and a teen student of Odessa University, whose mother, a professor of the same university was trying, to no avail, to save him in the midst of murderous crowd bused from Kiev and the Western parts of Ukraine.
Back then Russia promised to take revenge and to turn the life of the masters of our universe, yankees*, into a living hell.
*[According to the Urban Dictionary, “yanky”: American wind sack, worst type of Human on the planet, lives with head inserted completely up his own rectum, there all very stupid…]
We are not psychotic murderers like you, Russia said to the West. We won’t kill your women and children. We will just put the end to your life on this planet as you know it. After we are done, no one, including your Founding Fathers, will be able to recognize you. The West ignored this promise, because the West never listens to what Russians have to say.
On Friday January 15th, 2016 less than 24 hours after the meeting between Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry in Zurich on January 20, 2016 was announced, and just a day before the sanctions on Iran were scheduled to be lifted, a plane carrying Victoria Nuland, an Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, took a sudden turn on its way from Vilnius to Berlin and landed on a Russian airbase near Kaliningrad. Earlier Nuland out of blue called Kremlin and urgently demanded that president Putin meet with her personally. Putin refused to see her, but sent his “influential” assistant Surkov to see what she wanted.
Surkov had arrived at Kaliningrad on Thursday January 14th. Nuland’s plane landed on the military base near Kaliningrad on Friday January 15th. Surkov and Nuland had a four hour talk behind closed doors. No one knows what exactly they talked about. The officially released version states that they talked about the implementation of the Minsk II agreement, the changes in Ukraine’s constitution, and the upcoming elections in Donetsk and Lugansk People’s republics.
Unofficial versions vary.
It’s being reported by some experts from the French AgoraVox who sincerely think that Nuland came to “prevent an inevitable NATO strike on Russia,” and that she came in attempt to “prevent world war.”
According to the witnesses of Nuland’s arrival, she was in and “extremely agitated” state of mind. She was repeating over and over: “War is coming! War is at our gates!” She was also heard saying that Russia “has not fulfilled its promises,” and now “everybody is going to pay for this.”
Also being reported that she has been very agitated recently because Barack Obama is “cleaning” the White House and that she herself might be on a chopping block.
The same day, Friday January 15th at 16:20PM Putin held an emergency briefing session with permanent members of the Security Council in his Novo-Ogaryovo residence.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
The agenda covered unspecified current domestic and international matters.
And what? And nothing…
What had propelled Vikki Nuland, a Washington unelected apparatchik, whose life long efforts are universally understood as being directed towards the destruction of Russia, what propelled her to rush to warn Russia about the alleged imminent NATO strike? Shouldn’t she keep her mouth shut until the happy day of the NATO nukes taking a flight into the country that Nuland hates with so much vigor?
To find an answer to this question we have to go way way back.
On Tuesday January 12th, 2016 CNN first reported Jane Psaki’s announcement about “Iran holding 10 US sailors.”
The reasons for the US marines to enter tightly guarded waters around Iran’s military base on the Farsi Island were confusingly reported as follows: ” they drifted into Iranian waters, they had veered off course before one of the boats experienced a mechanical breakdown, the Navy lost communication with the boats.”
Two boats with marines were released back into the wild after approximately 15 hours. It said “a post-recovery inventory of the boats found that all weapons, ammunition and communications gear was accounted for, minus two SIM cards apparently removed from two hand-held satellite phones.”
Some people now say that the boats were on a suicide mission, willingly or unwillingly. There are credible reports of an Israeli submarine positioned nearby that was allegedly ready to sink the vessels while in Iranian waters, as a prerequisite for a political fury of sanctions and armed whatnots against Iran over an “attack on the US vessels.”
Had the marines understood what their fate might be we don’t know. However, the Iranians say that the US marines cried while being detained, that’s how scared they were, until they were told that they won’t be killed, tortured, or imprisoned, as they knew the US would have done to Iranians if the situation was somehow reversed.
Somebody must had warned Iranians about this false flag attack. Could it be someone from the US Navy? From NATO? Just like the American diplomat working in Moscow warned about the plot to kill the President of Russia in March 2015. According to the plan Putin was supposed to be killed on a helicopter. Remember, The Economist magazine’s “mysterious” cover for 2015? Putin in black and white and, wearing sunglasses and an orange helicopter in front of him? Orange as in “orange revolution.” Because, as we all know, they are all geniuses over there, and we are just country pumpkins. That was it. Fifth columnists, NGO grant eaters, and other liberal rats were running around the Kremlin with cameras because they were told to watch service helicopters with a promise that something big was about to happen.
An American diplomat reported this plan to the Russia’s authorities and the plan was foiled. Rumor has it, the guy moved to Crimea and got baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church. It’s a beautiful ceremony, I must admit, and to experience it is worth saving the life of a president.
It looks like people everywhere are very alert to the possibility of the psychotic 1% starting a mass slaughter across the globe, and try to fight these plans with everything they’ve got; career, freedom and life notwithstanding.
Upon learning of a plan to use two swift boats as a bait, and to turn the Persian Gulf into a “pearl harbor,” the Russia’s Air Forces, who just happened to be in the neighborhood apparently used their mysterious capacity to turn off the US swift boats’ systems, and allegedly, the Israeli submarine’ systems, also. Boats became deaf, blind and motionless. Exactly like in November 2014in the Black Sea, the Russian Sukhoi Su -24 with the newest jamming complex paralyzed the most modern American combat management system “Aegis” installed on the destroyer “USS Donald Cook.”
CNN showed this humiliation ( Persian Gulf, not the Black sea one)
As someone rightfully noted, “You haven’t lived until you’re a 22 year old ensign a few months out of NROTC, leading 7 sailors who are all under 21 and 2 chiefs who are about 30 years old. Your small boat breaks in the middle of the Persian Gulf and you can’t see the ship and the radio is broken. And not only that, half the political establishment of your country is hoping to Christ you become a martyr.”
Now, can we understand why the US marines were crying?
And most importantly, we might know what exactly Surkov told to Nuland when she blackmailed him by an “imminent NATO strike.” Known for being as politically correct, subtle and calculating as a guided missile, Surkov could, for all we know, even have used the CNN footage to illustrate his points.
Well, from the Black Sea to island Farci, the US marines have been crying more and more since 2014 when the USS Cook was blinded, deafened and disabled by Russia’s SU. Will Washington ever see their tears and bring them home? Meanwhile, the US military gradually learn that urinating on dead Muslims is not nearly as exhilarating as getting down on your knees in front of alive ones.
spot on. another of Scott’s missile’s
cheers
:) :) :) – Scott has the best missiles!
Jewish mafia at its best. Look how they represent *all sides of this conflict* – US, Russia and Ukraine at the same time:
US represented by Jew Nuland [1] (whose father name was Nudelman [2]) who arrives to Russia to meet Surkov – son of a Chechen father and Jewish mother [3]. Later Nuland will arrive to Ukraine to discuss its future with Jew Poroshenko listed by Israeli Forbes among richest Jews in the world (son of a Jew Waltzman) [4], who recently visited Israel where he said Ukraine was founded by Jews [5, 6].
Is it coincidence that the fate of this crucial for the future of our world conflict is decided between Jews?
even if this is so, they are not doing a good job out of it, are they?
Ja, but in supporting all sides they can always claim afterwards to anyone unfortunate enough to have to listen that they are so clever that they supported the winning side and prove it by saying that this one’s uncle’s sister’s brother’s nephew’s niece’s half sibling twice removed was with so and so and influenced the decision taken to do so and so that resulted in some game changing event, etc, etc, etc. Its a win – win situation for them.
I forgot other important side of this conflict – Novorossia. One might ask who represents it? Foreign minister of Donetsk People’s Republic – Jew Kofman [7].
Just a “coincidence”, of course. But don’t dare to raise such questions in public. Zionists would be unhappy.
The Truth about the Conflict with Russia.
The current conflict between the US and Russia is due to one simple reason: the Ashkenazim. They have a debt to settle with Russia.
Allow us to forward a bit of chronological tables as we delve into the nitty-gritty behind the conflict.
The Ashkenazim – descendants of the gentile Ashkenaz the Japhetite – are a resilient roaming Turkic people. They have a knack for reinventing themselves. They first surfaced in world annals as the notoriously barbaric Scythians or Sakadeans depending on regional phonetic.
“Here there is no Gentile or Judahite, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.” Colossians 3: 11
The word Scythian or Sakadean comes from the word Saka – with its Iranian verbal root Sak meaning to roam.
The Scythians settled Central Eurasia which they conquered with their Gentile brother Togarmath and various other cousins expanding across a vast track of land that encompassed but was not limited to parts of present day Turkey and Iran. Their Gentile brother Riphath along with their uncle Javan’s descendants settled in Greece.
Later on, the Ashkenazim reinvented themselves and settled a land they would call Khazaria – from the word Qasar with its Turkic root Qaz meaning to roam – following the break-up of the western Turkish Steppe Empire. Then the country converted en masse to Judaism/Pharisaism sometime between 740 and 920 AD just so they could remain independent of the two competing empires of that time: Christianity and Islam.
“Judaism was the most actively proselytizing religion…The most significant mass conversion occurred in the 8th century, in the massive Khazar kingdom between the Black and Caspian seas,” explained Jewish historian Shlomo Sand…
https://biblicisminstitute.wordpress.com/2015/03/17/the-truth-about-the-conflict-with-russia/
The Scythian were not a Turkic people. They were an Indo-European “Iranic” people, many of them blond or red haired. They were related to Thracian peoples of the Balkan regions from those days.
Also the word Ashkenazi came from the old Jewish designation of what is today Germany. It had no connection to Khazars or Khazaria. Most Northern,Central, and Eastern European Jews became know by that name over the centuries. And while I do believe that some European Jews were descended from Khazar converts to Judaism (that Zionists refuse to admit),Judaism wasn’t the only faith in Khazaria. There were also Christian and Muslim Khazars. The majority of the elite among the Khazars converted to Judaism. But scholars aren’t at all certain what percentage of the common Khazars were converted.
Its an error to lump all the Jewish people into a “Khazar ethnicity”.With centuries of intermingling it could be that most Eastern European descended Jews, have a small amount of Khazar ancestry. But only a small portion would probably be actually descended from the Khazars. There was also intermarriage between the Khazars in the early days and all their surrounding peoples (including Slavs). And there are old reports of some Khazar tribes having joined with the Magyars in the Magyar (Hungarian) takeover of Hungary in the 800’s. The fact that after their defeats they seemed to disappear from history.Leads many scholars (and I believe that as well) to think they melted into their neighboring peoples. The Muslims,Christians, and Jews, among them joining with their fellows. And becoming a part of those peoples over the years. It would have been much easier for the Christian and Muslims among them. Since those faiths had states for them to merge into with little trouble. But with the Jewish Khazars they would have found it easier to just settle amount the other Jews of Eastern Europe. And overtime just be considered as any other Jew was in those days.
Pretty early on the Jews of those regions had created their own language. A mix of German,Latin (Northern French),Slavic, with a few Aramaic words, called Yiddish. Hebrew was only a religious language, unspoken by most Jews in that period. And as most Jews moving East were from the Ashkenazi lands. The Khazars settling among them would have adopted Yiddish as well. The use of a separate language being another cause of a feeling of “separateness” from the peoples they lived among. And reinforced a “clannish” behavior among them.
Here is an interesting article on European descended Jewry. To summarize it, 20-50% of the male lineage of European Jews comes from European converts. While 80% of the female lineage comes from European converts. Also in the days of the Roman Empire more than 6 out of 7 people following Judaism lived outside of today’s Israel. Which would account for the early spread of Christianity in the Roman Empire. When it was first considered as a Jewish sect. Its just this kind of factual research that drives the Zionists insane with fury. And similarly,is disliked by the Jew haters as well:

Ethnicity has nothing to do with the way that I think.
I think nothing like my two brothers.
Free yourselves from the ethnic groupthink label assigned you by others – it need have zero significance.
It is much better to think of yourself as an alien.
Interesting. I would like to add from my research, the “serpent people” or what used to be the (black) Brotherhood of the snake of Atlantis.. eventually became the “Shepard kings” of western Asia, the Hyksos who invaded Egypt in around 1650 BC.
It would not be unreasonable to say that “The Shining ones”, the Scythians, that were indeed an Indoeuropean white race were infiltrated and taking over according to the same recipe we have seen so many times and that eventually a force appeared to seriously challenge the kingdom of Egypt.
They were evicted at around 1200 BC and from my understanding they are back at least around 300 BC at the time of the writing of the Septaquaint bible were the whole fable of the Israelites/Pharaos and Moses story were concocted. https://ashraf62.wordpress.com/ancient-egypt-knew-no-pharaohs/
They most likely had a hand in the Nebukadnessar and ancient Babylon stories as well.
So we are talking about a basically satanic(actually Luciferian) network of ancient times weaving their way through history eventually becoming the Khazars and then you have that story.
On a final note, this “brotherhood” is global. I doubt it is a coincidence that only a few decades after the Rus and Bysanthium broke up Khazaria, the Mongols swept through Asia and Europe with devastating consequences..
Some say they worked with the jews as well..
“Ten days before the Odesa tragedy a secret meeting was held in Kiev, chaired by the incumbent president Olexander Turchinov, to prepare a special operation in Odessa. Present were minister of internal affairs Arsen Avakov, the head of the Ukrainian Security Service Valentin Nalivaychenko, and the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Parubiy. Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskiy, the Kiev-appointed head of regional administration of the Dnepropetrovsk region, was consulted in regard to the operation.
During that meeting Arsen Avakov has reportedly came up with the idea of using football hooligans, known as “ultras,” in the operation. Ever since his time as the head of the Kharkov regional administration he has worked closely with the fans leaders, whom he continued to sponsor even from his new home in Italy. Kolomoisky temporarily delivered his private “Dnieper-1” Battalion under the command of law-enforcement officials in Odessa and also authorized a cash payment of $5,000 for “each pro-Russian separatist” killed during the special operation.
A couple of days before the operation in Odessa Andriy Parubiy brought dozens of bullet-proof vests to local ultra-nationalists. Ultranationalist militants from the extremist Ukrainian National Assembly (UNA-UNSO), who could be recognized by their red armbands, were also used during the operation. They were assigned a key role in the staging of the provocations: they masqueraded as the defenders of the tent city on Kulikovo Field, and then lured its occupants into the House of Trade Unions to be slaughtered.
Fifteen roadblocks were set up outside of Odessa, secured by militants under the personal command of Kolomoisky’s “Dnieper-1” Battalion, as well as Right Sector’s thugs from Dnepropetrovsk and the western regions of Ukraine. In addition, two military units from the Self-Defense of Maidan arrived in Odessa, under the command of the acting head of the administration of the president, Sergey Pashinsky – the same man who was caught with a sniper rifle in the trunk of his car on Feb. 18 on Independence Square (Maidan) in Kiev.
The role of the Odessa police forces in the operation was personally directed by the head of the regional police, Petr Lutsyuk, and his deputy Dmitry Fucheji.
It is hard to take you seriously. removed No references removed. No attacking author. Mod TR.. Why make us question the true things because of the synthetic?
Isn’t Scott’s Corner supposed to be satirical? At least, it usually appears in the humor section. Therefore we aren’t supposed to take him seriously, are we? Though I sense there’s a lot of truth in this particular column…
Scott, I’ve been trying to think who you remind me of, in your writing. It’s Mark Twain.
I’m sure you understand that, from a US person, there’s no higher literary compliment possible.
Thanks for this riveting dispatch.
It’s a lovely story. It will be wonderful if we can see over time that it’s true.
Agree.
The thing with “***k the EU” Nuland is she is so deeply dillusional along with her Kagan clan that she thinks Russia is like “her” corrupt idiots in Ukraine. She represents the Neo Cons in the US deep state. She would be threatening not warning – unless it would harm her and her family’s interests.
She had a taste of power and fame in Ukraine but can’t seem to get it through her head that other countries aren’t the same……she is one crazy person. John Kerry is top dog in her department – not an unelected and unelectable individual like her – oh wait a minute – just like the EU….the similarities…
@Veritas
Well, well, something is happening it looks like that the game is not going in the right direction………..as supposed to be
http://www.1tv.ru/news/polit/300280
Veritas… Neo Cons actually are Trotskyists, same psycho. M.O… Same Naga tribe origin !
you mean like main street media endorsing it according to unnamed sources in the field?
grieved, what is your validation criteria?
many thanks for your response.
Thank you much, Grieved.
It means the world to me. I want to use your feedback with others for a book I’m writing now, if you don’t mind.
Scott, please use it as extensively as you wish. Thanks for all your hard work.
No offense, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some the sources that informed this account were deliberate disinformation. Although I enjoy this blog and find much of the analysis useful, some of this stuff in this article sounds almost like well-known internet hoaxer Sorcha Faal.
It´s taken from Sorcha Faal:http: //www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1984.htm. Lovely story, but is there any truth in it?
What I like in this article is it´s strong moral emphasis under the lines, evil deeds will face punishment some day. I think that we all are waiting for that day. And think a moment about those young US sailors. My sons are at the same age. What was so beautiful in this incident was that boys were freed. Definitely those young men are not the ones to punish. Iranians did well when they released the crew. It was a victory for a diplomacy, as John Kerry put it afterwards.
Annonnimy,
scott’s article bears no resemblence with the content behind the link you are quoting.
wonder what you meant? thanks
Sorry, I meant this: http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1983.htm. But both are related to the article. And about John Kerry, now he´s very angry because of the release of video footage of captured US sailors: http://sputniknews.com/politics/20160119/1033342217/us-sailors-iran.html. Is he angry because of the public release of the video in CNN or treatment of his compatriots(which don´t look really bad on the video, but must be humiliating for US)? He knows what happened in Guantanamo so…?
Thanks.
sorcha faal aka david booth a long term internet hoaxer is CIA asset. the storry about the supposes “sisterhood” is pure fiction
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_autor_booth.htm
Well, well. If that´s true, then enemy is at the gates? In Russia Insider there´s been very misleading articles of Jacob Dreizin about the situation in Syria. Also here was a bit confusing interview of retired US army general Michael T. Flynn. We are under an attack:) So stand strong, Vineyard of the Saker.
sorcha faal is most surely a disinfo channel.
trouble is, very good disinfo outlets mix about 10-20% of pure truth with a pack of lies..it’s how a successfull disinfo works . so it’s not all worthless, it’s just that you must employ your best sense to separate the wheat from the chuff.
i agree, the enemy is at all gates.
I generally appreciate fairy-tales and their importance to both ethnic folk culture and for education of youth.
However, I don’t appreciate dishonesty in case they are presented as facts.
@Rachotilko on January 20, 2016 · at 10:00 am UTC
Then you think that the soldiers who were sent into the “almost ” meat grinder called another Pearl Harbour is the fiction footage?
Then why all of the Z I O medias are upset that they have broadcasted the pictures with the soldiers on their knees?
Obviously these soldiers are innocent, they were just sent to do the job like they did when they find the Osama ?????????????????even he was dead already in 2003 and the all crew went down with the helicopter just in case that one day somebody will speak that it wasn’t Osama at all.
The Sorcha Faal article is about the Us boat carrying an ISIS/AQ leader to Syria? A load of crap.
Too much missing information in western MSM.
A false flag type operation that did not work for sure, but we may never know the exact details.
Shlomo,
this is a speculative piece, not a report from the ground.
if you feel you have a similar or better one, please share. thank you.
Shlomo, well spotted. The cited “AgoraVox experts” have translated a Sorcha Faal article into French, and that’s indeed where the information about what Nuland allegedly said is coming from. Here is the original on the known hoax site:
http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1983.htm
Too bad foiled false flags are harder to prove than successful false flags. It’s like chasing a ghost. You can only see the outlines.
Maybe that’s what’s ahead – a rash of stories about almost false flags. Mystery whistleblowers, hidden technologies, fears that you’re a patsy about to meet your end.
There’s a good novel in there somewhere.
Wow! Difficult to believe, what a story! The problem is that under the circumstances, it is very credible. Enough incidents have already happened in the past two years to make the epic movie of the century…
Obviously the anglo-zionists are very upset at the successes of Russia, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and the other true partners in the current war. The hegemon is getting desperate and anything is possible.
SunLion
“Obviously the anglo-zionists are very upset at the successes of Russia, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and the other true partners in the current war.”
Very perceptive. Have you seen this from “Huffington Post,” the largest website on the planet?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/russian-airstrikes-are-working-in-syria–enough-to-put-peace-talks-in-doubt/2016/01/19/64127084-beb2-11e5-98c8-7fab78677d51_story.html?tid=sm_tw
The article contains the usual Zio-American imperialist outright lies and disinformation; however, it contains one (panicked), headlined admission. “Battlefield Tipping Toward Assad” The largest imperialist propaganda website acknowledges the “turning of the tide” – Tolkien. The Zionist American imperialist Oligarchs have been panicked since they sensed/realized (ran into the Freight Train) of a reviving of Russia, at about the turn of the century, 2000ish.
Allow me to list several of these Reverses: Below is the Short list:
1. The Russians began to restore their National Economy, and to modernize their Military.
2. The Russian Army stopped the Georgian aggression.
3. The Russians Liberated Crimea, and established 2 new Democratic Republics.
4. Russia and their Air Corps turn the tide in Syria, and raise Hope in the Middle East.
In summary:
The Zio-American terrorists began experiencing reverses in their diplomatic, as well as military adventures. The rescue of Syria by the Russian Nation, (as I wrote earlier on this website), is the most recent, and most Earthshaking reversal of imperialist fortunes, since the German-Nazi 6th Army was surrounded by the Russians, at Stalingrad.
The Russian Nation, and their competent Leaders, are just beginning to hit their stride. The imperialist media, from the “NY Times,”, to their associated “Huffington Post,” (to Ms Nuland?), are beginning to sweat.
If our American citizens could Rise, and restore the Republic, we could end the pain!
» The rescue of Syria by the Russian Nation [is the] most Earthshaking reversal of imperialist fortunes, since the German-Nazi 6th Army was surrounded by the Russians, at Stalingrad. «
Well, the Army was the Army (Wehrmacht), and it didn’t have anything to do with the NSDAP.
Also, Germany wasn’t fighting for “imperialist fortunes”.
You’re systematically confused when you take your historic references to Europe.
Such as when you say (elsewhere on this blog) Russia should “liberate” the tiny Baltic nations. Have you ever been there? They have a history and a language of their own and it is older than Russia and the Russian language. Why should they not have their own bit of land? Why should they be governed from Moscow? Just because they serve as bridgehead for Uncle Sam? Shouldn’t the problem rather be solved on your side of the Atlantic?
I do not doubt that you would prefer that solution. By and large, I agree with you. :)
no. I can’t imagine Nuland warning Russia about anything. She probably thought of a parting shot and went to Kaliningrad or whatever to voice it.
If this event did in fact occur as described in this text above, I believe that she tried so scare the Russians, NOT to warn them.
It’s certainly plausible: Let’s get Vicky to Kaliningrad, see if she can scare the Russians.
I don’t think the Russians are easily scared though.
At some point in the future, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nuland threw her employer under the bus, if you catch my meaning, not saying that it has happened yet…
One little nugget about Victoria ‘Pottymouth’ Nuland. When talking to Russians about Putin, she refers to him as ‘your fucking king’. I don’t know who the US think they are impressing by their behaviour, but it certainly isn’t Russia.
The article draws a parallel to Nuland’s visit in the trip of Rudolf Hess to England in 1941 in an attempt to stop the war.
https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http://rusvesna.su/recent_opinions/1453122098&usg=ALkJrhizKze1oZw3gnE4OVJvECyiIFdXfA
Wasn’t Mossad’s motto ‘victory by deception’. These guys don’t want fair eyeball to eyeball fights, they prefer the stab you in the back route. No wonder they get on so well with the Turks.
Russia can relax, they will give a very good account of themselves should anyone try anything. No soldier can ask for more.
Now the capture makes sense
Ignorant kids. Fed into the grinder the same as the passengers on MH17. Being part of the US military I wouldn’t care if they hadn’t survived, but they are far luckier than the passengers of MH17.
I guess time will tell what the full story is, but I guess it will be very close to what you have put up here.
“I guess time will tell what the full story is, but I guess it will be very close to what you have put up here.”
Thanks, Peter.
I got these rumors from some reliable sources, and crosschecked it.
Well, we do know that the US and Israelis “would” do that type of thing. They have in the past. So I don’t see why they wouldn’t today as well. One of the most horrible parts of dealing with the US and Israel is that they absolutely have no “morals”. Anything and everything that serves their purposes is allowed. The Israeli (Zionist) mindset is even worse about that than the US’s (I know that’s hard to contemplate). With the US,they think first to bribe, and subvert through the MSM,and other groups,to get what they want. Then if that doesn’t work, they’ll threaten, and try Color Revolutions, military actions, etc. The Israelis on the other hand, have as a “first option” murder and destruction. Followed up by massive propaganda. I think there are two reasons for that fact. One,they see themselves as ,”the chosen people” as “God’s anointed on Earth”.The racist factor is huge with them. We are all nothing to them except cattle. And second,Zionism from the beginning embraced terrorism as a normal, accepted, part of their options to gain their ends. And that thinking has never gone away.
hopefully they also “talked’ about the increasing intensity of criminal actions by Ukr forces against Donbass, the presentation of war crimes to the Hague all documented by Donbass and actively being considered/investigated…maybe the leakage of Ukr ‘intentions’ re Donbass as revealed by Saakashvilli……………….ukr being sued by Rus for 3billion, the increased training by western forces of Ukr forces……stolen Syrian oil being exported by Erdogan and co to ukr, perhaps the non revealed things that Putin and Erdogan have previously agreed not to be talked about but may need to be ‘understood”…Rus selling military to Saudi?……..doomed Turkish economy and rogue Erdogan could lead NATo down a very interesting pathway leading to world horror of NATO’s irresponsibility………..maybe it was a plot like John Le Carre’s tinker tailor soldier spy, she is in fact the Kremlins agent determined to bring down the USA……………..or the spy who came in from the cold……………( in both cases the agent ended up getting shot………………)
“According to the columnist of MIA “Russia today”, Rostislav Ishchenko, the Americans for a long time refused to believe that the Minsk process is an effective mechanism because they were not allowed to admit it.
“But now, they recognized that this is the only way to solve the problem. Another possibility to achieve stabilization in Ukraine does not exist. Therefore the US authorities put pressure on Kiev, forcing them to implement the agreements”, the expert said in an interview with “SP”.

Prime Minister David Cameron will be under considerable political pressure for the adoption of new anti-Russian measures, from the Liberal Democrats for example, the newspaper notes. In such a situation, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs seeks to avoid full-scale sanctions, in particular because cooperation with the Russian leadership “is vital to create a united front against the “Islamic State” (IS, is prohibited in Russia) in Syria”, states The Guardian.

“Today in Zurich will be the first in this year’s meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry. The talks will be bilateral relations between Russia and the United States, the situation in Ukraine, the last nuclear test North Korea and, of course, the Syrian crisis.
Recall, on Monday in Geneva to begin mezhsiriyskie advice provided by UN Security Council resolution. They are preceded by the formation of a transitional government, a new constitution and holding elections. But the beginning of the political process stalled, it is possible that the timing may move. One of the stumbling blocks is still inconsistent list of terrorist organizations, which will not participate in the negotiations. Lavrov and Kerry touched and humanitarian situation in the country.
The arrangement of the meeting was reached during a telephone conversation the two presidents, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama, which took place a week ago on the initiative of Washington.”

In response, the Russian delegation was denied the right to attend a meeting of the organization before the end of 2016. Thus, the Russian Federation has got rid of the need to pay for their trips to Europe to having lost the right to vote, “democratically” to listen to the constant accusations in his address. “Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked has spoken out in favor of an independent Kurdish state. She also urged increased cooperation between Israel and the Kurdish people. Shaked sees this as an opportunity to weaken Israel’s rivals in the region.
“We must openly call for the establishment of a Kurdish state that separates Iran from Turkey, one which will be friendly towards Israel,” Shaked told the annual INSS security conference in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, as cited by the Times of Israel.
More precisely, Shaked proposed the new state be founded between Turkey, Israel and Iraq.

The minister stressed that Israel should “promote steps that would correct the injustice that [made Kurds] the biggest nation without a state,” BasNews reported. She also emphasized that “the Kurds are an ancient people with thousands of years of history, and a democratic nation” – one that has “never attacked any other nation.”
For Shaked, this isn’t just about driving a regional wedge between all the countries that could not accommodate a separate Kurdish state.”

The YPG have arrested suspected offenders and issued a strong rebuttal of Amnesty’s claims.

As for genocidal maniac Shaked..the Syrian Kurds are not stupid. They know perfectly well she envisages a ‘Kurdistan’ under the control of the Iraqi Barzani mafia and is about as concerned for the welfare of Kurds region-wide as she is for the welfare of Palestinians. Bennett put her up to this.
The Israeli Right is freaking about not just the Iran agreement, but the real possibility of losing control over their illegal occupation of the Golan Heights.
The last thing they want is an intact Syria, Syrian Kurd rapprochment with the Assad-led government, and the very real possibility the YPG might take on the IDF and their al-Nusra proxy in the Golan.
Syria has the potential to become a leading light in the region and it makes perfect sense for the Syrian Kurds to be a big part of its renewal.
Your assessment of the Kurds is completely off-base.

MOSCOW, January 20. /TASS/. “Not everything goes smoothly” in negotiations between Russia and the United States on Syria, and “tough disagreements” persist on “white and black” lists of organizations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday. “A lot of work still needs to be done,” Peskov said adding that the sides “are working hard” to reach a compromise. “[The sides] are working hard, and our Foreign Minister [Sergey Lavrov] and US Secretary of State [John Kerry] will hold a meeting. [The sides] are working in other spheres as well but not everything goes smoothly,” the Kremlin spokesman noted. He said the lists of Syrian organizations was an example of that. “There are still problems about the lists. Tough disagreements persist on who should be included in the ‘white’ and ‘black’ lists,” Peskov said.

So Nuland went to the Russians warning them of an imminent NATO strike on Russia??
GTFO here!!
” Nuland meets Surkov to warn about imminent NATO attack”
Really? This is not a sitrep but a rumor mill.
This isn’t a sitrep. It is Scott’s corner to post thoughts, humour and rants.
The ignorant and naive might dismiss this story, but I and others believe it wholeheartedly. Why?
Anyone familiar with Israel’s attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 would know and appreciate Tel-A-Viv’s long and sordid history of slaughtering Americans and other supposed allies in order to get the Goyims to fight on behalf of the Zionist State.
That USS Liberity incident was hushed up by the Johnson Administration and the surviving sailors silenced, and Americans were told it was an unfortunate “accident”.
By controlling the narrative that ensues from these operations Israelis know that if one fails they can always go back to the drawing board and plan more carefully for the next one. And bear in mind that compared to 1967 Zionist control and influence now in America is almost limitless.
Russia, Iran and their allies must remain vigilant against these false flags because the Empire is desperate and and there is no limit to the amount of blood that they are not willing to spill in order to achieve their evil aims.
While a Government employee I personally met several sailors from the Liberty, who were continuing in their previous activities afterward. Later as a Government contractor, I saw that the Navy, at least, was taking measures never to let this happen again. Whether they would defer to a Presidential order again, as the 6th Fleet did in 1967, is an open question. Maybe with a whole new generation of leadership they might. Twenty five years ago, however, they would not have willingly.
Wow.
I am going to frame this.
Just epic, Scott.

I think the current Polish elite are trying to replace Ukraine as the transit hub for European gas supply.
My best guess is they have made some deal with Israel, which is now under threat from the Iran deal.

Another bigoted post full of generalizations concerning Americans. Yes, scott we over here in our police state all love what our government does in our names. We are all vehement haters of Russians, who simply blindly follow the dictates of empire. You are so certain of your moral superiority, no, scotty? What will you have us do, dear boy? Will the Russian government allow for those of us who are non-supportive of our government to immigrate freely to their state? Those of us who fully support the Russian nation? Do you know the answer, scott? I do.
Given what the US gov/Nato has been doing to Russia, are you surprised Charles, that American non-aligned sensitivities are not Scott’s priority?

Dear Charles Fasola
Thank you for asking.
It would be very helpful if you help to promote thesaker.is across the blogosphere.
Leave comments with links to our blog for nyt, New Yorker, and others.
If you use twitter please follow me https://twitter.com/ScottsHumor
If you know foreign languages, for example British, please, comment their articles also and post links to our articles in the UK, NZ, Australia and Ca.
It would be very useful to spread the word about our articles via English language outlets of France24, Deutsche Welle and others.
We don’t have any research assistants doing this PR work right now. Any your help would be greatly appreciated!
Scott,
I am a promoter of this blog. But please realize there are many here among us in the land of empire who completely disagree with the zio/NATOists policies. We are fully supportive of Russia’s; except for the policies of their Central Banking institution. I refuse to engage with twitter, face book or any of the other social media that is nothing more than a tool of empire.
I will consider your advice. However, I would appreciate some effort made concerning painting all of us in the US the same color.
Dear Charles
” However, I would appreciate some effort made concerning painting all of us in the US the same color.”
I could give you a million of reasons why I absolutely, undeniably don’t paint all of you in the US the same color.
In this post, I write about a real life US diplomat who foiled the scheme to kill President Putin.
I also have hope for some forces inside the US intelligence and military to realize the self-destructing path the US politicians have been taking.
There are must be some uncorrupted military brass.
What do you think?
You could use your vaunted democratic institutions to elect a sane government. Oh wait, they don’t really exist.
So how long would it take to understand American culture there yankee? Some of us have been watching family guy, Simpsons, Garfield for decades. Heck dallas was the best darn insight into high society ever, my mom always told me if I ever get rich dont become JR.. ..
RT is running a story on the Ruble hitting a historic low against the US Dollar. This was reported in the story, about the last time this sort of thing happened:
“The 2014 currency crisis led to a multibillion-dollar bank run in Russia. According to Herman Gref, chairman and CEO of Russia’s Sberbank, depositors panicked which destabilized the financial situation in the bank and the whole country.”
“Unfortunately, we could not avoid the panic. You saw what happened. But I can only say this: first, the attack was coordinated, thousands of text messages were sent in each region, including a large number of mailings done from foreign websites. The target was to destabilize the country’s largest bank and financial situation in the country,” he said in May 2015.”
That brings up a “very” important question. And I thing the answer will leave a very bad “taste” in my mouth. The question is,”Why has the Russian government not opened criminal cases over that”. Why “are those sending those messages not in prison cells.” I really can’t think of a single country where that type of action isn’t considered an illegal act. The fact that the Russian government hasn’t done that is extremely disturbing. If the government doesn’t have the power to take actions to save their economy. Then seriously, they need to resign and move over for one that will take those type of actions. I’m really tired of trying to find adequate excuses for them not taking action to control their economic problems. I think we have about run out of excuses for them .
https://www.rt.com/business/329535-ruble-record-low-dollar/
But how do they do that if the source is outside of the RF?
They probably (but with a much better investigative system) did the same thing ,I’ve seen that we’ve done. Traced the messages back to where they came from. I don’t doubt that the West would /has done that type of thing. Its certainly a tool in their “toolbox”.
Maybe it will not sound very good at all but if the international economic trend will continue in this way or even more abruptly – look at the oil price disaster witch is taking shape by day – the russian central bank will gonna have huge difficulties this year and maybe, again maybe, the russian president may have to intervene with his presidential power.Shall we witness some sort of economical state of emergency ?
“That which controls the money supply controls the government”
Very important words. Until Russia, and they are not alone among sovereign nations, issues their currency through their own Treasury Department branch of government, by directly spending it into the economy, rather than borrowing it from a private Central Banking syndicate at interest, there will exist problems. Their economic performance will continue to depend upon how much currency the western controlled central bankers choose to lend. Currency created out of almost thin air, electronically, by isduing debt (loans). Essentially until the central bank is fully nationalized economic fluctuations and problems will continue. Since the central banks affiliation is with western big banking interests, Russia’s best interests are not primary.
Charles Fasola,
What makes you think issuing currency through a treasury would be less of a rip-off than through a central bank? French revolution, continental dollar were all treasury-caused disasters…
Food for thought: Bitcoin and gold are examples of monetary means of exchange that aren’t managed by a central bank or a treasury dept…
Thank you, Charles. I am unable even to believe that the objective is multipolarity–rather than sharing the global oligarchy’s tyranny. The strength of the Russian nation is being kept down by limiting the issuance of its currency to the value of its export-income. Credit to do business, and investment credits are limited to borrowing at interest. Shares in resources have to be given up to develop them under this criminal racket.
This is the IMF-Fed system that impoverishes countries all over the world.
For those who don’t understand this, have a look at Starikov’s free on-line book
http://lit.md/files/nstarikov/rouble_nationalization-the_way_to_russia%27s_freedom.pdf
Uncle Bob, Russian Central Bank is not under control of anyone in Russia, interluding Putin. In one of earlier discussions, someone pointed to this link, which offers an eye opening piece, and answers the question why cannot Russia/Putin do much about ruble.
http://lit.md/files/nstarikov/rouble_nationalization-the_way_to_russia's_freedom.pdf
There is no presidential or any other power that controls any Central Bank. They are all controlled by somebody who controls Fed and IMF, and that is not even USA Congress or the President. I don’t want to spoil the experience, enjoy the read.
:-)
Can we get up of our knees yet?
“Russia” is not a solution but, rather, an integral part of the problem.
It is, first & foremost, a (very top class) class war.
Even if Putin were the equivalent of a benevolent king (which he isn’t) I will never tip my hat to such nor should we leave ourselves open to the vagueries of the subsequent succession plan which this approach entails.
Considering the disasters of the last Century (and now this one) brought about by the “elected” and “democratic” or “republican” leaders in the World. Maybe having a “benevolent King” isn’t such a bad idea after all. I really don’t see any of the other leaders being “heavy” on the “benevolent” part to their peoples. And that is something in today’s World we could surely use ,some “benevolence” from our leaders.
Wait on that benevolence and your offspring will starve, which is precisely Mulga’s point here http://thesaker.is/60-minutes-defames-russian-effort-in-syria/comment-page-1/#comment-201030.
Discussing history in the meantime will fill the gap – badly.
I don’t think I’m quite known as someone that believes in just “waiting”. In fact I’ve been attacked more than once for wanting to not wait around.
Thinking the best we can get is a benevolent monarch is the definition of:
wanting to wait around.
The “look what they done in Kiev” is just a part of that methodology (since it ends in pepperspray) & waiting for the 5th col to the 5th col gets you Putin whom Penelope (above) has just pointed out is just using “Russia” to share the spoils amongst the global tyranny.
That is the problem, that I was trying to highlight. Its just that problem that may very well determine whether Russia wins or loses this war against her economy. Constantly fighting “the champ”,as difficult as that is. Is much, much, more difficult when you go into the ring with one of your arms tied behind your back. This problem with Central Bank is a case of “one step forward, and two steps back”. Any good results are constantly negated. So treading water is the best results we’ve seen.
“one step forward, and two steps back”
does not explain the situation.
This does http://thesaker.is/nuland-meets-surkov-to-warn-about-imminent-nato-attack-by-scott/comment-page-1/#comment-201384
Thanks Scott for a very good analysis on the meeting Nuland-Surkov and the first Security Council of the year ( yes, that of the color ties. I do not know but curiously, or not so, since then, Comrade Vladímir Vladímirovich has appeared always with a “red tie”, both at the meeting woth Sultán Al Thani of Qatar and the meeting with the European Jewish Congress…..)
“Somebody must had warned Iranians about this false flag attack. Could it be someone from the US Navy? From NATO?”
How about someone from the very inside of the Mossad? Yes, I refuse to believe that everyone is so crazy there. There will be any person or group of normal people who want themselves or at least their children to grow up in a world of peace and prosperity and understand that this race forward do not lead to anywhere, to no good, it is clear.
As in the “Mutiny of the Bounty”, when the captain has gone mad, all that remains is to put him in the bilge and take control of the ship.

A curiosity, Scott, please, would you mind answer me a question? Look, as I “still” have not traveled to Moscow, I would like to know if The Lubianka is just the opposite The Kremlin of Moscow, in the other side of the river. Thanks in advance.
Just in case you are not being sarcastic, the Lubyanka is on the same side of the Moskva as the Kremlin, but is about 10-15 minutes away on foot (from the Red Square). Opposite the Kremlin there would be the GUM department stores. Opposite the Lubyanka (not right in front, but in the same square) there’s a luxurious Dyetsky Mir (Children’s World), which has been and still is the source of many jokes (such as a TV ad with children acting as interrogators and telling the parents that they’re going to Lubyanka).
Also worth checking (behind the FSB HQ) is Biblio-globus. I wish books were as cheap in my country.
No sarcasm here at all, comrade.
Just asking about the geographical situation, a question that was after me when I saw a video on some helicopters taking off from The Kremlin and appeared to land in a large building with many windows just across the river. I asked about this when I published that video here in the blog, but no one answered.
I appreciate the information, comrade, I actually will use it to calculate my itineraries on my next visit to Moscow…… you see, although I do not like going in a hurry while on vacation, I like to seize the day ….. and do shopping in the GUM does not fall within my plans.
I would assume that in The Lubyanka there is no opposition to The Kremlin, that idea has never crossed my mind, but…..well thought, hmmm…. you never know ….. look what happened with Litvinenko…..
Thanks for your information.
Kind regards.
Hi, elsi
It’s a ten minute walk. Lubyanka Square is in the upper right corner of this map. The Kremlin is on the bottom of this map in the middle.

Thanks a lot Scott, for me that location map is, for now, a gibberish

Лубянка = Lubyanka. The red circle with M is the Lubyanka metro stop by the square. Кремль = Kremlin.

Living in Moscow?
Look, I am coming, if Martin eventually does not come, maybe I need an interpreter…..
Well if Putin phoned Elton John, perhaps he,ll see you by appointment and you can ask him does he read the saker,………..!!!!!!!!
Sincerely have a good trip…..if you wish, i can ask a friend who works in moscow to meet up?
Oh, really would love meet them, both Mr. Putin and your friend.
Well, the travel is not imminent.
I´ll told you.
get in touch when you decide to go……….
Hi elsi, I don’t live there but I do have some contacts in the area. My last visit was in 2012. I enjoy life very much but have lived long enough to be skeptical that good sense, reasonableness, reciprocal respect, or even enlightened self interest (let alone altruism) will prevail in international relations. Humans have been successful despite their many faults – so far – and perhaps may continue to be so, god willing. The recent spate of ‘regime change’ efforts by the USA in Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, and especially Ukraine I have found particularly distressing and I remain pessimistic that such efforts will be abandoned or reformed despite the tragedy and horrors they have unleashed.
That is a “hotel”,I ‘d like to see several of the “economic leaders” visit for a long “rest cure”. It might do them (and it certainly would us) some good.

US pushed Iran out of Iraq and leaves Syria to Russia
– Will Iraq be divided or it is just putting a U.S pressure on Baghdad?
– Have Iran said its last word and turned a page on Iraq?
– The Americans influence will expand and remain (Baqiya wa tatamaddad) and won’t tolerate competitors
– FM Ibrahim al-Jaafari: “If Turkey does not withdraw from Iraq, all options would be available, including Jihad”.
– An Iranian senior official: “The priority is to finish off ISIS in the first place. After that…”
But is Iran said the last word and left Iraq to the United States of America?
The highest Iranian official in charge of the Iraqi dossier told me “America’s role is currently dominant, politically and militarily over the Iraqi administration and in Kurdistan. The Iranian influence is in decline at the moment, true. The weaker ISIS becomes, the stronger is the American influence ion the country. President Barack Obama will end his mandate victorious in Iraq with no losses, conducting a very clean war. But Iran has a lot of patience and the ground in Iraq doesn not belong to the Americans, neither they have a society that can protect them in the future. The priority is to finish off ISIS in the first place. After that, like the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid said, when he saw the cloud outside his palace (indicating the vast lands under his control): “Go and rain wherever you wish. Your water will always fall on my land.”
https://elijahjm.wordpress.com/
Yes,Iran will never “leave Iraq”.Certainly not with a Shia government in power (any Shia government). The connections between Iraq and Iran go back thousands of years. And in Iraq are the most Holy sites of the Shia version of Islam. Millions of Iranian pilgrims visit there every year. And most of the Iranian and Iraqi religious leaders have lived or studied in each others country. At least once or more in their lives. There is a lot of intermarriage and ethnic connections between them.I believe I read that even the main religious figure in Iraq has an Iranian background.
Iraq had their chance to create something. But the US just would not allow it. They installed their own puppets who were as corrupt as themselves and Iraq has turned into the most corrupt country n the world by a wide margin. The root of the problem… Half the people on the payroll are well on the payroll and they collect half the pay while their boss gets the rest. Reconstruction bids are given to US contractors who take half and give the rest to the Iraqi contractors who can not do the job as it will cost more, so they do a little bit and then leave it. Pocketing most of it. So some people got rich of the trillions the US spent in Iraq. The US wont even hire Iraqi’s for a lot of jobs. They hire 3rd party contractors to bring in foreigners who do the work for $100-$250… The foreigners don’t even know which country they are in, they are told it is Kuwait or Saudi Arabia and such.
Since they are US puppets, Iran don’t have as much influence as you think. these guys are only there to loot the country and that old PM and his relatives became billionaires. He was so bad that those no bid bids funds did not even reach Iraq before it was syphoned off. The New PM is not as bad but he only got the job because he don’t like Iran.. Sulamani had to wait many hours to get meetings with high level Iraqi officials and this guy was saving their hides. Iran is not happy but they know their time will come and Syria is far more important to them. You can not assume Iraqi’s will like Iranians because they have the same religion.
I think this entire anti-terrorist op was a way for the boosh cronies to loot the public off trillions and the cia in tow had free reigns on thr global drug trade. The pentagon had already looted a few trillion before this all started but how conveniently everyone forgot that 2 missing 2 trillion. They looted another trillion in 2008 and stuck it all onto the US tax payers..
Like Putin said and I think Putin was wrong, Because the US ruling elite are very smart.. very very smart..
The US citizens on the other hand must have mush for brains. Not only have the US elites looted the planet, they are and still looting the their own public right before their very eyes.. over 50% of the US families earn less than $50,000.. This is like saying india has 500 mil beggars.. In that respect india is doing much better and that is like at 90 on the corruption scale..
Iraq has some bad problems they need to overcome. You mentioned several of them. They need to offer a deal on an associated state ( similar to the Republics in the USSR) to the Kurds. To keep the country from splitting. They could do that because the Kurds aren’t Arabs. But they need to not under any circumstances offer something like that to the Sunni in West Iraq. Dividing rule over religion is a “poison pill” for the entire Arab/Muslim World. They need to assure equal treatment between Shia and Sunni. Maybe even a type of Federal system for all the provinces. But under no circumstances offer a religious autonomy to rule regions. That is a “kiss of death” in a country like Iraq (the same goes for Syria).

The most disturbing possibility is that Nuland is “mental” in the true unstable meaning of the word versus the cold, calculating psychopathic killers with whom she is in league with .
Also consider that if there is to be any “nuking” and probable death to all life on the planet from the ensuing Nuclear winter, it will come when and if the US develops the same electronic jamming technology because now the
Russians can not allow this to happen if all these rumors are true that unstable Nuland let it all out of the bag. Paul Craig Roberts thinks likewise.
Good starter fiction, Scott.
Just what the world needs is more confusion about such events.
Looking forward to your next short story.
I bet it was not a warning, rather declaration of war or some sort of this. Nuland is the messenger of the banksters. They have a party right now in Davos btw.. BIS is in Switzerland. Looks like one of the main centers of the evil is located in Switzerland.
Moldova seems to be coming to the boil. Protesters have successfully stormed and occupied the Parliament building there.
Yes,I’m interested in what’s happening there. It seems the protesters are against the new “pro-EU” PM put into office. They accuse him of being connected to the oligarchs that have robbed them blind all these years. It looks like a mini-Maidan type affair. But dare we hope that it might be from the other direction this time. I don’t know. Politics there is pretty murky viewing from here. I’m not really sure what is happening. Should we be happy or sad. It’s too early to decide I think.
Here is a good twitter source for updates on Moldova, and for Russia news in general:

That’s right,it’s “some sorts of this”.The declaration of war has been made an the economic level with the first implementation of sanctions against Russia.Since then, these sanctions haven’t been lifted and the chances of lifting them is very slim. Moreover, the oil impact in the Russian economy is grave, the currency is suffering losses – bad for small and middle business – and lately for the people of Russia. Some kind of measures must be taken, and that urgently.A military intervention from NATO is not yet on the agenda, the european countries are not prepared for such a huge effort. The US will never atack Russia without Germany and as we know,Germany has now it’s own huge problems with the migrants. One thing is sure,we cannot know what is in the minds of the decision-makers,how can they inflict something “big” enough to bring the whole NATO countries against Russia in a relative short space of time.
@Weston on January 20, 2016 · at 4:25 pm UTC
Basel in Switzerland is the head office of these psychopaths, this was one of the reasons why Switzerland wasn’t attacked during the WWII
‘According to the witnesses of Nuland’s arrival, she was in and “extremely agitated” state of mind. She was repeating over and over: “War is coming! War is at our gates!” She was also heard saying that Russia “has not fulfilled its promises,” and now “everybody is going to pay for this.”’
Applying Occam’s Razor, isn’t the simplest explanation that Nuland is nuts? We’ve always suspected it.
The simplest explanation is that whoever reported her saying that just made it up.
And so they did.
“There are credible reports of an Israeli submarine positioned nearby that was allegedly ready to sink the vessels while in Iranian waters…”
That doesn’t sound credible at all. For one thing, if there is a single type of naval vessel that makes a submarine captain very unhappy, it’s precisely that type of “fast boat”. They are very fast, very manoeuvrable, and their draught is so shallow that it’s unlikely they can be successfully torpedoed. Torpedoes need to run at a certain depth to make sure they don’t break the surface, and I suspect those boats only draw a couple of feet or so. They could almost have been designed to be safe from submarines.
“Russia’s Air Forces, who just happened to be in the neighborhood apparently used their mysterious capacity to turn off the US swift boats’ systems, and allegedly, the Israeli submarine’ systems, also”.
Another idea that sounds very implausible. I can just about believe that Russia has EW equipment that can defeat radar. Messing up all the enemy’s computer systems sounds a lot tougher – for a long time now most military electronics has been hardened even against EMP, which is the extreme case of sheer brute force. But I am not willing to believe in any kind of electronic system that can affect a submerged submarine (and no submarine willingly surfaces where there could be any threat, as it is almost helpless on the surface). It doesn’t take a lot of depth to stop any electromagnetic radiation at all, and a hundred feet of water is completely impenetrable.
Tom
Good points, this is the kind of mental exercise that is constantly needed to digest new information.
It is possible, though, for a submarine to lose communications via jamming as well as the usage of other weapons other than a torpedo by a submarine, I imagine. Especially since, if this is true, would imply planning ahead of time and anticipation of this situation.
Suppose this article is disinformation: the goal seems to be, then, in making us believe the US/NATO may pull off a false flag. What’s to gain from exciting a bunch of internet arm-chair generals? Wouldn’t they just do a DDOS attack on the website if real, incriminating information made it onto the internet? This also plays into my suspicions on the connections of The Saker and how, exactly, he ended up in the Empire’s backyard and can so freely publish anti-state material. But I digress…
The hardest parts for me to believe are that someone gave them advance warning. How did you know this without compromising said source? Since the neocon cabal pulled off 9/11 without leaking info ahead of time, are we to assume opsec couldn’t be maintained for something like this?
Scott,
You mentioned in a comment that you cross-checked your information from the reliable sources. How did you cross-check any of this? Against what info did you cross-check it?
“Meanwhile, the US military gradually learn that urinating on dead Muslims is not nearly as exhilarating as getting down on your knees in front of alive ones.”

The speculation about nuland and usn boats needs more evidence to be convincing, though.

The Story You Aren’t Being Told About Iran Capturing Two American Vessels
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-01-20/story-you-arent-being-told-about-iran-capturing-two-american-vessels
“The airwaves in the United States were filled with images of sailors on their knees while a US Navy vessel was searched. Unjustified outrage swept the nation. The US Secretary of Defense blamed the incident on a simple navigation error, however a chain of events leading back to 2009 demonstrates the facts are a little more complicated than first appear. The chain of events leads defense analysts to one unmistakable conclusion: Iran has the ability to disrupt US GPS systems. For western military analysts, the thought is terrifying. The West uses GPS for much more than replacing a compass and a map.”
An interesting article. I found this comment on the story that I thought was great:
“Navigation error my ass!
Equipment failed on both ships?
No way to communicate back to the mother ship?
Mother ship had no idea where these ships were?
No plan to rescue these ships should they BOTH have engine trouble and BOTH have complete communication failure?
These Semen had no idea of North, S, E, W just by looking at the sky?
The Persian Gulf isn’t that big and if you’re in the middle of it…
1. Head WEST and you’ll eventually beach on the shores of a US ally.
2. Head EAST and you end up in IRAN.
The NAV officer couldn’t figure this out?
Come on… it’s 3PM, the GPS says I’m heading West, but the sun is at my back…something is not right with the GPS…our saliors are that clueless?”
When I first saw the story of the boats,it smelled as being a Navy spec-op gone bad. I still think that.
BTW Scott, there is also a reference to your article there in the comments:
“I like scott@saker’s explanation the most up to now.”
Uncle Bob
That’s awesome!!!
Those young marines were obviously directed to Iran waters. There were Iranian prisoners in the US that had to be released…..and of course, there were US citizens that also needed releasing in Iran. Who the hell knows what they were doing there.
Anyhow, the release of all came, marines, boats, Iranian prisoners, & American prisoners in Iran.
Wouldn’t/didn’t surprise me at all to hear about Israel’s involvement in all this.
Oh, and don’t forget da money Iran is getting.
Another False flag ops for sure.
Someone (natoistan, if I remember correctly) pointed to the John Batchelor Show a couple times, and I’ve listened to a couple editions so far. This talk is on topic:
The John Batchelor Show – A Secret Deal for Ukraine? 1/19/16: Stephen F. Cohen
Prof. Stephen F. Cohen, who appears frequently on the JBS, is always nice to listen to. I like his voice. His point of view is also reasonable, I think. Mainstream but reasonable. I like the show’s style as people get to talk for a longer period of time without being interrupted all the time, like on CrossTalk (the hectic atmosphere of which makes me aggressive). The world view is mainstream (we went to the Moon etc), but appealing to an educated audience. Maybe it’s very well known in the U.S. so my pointer is redundant for North Americans, but foreigners might not know it. I didn’t.
http://johnbatchelorshow.com/
https://audioboom.com/channel/johnbatchelor
about the US marines, Zero Hedge brings an interesting thesis:
“The Story You Aren’t Being Told About Iran Capturing Two American Vessels
The gross underestimation of the Iranian military led to the recent incident in the Persian Gulf. The story being repeated in the western press is one of ten sailors getting lost and ending up in Iranian territorial waters (if the outlet mentions that part). According to Secretary of Defense Carter, “All the contributing factors to that we don’t know yet, and we’re still talking to those folks, and we’ll find out more … but they were clearly out of the position that they intended to be in.”
Two boats lost their GPS abilities at the same time, and the Secretary of Defense isn’t sure what happened? A few US outlets, such as the L.A. Times, reported on the other malfunctions during the incident. Both boats lost radio communication and all other communication during the incident. A single vehicle losing its GPS abilities can happen. It’s rare, but it can happen. Two vehicles losing the systems at the same time borders on implausible, but there is still a possibility of it occurring through Murphy’s Law. The loss of all communication equipment and GPS systems on two boats at the same time means one thing: electronic warfare.”

When Americans think of their backyard they think of building a treehouse or maybe growing a non gmo garden, those with backyards anyway.

Our PM Malcolm Turnbull has just gone grovelling to Obama where he made this rather cryptic comment re Syria ‘there must be boots on the ground to fight ISIS, but they must to be the right boots on the right ground’.
I’ve been wondering about Turnbull. Maybe he’s quietly pursuing Australia’s interests, unlike his predecessors. One thing was that Australia participated in a Chinese naval exercise.
But then I thought I had to be wrong about him because the RAAF buzzed a Chinese island. Then I thought again and wondered if that was the military getting away with what they could without government approval.
On the other hand, Turnbull did talk up the TPP, but maybe that’s because he thinks there’s a good chance the American Congress won’t approve it, and he was pleasing the boss at no cost to himself.
Be interesting to see how he finally turns out.

Israel Begins Security Fence on Border with Jordan
January, 21, 2016 – 00:38
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Israeli regime announced that it has begun building a fence along its border with Jordan.
It will be the latest “security fence” built by Israel, including one separating it from the occupied West Bank, known in Arabic as the “apartheid wall”, and another in the Golan Heights near Syria.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in June that the new fence would be a continuation of a 240km barrier built in 2013 along the Egyptian border.
not much harmony here.
what happened to that monolith of 34 countries cobbled together by S.A. into that “anti-terrorist” coalition just weeks ago?
note how it says S.A. got this UNHRC position.
50 HR Organizations Call for Cancellation of Saudi Membership in UNHRC

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Fifty Arab human rights organizations drew attention to Saudi Arabia’s onslaught against civilians in Yemen, calling for efforts to have the Arab country stripped of its membership in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
In a letter to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, the Arab rights groups touched upon the crimes committed by the Riyadh regime in Yemen since the start of its aggressions, stressing the necessity to cancel the membership of the regime in the UNHRC, the Arabic-language Al-Ahed news website reported.
Saudi Arabia was voted onto the council in what some British politicians say was a secret vote-trading deal in 2013.

It was their plan since decembre.
Otherwise I don’t think there will be any kind of hot war(even less with nukes). These neocons banksters love the money they stole from us too much. They like their confort, they don’t want to die.
Even crazy nethanyahoo doest not want to suicide his fake country.
But take care about Crimea and the link with the Khazars.I’m sure they are preparing some kind of big plot there. When Nuland and co ‘Maidaned’ the Ukraine in the coup, their main goal was to take Crimea over even more than de banderastan or even the Donbass with some shale contracts in sight for Biden junior.
Putin is in danger, that is true.Something strange happened in march 2015.
Remember when Hollande made a stop in Moscow to talk urgently to Putin,I think it was in january 2015 a few weeks before the possible March coup?
What did he had to tell to Putin which was so urgent.
We now have solid informations that De Margerie CEO of Total oil was killed in Moscow,of course it was not an accident.
Same plot against Strauss Khan former IMF chief who was boarding a plane to…Berlin via Paris to talk to Angela about..guess what? The use of both the Euro and the Dollar to replace the monopoly of the petrodollar.Unacceptable of course for the deep state.

The financial war is on full force for the moment.Stocks and commodities are collapsing.
The west is playing ‘with fire’ because in their wish to destroy Russia they will soon end up in destroying KSS and the already plunging EU economy(not to forget the ‘migrants/refugees’ crisis).
If the brent/wti goes too low it will collapse all economies.
Canada is in deep shit,Norway,Venezuela and Algeria of course,KKS is in full depression for the first time ever, all EU countries are broke(today big problem of solvency with mega Italian banks).
Will they short the oil below 20 usd?For then be long on a 60/80 usd bet??Only Soros knows.

It seems that the ‘rape attack’ was coordinated from…the US west coast (see twitter accounts below).

Syria: Has Anyone Stepped Back from the Brink?
http://www.voltairenet.org/article189971.html
I’m sitting here scratching my head in wonder at quite a few things mentioned in this article and some of the comments are so far out in left field or so far off topic as to be useless.
We will never know what Surkov and Nuland talked about. So far neither is talking so kvetching and assuming is roughly akin to fantasy football, whatever that is.
However, we do have a real incident with some real information, that being the two boats. Again, we don’t know what actually happened beyond two US Navy small craft violated Iran’s territorial waters and got taken for their troubles.
There is some conjecture way down the list of comments as to who done what with which and to whom. So far neither the Navy or DoS has come up with the same story at the same time and I’m surely not going to comment on any of that.
My comment will concern the obvious lack of training many in the US Armed Forces have. Way back in time I was heavily involved in training US and other troops. This started during Mr. Reagan’s time and continued through the first six months of Clinton’s first term, at which point it was abruptly halted. The idea was to have soldiers who served or had served in foreign armed forces to train the US boys, the idea being we had a different RoE book than the US boys.
I won’t go in to great detail about the operations, I’ll simply talk, and I won’t talk long, about a couple little things we did, but first, my ‘rank’. I carried First Sergeant rank on my right upper pocket. For those of you who never served, here is the rank structure of the US Army.
Generals, various depending on the number of stars on the shoulder.
Colonel, O6.
First Sergeant, E9
Lt. Colonel, O5
All the rest.
As First Sergeant I had pretty much operational control of the training events, my officers generally just standing back and watching the fun. The very first thing I did after we had the initial touchy-feely introductions where the US boys got to meet these strange guys in foreign uniforms, read generally Sov or DDR with weapons from same, was sit them down and remove all their electronic devices. There weren’t that many back then but I removed their GPS systems, the rudimentary cell phones and their electric watches. I then proceeded to give them a FieldNav 101 course in how to find your way around in the woods and swamps day and night.
I told them they would learn to do things ‘the old way’ for a number of reasons and at the end of the exercise they could have their electric toys back and we’d do one final operation, then do the AAR.
My reasoning behind the removal of electronics was Mr. Murphy has a very clear law stating that reliance on any electronic device and trusting your survival to same is roughly akin to trusting a lady of questionable virtue with your wallet at 01:00 Saturday morning as you sit drunk in some bar.
It is a cast iron rule of field craft that brand new radio or phone batteries will fail in the field about the time Brand X is in your wire and you need to call home to ask mom for some help, your GPS will lie to you as often as the lady of questionable virtue and proceed to petulantly shut down when you question said device’s honesty and your expensive and manly looking electric watch with built in calculator and some games will be roughly synchronized with another one of the same make five time zones away and has no particular fondness for moisture. The truly frightening thing is Mrs. Murphy considers Mr. Murphy to be an unbridled optimist.
Apparently all those young men we trained some two to three decades ago have left service and told not a soul about those strange men who taught them a little field craft and how to fight, really fight, so many years before and our Navy boys on the boats apparently were never informed by their CPO’s on the fine art of travel on water sans electronics. That explains Swift Boat John’s pout after the incident.
Did Russia shut down a US DD in the Black Sea and shut down the Navy boat’s electronics in the gulf? I have no idea, I wasn’t within visual range of either incident and neither were any of you.
Auslander, any time you feel so inclined an update from Krim would be welcome. Hope the winter is going well (considering) over there.
Another Krim sitrep is coming, should be early next week.
The winter in our little harbor and valley is generally soft. Go 20 klicks north or east and it’s a different world, way colder and much more of that gawdawful white stuff.
Auslander, I think there is video of the Russian jet making passes very low over the USS Cook. The incident has never been refuted, that I know of. I think it is more than urban rumor.
As for the Iranians having similar capacity to null out all US communication and navigation and shut motors, it is dubious. But maybe they got some help from Russia.
However, it is more than likely that these are the Don’t Ask generation of Annapolis zombies. America has produced dolts in every sector of society. The military, in particular, the Navy, is the most compliant with Obama’s downgrades. Though every academy has capitulated to acceptance of mediocrity.
Trump has made it a pillar of his campaigns to say the tough generals have been silenced or driven out. Your story is the fundamental history of the last generation. What we have in America today is a joke.
We know the engines or fuel was not the problem. The boats worked fine after the sailor’s release.
Wandering off course because the GPS was hacked or nulled, as you explain, seems bogus for “sailors”.
Could this be a false flag, a plot by Obama’s folks to further embarrass America?
The policy shift to deal with Iran, to draw it into the West’s orbit (for economic reasons) could produce any number of “strange events”.
Too many moving parts in this story to divine “what happened”.
There are reformers and hardliners who benefit in Iran.
There are pro-Iran and anti-Iran who benefit in the US.
There are hardline military and timid military in the Defense Dept. who benefit.
There is Russia.
There is Israel.
There are poorly trained US troops.
And everything we have is worse than second hand. The stories and facts in the stories are all massaged before they are put on the Internet or in Media.
And now we have “rumors” and “double-checked rumors”.
And “retweeted” on Zerohedge.
Give me a break.
You said it straight. No one saw it and no one “commenting” knows diddly squat about it.
I have seen that video with the DD, my friend, mere minutes after the event, and the Dry (if I remember correctly it was a Dry but me being a ground pounder they all look the same in the sights) was off the starboard quarter at about 700 meters, low and not fast. However, I have not spoken to the pilot and doubt I ever will, his world is a bit different from we poor ground sloggers. Whatever happened it is obvious that once the Cook regained control of it’s bowels it managed to break a plane as it headed west. That may have been partially because once the lights came back on he realized he had more than one nasty little missile launching device locked on to his young butt, devices for which there is no known defense.
As for the boats, those boys don’t look ‘Navy’ to me, they look like jarheads, although today it is jarheads with anything above Recruit 1 with no career. I don’t know what happened and I’ll probably never know and if I do find out it will be something I can’t comment on. Such is life. Bottom line USMC was humiliated again and more’s the pity for that, most Marines I’ve met, trained and trained with were pretty good boys and not dumbs//ts by any stretch of the imagination and this observation takes in to account that they were serving under minimum two different flags.
I readily admit, I’m a dinosaur. My western world of honor and integrity is long gone if it ever existed, drowned in political correctness and the rights and desires of the tiny minority over riding the rights, thoughts and desires of the vast majority. Far be it from me to understand, or even care, what happened and why, I am realist enough to understand there is nothing I could have done or could do today to change things, nothing, that is, but lead my life with the honor and integrity I was raised with and served with.
Auslander
MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. There is no such thing as the “Crimean issue” and therefore it is not subject to discussion, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said about Kiev’s speculations about the possibility of some negotiations over the peninsula’s future in the expanded Geneva format. ’ “The issue of Crimea does not exist as such,” Peskov said. “Naturally, it will be impossible to discuss it.” Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko earlier declared intention to create an international group for starting negotiations on Crimea’s return to Ukraine in a Geneva Plus format, with the European Union, the United States and, possibly, other countries taking part.

Ukraine is hopelessly politicizing the Crimea theme within the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), Yevgeny Stanislavov, director of the economic cooperation department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told journalists on Friday as he presented a program of Russia’s BSEC presidency at the organization’s headquarters. “Crimea and Sevastopol remain parts of the Black Sea region after their reunification with Russia. That is why BSEC cooperation should embrace these Russian regions like Sochi, for example,” Stanislavov said. “In our case, we have to deal with an extremely politicized and emotional stance of our Ukrainian colleagues who keep saying that they do not recognize the realities existing in the Black Sea region and actively impel other countries to support this futile stance literally at every gathering,” the Russian diplomat said.

This is interesting, but I’m really not sure how much of it I buy. It seems thin. Lots of drama, little evidence.
Quite an interesting take by Scott on the Ziocon Princess Nuland’s stop in Kaliningrad!
Putin obviously downplayed her significance by dumping none other than … Surkov to absorb her histrionics.
The natural question, however, is whether the Ziocon “state within a state” is actually plotting something (perhaps to compensate for their temporary loss, http://thesaker.is/israel-vs-iran-israel-loses-big-time/ ).
And then, is the simultaneous Putin’s meeting with the RF Federation Council members merely coincidental?
(BTW, ambassador M.K. Bhadrakumar wrote in Asia Times, on 18 January 2016, a related article, Ukraine: Euromaidan’s godmother engages Kremlin grey cardinal, http://atimes.com/2016/01/ukraine-euromaidans-godmother-engages-kremlin-grey-cardinal/ , although from a different angle.)
I like SCOTTs rants, normally, but lately they are becoming more and more not serious. Not worthy of this site and the great analysis we are normally presentet.
SCOTT, please take more time when writing please dont use random youtube videos to “prove” a point. We still love you :)
condesceding tone does not help.
also, please qualify the “we”. thanks.
alternatively, it is always best to speak for yourself only and not draw the “we” into it. because the “we” may not share your view.
did anyone catch the USA meeting on TV Ash Carter last night with their associated defence ministers of their coalition , meeting to do more re Syria?Still saying they can train people wiling to fight Daesh etc etc????
Wot a bunch of hopeless decrepits they looked……….

Syrian diplomat said that the silence of the Security Council about the grave human rights violations in the territories occupied by Israel, inspired by his military on new crimes against the Arab population.
He deplored the fact that some members of the Security Council deliberately ignored the tremendous efforts of the Syrian government to protect civilians from crime gangs.

Syrian report from Jan 20th anna -news(their website is much better, great ,guys)
“Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed plans for talks on Syria scheduled for January 25 in Geneva. Both ministers stressed the importance of further progress in the issue of a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Syria. “Russia and the US believe that the UN Security Council resolution on Syria remains the basis for the settlement process,” – said Lavrov.
The political process in Syria is due to start later this month, but the date will be called the UN Secretary General. Neither the Russian nor the United States in these negotiations will not participate, and the arguments of the “third party” in the upcoming talks “can not be,” said the minister.
Lavrov and Kerry agreed that the terrorist organization “Islamic State” and the separation of “al-Qaeda” – “Al-Nusra Front” will not participate in the political process and are not covered by the truce. The cease-fire in Syria must come together with the start of negotiations mezhsiriyskih.
Moscow is ready to more closely coordinate with Washington its activities in Syria on humanitarian issues and the fight against terrorism, also said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov: “We have confirmed the need to address the humanitarian problems in Syria, we talked about how videoconferencing plan their operations into account all programs that Syria implement the UN humanitarian agencies, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other non-governmental organizations. They said that we are ready to co-ordinate more closely their actions with the US coalition in this direction, but more importantly, what we talked about – is coordination, in particular all the anti-terrorist actions. We talked about the situation in Iraq, in Libya. Our overall conclusion regarding the various conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa is that both Russia and the United States firmly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all States in the region. First of all, this applies to Syria and Iraq, because in respect of these countries can sometimes hear the judgment that it would be nice to create in their place a few states. Both Russia and the United States strongly opposed this, we in our practical steps with other partners, including in the region to do everything to prevent such a scenario. ”
Over the past day aircraft aerospace forces of Russia in the Syrian Arab Republic completed 16 sorties in 57 terrorist infrastructure. Due to adverse weather conditions and avoid risks to civilians, Russian aircraft to perform combat missions in the provinces only – Lattakia and Deir ez-Zor.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to continue to conduct humanitarian relief operations to civilians in areas blocked by militants ATS. In cooperation with the Syrian side is preparing for landing in a blocked Deir ez-Zor next consignment of humanitarian goods.
US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter expressed the opinion that Russia is pursuing a wrong policy toward Syria. “Russian make strategic mistakes, and sometimes – and tactical”, – he said after meetings with key US allies in Paris. He said that therefore “there is no basis for broader cooperation” with Moscow. Carter promised to crush the “power centers” group “Islamic State” (IG). He said that with the “cancer” called the IG will be finished “by smashing his two centers of power – in Rakka and Mosul, and by combating metastatic tumor of the IG over the world.”
Carter declared that after three weeks in Brussels held an unprecedented meeting with participation of defense ministers of the 26 countries included in the coalition against the IG. “Every country should come to the meeting prepared to discuss further contribute to the fight against the IG,” – said Carter.
The meeting in Paris attended by the defense ministers of Australia, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and the United States.
Minister of Justice of Israel Ayelet Shaked called for the establishment of an independent Kurdistan, and expand dialogue between Israel and the Kurds.
Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs will consider as a priority the government bill to confer the status of war veterans troops participating in the operation against terrorists in Syria, said the head of the committee Olga Batalina…… follow link and use translator (if needed)

Mods, if too long , please adjust with maybe an extract?
cheers
jj, thank you for your understanding for Saker’s request that comments should not be too long. In this case I decided to cut the military sitrep part and keep the rest. I hope the readers will get used to volontarily take the little trouble of using translators to read reports in other languages. The World is so much bigger than the “english-speaking” part of it. (KL)
thanks mods! Although occcaisionally i do post a long post from various links (usually TASS or anna-news)trying to connect the dots and sense the overall picture and add a bit more if related later but I try to keep it to relevant info not opinion)
but usually do it with just extracts…….feel free anytime to moderate as you wish….

“Aside from his bilateral meeting with his counterpart and “good friend,” French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, the US Defense Secretary Carter sat down for the first with seven major members of the anti-Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) coalition. The “face-to-face meeting” included Britain, Germany, Italy, Australia and the Netherlands, all trying to figure out in what ways they could boost their fight against Islamic militants…………………..We’re doing this by providing a plan, clear leadership and the power of a global coalition wielding a suite of capabilities [that include] airstrikes, special forces, cyber tools, intelligence, equipment, mobility and logistics, and training, advice and assistance,” Carter said……”……….etc etc bwuhahahhahaha etc etc
Clear division between the neo-con infested Department of Defence and the State Department.
Carter is openly and unilaterally pursuing a different foreign policy to the White House.
He makes Obomber look like the ‘house negro ‘ with his complete disregard for the Commander-in-chief.
A functional administration would have carpeted and fired him long ago.
Thank you so much for this article and it’s fascinating insight. The work of The Saker is very much appreciated by this reader.
Hi Scott. I like your humor although most of it goes over my head. Humor depends on a sophisticated audience that is in on the in house jokes. For a newcomer with plenty of naivete like me it can be quite confusing.
The commenters here are small in number compared to the viewers. They may be analysts, academics, lawyers, military, government officials, misinformants, truthers, mystics and who knows what? Some names are real and some are not.
I attended a weekly discussion group last evening where the people are mostly well known to each other, except for the occasional new-comers. In some respects it’s more real than a virtual group like this but in other respects it’s more unreal since there is not the freedom of anonymity.
A year or so ago I was upset with you because I did misinterpreted your style. But ironically you misinterpreted my style. Our individual minds are a wonder to behold in their diversity. This missive will no doubt be misinterpreted according to my interpretation.
When I read the title to this piece I thought it was a typo. I mean Scott making war on NATO?
That being said, there is a consensus of the vineyard. Some call it a community of the competent. Too much of that though and the batch goes sour. We need individuals with divergent views and rare talents like yourself and so many like you.
Hi again. I just read the title again and see that I misinterpreted it. Now “NATO attack by Scott” seems to mean that Scott is part of NATO rather than Scott attacking NATO. I surmise that the NATOists are greatly relieved that Scott and God are on their side.
Dennis,
Thanks, comrade.
I’m sitting here, laughing.
Never to worry. NATO is as Godless and Scott-less as they come.
hi scott
wonder if you came accross an article appareltly published on novorossia site )though i don’t find it) in which it is postulated that on one of the us boats incapacitated by iran/russia, there was a prominent isis commander the us marines were in the business of infiltrating into a iraq.
i found that article fro novorossia today.
excerpt:
To how the American mainstream propaganda media has covered up this entire sordid affair including changing its date from 29 December to 12 January proving, once again, the Obama regimes direct complicity in directing the Islamic State terrorists in Syrian and Iraq, this report concludes, borders on the “absolute comical” as the many versions of what exactly they keep saying happened has kept changing by the hour/day/week (US Navy boats broke down/US Navy boats had navigational errors) and they have “deliberately decoupled” the capture of these US Navy boats with the firing upon the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier by Iranian naval forces—but which Admiral Fadavi bluntly stated: “The incident [Iran firing missiles against the USS Harry Truman] occurred during Iran’s seizure Tuesday [29 December] of two US naval boats.”

super interesting to say the least..

something from Nuland in Jan 2016 visited Baltics to up the USA game:
Here it should be mentioned that Washington wants to share complicity in a potential conflict with other NATO countries. In January 2016, Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland (sadly memorable for its Kiev “cookies) before you go to Kaliningrad for talks with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov, spent several days in Lithuania. There, in the town of Trakai was held “Snow meeting”, in which European and US diplomats, experts in the field of foreign and security policy discussed regional situation, as well as preparation for the summer NATO summit in Warsaw. As a result of this event Nuland said the Lithuanian press about plans to create a so-called “Baltic Brigade.” “Thought so, that at the present time in each of the Baltic countries are ready to co-operate company of the receiving State and the US company located there. And we ask: can this join another ally, which would be carried out in the region of its regular rotation of forces? How can we connect these companies to the general result proved to be a military battalion, which is in constant combat readiness? United States, without a doubt, support the idea that coming here and other NATO allies – and connected to our ground forces here in the east, “- said Nuland.
Needless to say, the Baltic satellites Washington embraced this idea with enthusiasm. In particular, warmly responded to the Minister of Defence of Estonia Hanno Hannes: “The United States understands very well the challenges to the security of our region. According to the Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland reflect exactly what he wants to Estonia – are located to the international battalion, which would conduct exercises constantly together with the Estonian military. To the constant presence of NATO allies here it would have been fixed by the contract. ” Immediately “cut through” and Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevics. Nuland He complained that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said recently about the upcoming deployment of three new major divisions near the borders of the Baltic states. Therefore, according to Rinkevich in response necessary to ensure a permanent presence in the region, military forces of NATO countries.
In other words, the US wants to here on a long term basis present forces of other member states of the alliance. And in case – God forbid! – Any incident, these countries may also be involved in the conflict.””

Surprizingly enough, I check the Economist website and looked at all the 2015 covers. This very famous one just… doesn’t existe…
Why the hell am I the only one to perform what is quite simple a verification ?
klod,
What are you talking about?

As Russia is surrendering on all fronts – even Qatar has been promised a pipeline, isn’t it more likely that Nuland was discussing terms for an easing of sanctions? The US has already won. Ukraine will not be joining the EEU. The next step is to keep Russia out of the EU by keeping the Donbass conflict alive. An EU with Russia inside it is the only serious threat imaginable to US dominance. It removes the need for NATO. China may be big but it is very weak. Putin is now the CIA’s major asset. He, or someone worse like Surkov, will keep Russian Europhobia at a high level. Russia’s economic woes are only beginning. The collapse in the workforce is next. It will take effort to keep Russia away from the EU.
A few years ago, the Royal Marines also lost their way on the sea border with Iran on the Shatt-Al-Arab. The borders are not straight lines and close attention is required to stay on the correct side. The Marines were rather relaxed about it as they didn’t perceive a conflict with the Iranians. A retired SAS brigadier lampooned them on BBC radio. His guys would never allow such a thing, surrender or talk!
They aren’t “marines.” They were all US navy personnel, as was immediately obvious by their uniform, not members of the USMC. Your articles remain very casual and sloppy about facts, and this does little for their credibility.
