Friends,
I will be honest with you: the murder of Mozgovoi hit me like a punch in the stomach, just as had happened with Buzina my first thought upon hearing the news was “Oh God – not him!”. I did not always agree with everything these two man said, but they were dear to my heart for their immense, truly shining, honesty and courage. At a time when the world is full of lukewarm, unprincipled, cynical “leaders”, Buzina and Mozgovoi truly did shine by their absolute honesty.
Even though I am in a state of total disgust and anger, I want to share a few simple thoughts with you:
1) While it is pretty darn obvious who killed Buzina, it is too early to establish who killed Mozgovoi. Those “armchair generals” who are already pointing the finger at this or that person or group are only making things worse and, objectively, doing Kiev’s bidding.
2) An attack like the one which happened today is not something organized in 24 hours. So those who are linking this murder with this or that recent event are by definition wrong.
3) It is all well and dandy to blame Kiev yet again, but even if the regime in Kiev (or Uncle Sam himself) did order this murder, then the authorities in Lugansk are at the very least guilty of criminal negligence.
4) I have a very hard time imagining that the otherwise hapless Ukronazi freaks in Kiev would have the means to regularly kill Novorussian commanders deep inside the LNR. As for Blackwater/Academi or CIA assassins, this is even less likely.
5) I personally find the hypothesis that this murder was ordered by Putin absolutely ridiculous. Likewise, I find that Surkov ordered such a murder “behind Putin’s back” equally preposterous. So I am certain that this was not a “Kremlin ordered hit”.
So, not Kiev and not Moscow – but then who?
This is an extremely dangerous and divisive question which must be asked, but asked very carefully and only on the basis of facts.
The logical place to go look for answers is Lugansk and around those interest groups associated with that Republic. Still, at this point in time I would not confuse legitimate questions and accusations.I have to be honest here and admit that I am generally rather unimpressed with the LNR authorities and I personally doubt that they will come up with some real answers. I hope that I will be proven wrong, but I am not holding my breath. I will say that if the LNR authorities are unable or unwilling to clean house, then somebody else will have to do that.
At a time when crucial negotiations are taking place against the backdrop of an apparently inevitable Ukronazi attack the Kremlin simply cannot afford to have Lugansk taken over by the rot of local political intrigues and assassinations.
Right now, I am too sad, disgusted and angry to add anything else.
The Saker
PS: apparently, the trolls are out in full force again, repeating the “The Kremlin did it!!” idiocy like a mantra. Whether we are dealing with paid Pentagon employees, low-IQ “hurray patriots” or simply garden variety idiots matters little: their hysterics only make things worse for Novorussia. I have better things to do than to argue with them, and if they get out of control I would recommend that the mods start re-directing their nonsense were it belongs: the trash bin.
And, let us not forget about Evgeny Ishchenko.
It’s a sad day, indeed.
If the Russian General Staff vehicles came under fire as Duff reports, then the Ukies are playing with fire. Especially after Georgian special ops shot up and captured the two Russian troopers.
This is what almost happened to Mozgovoi several weeks back. Everyone is very aware of who he spoke against. It wasn’t the enemy in Ukie uniforms. It was the corrupt leaders of Lugansk.
Batman was taken out and now Brain. Those are elite leaders of elite units.
As things look to settle into place with Minsk 2 limiting expansion, the powerful will sink their teeth deeper into the militia leadership. The culture is criminal in that region. Strelkov used to talk about it.
It was the same hit done right this time compared to last time.
If the Russian General Staff vehicles came under fire as Duff reports,
I can confirm. Lieutenant Lentsov came under attack today.
For those who do not know him here is a link to machine translated bio in the Russian Wikipedia:

Here is what is left of his car:

At least Lentsov was not hurt…
So, Larchmonter445 and The Saker, are you saying the Novorussian side attacked Lentsov and killed Mozgovoi?
Not at all. I’ve written several times in several places that this is the exact replication of the first attack on Brain. This one was successful. It is part of the power struggle (cleansing of leaders) by the criminal hierarchy in Luhansk. Proof? None. My evidence is circumstantial. Brian was an outrider and he didn’t even want to submit his Brigade to a coordinated command. He had many enemies and he spoke openly against many above him in Luhansk and Donetsk militia.
Like Batman and others, he was eliminated. His brigade, most likely will be broken up.
The General’s car was attacked near Golovka, close to the battle lines. Ukies or Americans or Georgians using small arms attacked it. This is the Donetsk region.
Brain was killed in Luhansk.
No connection.
General Lentsov will be a real prize if the Ukies can kill. However, I imagine the RF will do what the SU did in Lebanon back in the day. They have a way of taking revenge. I’d imagine 1000 scalps, so to speak, would be taken.
All the Brain stuff, in my very limited view, is internecine. He was anti-corruption and the hierarchy is into criminal behaviors.
The incident with the Lt. General from RF is incitement. the Ukies are desperate to keep the money flowing and the West in general no longer sees the war as very useful. So, anything the Ukies can do to get the Russians to attack will be tried.
Killing the top Russian officer would be something very special.
This can explain the attack against Russian members of JCCC team
http://www.kyivpost.com/content/ukraine/ukrainian-defense-ministry-says-osce-inflating-fighting-figures-387535.html
IMHO it was actually an attack against the JCCC itself but shooting EU members would be to much to swallow even for EU bureaucrats.
As the story says, both sides keep thinking OSCE is favouring or even spying for the other side.
This time Kiev is probably right that OSCE is overstating how often they’ve been shooting. This is because most of it is being done by Right Sector guys, who are not completely under the control of the Army (or Internal Affairs). So junta can act innocent while the damage gets done anyway.
They only shot up the JCCC car when they were not in it (It was parked). Meant as a threat rather than a killing. Maybe even an opportunistic drunken stupidity.
]The General is there by some kind of international agreement, not as a combatant; I doubt Russia would start a war over his being shot. More a diplomatic incident material. And big blot again Kiev. I mean really, how could they spin that against Russia?
Kat Kan, Kiev may complain that OSCE has been overstating how many times the UAF has been shooting; but in my view that complaint would be entirely unjustified. Kiev can’t have it both ways: either it is the legal government of the whole country, or it isn’t. As far as the DNR and LNR are concerned, Kiev has the adequate excuse that its writ does not run there, so it is physically unable to control events. But on its own side of the border, Kiev must be held fully responsible for everything that happens – whether it is done by the official UAF or by terrorist groups like Right Sector.
The evidence that Mozgovoi was anti-corruption is the amount of time and energy he devoted to accusing all the civil authorities and competing aid solicitors of corruption. Period.
His word does not prove corruption. It does prove that he is mutinous and seditious, sowing division and internecine warfare with every means at his disposal. He has called for the execution by hanging of all the civil authorities of both republics. Many, many times.
After his performance, of lack of one, at Debaltsevo, he would have been court-martialled and shot in most armies.
Karma.
Hi Cassandra….well, that’s a different take. Who do you think did it ?
Well, Ann, as you say, you’ll hear a different take from me:
I don’t know.
However, this is not new. I have been off Mozgovoi since I realized he was trying to organize a military dictatorship, to replace Zakharchenko, in league with Strelkov.
Do you remember this, the Military Council that was to be held just in time to preempt the elections?
Before the Military Council, Strelkov video in support from Russia
If Alex is taken to organize the military council, I am 100% sure that this will be a positive event, you need at the moment. . And I believe that all the warlords Novorossia need to collect in order to determine its position. The enemy threat is removed, and the fact that the resistance remains highly fragmented, uncoordinated – it is a huge threat.
Whatever ended the military council – in any case it will not be useless. Indeed, in the situation that has developed, certainly needs to begin.
After the Military Council, Mozgovoy thanks non-participants
The planned military council did not take place. “Lord” are able to convince … On the appointed date, almost all of the commanders who so loudly supported the Council, did not come. Huge thanks to all for that! Now though it is clear who does what and who breathes what purposes.
“Lord” is Zakharchenko, who has obviously been successfully deprogramming the Strelkov supporters among the field commanders, notwithstanding that Strelkov announced from exile that they had 100% of the Lugansk troops and a majority of the Donetsk.
As Larchmonter says, Mozgovoi had many enemies, or phrased another way, Mozgovoi was the enemy of many people. Give a thought to Zakharchenko sleeping easier in his bed tonight.
Thanks Cassandra. Yes, Mozzy was one of the first to be seen during the time of Strelkov…I think I remember that. He was friends with Strelkov and refused to submit when Strelkov was taken off the job.
I was still saddened though…but I never quite understood his videos. They didn’t seem to be really related to reality in a way. Idealistic. But then I heard Mozzy was a very good fighter. Was there a friendship between him and Batman ?
Larchmonter445
It is part of the power struggle (cleansing of leaders) by the criminal hierarchy in Luhansk. Proof? None.
That’s what I thought, nothing substantial, or worth paying any attention to.
Keep in mind that even if there was internecine struggle and Mozgovoi was killed for that it doesn’t mean he was killed by the ones he was struggling with — the fascists have preferences for who they want to see as leaders. If some of the leaders are corrupt they would want to see those in power — perhaps even Kiev getting money or having influence through them. This is typical of the way the empire works, preferring one side in a struggle over another and acting to make those they favor stronger and weakening those they don’t want.
well, it sure seems like the same people who killed Batman and the mayor..killed Mozzy. How horrible. I hope nothing happens to Givi.
Ann, Batman was killed by his own side, they admitted it officially.
that’s dispicable. But Batman was such a good fighter ? Was he a friend of Mozzy ?
Ann, Batman was killed by his own side, they admitted it officially.
Do you have a link for that, Ralph? It takes a special kind of crazy for a government to admit it’s been executing people in the streets…
Poppadop
it was a while ago, I don’t have links either. But…. a few hours after the killing, the LPR Prosecutors office issued a statement that they had warrants for his arrest (for things like unlawful imprisonment, torture etc) and he had died while resisting arrest. So they were not admitting to execution. Just resisted arrest, like hundreds of young blacks in the USA every year.
There was a smidgin of truth in the charges. Like all warlords Batman had a “basement”, a place he kept people he’d arrested (there being no state police system at the time and he having sole charge of a particular area). Someone had complained of being tortured, all complained of bad conditions, no mattresses and not much food. This was the same in all basements and food was in short supply for everybody. He used to arrest drug dealers and people there were assault complaints against.
Nobody believed the resist arrest story, especially as video showed his convoy had been ambushed from both sides with flamethrowers or anti-tank weapons. Heck, it was the “cops” did it so nobody really wanted to complain too loud. About 2000 people went to his funeral. Plotnitski (the Prime Minister) got called to Moscow to explain. Must have told a good story, as he was allowed back. But I don’t think he’d want to let his people do something similar ever again.
Just resisted arrest, like hundreds of young blacks in the USA every year.
KK, you realize that’s a mark against the US government, right? Police are supposed to inform suspects that they are under arrest and minimize loss of life, not “[ambush them] from both sides with flamethrowers or anti-tank weapons” and “hit every body left… with a ‘control’ shot into the head.”
If the LPR really has a hit squad pretending it’s the police, they won’t need to be taken over by Ukrainian troops; the region’s already falling to the dark side.
You Know Who is only going to stop this Phoenix project nonsense when the whole world finds out not only U.S.-trained Georgians but Polish mercs are sent home in body bags from Donbass after ‘not being there’. Let NATO spokesman in Moscow Robert Psz-too many vowels explain that one on Russian TV and pretend they were all ‘vacationers’ or ‘volunteers’ too or that the GROM sniper died in a Taliban attack in Afghanistan when everybody knows it happened outside Peski.
And “you know who” is? I am not sure about your particular conspiracy obession.
The pheonix connection is about the CIA
Эксперт: Машину Мозгового «вели» до засады пулеметчиков
(Yandex)Expert: Brain Machine “led” to ambush gunners
Military expert Mikhail Tymoshenko is sure that the murder brigade “Ghost” not like political.
To the commander of the mechanized brigade “Ghost” Alexey Mozgovoy hunted because of his military victories — such opinion on air LifeNews announced military expert Mikhail Timoshenko. According to him, the elimination of one of the leaders of the Lugansk militia cannot be called accidental success of the Ukrainian saboteurs for Cerebral watched for a long time, hunted and “escorted” to ambush gunners.
It was an ambush. The small arms fire, as a rule, is not fixed nor monitoring commissions, nor the OSCE mission, and shoot up the place with a machine gun is very simple, ” said the expert. Is necessary to admit that the Brain machine “led.” Then there was the Luhansk on your side for Ukrainians the person who said that the brigade commander is coming from Alchevsk on a machine with a specific number.
However, the military expert is absolutely sure that the killing of the brigade commander is non-political in nature. According to him, the Ukrainian army took revenge on the Brain for the tremendous loss of the APU, including during the events of Debaltsevo, where a significant role was played by the soldiers of the brigade “Ghost”.
Attempt to kill the soldier cannot be called an assassination attempt. Still, it’s a word more applicable to politicians and government officials, and Brain — soldier to the bone, not a politician: he is a man of concrete actions, not promises, ” said the expert. And he accepted death for their military services.
Recall that the commander of the brigade “Ghost”, his spokeswoman Anna, two guards, and the security chief of Brain Callsign Song died, coming under fire in the area of Mikhailovka. In front of the minibus, which was the brigade commander and his companions blew up a mine and then shot from small arms, including machine gun.
Shortly before the death of the commander of the brigade “Ghost” frankly talked to reporters LifeNews. In addition, LifeNews published an interview with Alexey Mozgovoy, recorded after a previous assassination attempt on the evening of 7 March.
I doubt the murder of Mozgovoi is Ukropia´s job.
There is no sign of praising PR.
They would have take the advantage to celebrate their diversants and yell the usual “Slava Usraine…”
Why bother ? There’s no point for Kiev to loudly announce that they are asssassinating enemy leaders…
Killing the enemy generals was a tactic developed by the soviets and polished up by the US. There are some great book on how US snipers taking days would kill Iraqi or Vietnamese generals in the field. A single general would be worth a thousand soldiers. One guy lay in the field for 3 days about 2 clicks away. Took him 3 days to crawl to where he could shoot the general. It was supposed to stop a Vietcong attack but that attack happened anyway.. But the Germans who were far better organized, could not replace leaders like that and killing so many officers had a big effect on the coordination and efficiency in their attacks. It is the single biggest reason why no high ranking US officers are ever in the field and they never wear any insignia showing their rank. They are so paranoid that the generals never leave base camp far away from the battle field. So I am not sure how effective US general would be to an op even with all the real time communications they have now. A general telling you in the face to take out that position is far different than someone yelling at you to do it and there are bullets flying all around. Even the ottomans had commanders in the field leading their armies and last I saw Russians also have commanders in the field and seems so does the ukies.
Also something else, a general is not a soldiers, he develops tactics.. Which you can only get a feel for in the battle field. The guy who started WW1 never saw the front lines and could never understand why his troops were getting slaughtered by the serbs who were outnumbered by his men 10 to 1. If he saw the front lines he would have known there was no way to take a fortified position head on like he ordered his men to die for. His little maps showed small hills that did not look difficult. The US also learnt this the hard way on hamburger hill. You have to anticipate what the enemy will do. You cant do that if you never seen a guy pop out of a tunnel and mow your position. Until I see like the Russians and Chinese change tactics I think their experience says even high value targets need to see combat. Keeping them safe would require massive effort. They are not easily replaced. But I think we can also see the US failures everywhere.
Apparently the attack is part of an organised campaign:
В Донбассе обстрелян автомобиль с российскими представителями центра по контролю и координации
(Mach trans)In the Donbas shelled a car with Russian representatives at the center of control and coordination
At the line of contact in the Donbass today was shot car with Russian officers from the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (STSKK), RIA Novosti reported.
23/05/2015, 22:22
“About 17 hours 40 minutes May 23 in the Donetsk region at the intersection of the line of contact between parties to the conflict in the south-east of Ukraine between checkpoints “Gorlovka”, controlled by armed groups Donetsk People’s Republic, and “Maori”, controlled by the armed forces of Ukraine, from automatic weapons were fired at the car of a joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination (STSKK), which were the head of the Russian representation in STSKK Colonel General Alexander Lentsov and two officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from its membership “, – said the representative of STSKK.
Opening phase of a new zionazi-nazi attack on Novorussia, or a switch in strategy to that of covert special ops and terrorism? More info on the simultaneous attack on the Russian cease-fire monitoring team near Gorlovka:
Машину с российскими офицерами СЦКК обстреляли в Донбассе
(Yandex)In the Donbass fired at the car in which there were Russian officers of the Joint center for control and coordination, said the representative of the center from Russia.
“About 17.40 minutes may 23, in the Donetsk region while crossing the contact line of the parties to the conflict in southeastern Ukraine between posts “Gorlovka”, controlled by armed militias Donetsk national Republic, and “Mayors”, controlled by the armed forces of Ukraine, from automatic small arms were fired at the car of the Joint center for control and coordination, which was the head of the Russian representation in SCCC Colonel-General Alexander Lentsov and two officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of its composition,” he said.
According to the spokesman, luckily, no one was in the car, passengers from the Russian representative office at SCCC, and also the driver from among members of the armed forces of Ukraine did not suffer”, reports TASS.
He noted that the UAZ on which of the working visit, the officers returned to the headquarters of the SCCC in the town of Soledar, suffered serious injuries and a further motion to continue failed: broken front wheel, the radiator in several places damaged the vehicle body.
From 21 to 23 may, Colonel-General Lentsov with a group of officers SCCC was in the village of Shirokino (Novoazovskiy district, Donetsk region), where he oversaw the observance of the ceasefire.
The village of Shirokino near Mariupol remains a major hot spot in the Donbass. It was there that the observers Special monitoring mission of OSCE in Ukraine recorded the most intensive battles.
Obviously this attack on Colonel-General Lentsov was timed to coincide with that of Mozgovoi, part of a structured covert ops campaign. It’s certainly no accident or coincidence the Israeli-Americans specifically targeted the Russian general at the same time as the attack on Mozgovoi.
The structured ops campaign seems likely. Guardian have the story top centre on their world news page which is very unusual. They have been heavy on the pro Kiev propaganda lately but this seems odd.
http://www.theguardian.com/world
special forces. American ….
For those arguing for a coordinated attack:
Some distance away, in Damascus, there was a targeted attack on a Syrian general. Not sure yet whether he was killed or not. That came shortly after the mortar attack on the Russian embassy there,
When I see three points on a graph and can draw a line (within errors), the possibility of a patern emerges.
Obviously, something is going on – between the kidnapping of the militia Russia volunteers (an obvious special ops), the killing of Mozgovoi (something that could be easily blamed on internal strife in LNR), the attack on Lentsov in DPR and the attack on the Russian embassy in Damascus, followed by an attack on a general, there are two commonalities:
(1) they all could have occurred only with good intel (possibly including deeply embedded “insiders”)
(2) they all were targeting Russian interests, one way or another, but not so egregiously that Russia would be obliged to respond immediately and obviously (for example, the damage could be limited, like to Lentsov’s car. Or the embassy). It’s more like Israel’s IOF (Israel Offense Forces) with their “ping on the roof”. A not so veiled notice, given with at the last moment, implying that the “next one will be for real”.
(3) there’s evidence of professionalism that’s hard to attribute to either the hapless Uktrops, or the local Syrian terrorist organizations.
In my opinion, we are seeing a serious “order to escalate” by the Deep State, taking advantage of whatever division there’s on the ground, using specialized ops that have some access to “inside information”.
In Mozgovoi’s case, I’d say it’s advisable not to jump to conclusions. Strife in the LNR is too obviously to Kiev’s – and therefore Deeps West’s – advantage, whoever and however the assassination was executed. It is patently obvious who the fingers would be pointing at in the aftermath and Plotkin surely needs this like a hole in the head right now. Strelkov is a card that someone somewhere thinks they hold but he may not think there’s even a game going on. Pointing at Putin is as silly as it was in Memtsov’s case, but one can rest assured the coordinated media hoopla in the west will point anyways because they always do.
I say that in murky situations like this, it’s best to keep the Qui Bono in mind. It’s not always obvious at the beginning, but when the dust settles, perhaps a certain clarity will descend.
“Kremlin did it” mantra serves its purpose, it is all about antagonizing people this way or another. So that half of Ukraine would hate Russia because they don’t want Russia, and another half because they want Russia but traitors in Kremlin abandoned them.
Very perfidious mind games are played here.
So that half of Ukraine would hate Russia because they don’t want Russia, and another half because they want Russia but traitors in Kremlin abandoned them.
EXACTLY!
So to prevent the second part. The Kremlin must show they aren’t doing that,by not doing it.
How about the Kremlin send Surkov, Zurabov, and Kurginyan to the Donbass to try to convince people that they care?
Shoygu.
We can dream..:(
To Eimar …. and have him assassinated ? No way.
Ann: danger always stalks the visible power-holders. Location isn’t really the issue, I was thinkin more a long the lines of morale-boosting. That can be done through communications.
Won’t happen of course. Too politically sensitive.
Nevertheless, I take your point. :)
Dear The Saker,
I am very sad at the news of his death and hope his family are ok and will be looked after. Many of us have worried that the high profile leaders may be taken out at some point. Condolences to the other people who died and the children and families who are left behind.
As you say it is vip not to jump to conclusions and to wait and see what comes out. The trolls and useful idiots love to divide and rule and people need to be careful.
It was interesting that the Russian jccc forces were also attacked in Donetsk – someone is spoiling for a fight. Russia needs to tighten her borders and be very careful.
http://tass.ru/en/world/796437
Earlier this week 2 Russians were singled out and kidnapped in the LPR and obviously tortured – is there a link?
Gutted :( so few genuine, loyal and honest people out there.
The people in Novorussia should not allow this to start internally impacting them and need to stand united during this very sad time.
Rgds,
Veritas
“As you say it is vip not to jump to conclusions and to wait and see what comes out. The trolls and useful idiots love to divide and rule and people need to be careful”
I agree. Now is not the time to make assupmtions on who is responsible.
It is the time to remember this exemplary man.
Remember when you ASSUME,
you make an ASS – out of U – and ME
May God bless his family.
Goodbye to our Poet – Warrior hero.
We will always remember your smile and your intense love for life.
Thank you Alexei.
The “murder of Mozgovoi hit me like a punch in the stomach” too. All I could do was shout out No! when I heard it.
This interview with Mozgovoi in the British Independent on May 18 is interesting and prescient especially the last four paragraphs:
“If we are to live by our conscience, everything will work out for us,” he says. He takes a long pause, before continuing. “But, oh, how hard it is to live by conscience.”
Mr Mozgovoi’s independent approach has not been received well by everyone. Some, indeed, question whether he will be able to survive for long in the wild frontier lands of the “Luhansk People’s Republic”.
Over the past six months, several of the most unwieldy rebel leaders have been removed – and many assume Mr Mozgovoi is next on the list. It is well known that Mr Mozgovoi is on difficult terms with the Kremlin-annointed leader of the Luhansk republic, Igor Plotnitsky.
Mr Mozgovoi, with steely gaze, tells The Independent that he has considered such an eventuality: “They wouldn’t risk making anybody a hero, but let’s just say we’re prepared for such a turn of events.”
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ukraine-crisis-separatist-rebel-commander-aleksey-mozgovoi-says-he-is-ready-for-more-deaths–and-warns-ceasefire-with-kiev-wont-hold-10259509.html
Of course the Ukrofascists may have been behind this but ultimately it is the oligarchs who are behind the killing of the man who stood for an anti-oligarch revolution On which side were mercenaries who did this who knows?. Basurin is reporting the Kiev forces are are moving troops, tanks and artillery forward for an offensive, maybe it is part of the preparation for that.
The world has lost a great man. A hero of immense integrity, a poet, a soldier and thinker. Let us hope that the new leaders of the Ghost brigade carry forward his vision and work with vigour and in the spirit he would have wished.
“Commander Alexei Mozgovoi was a hero, not only for Donbass people, but for people all over the world.” – http://english.pravda.ru/news/world/24-05-2015/130707-mozgovoi_reported_killed-0/#sthash.zLUXGDMj.dpuf
While its too early to know for certain who did this. There are a few points I want to mention. Some people have tried to kill Alex before. So its likely this has been planned for a while now.The time and place maybe not decided, but the plan probably was.If the info we hear is correct, the Ukie’s are planning a big attack. And it may be that attack is to be centered against the LPR instead of the DPR.The enemy may see that as an easier target. And cutting the Russian border there could be a real problem for the NAF.So it may be that these latest killings (and the previous ones) are an attempt to further weaken the military leadership of the LPR.To make the attack easier for the junta forces.Hopefully the NAF is aware of that possibility, and can be on guard against it.As to this killing in particular. If it was done by the junta forces. The NAF needs to retaliate in the same manner,as soon as possible. And officially the DPR/LPR should inform the OSCE that these murders are a breaking of Minsk 2 and the agreements will now be considered null and void if continued. These atrocities much end,and only by force can they be ended.
Uncle Bob 1
Clear headed approach.
You shouldn’t make threats that the other guy laughs at. Threatening to abandon Minsk is something that is up to the Kremlin, not some local fellow. Also, it makes you look weak and unprincipled to talk in a way that you can’t or won’t follow through on.
But you certainly have a fair point about how the LPR might be the weak link. More broadly, though, it seems like the Kremlin has had a difficult time (or lack of desire) to get the clans and oligarchs under control in the Donbass. This probably comes back to what many call the biggest failure of Putin’s time, which is the inability to limit corruption. It is still totally out of hand.
I agree don’t make threats you don’t intend to keep,so keep them. Its time for an understanding to be made with the Kremlin.Over a third of Russia’s people are very intent on supporting Donbass. If Putin wants a third of his people baying for his blood then he can not back the ethnic Russians up.There are thousands of trained fighters from Russia that have fought and many shed blood in the cause of defeating fascism in Ukraine. They will not take betrayal calmly and forgive it.The genii has left the bottle now.Even Orthodox Church worthies inside Russia are speaking up over it :
“Close Novorossia – insult the memory of those who died for her
The Orthodox community has responded to the incident a few days ago a statement the leaders of “New Russia” to close the project .”
I’m not sure what would happen if Putin is seen to betray Donbass. But I suspect from what I hear from Russian’s a super bad move on his part.Right now you see the left and the right backing Putin because of his support of Donbass.Betrayal would give the West their best chance for a Russian “maidan”.
So yes don’t make idle threats.Make statements and back them up.Either the murders stop or Minsk 2 is dead and complete independence will be declared. And no interest in a Minsk 3.That is what might shake the EU up,to pressure Kiev to stop their genocidal actions. If not follow through on them.If I was one of the military leaders of the NAF.I’d be wondering when the junta killers will come for me.And livid that my own leadership isn’t taking actions to unleash our forces on the junta.I’d be thinking maybe a coup might need to take place on my side before it even takes place in Kiev.
Why would the EU or US be against the Donbass being recognized by Russia? It would make it easier for them to keep the rest anti-Russia.
It is doubtful that Putin could betray the Donbass now even if he wanted to. Too many bad things would develop. Of course, it depends upon your definition of betray, as being stuck in an endless situation of poverty and destroyed infrastructure where Moscow wants to use you as a pawn against Kiev is horrible. Kharkov is much luckier.
So I would suspect that what would make Kiev or the EU change its tune is violence and threats. In other words, action. If leaders in Kiev started dying, things might change a bit. If the NAF said they were going to drive to Lvov and didn’t care if 10,000,000 refugees fled to Poland and Germany, the EU might start to change its approach. The world is always ruled by force, so why would the Kremlin think otherwise now?
I believe there are a few good options for this crisis to end.
Best: The end-game is the liberation of all the former Ukraine. The destruction of the junta regime.
Next Best: The liberation of all areas of the former Ukraine.Minus the pro-Bandera West.
Next Best: The liberation of all the Novorossian Oblasts and their independence.
Next Best: the liberation of all of Donetsk and Lugansk and their independence.
Next Best: Full autonomy for Donbass in a non-junta ruled Ukraine.
There is nothing acceptable below those.
Yes,weakening of military leadership is most likely motivation for the murder(s). But MSM are using it as an opportunity to spin it politically and sowing discord.
Next attack is going to come from the north,on the line Slavyanoserbsk-Stanica Luganskaya. Troops are massing in that region for a while now. Lots of armor. Although at the moment i don’t know how is UAF artillery placed in the northern sector.
Other side of the coin is the state of transition of power. Is everything running smoothly? How could it,there is a war going on. Can it be better? Off course! How much and how soon?
That question Mozgovoi posed is being used to sow discord. But posing these questions is normal behaviour regarding the circumstances. I am sure that most of us would like the same thing answered if we were to be trapped in a war zone. There were some harsh words maybe, but there is a war going on,proper etiquette is set aside often.
Answering some of Mozgovoi’s “How much and how soon” issues would be the best course of action now.
Revolution eats her children.
It is an axiom .
Sorry, I realize ‘the dead don’t care about revenge’. Now it’s to look to preserve the living. And there is no way no matter how weakened the junta’s armies have been by the winter fighting around Donetsk Airport and Debaltsevo that the Empire can allow the sanctions to expire. Not without sending a few thousand more junta soldiers to their death to scream at the Greeks, Austrians, and Hungarians for trying to let the EU sanctions against Russia lapse and turning a blind eye to ‘Kremlin aggression’ (the NAF counterattack). All while perhaps threatening Tsipras or Orban personally, or at least with fake scandals. The Empire is not above that and Kiev is broke and desperate.
“It is an axiom”
It’s a well known zionazi proapanda “truism” used to dissuade dissent.
We even emailed the Saker today that although the NAF can hold and successfully counterattack in Donbass — maybe even remove all but the most long range artillery the junta has from Donetsk and remove some of the pressure on Gorlovka. But we aren’t certain as to whether the Empire isn’t planning something crazy in Moldova, like trying a colored revolution or armed coup aiming for a snap referendum anschluss with Romania to bring a NATO Article 5 country to PMR’s borders. Although we cannot imagine Germany or France upholding Article 5 if the Romanians try to attack PMR in a few years, in reality as Cassad says it’s all about a possible blockade of TransDniestria thereby forcing Russia into some sort of Berlin airlift situation to keep its peacekeepers there or simply attack the Russian airlift with the Ukie air force/air defense thereby forcing Russia to at least smash the Ukrainian military in the Odessa region and or establish a beachhead for resupply from Crimea.
The Empire is getting really desperate and I think the initial triumphalism after the May 9 celebrations with Xi and China standing shoulder to shoulder with Russia and Putin was premature. The Empire’s neocon and neoliberal as well as most Russophobic minions is hardly going to let the Minsk2 accords finally hold up, no way in hell with the EU sanctions coming up for a vote as a test of Washington’s capacity to bully and blackmail the Continent. I am really getting concerned that all out proxy war in Donbass with the proxy masks increasingly off on both sides (the Georgian contingent are for all practical purposes an American foreign legion trained since the Dubya years and it wouldn’t surprise me if the DNR captures Polish, Canadian Banderite, Lithuanian or American mercs next time) isn’t enough for the Empire. They want, they desperately need some sort of direct confrontation if not between NATO and Russia then between Ukraine and the regular Russian air forces plus the peacekeepers in Transdniestr versus the Moldovans, who clearly don’t want to fight but are capable of temporarily trying to blockade the PMR into submission. There are probably some Romanians who have Iron Guard neo-fascist views though I doubt nearly as many as there were Right Sector/Svoboda in Ukraine. Hopefully Russia is gearing up to fight the informaton war in Bucharest itself and head off any plan for a Romanian-Moldovan anschluss because ‘Russia played with fire and set this precedent in Crimea, so why should it complain?’
The Kulak
Given the zionazi’s proxies failure to provoke the required response from Russia in the Donbas, they may very well use an attack on Transdniester to get what they want. When the zio-sods had “tie-eater” attack South Ossetia and killed Russian peace keeper troops stationed there, they got more than the Russian response they hoped for. Attacking Transdniester or Russian supply aircraft traveling there, could be their next strategy to get Russia involved directly in this zionazi war on humanity. The coordinated attacks on Mozgovoi, Lentsov, the increase in cease-fire violations and the expansion of troop/equipment movements towards the Donbas (in violation of their agreements), these signify that the zionazi’s are in fact not backing down, as their quisling pindo political tools recently have mislead (Kerry-bot and related freakshow), but in fact are rapidly gearing up for expanded aggressive action.
Exactly. Even a ‘limited’ Russian response like establishing a military NFZ over Odessa oblast and blasting any Ukrainian S-300 battery and killing the crew who decide to paint the IL-76s or shoot one down on a trial run is going to have Kiev hysterically screaming for more aid — and probably result in the loss of a few Russian planes before all the Ukrainian BUKs and S300s get blown up (I suspect Russia would insert spetsnaz teams to actually take out some of the rockets and their crews rather than fly US style Wild Weasel missions — this would also terrify some of the Ukrainian air defense commanders who might refuse orders to shoot at the Russian ILs). And just in time to try to stave off total default this summer AND give the Empire an excuse to crush resistance however feeble within the EU from the Austro-Hungarians and Greeks to the renewed sanctions. The Dutch investigation can on MH17 will also get kicked down the road and everybody in the Empire is happy because the Evil Russian Bear stays on the front burner into the 2016 election year, meaning a GOP win since Hillary is being sabotaged by her numerous domestic and international enemies.
As Col. Cassad points out a Berlin Airlift style relief can maintain the 2,000 peacekeepers with food and ammo but fuel and lubricants are the big problem. Especially if Chisinau decides to squeeze the civilian population of the PMR with food blockades, however contrary to all agreements reached between Chisinau and Tiraspol that ended the early 1990s war these measures may be. The Empire can count on the fact that hardly anyone in the West but Russia watchers knows where the hell PMR/Transnistria is anymore than the few who know where Donbass is. Moldova’s military can’t and doesn’t really want to fight but the Empire is probably promising gushers of money and more EU aid if they simply do this one little favor and force the Russians to back down in humiliation after so many bitter defeats for their Kiev junta proxies since last summer. A ‘big win’ psychologically for the junta and Washington to compensate for the collapse of the Ukrainian economy and to further tighten the regime’s militaristic hold on Odessa which remains a potential insurgent hotspot.
I see the same pattern: how can the recent ouvertures of Kerry ever be credible (they can never be) if not even Nuland has been fired? I would not be too surprised if the neocons would slow down a bit after this summer, too keep their seats until after the US election under Clinton or Bush: no new collegues, moving into an office, learning on the job, but going at full blast from day one. But not now yet. If a blockade of Transdnistria is not just a lot of hot air, it looks like the beginning of a Kiev offensive to me. Macedonia, Hungary, Greece and Serbia have to really watch out as well, and I hope mr Putin already has sent advisors, knowledgable about colored revolutions.
My feeling is the whole story of the end of Novorossiya is a false narrative, and I absolutely cannot see a reunification with failed state Kiev, even in the loosest federal context. Main practical reason is the IMF debt and its austerity program, the sell-out of land to Cargyll and Monsanto, infrastructure to Biden and the people of Donbass having to shoulder the debts of the destruction of their region. Without that, the rebuilding is an almost impossible task already!
Apart from letting in plundering and raping bands of nazi bandits and death squads, of which this assasination is part: the front is a rather effective border, which would disappear.
Transnistria is being enclosed with the latest moves of Ukraine Rada. They won’t allow transit of Russian military. They’d like to bait Russia to move against them there. Anywhere close enough to unleash NATO.
The Ukies need Russian to hit them hard. Or the money stops.
No war = No money = No junta.
They know the game is almost over. The gold is long gone and the money was stolen from all the loans, the bonds, the bail outs. And they’ve “sold” the best assets of the nation already. You can’t sell Odessa twice. Same with the grain fields. Same with the mineral rights. It’s all gone.
Their only chance is more war. Not to win the war. That’s never going to happen. But to bait Russian into what it has yet not done.
So kill a General. Agitate the Transnistria border.
The Transdniester blockade is tit for tat for Russia cancelling USA’s access to Afghanistan. concessions. Apparently access to the high seas is some kind of universal human right, based on which there are UN conventions for landlocked states to have rights to transit neighbouring countries to get to the sea. So it’s not entirely a matter of next door liking to let you through. I am not sure if “trade” includes weapons.
Nothing too sinister in this, and fixable with a little diplomatic horse-trading maybe. If they won’t start WW3 over Ukraine they certainly won’t over Transdniester.
While they don’t run out of food or ammunition,. the Russian troops in Transdniester are in a good pincer position if any more come across from, say, Novoazovski, towards Odessa. So they’re better off being nice to them.
Many in Romania would like Moldova reattached, but nobody in Moldova wants this, except a few who think unification would be a good backdoor into EU membership. This won’t fly with the EU, I am sure.
Moldova doesn’t really want Transdniester because it is a very poor and very mixed ethnicity region, but they don’t want to let it go, either. It is actually another Crimea situation, having voted for autonomy/independence a year before the Soviet breakup.
I get dizzy just thinking about it, so I hope “they” get dizzy enough to not do anything silly.
Exactly. I cannot IMAGINE the French or German leadership under any sane, not completely blackmailed and compromised regime accepting a Romanian anschluss with Moldova. Particularly one carried out by snap referendum with huge numbers of Moldovans opposed.
In addition to Trasnistria, I know the Gagauz as an Orthodox Christian people with Turkic or medieva Pecheneg steppe roots would oppose this, and I suspect they are integral to any Russian plan to reverse another NATO-backed putsch or Colored Revolution in Chisinau, since they could threaten to secede if the capitol sells itself to Romania. Hell, they could even try making a pan-Turkic appeal to Erdogan and the neo-Ottomans in Ankara and test whether it’s about Turkishness or vassalhood to the Empire in Turkey.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gagauzia
But again, from Berlin’s perspective, not only is an EU member Romania annexing another state even by a ‘democratic referendum’ unprecedented, it would completely undermine all the German carping about the illegality of Crimea (notwithstanding all the smug satisfaction among Russophobes that what goes around comes around and the Kremlin experienced blowback for its illegal aggression bla bla bla).
The Germans are supposed to be sticklers for international law — plus their historians remember all too well that the Iron Guards helped the SS invade Soviet Russia.
For the French, who were probably not happy to bring a state into the EU with a large Roma population in the first place, adding two million Moldovans to the Schengen visa holders is a non-starter. Romania has no jobs for its own people, let alone the Moldovans, this would be a pure geopolitical power play that again even the most fanatical, brazen neocons would have trouble legitimizing using all of their Sorosnik bag of tricks to many Romanians, much less Moldovans. You just can’t arrange a Romanian-Moldovan anschluss overnight by simply taking over or creating a Maidan in Chisinau, there would have to be many other dominos to fall into place first.
So perhaps we should relax. But I remain deeply worried, even if eventually Russia puts sufficient pressure on Moldova to lift the blockade from their side in return for Moldovan products not getting banned but even preferential treatment in Russian markets. Perhaps Moscow can still buy peace. But the hour seems to be getting late to avoid the war Kiev desperately needs to provoke on its western as well as eastern borders.
I am shocked and baffled by these comments of armchair “smart pseudo-historians” like the ones above. With this old empire mentality you will succeed to turn against Russia all the neighbors, even if they disagree with what the west is doing. Why don’t you let Moldavians (who speak the same language as Romanians) to decide what is best for their country ? Can you guys explain how did the Russians arrive in Transnistria and when ? Do you know that Russian Empire took by force in 1812 half of what was the Principality of Moldavia ? Moldavia was under Ottoman vassalage, but not part of the Ottoman Empire. So, even if Russia did win same battle against the Ottomans, they had no right to annex by force a country that had no Slavic population at all and speaks no Russian language. You guys, are starting to see fascists everywhere around Russia. Soon enough, this word will became useless.
While, initially the Romanians received the passing Russians army with open arms (as orthodox brothers) in the 19th century, pretty soon their rapes, steals and crimes left a very bitter taste behind.
On a different aspect, why Russia is clinging so hard on that little piece of land and. It is for military reasons (strategic position plus a huge military underground deposit). But the forced Russification didn’t work out despite of 200 years of persecution and sending millions of the Moldavian population in the gulags.
Get your facts straight: population of Transnistria is made of 32% Moldavians, 30% Ukraininans and 28% Russians. In the war from 1991, it was the Russians+Ukrainians who fought against Moldavians. So, the situation is pretty messed-up there. Even if Russia occupies the region by force, they will only get support of 28% of the population, which, ironically was applying for Moldavian citizenship in droves (to get access in the EU).
Transnistria is a remnant of an old Soviet Moldavian Republic created by Stalin after the reunification of Moldavia (Bessarabia, even this name comes from an old Romanian ruling family) with Romania in 1918. This republic was created with the purpose of claiming Moldavia later on and also as a subversive base into spreading the disease called bolshevism (which is as bad as nazism).
People like, making plans about my country from thousands of miles away and using only selected aspects from history are making me sic.
This is hardly a site interested in the truth about Russian Imperialism. Bessarabia was a step on the way to conquering Constantinople, then Egypt then India. The Russians did get to Bulgaria.
We are concerned at the moment with the Empire’s current imperialism. We can get to Russia’s imperialism of a few hundred years ago when we have free time.
@ Soarintothesky
So you consider The Russian Tsar the same as Russians electing a leader to lead them? In which case Stalin was not a Russian and he was the one who did a great deal of things but Russians still get blamed for that. And it is amazing that the british can go anywhere without being terminated by someone considering they have invaded 90% of the countries on the planet. And why are we letting Germans out of the prison? Damn Nazi’s should be sent to the gulags to pay off their debt to humanity. For the same reason how come Americans can be allowed out of max security prisons for the extinction of native Americans. I say throw them and the Spanish and lazy Europeans into cuba where they belong. I we are looking for deeds, then white man has not been kind in the last 500 years. After we get rid of them we can look at the Muslims.. Oh we should not forget the Hindus either, just because they were averse to crossing bodies of water does not mean they have not done something..
yes, soarintothesky is a troll
Transnistria was not a part of Moldova until Stalin made it a part.It was a part of the area ruled from Odessa. The Dniester River was the border line. While the main area of today’s Moldova was a part of Moldavia it was sparsely settled (and included Slavs). When the Moldovan area was annexed by Russia. To increase the population the Russians encouraged immigration from Moldavia and many other areas (but as Moldavia was closer more came). It was Russian until stolen by Romania from a prostrate Russia at the end of WW1.The Romanians attempted full-scale Romanization of the area during their rule.Including, near the end and during WW2 mass murders of others there. While Romania was under the rule of the genocidal Iron Cross fascists. As of now much of the trade of Moldova is with Russia.Hundreds of thousands of Moldovans work and live in Russia. And the majority of people there do not support the EU over Russia. Many of the pro-Russians in Odessa Oblast have Moldovan ethnic backgrounds as shown by their names.Spouting Romanian nationalist propaganda doesn’t work on someone that studies history I’m afraid.
Uncle Bob, you are a clear example of arrogance and mystification (and I remember another blogger from internet called Lady Rada speaking identical to you: with so many shocking lies that were probably indoctrinated in her mind from the bolshevic manuals). Now I can start to understand why some of the smaller nations from around Russia dislike you so much: you treated them like shit also, when you got the chance. I will try to find some Russian manuals of history to understand better how you guys get educated. I used to defend the Russian position, in discussions with my friends, against the moves from west. But after seeing how you think and spread lies, I will be much more careful. Seems like you are no saints at all, and will do another wave of genocide against smaller nations if you get the chance. Learn some history before spiting anymore lies. Start by checking what language is spoken today in Moldavia, even after 200 years of forced Russification and waves of mass deportation. Let me tell you: it’s Romanian language.
Transnistria was given to Moldavia as some sort of compensation for losing the southern area called Budjeak and cutting off completely the country from access to the sea (most likely a strategic move fueled by Soviet Imperialism). That region belongs to Ukraine today and should, in theory be returned to Moldavia. Regarding Transnistria, it is just a frozen conflict maintained by Russia on purpose. Look at how much Kremlin really cares about Russians living much closer in Donetsk or Lugansk to understand the cynicism behind stirring up troubles all the way to Moldavia’s border. It’s all for expansion reasons, now I really start to believe it.
How much land is enough for you, some Russians ?.
You see all the neighbors as imperialists and nationalists, but don’t you have mirrors in your country to take a good look at yourself ??? Hypocrisy seems to be quite common.
Uncle Bob, Moldavia was stolen from Russia ??? How can you dare vomiting such crap ??? Are you a sic bolshevic/communist idiot hungry for blood ? You the likes of you are the thieves stealing land right and left from all the neighbors !!!
Moldavia was only occupied with force by Russia, it was never part of it, get this thing straight in your sic mind, first !
Moldavian, don’t abuse people. What an outsider thinks he knows may not be what you, an insider, think you know. And you yourself learned only one side. Do not abuse others, for surely that will make them not listen. Educate them. Tell them facts. Do it peacefully please.
I am sorry, I got carried away and lost my temper. Considering that with internet these days there is plenty of information for anyone to find out real historical facts, I just cannot believe that some people still think Moldavia was stolen from Russia by Romania. Anyone can check what language is spoken there on both sides of the Prut river (the border between Romania and Moldavia), what traditional music is played on both sides, how are the traditional costumes, what is the national poet of Moldavia (Mihai Eminescu, the same as in Romania), what is the greatest hero of Moldavia (Stephen the Great from the 15th century, same as in Romania). Where was Russia in the 15th century ? They only arrived on the borders of Moldavia in the 19th century.
I’m afraid that people thinking like Uncle Bob can become very dangerous if they get in power.
Here is some information obtained from a random search with google:
http://www.consulateofmoldova.in/history.html
For some strange reason people seem to categorize people with rulers and states. I am not sure how anything the Russian tsar did can be considered Russian since a dozen people making decisions and forcing serfs to go die for them makes them as being responsible. The same with the soviets, how Georgians or Ukrainians making decisions and sending Russians to go die, makes Russia as being responsible for it all.
But people have no qualms about blaming Gadhafi or saddam for all the things Iraq or Libya has done. It was their personal responsibility of just those 2 people for their countries problems. But they don’t get any of the credit for turning those 2 desolate places into modern states. It seems if you have a bias, then everything is interchangeable.. Kind of like blaming 100% of the Germans for what the 25% did.. Actually we can blame all the germans and make it their responsibility like what Israel does. In a way we are all guilty of great crimes, we live in prosperity on the misery caused to others. But all we can do is not ourself cause any to someone else because we have seen the light and know the suffering it brings.
@ Moldavian and Uncle Bob
if you read this blog you can see how the Ukrainian and Donbass sides have totally different stories about the same events (which we see video of). We see how far and how fast they are rewriting history, too, not just twisting current events.
Now imagine earlier times — no TV, no radio, perhaps a weekly paper which only a few could read, many villages where the priest was the only one who could read at all. People’s information about what happened, and why, and what the others were saying, was very restricted. A lot more shaped than it is now; and cultural history of course told in a way that promotes pride in being who they are.
Even serious and fair minded historians are shackled by language, which limits their access to materials held by the other side. People who grow up in a culture will always have a better, more heroic and/or more down-trodden view of themselves, and a poorer, more hostile view of their neighbours/former rulers. (That is YOU Moldavian). People who study history as outsiders (YOU, Uncle Bob) will have a view synthesised from information available to the historians they read, who MAY have been on the “other side” in various conflicts and conquests. (Just look at the arguments on several articles here that mention the former Yugoslavia, as well as the WW2 articles).
Neither is lying. Both may be mistaken. Do not fight. Set out what you know and how you know it. Put DATES to events. Double check your sources for possible bias (eg Moldavian — a link from the Moldavian Consulate site? really think that is not going to be biased?). Talk respectfully. Listen. Learn. It’s the only way we can counteract the evil ones, who are looking for any crack to further separate us with.
@ MOLDAVIAN
read Uncle Bob’s first item again. He is saying Transnistria was Russian, not Moldova.
Re Russia, please consider that today’s Russia is very definitely not Lenin’s and Trotsky’s and Stalin’s Soviet Union. Take a good look, instead of reacting with “Russia bad”. Putin does not want to take over your country, either.
First of all, I’m not Russian.Second, I have studied Eastern European history for over 30 years and know what I comment on.Third, you haven’t disproved one fact that I stated. And you can’t because they are true.So peddle your nationalism to someone that doesn’t know the area’s history. You will have better luck with them.
dear Uncle Bob..I’m on your side
The link from the consulate was just a random selection of links. And desconsidering that is like said “Are you serious to read about Russia’s history from a russian official site ?” What is wrong with that, may I ask ? Now, even the elected Moldavian government or population is not to be trusted ?
I could have posted the wikipedia link about Moldavia, but some people say that is controlled by the empire …. I gave some facts about Moldavia (culture, language, historical aspects). I will add more because this is quite serious matter. Like I said, people with the mentality of Bob’s can soon arrive as mercenaries in Moldavia and start “liberating” it again from it’s own native population, like the tsarists and bolsheviks did it a few times.
I can see that the attitude of Russian or pro-Russian people towards Romania and Moldavia is really scary and frightening.
Can Bob send some links about his own version of Moldavia’s history ?
And answer me this: do you think that Stephen de Great didn’t exist ? That he didn’t fight about 57 battles across the territory of full Moldavia against the Ottoman invasions ? That is all an invention of Romania propaganda ?
What about all the history until 1812 about Moldavia ? It is also invention ?

People from Moldavia don’t want to live again under Russian oppression when the area was reduced to the sole role of agricultural region. All the ruling positions were given to the Russian oppressors whose families moved there mostly in the last 100 years.
Undeniably, Moldova was and remains a sore point in the Russo-Romanian relations. It was a political mistake from both parts, deftly exploited by the Western Powers to keep Romania in the anti-Russian camp. And it will remain so indefinitely unless the real historical and geo-political context in which the problem was created is clarified and words are correctly used (Moldova vs. Basarabia). Since the beginning of the relations, through the numerous wars fought together against the Turks, through foiled attempts in the past to correct the situation, up to these days. Nobody gives any hint that it even tries. It is easier to maintain the atmosphere of righteous indignation at the “wrongs done to us” by the “Russian imperialists” or by the “Romanian fascists” (depending from what side of the river Prut one speaks). But it is clear that history does not come anymore into the equation.
Not “Iron Cross” (that’s a German medal), but “Iron Guard”. They were very Orthodox, and tried to impose Orthodoxy in Romania.
Mr. Dugin likes them. His mentor, Jean Parvulesco, had some connection with them.
Haha,thanks,yes I meant Iron Guard.
@“Iron Guard”… tried to impose Orthodoxy in Romania

You justthetalk/moonofalabama lot really don’t like having the “sacred ideology” connected to nazism, and will through some of the most absurd semantic gymnastics to try and smear somebody who does make the connection. :D

First Known Use: 15th century
Were there zionazis in the 15th Century?
Another semantics gymnast. They rarely spam a site alone…
The word Zion dates from 630–540 BCE according to modern scholarship so yes there were zionazis (people who lived on and around mount Zion and who invented Judaism, Christianity and Islam) even before 15th century.
There’s nothing profound about it. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” has a short shelf-life. People will cooperate to defeat Kiev who have diametrically opposed ambitions for the aftermath, and after simmering during the battles and bubbling during the ceasefires, these will surface in strength when the fighting is done.
Just look at the Ukrainian forces, trying to use the Nazi battalions and decimate them.

Had the same reaction: “NO NO NO NO”. Before the planned attack from ukies is a good time to try to start trouble between LPR and DNR. Divide and conquer. Sounds like a CIA plan to start the further spread of their best act: CHAOS.
Let’s have a look at the chain of events:
An attempt was made to assassinate Alexsey Mozgovoi on the 7th of March, the location and mode of operation are nearly identical to recent event. Nobody was apprehended.
Just before the Victory Day in Lughansk Mozgovoi was ordered not to have a Victory Parade in the area of his control. Mozgovoi had reported threats made against him by somebody in Lughansk administration. Who was that?
16th of May ANNANEWS claim that the humanitarian worker Michail Tarasenkov was delivered to SBU by Russian border guard captain. Confirmed.

Because of the Saker site, and comments from the Saker Community, I will avoid jumping to conclusions about this very important and violent development. I pray that the people of the Donbass will soon achieve peace.
Here’s a link to a map of the region.
http://www.ukrainebusiness.com.ua/modules/news/images/topics/4e1bbcd2-eb43-be79.jpg
Distance from the murder of Brain and the shooting at Lt. General Lentsov is 45 miles, well within militia territory. Though the General was between Maiorsk and Gorlovka, about 5 Km distance northward in the ceasefire zone between lines. Gorlovka has been receiving the worst shelling for some weeks. He definitely was facing Ukies (with forward spotters, snipers, probably special ops contractors).
On Bing maps you can zoom into the area and see the relevant locale.
http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?name=Horlivka&where1=48.33404,38.04683&lvl=8&FORM=INFOCM&satid=id.sid:ef696f72-5c59-e155-4fd6-d856fe128b76
Gorlovka is where or near the area of the shooting at the General’s vehicle.
Alchevsk is where Brain was killed.
Let’s face it, the General thing would be insane for militia in Donetsk to be involved. The Russians would react against perpetrators with vehemence. And for what purpose would militia want to shoot the General?
However, if they are related, it is to sell the story that Plotniskiy was not involved in the murder, Ukies were. After all, Ukies shot at the General too, the cover story would go.
It’s all supposition right now. Interesting, and it takes one’s sorrow and distracts it from the loss.
Watch for how the Brigade is handled. Talk of it being broken up has floated already.
“Watch for how the Brigade is handled. Talk of it being broken up has floated already.”
If the Brigade is broken up it would be nothing less then admission of crime by Lughansk authority and political and tactical victory for the ukronazi.
I’d like to offer my thanks to the person or persons moderating this thread. It’s been very useful to see the discussions between commenters here, it has the feel of being almost in real time, and some valuable discussion has happened. This has been a great service to people like me who are mostly just reading and absorbing all the possibilities of what’s going on right now. Hope people get sleep.
Many thanks also to commenters. I appreciate the feats of writing some of you are doing to offer information and analysis in this uncertain time.
Thank you, Grieved!
The bandera nazis apparently “know” who murdered Mozgovoi, just like they “knew” who shot down MH17.
В МВД Украины уже “раскрыли” убийство Мозгового
(Yandex)In the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has already “solved” the murder of Cerebral
Advisor to the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko, a few hours after the murder brigade commander Cerebral Suchil his version of the customer and the contractor.
“I called the comrades of the Luhansk region, who monitor the airwaves. They say that two hours ago near the village of Mikhailovskoye that under Alchevsk, GRU liquidated known leader LNR Alexey Mozgovoy and six of his bodyguards,” said Gerashchenko and clarified that the reason for the elimination of “reluctance to obey commands from Moscow”.
In turn, the Russian mass media with reference to sources quoting the version of law enforcement bodies of the self-proclaimed LNR, among which primary: striker sabotage and intelligence group, controlled by Kiev, and the discontent of local criminals desire Brain to restore order in controlled Alchevsk.
One of the most famous warlords of LNR was killed on may 23. According to preliminary data, his jeep came under machine-gun fire. Together with Cerebral killed six people, including a guard and a spokesman for the brigade “Ghost”.
Thanks Bot Tak.
Whenever I read things like this from Gerashchenko I know it stinks to the high heavens. The fact he immediately attributes the death to Moscow I think gives us a big clue…….

Another junta divide and conquer tactic. They are rather stupid though, it will only strengthen the brigades resolve to avenge their leader when war starts again……

Бригада «Призрак» выступила с заявлением в связи с гибелью Мозгового
(Yandex) Brigade “Ghost” made a statement regarding the death of Brain
The brigade reported that as the main version of the story focuses on the actions of subversive groups of the enemy.
The Deputy commander of the brigade “Ghost” made a statement in which he confirmed the death of Alexei Brain in the assassination attempt organized by the raiding party of the enemy. They also urged the public not to build and distribute an insane version of the death of the brigade commander, and await the results of the official investigation.
May 23, around 17:30 there was an assassination attempt. Machine the brigade commander of Brain after the explosion of the explosive mines was shot from two guns PC and one RPK. All were in the car were killed. The driver, before dying, managed to report the attack to the guards brigade. We were on the ground after a matter of minutes, unfortunately, to save anyone failed. All the necessary measures and investigative actions carried out on the spot. Command of the brigade provides full assistance to the law enforcement bodies of the Republic in the investigation, the perpetrators of this crime will be found and will be punished according to the law, — said the Deputy commander of the brigade “Ghost” logistics Alexey Markov.
The brigade also confirmed that, despite the death of the commander, the brigade “Ghost” will continue to perform combat tasks set before her command of the armed forces.
If someone on the other side decided that in this way we can dispel, to scare, ” he is very deeply wrong. We started to head into a fist may 2, 2014, then we, too, wanted to scare, there are many of us wanted to scare — will not work! — said the Deputy brigade commander for combat training Pyotr Biryukov. — Alexey Mozgovoy same fighter brigade “Ghost”, as we all do. And when he made her, got under her banners, he knew that he could die like any of us, as dozens of our comrades. He is a warrior. And those warriors who are now in the ranks of the brigade, don’t be afraid, and will only become angrier. The time will come when we ask.
As noted by the chief of staff of the brigade Yuri Shevchenko, many fighters came to “Ghost” because of ideas and Affairs Alexei Brain and leave the fight after his death — it would be a betrayal to the brigade commander.
We remember his motto, which has got to me and my comrades from the first moments in the brigade: “fear Not for the skin, be afraid for honor!”, — said Shevchenko.
thanks
Looks like Tass is picking up on the Ukranian saboteurs taking responsibility:

So, not Kiev and not Moscow – but then who?
the oligarcs that are ruling in moscow because it is evident that all the killed commanders were “socialist”.
therefore I have little doubt that putin has real power over the Russian state
The murder suspect Brain can safely all parties: perhaps he was the last who still had ideals from which it all started. On what occasion the oligarchs and their henchmen on both sides of the war were obliged to consider it as his personal enemy. Now the road is clear for Decentralization ,the Kiev “partners”and oligharhs Rinat Akhmetov,Ihor Kolomoyskyi,Serhiy Taruta.ready to return.
the oligarcs that are ruling in moscow have interest in Ucrania and support Kiev junta ,for this reason Kremlin force by them to help Junta with discount gas-coal and not demand the paymed of 3 bil.$ bonds back.
I see no reason to blame Moscow, Mozgovoi was as far as I know going along with all that was necessary. Meaning he would not rebell if LNR joined Ukraine with fully autonomy.
It was likely some other commander or even some criminal trash.. It is very sad and awful, both from a personal, militar and ideological standpoint, from what I read, he was the greatest leader in LNR and command the most respect, really he should be the one leading LNR. And he may very have done so in the future, I remember him saying he had political plans, but would not disclouse them for now.

Mozgovoy singing in Ukrainian wiil make you cry
Its not the only the murder of Mozgovoi BUT the total of russian foregin policy which show wekness and retret.
a.France not delivery Mistral ship neither compensation
b.Kiev refuse to pay back ts dedt to Russia but demand to get discount price for gas until end of the year.
c.USA canceled south stream pipeline and try to cancel tourkish-greek pipeline too.
D.iSSIS got half Syria and ready to topless Assand.
E.In Donbass russian citizen captured and atacked russian officer ,but silence from Moskow.
Despite the Sourkov-Kremlin propaganda for usufull idiots ,there are many sights that Kremlin has made 180 degrees turn to its foregin policy since the partisipation of Crimea.
Then why has Putin signed legislation allowing prosecutors to deem foreign or global non-government organizations as “undesirable” in Russia and also introduced punishment including as much as $10,000 fines and up to six years in prison for running such NGOs in Russia?
Well, that’s pretty minimal, compared to the losses mentioned above.
anon..get a name
That’s your interpretation only.
Ya great guy and everything.
I’m a Marxist and I agree with Mosgovoi about the idiocy of fighting each other instead of oligarchs who have always benefitted from making working people fight each other.
But this situation is complex. Ideals are great, but at this point in history I don’t see a possibility of worker emancipation. The only thing we can do now is try to preserve some diversity, localism and multipolarity from which in the future new models could spring. The great threat in the world is wall street hegemony and its drive to remake the world in its image. People underestimate how successful it’s been in that pursuit so far.
If the Kremlin had Mozgovoi killed so his ideals don’t spoil their bigger plans of preserving Eurasian security and sovreignty, so be it. If Ischenko’s analyses of an army being built up to retake all Malorussia are anywhere near correct, then dissident commanders are not what’s needed
There is a major drug trafficking route through the LNR. Batman was taken out following attempts to clean it up. Possibly the same applies to Brain.
It is a gift to die in May…
Aleksey Borisovich Mozgovoy
22.05.2013
It is a gift to die in May—
An easy task to dig a grave,
And nightingales will sing their song
Inimitably, like their last.
In May, the thunder of storms supplants
A funerals’ dismal songs and sounds,
And rain that comes instead of tears
Dissolves the memories’ regret.
The shelt’ring barrow of the grave
Beneath the emerald of grass;
A cross is a redundant mark
Among a grove of weary birch.
Beneath the rustling newborn leaves,
With irrepressible thirst for life,
The sun has yet to burn the grass,
And every thing is animate.
It is a gift to die in May,
To stay behind in vernal dew.
And though I could not do it all,
There are no doubts where none remain…
It is a gift, to die in May…
Whatever the reason for his death, NOW is the time for them – in the DNR too, I’m thinking of Givi & Zakharchenko but not just them – to review their top people’s security, and increase it.
Also, they should have special forces protecting them AND a unit or 2 looking for weaknesses in the security detail, making mock attacks even.
Russia Today isn’t even reporting on this ? Instead a bunch of stories about gay marriage in Ireland and bee lanes in Norway…
http://rt.com/news/line/2015-05-24/
Russia Today has a narrow agenda. Comprehensive reporting of uninteresting events isn’t part of it. The rebel leaders are past their sell by dates.

https://niqnaq.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/news-front-uncensored-mozgovoi-assassination-scene-footage-i-think/
The other, “Jew Oligarch” Kaufman warning Alexei he’d get what Batman got.
https://niqnaq.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/i-would-advise-you-not-to-believe-a-word-you-read-on-this-site-but-you-may-enjoy-it-if-the-translation-engine-works-for-you/
Independent military units still need money and supplies – so how these “paid” for.
I can well imagine local business interests and money were at the heart of this killing, as well as the independent nature of the unit and it’s reluctance to fit into the LPR army. An utterly predictable end. And whilst he had good PR, I imagine there’s a lot we don’t know.
I always thought Plotsnitski looks like a Thug. I don’t know him, maybe he’s an angel and just not media savvy. I guess Alexei’s assassination was either CIA planned, or based on these moronic faction-wars inside Novorossiya.
Considering that Givi had also an attempt on his life, I believe it’s more a CIA/Kiev group trying to decapitate the NR’s best faces in the media. Motorola, look out. These guys need SERIOUS protection, not just 2-3 cars in a convoi!!!
cheers.
I’ve perhaps a stupid question because I don’t know everything about the history of Donbass.
Under Ukrainian state, the republics of Lugansk and Donetsk are two separate entities. Is it a necessity in the context of Novorossiya ? Is there a real division linked with demography or is it just bureaucracy, a simple technical question of territorial management ?
In fact, is there now a certain cultural homogeneity and a sufficient ethnic mixing to allow the merger of one “Novorossian” republic of Russian political sensitivity, regardless of the position of the Kremlin ?
My question is raised by the article below and because I’ve read many thinks about the Russian identity from Russian authors rather close to the Kremlin. And now I still wonder if Russian identity issue is relevant or if it’s a false and dangerous question introduced from outside to divide the Russian Federation and to revive the destructive nationalisms.
Personally, I consider that the best way to define its own identity is to proceed by elimination of what we are not, what we don’t feel to be. What remains is the true identity, but if this identity is representatively too weak and reasonably unsustainable, it is necessary to integrate it into a larger more powerful entity; in that case Russia or Ukraine. I doubt if an isolated “Monegasque” Lugansk is feasible.
For exemple, if a resident of Donbas, of Tatar origin, can say that he isn’t Ukrainian, but cannot say that he isn’t Russian, then he is a Russian Tatar, Russia being his sustainable identity, like a Swiss Romand in Switzerland who can say that he isn’t a German Swiss, but cannot say that he isn’t Swiss.
To me, it’s dangerous to dig the matter further, because unity creates the force. Between the play of great powers choices are necessary to survive and the independant Tatarstan and Romandie are unrealistic dreams. Thank to Russia for having supported the Swiss unity in 1815, after Napoleon Wars ! I’m supporting yours (the Russian) because we need it in the balance of power and because your beautiful country and courageous people deserve it. So, you must tighten the ranks, but I think you know that.
http://warsonline.info/ukraine/komandiri-lnr-poprosili-gosdumu-rf-podderzhat-russkiy-proekt.html
in fact both DNR and LNR are very artificial formations and there’s no historical precedence for either. it may sound funny today, but the most natural thing for all of Novorossiya from Odessa to Kharkov would be to simply reunite with Russia (since they’ve all been part of greater Russia for centuries until essentially just 24 years ago). and that’s what the people there last year originally were standing for, encouraged by the Crimean example. but, as we know, the Kremlin backpedaled on a continuation of the Crimean approach in continental Ukraine, and as a result the next most meaningful goal was chosen – Novorussia, or a united Southeast, which in its full size would include Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Mariupol, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa etc.
However, even that was apparently deemed too aggressive by the Kremlin, and as a result even the unification of DNR and LNR was blocked (apparently from above, since on a local level such a unity makes a lot of sense).
generally, the developments lately and the direction of the wind originating from the Kremlin, indicates that the administration there doesnt even want not just Novorussia, but even DNR and LNR. they’re a burden, and so they are artifically forced to keep a low profile, not unite, and even lately talk about “conditions to re-join a federalised Ukraine”. it’s another question whether the population would accept re-joining the Nazis in Kiev, though.
Пушилин: Убийство Мозгового направлено на срыв минских соглашений
(Yandex – partial) Pushilin: Killing Brain aimed at disrupting the Minsk Agreement
Pushilin called the Brain “the legendary brigade commander” and expressed the opinion that his murder “war party” expects to cause unrest in the Donbass, informs “Moscow speaking”.
“First of all, I would like to Express my condolences to the friends, family, relatives and all who knew the legendary brigade commander. If you touch who could be behind this, I, unfortunately, have to say the following things. Amid fragile truce, on the background of the fact that the Minsk process is slow, but still moving forward and not benefit from it directly in Kiev, as there are too motley crowd. And the “party of war” has resorted to various methods”, – said the representative of the Donetsk national Republic.
He noted that the European Commission help qualified military of the West, and they too can be behind the murder Brain.
“It is worth considering that they are now trained by our overseas “friends”, their methods of warfare are becoming sophisticated. The events of the murder Brain can bring some excitement, and, most likely, and calculation. Here to say that subversive group worked with far-reaching plans, appropriate,” – said Pushilin.
Pushilin was the target of several Ukie (?) assassination attempts since the getgo of Donetsk government. Several other people died in those bombings.
Regarding the possibility that Mozgovoi was murdered by ZPC/NWO covert/special ops:
ДНР: Силовики подготовили 85 диверсионных групп для переброски в Донбасс
(Yandex – partial) DND: security Forces have prepared 85 subversive groups to move in the Donbass
“On the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions controlled by occupation forces generated 85 diversionary groups of different size. Including 19, fully staffed by foreign nationals” – quoted Basurin TASS.
Only 85….
I’d say the NAF should be working night and day to neutralize all 85. And go to the source of where they are trained.Only their complete extermination can be considered as a victory.
I will not venture to speculate on who might have committed this awful murder. I will say, though, that Plotnitsky has simply never struck me as being as likable as Zakharchenko, or as a leader of the same caliber.
Some biographical info on Anna Samelook, the press secretary of Mozgovoi, who was murdered with him.
Муж убитой с Мозговым журналистки воевал в «Айдаре»
(Yandex – partial) The husband of the murdered journalist with Cerebral fought in the “Aidar”
Lost with the assassination of the brigade commander “Ghost” Anna Samelook already separated from ajdarevic – the father of her children.
During the assassination attempt on Alexei Brain but him were killed and six civilians. Two become incidental victims, they were driving near the scene of the tragedy cars. Directly in the car with a Brain were four people: two security guards, a driver and a female press Secretary Anna Samelook.
As it became known LifeNews, the deceased journalist worked with Alexey Mozgovoy from the moment when the crew of the Ghost is now based in Alchevsk.
On the evening of 23 may, when the machine Brain was undermined on a mine, and then riddled with bullets from automatic weapons, 34-year-old Anna Samluk was riding in the passenger seat of the car “Toyota Sequoia”. As wrote in the social network, the leader of Ukrainian subversive group “Shadows”, took responsibility for the murder, Oleksandr Gladkyy, after the attack, the interior of the car was “a mess”.
Anna, Samluk, in marriage Aseeva, left three children. The woman had gone with scientist Yuri Aseev (Gokulam). He, like Anna, worked as a journalist, but after the beginning of the conflict in the Donbas their life paths diverged. Yuri joined the ranks of the battalion “Aidar”. However, he quickly ran into conflict with co-workers. In the summer of 2014 he was arrested after, according to him, tried to ban the aidarova mock prisoner by the militia. In the “Aidar” he has been charged with the theft of weapons and optical sight.
Yuri may be involved and even to a scandal that often accompany military way of Ukrainian battalions. According to open sources, Aseev was the customer pictures of houses, where in Lugansk militia was hiding. 29-year-old girl, who completed the photo shoot, Maria Varfolomeeva, was detained by authorities LNR for espionage, and former friends on the “Aidar” and “Right sector” quickly forgot it. Yuri she stated during the interrogation of the militias.
Current whereabouts of the children’s father Anna Samluk, fighter “Aydar”, unknown.
Some aspects of the biography of the press Secretary Alexei Brain revealed to journalists by her friend, the head of the Alchevsk spiritual hospital Elizabeth Dyachenko.
When the city entered the brigade “Ghost” Alexey Mozgovoy, Anya saw an honest Patriotic militia, because, taking the blessing of his spiritual father, boldly came to the headquarters and said she is ready to help as a journalist-volunteer. Her professionalism and honesty made her press Secretary to the brigade commander’s Brain. In this position of responsibility Anya burned entirely, she was worried for what’s right and believed in the victory of good. After the burning of Odessa and fascist marches righties Anya knew what the price should resist the Donbass. She believed in the idea of a single Novorossiya as dedicated as its brigade commander, with whom she shared a mortal life, ” she wrote in the page of the Orthodox community in Alchevsk.
According to Elizabeth Dyachenko, Samluk assisted the rehabilitation center for patients with autism and cerebral palsy, led a “special School of journalism”. How to inform her students that Anna was killed, the hospital staff still do not know.
A very sad loss.

Commander of the 4th police battalion of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Alexei Mozgovoi was killed in a special mission of Ukraine’s Teni (Shadows) commandos, the detachment’s head Alex…
No, actually the ‘trolls’ are saying “good for Ukraine! Kill more!” because the believe the Junta did it. Only an informed person who knows the topic well would believe the Kremlin did it.
It would be helpful to know who assassinated General Mozgovoi.
The fact that the Russian leaders have not helped/explained, this, or the previous assasination, is very important. We expect no help from the imperialists, but we expect the truth from Russia.
*Or we do not expect the truth from Russia, and their President Vladimir Putin???????
Nobody knows anything. Oswald may not have done it. We (the reborn Russia) won’t help here either. The Truth? What do we owe the people of the world? Or our people for that matter?
No answers, no respect for the people, no respect for history (verb?). We are your leaders.
The Anarchist Collective believes in a well armed contentious and active citizenry, who direct less well armed Democratic Republic governments. Whether or not we arrive at out VISION is not as important as the fact that we have our VISION.
From Vladimir Putin, we expect a detailed explanation of what has happened to his Russian people and their military Generals in Novorossiya. If we do not receive a detailed answer, we will continue to learn and understand the nature of the Government we are defending. We never cease learning. Patterns of behavior provide clues, if not all the details.
We expect nothing from the imperialist powers. We ask them nothing. We will form Alternate Centers of Power. And through them, Alternate Governments. We will bring justice. And if we cannot achieve our dreams, we will have tried, And we will not have abandoned our Visions.
Our sadness lies with governments and their leaders from whom we expect more. For Vladimir Putin to treat these murders of Novorossyan leaders as some Foreign, and less important affair, an affair that does not merit, even a Press Conference, is unacceptable. The Novorossyans are Russia’s people. They are Russia’s soul and hope. Have they not paid enough?
Lenin made many errors, but he never failed to clearly denounce the imperialist powers, at every turn.
Vladimir Putin must not morph into another Stalin. The Russian opposition is not to be feared. The Russian opposition is to be feared only if it ceases to exist. Without opposition/s you have no freedom; you have no free people. So the imperialists finance (when they are able) portions of the opposition. What’s new under the sun? With an 80% approval rating, what the hell is Putin afraid of? Abandon all your worldly goods and join the fray. Yes, you achieved 8 goals in that realistic hockiy game. Who are you imitating? Kim Jong Il, Stalin? At least show some style, and imitate Trotsky.
For Durruti!
For the Democratic Republics!
IMAGINE
Antonsen, is that you do not get in your head that almost 90% of Russians think that Trotsky would have been the worst possible scenario of development?
If no one in Russia wants Trotsky, why would VVPutin want to imitate him? Furthermore, why would he want to imitate anyone?
And please, stop mixing apples with oranges mixing Durruti with Trotsky.
Durruti was a person, misguided or not, belonging to the people, while Trotsky was a bourgeois sold to capital (as all bourgeois) delirious to be considered above the average of their fellow citizens and therefore only joined the Bolshevik revolution to get power for Western bankers. Also why, along with his friends Zinoviev and Kamenev, despised Stalin.
Fortunately, Stalin and the Russians had enough common sense.
And fortunately so do the Russians today and their representatives, led by V.V.Putin.
Trotskyists today do nothing but blow any chance of change that can hover in the West, infiltrating citizens movements and leftist forces to blow them from within, masquerading conveniently as “pure left”. Anyone with half a brain realizes who these “gatopardianos”, supporters of “change something so that everything remains the same”, are when one see them defending “humanitarian interventions” of US in Syria and Libya and the remain in NATO. Anyone can even account that they made a living of it, by the ferocity with which they attack anyone who questions these views as inconsistent with a left position in the old and new left formations.

Elsi,
Trotsky died in 1940. The United States would not allow him to enter (for some reason) & he resided in Mexico from 1936-40. Trotsky was assassinated in 1940, by an agent of Stalin (Mercader), who was rewarded by Stalin, and after he left prison in Mexico, he lived the rest of his life in Soviet Czechoslovakia.
Those who speak in his (Trotsky’s) name – 75 years later – cannot possibly be used to denigrate Trotsky, any more than the imperialist & American/Zionist puppets of the French Socialist Party , who still praise Marx, can be allowed to diminish Marx’s stature. I say that although I disagree with much of Marx’s politics.
Fifty years ago, while a student in Mexico, I was introduced to the brilliant Muralist Painter, Siquieros, who as a leader in the Mexican Communist Party had organized the first (unsuccessful) attempt to assassinate Trotsky. Although Siquieros’ group were armed with machine guns, they failed (Trotsky explained afterwoods why they failed).
Some people wanted Trotsky-Kennedy-Mozgovoi and the others, dead. Some people are responsible. I do not have to be a follower of anyone, to support the victims against imperialist, or other totalitarian butchery. In 1905, (Lev Bronstein)-Trotsky was flawless after being elected as the President of the St. Petersburg Soviet. Lenin had great respect for him. Read Lenin’s final Testament, amont other documents. Trotsky formed the Soviet Red Army and proved a brilliant commander. His leadership was vital in winning the Civil War, and Lenin said so. Trotsky deserved better, and was fearless to the end.
One of the few things Trotsky was not accused of by Stalin, was serving “Western bankers”
Mention of Trotsky appears to trigger an angry reaction from you. I will attempt not to mention him again.
What did you think about the rest of my Missive?
For the Democratic Republics!
IMAGINE
If the LDR and DPR are becoming organized crime hubs, then they might as well rejoin Ukraine.
That country (and region) has significant cultural and governmental failings that seem to keep it bogged down in a failed-state existence
I’ll not indulge in pindaric pseudogeostrategical flight about this disgusting murder. More or less, are valid for it the same considerations I made about the disgusting murder of Batman (and the mayor..).

I won’t even bother to reply to replies….
Just a few words: whoever affirms that this is a job from Kiev or their puppeters is either a gigantic idiot or a gigantic vermin!
Without the truth, there cannot be any freedom, only a different kind of slavery. Maybe more pleasant, more convenient, even decent… but ultimately it’s always slavery to sin. It never ends well!.
Be merciful to Alexej Borisovich, Lord. Even if he did never ask for it, I shall ask for him: be merciful to Alexej Borisovich, Lord.
I am sorry I have to contradict you, Saker.
You may have seen this newsbyte from Sputniknews today:
http://de.sputniknews.com/politik/20150524/302467969.html (sorry, german only)
It says that Kiev has prepared 85 special ops teams for assassination and sabotage attempts behind the lines of DPR and LPR.
Also, there was THIS newsbyte some days ago:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-military-supports-ukraines-neo-nazi-national-guard-are-us-forces-involved-in-combat-operations/5444476
Quote: “The US military has announced that it is training Ukraine’s Neo-Nazi National Guard including its infamous Azov battalion, responsible for countless atrocities directed against civilians in Donbass. America’s training initiative is implemented in the context of a process of military escalation.”
And today came THIS:
http://de.sputniknews.com/politik/20150524/302466262.html (again: german only)
It says that a ukrainian regiment called “Teni” has claimed responsibility for the murder of Mozgovoi and his comrades.
(BTW: I am sure that you can find those Sputnik news articles on their webpage in “ussian, too.)
Adding one, two and three, I come to the conclusion that the Ukrainians, unable to defeat DPR and LPR in the field, have begun to use sabotage and assassination tactics to eliminate important DPR and LPR military commanders, in order to weaken their troops’ capabilities and morale and thus step by step soften up the Donbass region for yet another military assault.
Please spread the news and tell every military commander in DPR and LPR to be extremely cautious wherever they go, because there are US-trained ukrainian murderers on the loose in Donbass, who are after them.
Sadly, I am not kidding.
All the best to everyone,
Joseph Average
Colonel Cassad has posted his analysis of the murder and is leaning towards the ZPC/NWO side being responsible, with possible help of a collaborator(s) located in Novorussia providing them inside intelligence.
Революционеров можно убить, идеи – никогда
Убийство Мозгового – Кто и зачем? Часть №2
PS: apparently, the trolls are out in full force again
Yup.
Memorial gathering in Alchevsk for Mozgovoi:
Town Mourns Assassinated Militia Leader as Investigation Mounts
Around a thousand mourners came to honor assassinated militia commander Aleksey Mozgovoi in Alchevsk, where his Prizrak (Ghost) Brigade militia was headquartered on Sunday.
Relatives, fellow militia members and friends spoke at a microphone at the event, expressing their grief and condolences.
Mozgovoi wrote a beautiful and prophetic poem in 2013, well before Maidan coup and war breaking out.

The Finger Prints looks like MI6 or Mossad, partners in Love.
Insinuating that Putin himself had a part in this would be equally preposterous as similar claims were about Nemtsov’s killing.
Any reasonable police investigation starts with the question: in whose interest would the crime be, who would gain from it?
Besides the most obvious suspects, Kiev and the Empire, other ones that come to mind are internal Novorussian rivals and Russian fifth columnists pulling strings behind the stage.
There is a sharp division within the entrenched ruling political class in Russia. The main aspects of this have been many times analyzed by Saker, the two main opposing currents being the Atlantic Integrationists and the Eurasian Sovereignists. Both currents are very much alive today.
It then stands to reason to suspect that this division is strongly projected down into the Novorussian theater, materialized as a division in its military leadership. But a serious analysis of this would require a thorough familiarity with the actual situation and people involved, not the uninformed garrulous maligning or cheerleading. One is hoping that, in time, Saker could shed more light on this.
People they have rigth to be suspicious because of no clear Kremlin foreign policy. When Russia moves stealthily and frightened for support Novorussija people have right to suspect Kremlin. And there are many other reasons .
a.Putin reconized Kiev junta and shake hands with them but no the referendum of Novorossija .
b.No one has visit Donbass from Putins regime
c.Russia help Kiev Junta wih discount gas price and coal instead to topless the Junta ,with hard embargo.
d.No one from wanted Nazi like fx Dmitri Yarosh has arrest neither one murder of Novorussijan leaders.
c, The truce Minsk 1 AND Minsk 2 in time when NAF marching victorious
d.The darkness role of Vlad Sourkov who reminds ,Boris Berezovsky .
Ps I hope to publish my comment.Best regards
I fully agree with your points.
Incidentally, “Vladislav Surkov” is a shady Chechen whose real name is Dudayev (Асланбек Андарбекович Дудаев), an “advisor” to Putin with academic credentials that are not very high (a magister of economics). It is indeed conspicuous that throughout 1990-ies he worked for infamous fifth columnist Khodorkovsky and for a similar disreputable character Fridman, a Jewish oligarch whom Forbes ranked in 2014 as the 2nd richest man in Russia. Putin uses “Surkov” in the peculiar capacity of “advising him on relationships with Abkhasia, South Ossetia and Ukraine”…………
Whoever was responsible for this crime: they murdered a body, the Ghost will live on!
The sultry summer will come soon
Again there will be fight
The hero’s spirit will arise
And put his foes to flight
UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE: Europe, USA and beyond: 98% BEASTS accepted the Mark of the BEAST
They obey a small number of satanists, who together with the military and police forces protecting them (paid with what the satanists take away from the BEASTS) account for less than 2& of the population.
As for Novorussia: most of them finally started to resist in Spring 2014.
But since May 16, 2014, as the satanists took control of the leadership of Donetsk and Lugansk after the coup by the terrorists sent by nazi agent “Putin” most of them were not able to see or fight them.
This is why these infiltrators were able to assasinate, one after the other, the few leaders who didn’t accept the Mark.
BASICS
First time ever, and that doesn’t apply not only to russians: Slavs didn’t resist becoming slaves

I am still too devastated to reflect on it properly…
… but one thing is beyond doubt: Alexey Mozgovoy was the perfect man for serving as the president of Novorossiya.
I could not think of a more suitable man, honestly.
(With Zakharchenko as the prime minister.)
He was by far the most brilliant…
He was like Fëanor of Novorossiya…
May his spirit live forever! (That shall be our only hope from now onwards…)

Ok,
“1) While it is pretty darn obvious who killed Buzina, it is too early to establish who killed Mozgovoi. Those “armchair generals” who are already pointing the finger at this or that person or group are only making things worse and, objectively, doing Kiev’s bidding.
”
Ok, stop bullying commentators and readers with such comment.
If it was not for these “armchair generals” (i assume you are refering to normal people like me, you and everyone else), then noone would even question the west/usa MSM lies.
The “armchair generals” are one of the most important forces of mankind.
Without it we would have Hitlers WW3,WW4, etc almost every 10 years. Untill quickly gets extinct,
But i will not comment my though about this one.
Only that he was a truly great man. One of few with an honest pure hearth.
I did not agree with his leftist ideology-view. But i agree with his purity and goodness.
And this is a bad blow to naf.
But it will most likely survive it, allthough shortterm it drasticly weaken the LPR.
And put all lpr at risk to be controlled by P. Who is most likely not thrustworthy. But if war escalates then Ps sabotage will not hold.
If it was P or other behind Moz death? Most likely, but hopefully time will tell.
And most importantly, his work needs to continue.
Hopefully he have groomed several heritages to continue the legacy.
(Allthough more in the shadows, untill P is dealt with one day).
But “armchair generals” are very important in the world.
Without them MH17 would been 100% blamed on Naf, by everyone.
So no armchair generals are not doing kievs bidding.
But they are getting dust dug up, and making it harder to hide in the long run.
Ps, when i wrote P i did not refer to Putin.
I see odds of Putin havining anything to do with it less then 0,0001% chance.
However P(Grrr what is his name;) in Lugansk, very likely culprit behind it.
And his alliance with the corrupt Cossack groups who operate/steal in novorossia has been involved in several dealings before.
Even Strelkov had his runs with them. But did not have resources to deal with those war-profetering criminal gangs. (Which also has links to the lugansk leader P….).
you mean Plotnitsky, right?
He has nothing to gain from doing this. It just destabilises his republic at a time when they are very close to another war. Someone below him may have done it, but it is much more likely Kiev, as they gain the most from arguments in an enemy they’re about to attack.,
Don’t worry what Strelkov said. He sees treason, betrayal and personal enrichment in every shadow, and never wastes a chance to hint at it, but never with enough details to be refutable. More than anything, hes trying to suggest he is important enough to know information so secret that he can only hint at it.
S – this essay was forwarded to me by Andrei Spassky via OEN. I was very grateful
to have it available with your ideas about what may, or may not, have transpired. I
value your input and rather enjoy your fresh site presentation. I could only wish to
have known you personally. Your nearly-on-the-scene portrayal by your intimacy
with people like George and the conditions/players on-the-ground lends great
credibiliy/bona fide.
Your post script lays out why we’re where we are today, sadly.
MOZGOVOI FUNERAL

Just look at the crowd!!
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
to the last syllable of recorded time.
All our yesterdays which light fools
To a dusty death. Out out brief candle.
Life is but a walking shadow. A poor player
who struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more….
