Check out this amazing “public service announcement” photographed in the city of Kharkov:

Givi’s message about the status of Donbass:
http://en.voicesevas.ru/news/yugo-vostok/3878-givis-message.html
It is in English. For those who don’t click links:
The “Somalia” battalion commander, DPR Army lieutenant colonel (the callsign “Givi”) proclaimed the militia’s opinion of the “special status” which Kiev authorities ever have to favor the territory of Donbass with.
The militia does not accept any mess with “special status” Kiev has to favor Donbass with. The same Kiev which is not able to put things in order even on its own territory. Donbass IS and WILL BE a republic and EVERYONE should remember it. Return to Ukraine is not welcome by people of Donbass. You know, I don’t mean to be rude but let them imagine this law tucked in their hams. That’s to be honest. Do not get me wrong … I understand that sometimes the kids are watching me … but it just angers me. What the special status? We are Donetsk People’s Republic. We aren’t a part of Ukraine, we are not a part of the Russian Federation … What the status? This is another nonsense by smoke-filled monkeys with Ukrainian flags. They sat down, drank out, sniffed a “track” and decided something about the “special status”. What the fuck special status? Did we ask for it? No one did, no one to hell needs that. We are a status ourselves. What the “special status” could be there if there is the head of state, there are the ministries, there are deputies with their own Council. There are our own flags, both of General Staff and Republican. The LPR has the same. It’s much better to put in order their own life. I do not understand how a country like Ukraine can give us any kind of status at all. We have chosen our own status. We are a republic and we will be the republic. Remember it all. Earlier you went out on the street and people asked the question, “What will happen next?”. Now there’s another question: “Why, are we now a part of Ukraine?”. And then hysterical tears of mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, and friends, “what did my son die for?”, or anyone else, it does not matter … That will not be so! There will be the Republic! That we are fighting for. And we will bring this matter to an end!
Red Ryder,
Thanks for that message from Givi. It has brightened my day, and I am sure many others.
For the Democratic Republics! Here and There!
IMAGINE
Agreed. I’m now also telling those Ukrainians, the hate filled ones, that they now no longer have any right to the Donbass, they are the ATTACKERS, and you can’t murder their civilians and want them off THEIR land, refuse to pay the people their pensions, block their banks from dispensing their money, deny humanitarian aid and food supplies etc, and expect the people to simply accept what the (former) Ukrainian Government throws – literally and figuratively – at them. It’s a political divorce due to constant abuse – and criminality.
Kiev is only following Lincoln’s lead. :^)
Lincoln’s aim was to abolish slavery, Kiev’s aim is to impose it.
Sell your “PBS/History Channel” BS somewhere else!
Lincoln’s aim was to subjugate the southern States under the tyranny of the Federal US gov’t. And he succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.
Slavery? They call THAT the “narrative” aka LIE for selling the war!
RR, I add my thanks for this translation.
Givi’s words reminded me of a quote about power; that it can’t be given, it must be taken. I was searching for the original quote (NOT the Godfather tagline) and stumbled on this:
“[T]rue democracy — real freedom — is hard work. Those in power have to resist the temptation to crack down on dissidents. In hard economic times, countries must be tempted — may be tempted to rally the people around perceived enemies, at home and abroad, rather than focusing on the painstaking work of reform. Moreover, there will always be those that reject human progress — dictators who cling to power, corrupt interests that depend on the status quo, and extremists who fan the flames of hate and division.”
~ President Barak Obama, in remarks to the UN, September 2012.
You have to give the guy credit for explaining it so neatly.
Long live the freedom fighters and the people of Donbass. Greetings from Scandinavia.
Meant to say this earlier – yes, great stuff from Givi!!
And here’s something the good folks of Novorosiya should publicize to their misled Ukrainian brothers:

It would be a smash hit. Hilarious.
Actually, regarding Saker’s concluding (rhetorical) question about the Ziomedia, let it be known that my Schadenfreude would be all but uncontrollable were we demanded to seriously condemn the following announcement:
At any rate, the Ukros do seem to have a firm grasp of European values all right. It is people who attribute to the West any moral stature whatsoever who need their heads examined.

“let it be known that my Schadenfreude would be all but uncontrollable”
Schadenfreude merely replicates ideological perceptions/practices of the opponents and maintains and exacerbates conditions which have encouraged “present events”.
These mistakes have been made before and form part of the causation of the manifestations of belief and practices inherent in the slogan “Glory to the heroes” – a form of exceptionalism.
Schadenfreude is also a type of displacement/dissipation precluding the task in hand which is transcendence.
Condemnation is often also a type of displacement/dissipation precluding the task at hand which is transcendence.

Your mention of the “Ziomedia” recieves some back handed confirmation from the NYT. They have just realized that the Zionists have bought the American Congress. They say Republicans, but imply – both political gangs are in the Zionist land-thieves’ pockets. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/05/us/politics/gops-israel-support-deepens-as-political-contributions-shift.html?ref=todayspaper
America is no longer an independent nation. Nor is it a Democratic one. Nor is it a Republic.
Just a Totalitarian Terrorist Fascist Oligarchy
All the Western states are similarly controlled, a fact that one discerns easily enough by MSM bias, politicians’ slavish adoration of the ‘Eternal People’ (as Satanyahoo so modestly calls his tribe), and the growth of the debt mountain, the skimming off of which is our betters’ greatest contribution to humanity. One of the salient features of End Times Western evil is the total refusal to ever compromise with its victims or adversaries. They never give an inch, making maximalist demands on their putative victims, never, ever, attempt to reach a mutually satisfactory outcome (this is abused as ‘moral equivalence’)and threaten or impose violence and sanctions at every opportunity, no matter how many civilians die as ‘collateral damage’. In other words the Western elites treat their victims as non-human, so far inferior that their lives are of no consequence. Exactly as the Israelis treat the Palestinians, the Lebanese Shia etc, exactly as the Americans treated the Native Americans and all European elites treat non-Westerners, even world civilizations like China. As untermenschen. The eclipse of the West is such a powerful affront to the colossal egotism of Western elites that there is simply NO way that global war, soon, can be avoided, other than by Iran, China, Russia, Brazil, Venezuela etc, surrendering and allowing their populations to be immiserated and their countries smashed to pieces, exactly like Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya or Somalia.

it looks like it’s talking about an eurasoan equivalent of the Euro with singly monetary policy. Well, we see how that’s working out, with the loss of national monetary and fiscal policy for EU members. If the enemy has the plague, why would you want to develop your own version of such a dread disease?
I hope this is not what I’m reading it as.
The problem with the Euro is not the “Euro”.But the disconnect between the nations and the development policies among them. With the EEU,up until 23 years ago they were one country. The currency was one currency. And reuniting the currencies wouldn’t face the same problems as with the Euro.
Been a long day, but I’ll try to be coherent.
The problem is lack of independent monetary and fiscal policy and a nations control of it’s policies because of being tied into a common monetary system — like the states n the US are, or the nations in the EU which are subservient to the eurpoean central banking system. It means thay can’t print their own money to finance projects for employment, infrastructure and such, but have to go into debt to other countries. The nations become users of money instead of issuers of it.
If there is a common currency I don’t see how nations could remain sovereign, with a floating currency that was different for every nation, or how a foreign exchange system could exist. How could Greece’s Euro drop in comparison to Germany’s Euro, like a Drachma and Mark used to be? How can Greece print it’s own Euros as they might want to, to support it’s own fiscal policies and programs? This is why Greece can run out of money even with massive unemployment, underutilization, and other things which could be solved if they had control over its economy.
The problem is not the Euro.
The way I understand it is the EU is kind of two entities in one. There is the economic and the political. The political is dominated by populism and has had its ranks filled with nothing but “atlanticists”, while with the economic, think old money banking types.
There was a lot of foresite in its creation and it was set up in such a way with this in mind. The Euro was designed not just to rival the US$, but specifically to survive the death of the US$ by people who not only saw it coming, but by people who were not at all happy with subservience to the US after WWII. I know it’s easier to think of them as one entity and vassals to the US, but I don’t think it’s so black and white.
While it pains me to say, with the kind of populist stooges that had political control, Greece would have been ruined had they had control over the currency.
I’m not euro-centric. Think of me as a pragmatic sovereignist Greek who very much wants Greece to move away from Europe towards Russia. This is just the reality as I see it.
My point is that a single currency is not necessarily a bad thing. What you say about independent monetary and fiscal policy is good so long as you have good leadership. I suppose the EEU countries have less of a problem with this though than the Europeans do.
If I were to speculate though, I would say that Russia is positioning herself in preparation of the paradigm shift that will come with the death of the dollar.
As to leadership, there are two issues. One is if they are competent, and the other is what their interests are. In the EU, the leaders tend to be those in the richer and more powerful nations, such as Germany (and, of course, can also be influenced by the US), opening policies to both nations other than Greece having sway, and also by corruption or the interests of the rich bankers.
The problem in Greece I think is not popularism so much as lack of it — i.e., looking out for the wealthy and powerful rather than the people who got the short end of the stick. There will always be struggle between a nation and other nations, as well as within the nation between the different classes and factions, including the potential of corruption. That’s what makes accountability to people important, but the common currency, and also rigidly structured political organization, generally reduces such accountability.
(Three wolves and a sheep voting on what to eat for dinner is bad enough, but when the wolves determine the election system — or economic system — it’s worse.) When the oligarchs and banksters from a ‘union’ then the workers are in trouble.
Considering the story about controlling dissent in Ukraine we see the same sort of motives and forces at work: coercive power over democratic consensus among independent actors — always the underlying ‘game’. But this is an inherent part of capitalism: accumulation of wealth, means of production and land, and using that as leverage to control the political and economic rules to favor the capitalists who gain wealth by power, control or processes and media, and the wealth they have accumulated instead of working and producing new tangible wealth and legitimate business. That’s how the Greek workers, even while working more than others in the EU, lose their living standards, and property in the commons as it’s privatized. .

Problem with Euro is England which should never have been allowed into Eu.
It is the entlish who sabotaged wverything about Europe and euro by infiltrating and destroying the institutions from inside..Barrasdo and cathering ashron are only two of english spies. They have. A thous and spues inside European beaurocracy now.
The English always wanted to sabotage euro and they did.
This is what Napolean had been trying to do -evict the English parasites fron the body politic of Europe.
But stupid real Europeans go on fighting each other rather than sorting out thier common enemy the English nation.
“Why infiltrate governments, police, secret services, armies when you can take control the printing press?” was the simple idea behind the creation of the FED. Takes only a handful of Oligarchs and voila – it is all yours!
Step 2. Make the FED the model for a worldwide interconnected Central Bank franchise system and voila again – you own the whole planet. No discussions, no elections, no wars, no nothing needed – it is all yours!
That is roughly the current development stage of the human race on planet earth. Hilarious!
Zweistein, Yep. That’s what WWII was for: to make nations willing to give up their nationally-controlled central banks, placing them all under the control of the IMF, the banking cabal & the dollar as reserve currency.
Laughably, this was called “making central banks independent” (independent of the people and their elected representatives.).
Reads like a novel:

I think the idea is not to emulate the EU, but instead create a currency for the region to replace the current role of the dollar and the euro. Such a currency would need to be multinational in scope. Unless the countries do something of this sort, they wont be able to knock the dollar off its world reserve currency status. This is one of the necessary steps to retire the ZPC/NWO as world hegemon.
This would just a new tyranny like the EURO. I don’t find the “need to beat dollar hegemony argument” to be utterly foolish. Large state control is the problem, a Eurasian bank would offer nothing but more capitalism, and capitalism is the problem.

Yes Don, Russia should just go back to the 1920’s and wag their finger at the rest of the world and lecture them that they must drop capitalism. Some of your comment appears kind of mixed up, so I’m not sure I’m reading you correctly – if there is a misunderstanding, sorry about that. But I would advise taking a look at the fortruss.blogspot.com link blue posted. Very interesting developments described there. It’s not what you might think.
Capitalism will not be destroyed in one stroke. One step at a time. First you break away from the existing hegemon, and create alternatives in roughly the same system. The difference is political. A kinder nation steps to the front, one that actually even has a history of socialism, and that has retained a deep natural concern for its own people. Within such a system, your challenges to capitalism might stand a chance, if you were to work your heart out and join with others, and spend your lifetime at it. You would stand no chance under the current hegemon.

and it’s the ‘replace ruble’ that’s problematic. That’s not the same as replacing the dollar, and it leads to the problems I saw in my reply to Uncle Bob.
But they could establish a regional currency (and the region could grow as large as people like) to replace the dollar — it could become the international reserve currency and still allow national currencies to be sovereign and float in a foreign exchange (with all national currencies valued in terms of the new Altyn). A major problem with the Dollar as reserve currency is that it is controlled by the US, which can issue as much as it wants, but if a new Altyn was determined by a basket then it could replace the dollar and be independent of the US — almost like the old gold standard but without the problems of needing a limited mineral resource, easily manipulated, and limited to control by the countries who have gold (in the ground or in the vault).
There would be a limit to how much national currency could be created without it inflating in foreign exchange, and yet equalized domestically with the domestic tangible economy and resources, giving some leeway for national fiscal policies. Trading could also be done between nations using their own currencies, barter, or whatever arrangements they agreed to.
If a nation does not control it’s own money supply, then I don’t see how it can be considered sovereign…. which was a major point of the US getting the dollar accepted as the world reserve currency.
My problem with the EU (and hence the Euro) is not because of size. Its because of incompatibility.I have no problems with compatible or traditional historical nations united. In fact I see that as the future of economies in the world. It would appear what the RF is trying to do (and I applaud) is reconstruct the economic connections of the USSR days between CIS states. The EU problems are that they aren’t historically or economically able to fit together. There are some parts of the EU than can work united economically. But what they have ended with is a monster that seems to benefit only the most advanced parts of the EU.The old Soviet system distributed industrialization among the different republics in an effort (not always successful, but more so than the EU) bring them to a comparable level. The modern Western economic system seems to be about looting wealth from the less developed parts of the World to benefit the advanced Western countries, and their elite masters. That is a totally different system as intended by Russia and China in the “win, win” policy of international trade relations like the “Silk Road” and “Lisbon to Vladivostok” ideas they are pushing. As an example see the how the Ukraine (and Russia) benefited from the Ukraine/Russia economic connections. And now how the economy of Ukraine is collapsing with the break in that connection. The EU,to benefit their advanced countries only wants raw materials and a market in Ukraine. They have no desire to buy Ukrainian industrial products.Unlike Russia which had fruitful trade relations ,buying Ukrainian industrial products before the Western backed coup destroyed that.
Uncle Bob 1 says, “My problem with the EU (and hence the Euro) is not because of size. Its because of incompatibility.I have no problems with compatible or traditional historical nations united.”
Uncle Bob, correct monetary policy tends to be dynamic (changing) w changing conditions and intentions. The idea that some nations are compatible in monetary policies and others not, is incorrect, I think.
Why would all countries need the same monetary policy (actions) at the same time?
Surely the economies of some countries could be growing whilst others are shrinking?
Or when one country depends on tourism, another on industry, a third on resource extraction and the forth is dominated be services.
Trying to treat everything the same when it’s different is something that could be considered foolish.
If you intend to integrate your economies then you need to follow the same policies (only amended for regional differences). The reason the Mark worked well used throughout Bavaria and Brandenburg. And why the Euro doesn’t work the same used in Portugal and Germany together. You don’t have the same connection between them. While countries of the EEU are independent states as such.As the heirs of the Soviet Union’s combined economy. They have had over 23 years to see how splitting that economy was an error for those countries. It seems to me that the purpose of the EEU is to reintegrate the good parts of the old economy to the benefit of them all.
blue
I earlier misread what was being proposed and though China was also involved. So this is not about a single Eurasian currency to replace the dollar and euro, but instead, a reconsolidation of economies of countries that were once one country. The states involved are Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia, Kyrgyzstan may become a member soon. These are all former USSR countries who only developed their new currencies after 1991. This not like Europe where the countries have had different currencies and a separate existence for centuries. So this is nothing like the EU and the euro, it’s more like Scotland, England and Wales deciding on a single currency, since I think eventually, these countries will again become some sort of single entity, though not necessarily as they were before.
Rather than make these countries more vulnerable, it probably will make them stronger. Right now they are all weak and dependent on outside influence and very vulnerable to ZPC/NWO corruption and manipulation. Joining up together will reduce that. It will also give them more clout in Eurasia international associations with economic powerhouses China and India.
My concern is not organizing and uniting is various ways but whether the currency and political power, and the needs of individual nations, will be well balanced. The EU and Euro would have worked much better if the members were not under the control of the central authority, or if the central authority was somehow accountable to the needs of all the nation fairly and was pragmatically equitable. Movement towards unification of some kind, with lose of independence for the countries must be balanced with effective power for those people within the new unified organization. That was a flaw with the EU because even within it the Greeks did not have the power of Germany and other northern members and lost out to them.
The basic principle I see is that regardless of what sort of organization people engage in the right to defend one’s own interests can’t be negated. I notice even in Scotland there is a major movement to break away to independence, and the troubles in Ireland are infamous.
While Scotland (or at least many there) want independence. You will notice they were fighting tooth and nail to keep the Pound as a common currency in Scotland. That was a huge weapon the British government wielded against the Scots.Disputing whether they could still use the Pound.
Blue, Yes, not long ago I read a story on the plan to create a common currency– and had the same reservation that you have expressed. For example, it might be desirable to increase the money supply in one country but not in another. If they are tied together an important piece of sovereignty is gone. I believe the main force behind the EEU is that of the head of Khazakstan.
The Donbass has to be a republic, from the border with Russia until the Dnieper river. After some time, this republic has to do a referendum to ask people if they want to get union to Russia as did Crimea.

Firstly a visa (to allow him to speak personally with high level Zionists in the US?) and possible protection for his assets in Ukraine.

C’mon guys, please check what you quote, and don’t post hoaxes.
If Facebook was to be pulled from Russia, it would be ALL OVER all the news sites. Is it? nope. And the story mentioning Medvedev as President of Russia??? how long ago was that? the linked story is a passing comment years ago, NOT news.
If anything, it’s the other way around, with Russia sometimes thinking to put restrictions on Facebook and other social media sites, in line with their registration system for popular blogs.
Kat Kan is right, the facebook story originated with a Ukrainian site.

Yup, but very typical of western values. The real western values, not the fairey tale version they learn in “skool” and from their media.
The nazis are portrayed as some sort of anomaly or unexplainable phenomenon in an otherwise “well meaning” morale system. But the nazis were not some exception in the west, they were/are the rule. The rule when that system is given free rein to do as they please. The nazis were/are what happens when capitalism meets supremacism and all the pretenses are dropped. Both the greed and the bigotry explode. The oligarchs running the west, given the chance, would happily adopt most nazi-like policies, if they thought they could get away with it. They do institute nazi-like policies in their weaker colonies, such as the Ukraine, every chance they get. These oligarchs probably lament that most of the time, they have to be satisfied with implementing mere fascism, instead of a nazism-like strain of the disease that offers them more means of total control.
BTW, the treatment of “separatists” in banderstan is not that much different from the way “communists” were treated in the USA during most of the 20th century. Same sort of relentless, brutal persecution and demonisation.
They may have been blacklisted and such, but they weren’t murdered as they are in Ukraine.
“… but they weren’t murdered …”
In the “land of the free enterprise” authorities routinely subcontract the murders of their “targets”, “privatization” is the word, and all that might remain if anything are “suspicious circumstances” (which usually never reach the press; occasionally there may be accusations, but those are called “far fetched” and have short public life). These murders are not videotaped for “YouTube”.
On the other hand, among the murders that did reach the “free” press … ad hoc … come to mind big “incidents”, such as the police Memorial Day massacre of 1937 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorial_Day_massacre_of_1937 ), or the police assisted Greensboro massacre of 1979 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensboro_massacre ). Then you have known murders of various civil rights activists with “communist connections” in police raids or attributed to patsies…
They most certainly were murdered. And in large numbers. Think, for example, of the Black Panthers who were systematically eliminated, some assassinated, others jailed for life. Look at what is happening to Mumia Abu-Jamal, who has been jailed since 1981 and is currently close to death in Pennsylvania. Look at the Rosenbergs. Look at the Puerto Rican Socialists massacred.
Given the millions of “communists” (most of whom were either passing by or mere reformers) the US has killed, quite openly, in millions around the world since 1945 it would be very surprising if it had not been instrumental in killing domestic critics. Bad as Ukraine is it has not yet reached the levels to be found in, for example, the State of Georgia’s prison system. That’s why it still needs US training-starting on Hitler’s Birthday.
The USA is hands-down the greatest force for evil in human history. The deaths of tens of millions in military aggression, death-squad rampages and massacres and genocides by stooges like Suharto, Mobutu, Kagame, Zenawi etc, are outdone by those millions killed by the US-imposed international economic order, that entrenched poverty and misery through the ‘economic hit-men’ of the IMF, World Bank, WTO etc.
How true. Most people recall McCarthyism of the 1950’s, though it was not confined only to that era. And recall also the violent suppression of labor movements in the US between the two world wars, in all shapes and forms, “communist” or not. And the brutal treatment of political dissenters after the 1950’s…
As for violent treatment by the US authorities of American people in general, check this fresh snippet from Sputnik: http://sputniknews.com/us/20150402/1020395063.html . Makes you wonder … are those the genes of the original criminal convicts and sinister religious freaks who have invaded and populated the North American continent – now at work?…
OT, sort of, but – Brittania continues to rule the waves in terms of cheap, efficient killing efficiently brushed down the memory hole. IOW – the (presumably) official figures cited here are a quite impressive fiction. Consider:

0 police prosecutions

Black deaths in police custody since 1978-2002:

– Couple of related examples of domestic massacres. No prosecutions since 1969. Very, very little coverage. Not in the Yankee league though of course, at home at least. (Let’s not mention overseas…)

The best book on the topic of Hitlerism and its relation to Western Civ is called “Hitler as Philsophe: Remnants of the Enlightenment in National Socialism.” Highly, highly recommended to understand the source of Hitler and Naziism is the same as Anglo-French Liberalism. Best book I’ve found on the topic.

@Andrew: what an HIGHLY INTERESTING BOOK. Alas, on Amazon a 2nd hand copy goes for 64 bucks. Does it exist as ebook?
Thanks,
The Saker
Saker:
I might be able to send you a photocopy. I have to check if I still have mine and where I put it.
Saker:
Do you read German Fraktur? Have you ever perused Bishop Alois Hudal’s (the organizer of the ratlines) book on National Socialism?
@Andrew: I might be able to send you a photocopy.< Thanks, but that is too much work. I will scrape the money and get it from Amazon, no worries. Do you read German Fraktur? Have you ever perused Bishop Alois Hudal’s (the organizer of the ratlines) book on National Socialism
I read and speak German and I can read Fraktur but slowly simply because I am not used to it. And, no, I have not read the book in question and it sounds *extremely* interesting too. Do you have it?
I spend a lot of time in Buenos-Aires in the late 1970s early 1980s and a lot of Nazi litterature was available there. You could even get reprints from the Volkischer Beobachter in the subway along daily papers, but I was too young and, frankly, to stupid to use this opportunity to read Nazi propaganda. I tried to catch up later, but it was not so easy to come across and that was not my main specialty (besides, I have always been far more interested in Marxism than in National-Socialism – after reading Mein Kampf I got really bored with this nonsense).
Anyway, please let me know if I can get Bishop Alois Hudal’ writings somewhere as this sounds extremely interesting.
Cheers and thanks,
The Saker
PS: email me directly if you want :-)
Saker:
Making you a photocopy is not a problem. I photocopied the book out of a university research library some time ago and believe I still have the pages.
I’m travelling until Tuesday, but would be glad to check into where it is at home then. Making a new photocopy is simple – just run it through the machine at work and send it to you. Won’t cost me anything. Please don’t waste your funds.
I do also have Hudal’s book. Another research library photocopy. I’d be happy to send a copy your way. I feel it is important original source material.
Can they be sent to your PO box in Florida?
“I spend a lot of time in Buenos-Aires in the late 1970s early 1980s”
Perhaps 1973 to 1977 would have proved more interesting – the times when Ford were selling more falcons.
@ Andrew,
Although Chancellor Hitler has become the equivalent of a freaky high priest from hell [thank you Zionist media. Yes, that ploy did and does work well and look at how all the Goy – that’s how you’re really perceived- throw that word ‘Nazi’ around like it’s frigging candy], but in a weird twist, in a mindbogglingly historical perspective, Mr. Putin must now understands, perfectly well I think, how Mr. Hitler felt [as both man were highly popular with their respective populace and had FUKUS going after them].
Has Poroshenko built a car for his people yet?
Has he built highways to drive them on?
Did he create jobs for the jobless?
Did he cut off the banksters [wink, wink, nudge, nudge]?
Did he drag his country away from the snapping jaws of hopelessness?
Did he bring wealth to Joe&Jane-6-pack?
And on and on and on…
When ‘you’ say ‘Nazi’ I don’t envision an image of drunk, Ukrainian imbeciles, saluting whomever or whatever. I see people that invented rockets, which would bring us to the moon [later on]. It’s a philosophical mismatch in my mind [and, of course, not ‘your’ problem].
Germany doesn’t seem to have a history before WWII. Why is that? Who keeps it that way?
I just fired my copy-editor. What a ff-ing
heckhack!Yes. And der Führer in his Enlightenment also: attacked Russia, planned to make its people slaves prior to exterminating them all through sterilization, succeeded in getting rid of only 30,000,000+ of them, then croaked in a bunker. How highly interesting.
Q; How highly interesting.
R; OK. No history before WWII then…
There is an “over abundance” of WW2 related books on Germany, true. But there are some highly rated writings on Germany pre-Hitler.I’ve never had a real problem reading about German history (though in English it is limited). The same is true by the way on Russia. Its not that there are not some really good books on Russian history. Its that many of them haven’t been translated into English. So I’m left with reading reviews of,or footnotes quoting them. And sometimes being lucky and finding a translation.Basically,as a rule of thumb. If you see a book on Germany or Russia by a history professor. One that you have to know the subject to fully understand. That is the one to read. The others usually are written by people with agendas (maybe an agenda we agree with, maybe with one we don’t).And those I always take with “a grain of salt” and refer back to the other ones to check on whether the agenda ones could be truthful or not.Understanding about a nation or people,is not an easy task.It takes a lot of reading and comprehending of the histories. And that is why a country whose population mostly can’t even find Ukraine (or most countries) on a map is the wrong one to interfere in Ukraine or any other country.
@ Uncle Bob 1
“… a country whose population mostly can’t even find Ukraine (or most countries) on a map …”
Verily true :-) … ;-(
Russian РИА НОВОСТИ got this nice piece about it:
Fidel Castro called the educational system of the USA deformed
HAVANA, 20 Aug 2010 – RIA Novosti Oleg Vyazmitinov. Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro criticized the education system in the U.S., calling it in an article published on Thursday ”deformed and depraved”.
In the new article, published under the title “Did I exaggerate?”, Castro cites the data of a sociological survey of the American university Beloit in Wisconsin.
The authors of the survey point to the low educational level of many students in the USA. So, in the survey, several students expressed confidence that Michelangelo was a computer virus, Beethoven – the name of the dog from a movie, and that American companies have always worked in Vietnam.
“Anyone would be confused when he sees the extent to which deformed and depraved education is in a country with more than 8 thousand nuclear weapons”, writes Castro.
“And there still remain reasonable people who are able to believe that my warnings are exaggerated!” – continues the leader of the Cuban revolution.
In his two previous articles Castro had cited excerpts from the book by Daniel Estulin “Secrets of the Bilderberg club”, in which the author argued that politicians, bankers and entrepreneurs through this club determine the fate of the world and peoples. Castro emphasized those parts of the book, in which, according to him, Estulin “irrefutably talks about how… the minds of young people and children in the U.S. are deformed by drugs and the media”, and that it happens “with the participation of American and British intelligence agencies”.

To find a good pre-WWII history on Russia or Germany, look for OLD books. Books written in the 40s and before are especially impressive. You will find that the authors are much better educated, express themselves w finesse and precision. Their footnotes always indicate knowledge of several foreign languages.
Such books can be found at libraries (at big research libraries you may have to request them from the stacks). Also you may find them at certain types of used bookstores.
Perusing such books will give you a whole new appreciation of the educational system we have lost (at least here in the US).
PS Even just fiction written in the 50s or earlier is sooo much better to read.
One of the best ways is the “inter-library Loan” system. I’ve gotten access to many important books over the years that way.
“No history before WWII then…”
Yeah, right… Mein Kampf, the blueprint of everything to come, was written well before the WWII, wasn’t it…
A narrow line between genius and madness. Madness destroyed them and now all we see is the neo-nazi street gang types.
@ Peter,
Q; A narrow line between genius and madness.
R; I’m an intelligently
reclinedinclined individual and I have an imaginary friend that has a stutter, so I won’t comment on that.In the grand scheme of things, I always try [with a big emphasize on ‘try’] to understand why something happens, how it happened, who helped in it happening, who benefited from it happening, etc.
I saw an interesting speech by your former PM Kevin Rudd about Chinese/US relationships. Very interesting. The name the Chinese gave him [KR] is brilliant.
Thanks for the link Daniel. I read through the full speech.
Whitlam was as far as I know the first US regime change in Australia. In the days of the cold war the US considered Whitlam a security risk.
From wikipedia.
“During the two weeks the so-called “duumvirate” held office, Whitlam sought to fulfill those campaign promises that did not require legislation. Whitlam ordered negotiations to establish full relations with the People’s Republic of China, and broke those with Taiwan”
The Whitlam regime change was in 75. John Piligar wrote a good article on it.
Rudd spoke Mandarin (I think). It is starting to look like he was the target of a second US regime change operation in Australia.
I think you could say Harold Holt was the first regime change done by Australias friends. If you scratch the surface. I like that the Aussies named a swimming pool in his memory.
But yes, Kevin Rudd was a definite back stabbing led by the ambassador of the US via Labor party big wigs.
Disghusting. Seems to sum up Australian politics.
Justin, Rudd was also targeted by our local Judeofascists, who more or less control our political parties. Rudd expelled a Mossad agent at the Israeli ‘Embassy’, on recommendation from our security services (this was probably to set him up). It came after the Israelis stolen Australian passport identities used in the ritual murder of a Hamas operative in Dubai. This was a repeated such theft, and came after Israeli ‘assurances’ (ha bloody ha!) that they would not do it again. Moreover Rudd had changed Australian votes at the UN to be less slavishly pro-Israel, so the sayanim in the ALP parliamentary group, and their Sabbat Goy stooges on the ALP Right, organised Rudd’s termination, to be replaced by Julia Gillard, a pro-Israel fanatic. Rudd, almost incidentally, was a nut, a monomaniacal control freak and bully. As are most of the politicians ‘thrown up’ by our system.
Daniel Rich:
I spent 6 years in school studying German language and culture and have spent a few months wandering Germany/Austria/Bohemia/Switzerland on my own. If you don’t know how to find pre-Weimar histories of of Germany or investigations of social topics in Germany pre-1920 in English, then you aren’t looking in the right place. There are lots of very good books on modern Germany, especially in the period from the Silesian war onwards which give the background to the outbreak of Hitlerism (the philosophies supporting Hitlerism were deeply ingrained in north German culture by the Prussian state from the time of the King Frederick’s).
Regarding Hitler, when one looks solely at the economic, scientific, and social effects of his program on the German nation, up to, let us say, August 31, 1939, he would obviously be thought of as one of the greatest leaders of Germany. You haven’t even listed 20% of the positive accomplishments of the period of 1933 to 1939 in your list above. If he had died in the summer of 1939, his name would be spoken of like that of Bismarck and Frederick the Great, and in fact, probably even more highly.
However, he didn’t die, and he also had a foreign and military and racial policy clearly outlined in Mein Kampf with the most horrific consequences not only for his enemy victims (Slavs and Jews), but also for the German people themselves, who saw 1000+ years of history their east of the Oder River, Erzgebirge, and Boehmerwald wiped away in the blink of an eye. This policy can be summed up as a policy of mass murder, cultural destruction, kidnapping, and enslavement to completely wipe Polish and Russian Slavic culture from the face of the earth and turn Poland, the Baltics, Ukraine, and Russia into a Germanized land. You can’t start talking about Reichsautobahns and Volkswagens without also acknowledging that this network was intended to stretch east from Koenigsberg and Koenigshutte to the Urals and be built on the backs of Russians and Tatars who would then be physically eliminated or else re-enserfed to slave for new German noble masters.
The reason the West Ukrs are being called Nazi’s today is because they are fighting with the same intention as Hitler’s legions in 1941 – posing as defenders of the white race and Christendom, they have a single aim of the physical lquidation of the single largest white ethnic group in the world and the plunder of their land – the Russians (there are 20+ million more Russians than even the Anglo-Saxons or Germans including those across the sea in the Americas).
And if your image of a Nazi isn’t a drunken Ukr, then maybe you should read up more on original Nazis, who used perhaps a million drunken Ukr’s as Hilfswilliger in the Wehrmacht, as Auxillary police in Poland, Ukraine, and Russia, and as concentration camp guards and process workers in the Nazi mass murder program. The dainty German Nazis, many of whom actually had a normal aversion to the murder of civilians (read Himmler’s famous speech in 1943 in Posen concerning this), were more than happy to hand off lots of the bloody work of reorienting the demography of the East to the drunken Ukrs of Galicia, who quickly proved themselves more than equal to the task, and enthusiastic, unreflecting, and unapologetic about it to this day to boot.
When you see drunken and possessed Ukr’s marching and shouting “Slava Shukheyvich” and “Slava Bandera”, try to imagine Germans today selecting the grandson of Heinrich Himmler to a prominent political role and marching in the streets shouting “Heil Himmler” and “Heil Globocnik”. Try to understand to that “Heil Hitler” means “Hitler is salvation” (“Heiland” = “Heaven”, “Heil” is “Salvation”) and that “Slava Bandera” has the same connotation – “Slava” – “Glory” is directly related theologically to Glorification, Sainthood, and Salvation. Try to understand they aren’t adopting Nazi signals because they want Autobahns, but because they worship their own race as divine and aim at a bloodbath with the physical annhilation of the Russian people.

Andrew, I second (third?) the comments of Larchmonter445 and Uncle Bob 1 in appreciation of your reply to Daniel Rich. As an American, I would only amplify, as follows, by way of indicating both the extremes of 1) American Culpability for the Hitler Project and 2) American Hope for Redemption from its roles in the tragedies of the twentieth and late nineteenth centuries:
1. American Culpability: Wall St, the House of Morgan, etc and their senior partners in the City of London (as well as the King who abdicated the throne, and his American bride) were enthusiastic supporters of Hitler and Mussolini, because they themselves were fascists (identifying themselves as members of an imperial class, modelling itself on the Roman oligarchy, down to the use of the “fasces” symbol of ax with bundle of rods, the sign of authority for Roman magistrates. More specifically, Brown Brothers Harriman servant and patriarch of the Bush Clan Prescott Bush was CFO of an essentially one client (Fritz Thyssen, post- WW II author of “I PAID HITLER” ) Wall St bank, the Union Bank which was seized by the FDR administration in 1942, after Pearl Harbor and the US declarations of war on Germany and Japan, under the Trading With the Enemy Act. See the Unauthorized Biography of George Bush by A. Chaitkin and W. Tarpley for a page which reproduces the Executive Order which shut down Union Bank, that these researchers discovered in the United States Library of Congress. When Hitler’s party did badly in the parliamentary elections and was insolvent, and the future Fuehrer was seriously contemplating suicide, it was none other than the grandfather of pre-presidential candidate Jeb Bush to the rescue, with funds from Wall St.
Zoom out from the shocking particulars, however, for an overview of the generative principle at work here:
Imperial BRITISH “Geopolitics”…., i.e “Whosoever controls the World Island (largest continent, Eurasia) rules the world.” Halford Mackinder
Therefore, divide and conquer wars for splitting up and weakening Eurasia is THE first principle of sea-based global imperial control.
Therefore, prioritize the ruination of any German (industry, science) natural alliance with Russian (manpower, natural resources) economic development of the “World Island” as a whole. And that’s the role of Hitler, which he almost certainly did not understand, as just one of millions and millions of psychological victims of Act 1 (WWI). Another psychopath turned arch criminal. Yet a piker compared to his controllers, who found they could not always successfully control him, once they set him into motion.
Today? “It’s like Deja-vu all over again!” (Yogi Berra, catcher, New York Yankees, for you non-Americans out there.)
2) The Hope? Deep down, your average American is NOT imperialist. We are lousy at that role. Our state has been hijacked by outright fascists (neocons) and we are represented in the Congress and Senate mainly by Wall St cowards and fools, Americans hate what they are doing.
Germany and Russia are not the only natural allies who have been set against each other. Ditto Russia and USA. We just need to subdue our neocon hijackers and correct course, with the aid of our friends in the BRICS, that used to admire us, and for very good reasons, some decades ago. There’s a LOT of work to do!
mind & soul, The neocons are only the tools of very rich men, the international banking cabal & the boards of directors of the largest transnational corps.
Penelope,
Of course. If my posts ever seem to get muddy on such a clear point, clarification is entirely welcome. Unfortunately I haven’t the time for much self editing or re-composition. Sometimes haste makes waste. Thanks!
Andrew, true and sad. To see the creative potential of the Germans freed from usurious chains to only then be destroyed by old divide and conquer tactics.
I often wonder how well things would have turned out in Europe if there was non of this racial supremacy disease.
Basically, similar ideas and peoples were set against each other by third parties and instead of joining each other and building a strong Eurasia together, they created hell in Europe. For the benefit of the real fascists who were not in Europe but residing in England and the USA.
Even the famines of the Soviets were due to OS finance boycotting Soviet payments in any form except for grains. Why the early Soviets insisted in conforming with such payments, well, maybe because the early power elite in the Soviet system were in league with international cartel finance. To the detriment of the local populations. Just as fighting each other was to the detriment of the Germans and the Soviets under Stalin.
Todays event’s are just a repeat, divide and conquer to again try and stop Eurasia from being. Nationalism and false ideology of rascism being used to drive a wedge between neighbours who would benefit more from working together.
From the book blurb: Birken challenges the conventional wisdom that Hitlerism was a revolt against Western values. (…) National Socialism (…) was nothing less than an attempt to create a metaphysical foundation for the German nation-state after both the Frankfurt Assembly and the Bismarckian pseudo-Reich had failed to do so. (…) by grounding German nationalism in race, Hitler sent his country on a path toward destruction in the Second World War. Birken closes with the warning that our current failure to provide a post-modern substitute for nationalism invites the reassertion of the Enlightenment obsessions of nation and race. (…)
M Weber, discusses the book and Birken’s take on the “post-modern substitute for nationalism” ecc.:
http://www.ihr.org/jhr/v16/v16n5p34_Weber.html
Weber reckons that Birken is no great shakes as a scholar but that the theme he chooses is interesting and relevant to today – i.e. as I understand it, that the problems H tackled are still with us today and that while H’s answers were extreme they were not outside the Westerrn paradigm (hence Hitler ‘philosophe’). Birken’s view is that if we westerners don’t become truly multi-racial/-cultural/-everything Hitler will come pay us a visit again in the not too distant future. On the other hand, Weber says, truly multi-racial/-cultural/-everything societies are an impossibility and that if somebody wanted to impose one on us the repression they’d require would be very harsh indeed.
If they thought they’d get away with it, they’d have them all with some star of David equivalent sewn on there clothes – instant death jail or whatever for failure to comply…
But they will not, or cannot, because they are cowards. Hideous, monstrous cowards.
Peace, love and courage to all the good people of Ukraine.
pb
Nazism and fascism are simply variants of the psychopathy that characterises Western elites and has done so for millennia. Hatred of the other, however you like to define them. Love of violence, and the worship of killing as a means to achieve some quasi-magical control over death, which they fear so very much, possessing no genuine spiritual essence themselves. Utter unscrupulousness. Total indifference to the suffering of others, even a malevolent delight in their suffering. The USA always, without exception, chooses the vilest and most evil types as their preferred ‘allies’. Ukraine is no different, and could not have turned out otherwise.
Mulga Mumblebrain,
It would be wise to be more cautious in the use of absolutes:
The USA always, without exception, chooses the vilest and most evil types as their preferred ‘allies’.
REALLY??
Consider:
1. James Monroe and John Quincy Adams warning off especially imperialist Britain, France and Spain from any attempts at colonization or recolonization in the Western Hemisphere, north or south.
2. Freshman Illinois principled Cong. Abraham Licoln introducing his Spot Resolution (Show me the “spot” where Mexican troops supposedly attacked Texas settlers in Texas —they didn’t…..American cavalry attacked a Mexican village in Mexico…….) challenging imperialist US President James Polk and losing his bid for re-election because of the failure of residents in his district of Illinois to think clearly under conditions of war hysteria driven false patriotism common among almost any people anywhere on this planet……
3. Lincolnite, anti-British “free trade” Presidents James Garfield and William McKinley promotiong anti City of London and Wall st policies of dirigistic economic development at home and abroad…….
4. FDR informing Winston Churchill that America was entering the war not to save the British Empire, but to stop fascism, with a commitment to terminate British policies of resource extraction against African and Asian peoples, leaving them nothing with which to better their lives, at war’s end.
5. JFK’s Alliance for Progress, Peace Corps, etc and heeding of Gen Douglas MacArthur’s and Dwight Eisenhower’s admonition to stay out of any land war in asia……
Now consider that in all cases but Monroe and Adams, there is strong evidence, in some cases (esp Lincoln, McKinley and JFK) overwhelming evidence of the role of British Intelligence in the assassinations of these men ( search “Why the British Kill American Presidents” online and someone instruct me how to post links directly in my posts….I’m new at all this internet stuff!) and you will begin to grasp the fact that American were not always as pathetically evil or clueless as they appear to be today, AND, the plain fact (promise me you will admit it, after you have researched it in depth….) that there were no greater setbacks to The Empire since 1750 than 1776, Cornwallis’s surrender to Gen George Washington at Yorktown, and Abraham Lincoln’s 1860 election to the presidency and subsequent defeat of The Empire (overtly British in those days) in their Confederate States of America attempt to Balkanize the USA, EVER, ANYWHERE ELSE on this planet by anyone, anywhere!!
Now the USA may need Russia’s assistance yet again (1. Catherine the Great, key member of the anti-British League of Armed Neutrality 2. Czar Alexander II sending the Russian Navy to New York and San Francisco to keep Britain and France from militarily, via their navies (not just economically or via their spies and intelligence services) in a different way, in actually frustrating our current mis-government, until we can change it. 3) The Red Army and Russia doing the far greater portion of the fighting and the Russian people bearing 50 times more of the losses in WWII than Americans did.
Tell a lot of Americans, “Putin is not your enemy, he’s your friend.” and many of them will say, “Well at least he seems to be doing something for HIS people, unlike our president or congress.”
Then, realize that the American people have been subjected to more cultural warfare, more brainwashing, more assassinations of their few good presidents than any other country on earth, precisely because, when the better side of them is allowed expression, Americans historically have been more organically 1) Anti-Imperialist by identity, and 2) conscious of some world changing capacity and responsibility (much like Russians, not to criticize the people of smaller, less powerful nations, where a truly globe affecting identity exist among far, far less of its population….) and perhaps begin to see them as potential allies for good, instead of a bunch of depraved demonic enemies. Defeat their bad governments and help them change those governments (same task as in western Ukriane) instead of lusting for their defeat and punishment for their admitted sins of ignorance and error. More sins of omission than commission, in the case of my fellow citizens, I would say.
Yesterday (Easter Sunday) I was at a barbecue where I visited with a Muslim man, from Lebanon, who owns a restaurant here in America. He was elated to have met me. At one point, he said, “if ten percent of Americans knew what you know, we win, everybody wins!” I thought to myself, “No, if 1% knew 10%, everybody, i.e humanity as a whole, wins. Defeat our Tories, traitors and neocons, yes. But don’t give up on the American people yet. There’s hope here, believe it not, but time to end this post, for now. Don’t write off any human beings, even the English ordinary people, who similar operations were run on, to make them the seat of Empire for a few centuries. Thank you.
Mind and Soul, thank-you for the correction to my absolutist assertions. Of course I should have said, ‘The USA’s ruling elites, supported by vast numbers of the US population, most often more than 50%, have, since WW2, always chosen the vilest and most evil types as ‘allies’. That corrected declaration is, I am sure, irrefutable.
Mulga Mumblebrain,
I don’t think most Americans since WWII act or support anything, by anything close to a majority. I’d say most of my fellow Americans have concluded that it’s smart to pretend to be stupid, because they are afraid to stand out and prefer to blend in and sniff the wind for the direction it is blowing in at any given moment. Their shrinkage into microscopic dimensions has seemed to enlarge those you and I both despise into enormous giants. An effect only possible by the population’s moral and spiritual shrinkage and virtual disappearance, much more by acts of omission than commission. Refute that statement, if you can. And thanks for civility of the word jousting.Goodnight!
Well mind and soul, it appears that the difference in our positions is explained by the fact that I count the US public’s ‘moral and spiritual shrinkage…..by acts of omission..’, or as you point out, by not making waves, as ‘support’. The same situation applies here in Australia, too. Those who dare ‘rock the boat’, are abused, ignored, censored or victimised. The Murdoch apparatus is quite venomous in this sort of vendetta. Moral and spiritual diminution is a pretty apt description of our society’s trajectory since the mildly reformist Whitlam Government was removed, on US orders, in a constitutional coup in 1975.
Well said, Mulga, Mumblebrain. It’s a long haul, but our potentials are rising, and those of The Empire are declining. Parasitism, by its very nature tends towards self destruction. We may actually live to see the evolution of our species transcend such crap, or go up in smoke trying to do so.
I take the long view: The Universe will continue to evolve towards higher and higher states of organization, and life, and consciousness, in any case, regardless of what we do. That’s a given. How much more interesting and beautiful, however, if we successfully persist in our struggle to outgrow our species’ adolescence and then participate more creatively and effectively in the larger than this earth process, potentially eternally, should our species’ life outlive that of our sun, than if we crap out like a bunch of cowards and idiots that can’t rise above the level of mental slaves of this disease of civilization called Empire, and go extinct in the process.
I’ve been to Australia as a child, living in the Middle East at the time, mid to late 1950’s. My father enlisted under Gen Douglas MacArthur’s command, in Sydney, in early 1942. I wouldn’t expect anything other than a rather severe drop in the informed Aussie estimation of Yanks in those 70+ years. Especially after the Kennedy assassination. Let’s hope we’ve hit bottom and have at least another comeback left in us.

But Greece tripped & came FIRST.
Going into arrears at the IMF – even for a few days – is an extremely risky strategy. No developed country has ever defaulted to the Bretton Woods institutions. While there would be a grace period of six weeks before the IMF board declared Greece to be in technical default, the process could spin out of control at various stages.

The comment “no developed country has ever defaulted to the Bretton Woods institutions”, is technically true but also misleading — in the context of IMF loans.
(The full article can be read here:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11513341/Greece-draws-up-drachma-plans-prepares-to-miss-IMF-payment.html
)
All the countries that were in financial trouble before 2008, and were thus submitted to IMF supervision, were not developed economies. Argentina (2002-2006) actually defaulted on IMF loans.
Taking IMF money is highly humiliating for any country; that’s why developed countries always avoid it. When the United States faced a serious commercial deficit, in 1971, president Nixon preferred to default on its gold payments, rather than calling the IMF in (like other less developed countries with similar problems had to). This was a very risky step: the US government abrogated a financial commitment it had made to the rest of the Western world at the Bretton Woods Conference, in 1944. A cornerstone of the Bretton Woods system of economic management was ruined by that act. Without the gold standard, economies could no longer be efficiently managed. Commercial deficits could be kept, as long as financial markets couldn’t care less. This situation has accelerated the flight towards globalized financial markets and deregulation; as this process caused rampant offshoring of industrial production, it further weakened the position of the US economy, relative to the rest of the world.
Nevertheless, life went on. The Berlin Wall crumbled, like Jericho’s, and History was snapshotted and stopped right there, by Francis Fukuyama. A few years later some very serious people, working on the premise that History had really, really stabilized, created the franken-euro currency. At the same time, across “The Pond”, some brilliant minds, well versed on the art of stochastic differential equations, bred the sub-prime loan bonanza. And then a stock market crash, almost as severe as 1929’s, hit the financial markets.
Soon after the crash, some of the countries recently promoted to europeanness were hammered down to underdevelopment, with the blessing of the IMF. However, we still cannot see big debtor countries — like Italy, or Spain — being coerced into taking the IMF hammer. Maybe, it will come to that; if, and when, the vulture population expands to previously inaccessible territories.

Malaysia Helicopter Crash Kills Top Government Officials
A former Minister of Science of Malaysia, who also was a former ambassador to the US, was among six people who died in a helicopter crash in western part of the country on Saturday, local authorities said.
The authorities confirmed that Jamaluddin Jarjis, member of Malaysian parliament and former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, was onboard the chopper that crashed at a rubber plantation in the town of Semenyih, The Star reported.
Among people on board was Private Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office.
The helicopter crashed after exploding in mid-air at about 4.50 p.m. [09:50 GMT] local time. All the people on board, including another Malaysian high-ranking official have died.
Bodies of all six people who were aboard the helicopter have been recovered
Currently, police and fire fighters are working at the crash scene.
The conspiracy nut in me finds this suspicious.
BOT TAK:
Pretty non-coincidental along with losing three civilian airliners, which also caused deaths among officials.

Well, you can always visit Ukraine Today on google +, and let them know how you feel about the articles they publish there. Then, you can look up ‘Sergeant Raven’ also on google +, he wants the US to give Ukraine Javelin missiles, and parrots ‘Glory to Ukraine’ – speaks English, but he’ll probably run away.
The US and EU are showing the poison and evil of their true nature which is being poured into willing agents in Ukraine.
It appears NATO/US is trying to resurrect East Germany. Poroschenko’s “Martial Law” bill calls for the “internment” of Russians living within Ukraine, along the lines of the ethnic Japanese being confined to concentration camps in the USA during WW2. Did Ukraine sign and ratify the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? The Fort Russ item about changing teams seems correct given the ease Ukrainian/NATO/US propaganda has dissolved and ever more people learn reality.

APRIL 3:
http://cassad-eng.livejournal.com/152612.html
The Chairman of the Ukrainian Security Service Valentin Nalivaichenko believes that the SBU should be reformed by using the security service of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists—Ukrainian Insurgent Army as an example.
“There is no need to come up with anything unnecessary—it’s important to use as foundation the traditions of and methods used by the OUN-UPA Security Service between 1930 and 1950. It operated against the aggressor under conditions of temporary territorial occupation, it had patriotic upbringing, combat counter-intelligence, and it relied on the peaceful Ukrainian population, whose unprecedented support it enjoyed,” Nalivaichenko said.
A similar article here at fortruss. It also has links to scanned documents of methods used during that time, though the documents not being in English I cannot read them.

“European values” are coming to the Ukraine, but in their Euronazi variant…
*
Nazi-natoists variant
Ukraine can never be a united country after all this conflict. Not now.
I am waiting, I hope not in vain, for the Russian Federation to lose all patience with these Nazi scum, and to put an abrupt, and well deserved end, to their reign of terror.
The US and the US dollar is war, sanctions, threats, blackmail, false flags ect. To provide an alternative Russia/China must be seen as mediators/negotiation.
Russia will support NewRussia/Ukraine but they must clean up their own backyard. The alternative is WWIII where hundreds of millions will die.
@ eric calderone
Q;… to put an abrupt, and well deserved end, to their reign of terror.
R; What do you think FUKUS will do if that happens?
What they are doing now. They will strengthen the Cold War 2.0 against Russia. But unlike the first this one doesn’t have an ideological twist to it.Which is why they can’t get it working like the first one.As well as this time around Russia is friends with the worlds rising star economic star. The West doesn’t have the same bite they used to have. They won’t attempt overt military actions for the same reason they didn’t during the other one. They aren’t interested in dying themselves in a nuclear firestorm. And if anything Russia is better prepared with nuclear weapons than in Soviet days.
The funniest thing, The US is now trying to pass off ISIS as Saddam’s org. How convenient to pass it all off to your arch nemesis who was vilified for decades and wash your hands off the entire thing. Ofcourse a lot of members are former Iraqi army officers. But that don’t mean the head of the hydra is not the CIA itself. Plausible deniability should mean the decisions are not made in the U.S.A.. Not that who ever carries it out is expendable and unconnected. If that was the case we can just hire anyone on craigs list and wash our hands off anything that decision carries. We did not do it judge!
“All the decision makers are Iraqi, and most of them are former Iraqi officers. The Iraqi officers are in command, and they make the tactics and the battle plans,” he said. “But the Iraqis themselves don’t fight. They put the foreign fighters on the front lines.”
The raw cruelty of Hussein’s Baathist regime, the disbandment of the Iraqi army after the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, the subsequent insurgency and the marginalization of Sunni Iraqis by the Shiite-dominated government all are intertwined with the Islamic State’s ascent, said Hassan Hassan, a Dubai-based analyst and co-author of the book “ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror.”
“A lot of people think of the Islamic State as a terrorist group, and it’s not useful,” Hassan said. “It is a terrorist group, but it is more than that. It is a homegrown Iraqi insurgency, and it is organic to Iraq.”
http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle_east/the-hidden-hand-behind-the-islamic-state-militants-saddam-husseins/2015/04/04/aa97676c-cc32-11e4-8730-4f473416e759_story.html
Plausible deniability. Sometimes it works for the masses.
Everything the USA did in Iraq, from invading, destroying the Baath Party and Iraqi Army, setting Sunni, Shia and Kurds at each others throats etc, was in accordance with the Oded Yinon Zionist Plan to destroy Iraq, break it into three, and send it back to the Dark Ages. ISIS, Daash is just another facet of the same plan, with the next target Syria, to be broken into four etc. The Zionazis are in charge, and US ‘objectives’ to control the region’s hydro-carbons are real enough, but they are secondary to the ‘Eternal Peoples’ hatred of their neighbours.

“A Jordanian-based CIA training program for pro-Western Syrian rebels is set to expand in the coming months.”
That’s one hell of a sentence, isn’t it?
Anyone any idea as to how to show one’s ‘pro-westerner-ness?’
“Anyone any idea as to how to show one’s ‘pro-westerner-ness?”
I guess that’s referring to bygone times. Cold war days the “east” had mass surveillance, secret police, propaganda ect ect.
Now the “west” has perfected mass surveillance of the population, secret police, propaganda.. ..err.. media warfare, ect.
That’s easy; one merely demonstrates undying devotion to the US$ and The Hegemon, they being essentially one and the same.
Funding of CIA fronts like NED, bribes in high places, seductive promises of power and money to opposition parties -the more brutal and radical the better- all lubricate this strategy. Divide and conquer works every time.
Undying devotion is typically publicised for Western consumption as support for ‘freedom and democracy’ but is in reality destabilising regime change that results in riots, civil insurrection, civil war and general death and destruction of the country.
Once infrastructure is destroyed, the country ruined and the banking system brought to heel then the country is under the resource control of the USA and is properly brought into IMF debt slavery. The Korporate looters will have already made off with everything at fire-sale prices and the skeleton that is left is propped up with this IMF debt funding that turns the country into a permanent debtor’s jail.
Guided by expediency, those traitors that precipitated the overthrow of their country may continue to be rewarded or they may get thrown under the bus once they have outlived their usefulness or become a nuisance.
If it behaves itself the country may eventually be granted debtor vassal status but strictly under The Hegemon’s heel.
Although we can’t know what the writer was thinking, it’s probably safe to assume he was making the distinction between the “good” rebels – i.e., the “moderate” opposition created and trained by the U.S. with the goal of replacing al-Assad with a U.S.-friendly regime – and the “bad” rebels, the ones who defected to Nusra and al-Qaeda and took their U.S. weapons with them. Without the “pro-Western” qualifier, a reader might get the impression that the CIA was deliberately training al-Qaeda. ;-)

In what can only be seen as another “symbol of sanctions defiance”, on March 27 China announced it would be providing French oil giant Total with $15 billion to invest into the Yamal LNG project in northern Siberia. Despite some of the harshest Western sanctions placed upon Yamal’s majority stakeholder, private Russian gas company Novatek, the project has hardly been derailed. What’s more, Yamal offers a glimpse into a world where Russia is no longer dependent on the West for financing.
The $27 billion investment project in the Yamal Peninsula, owned by Novatek (60%), Total (20%) and China’s CNPC (20%), aims to tap into northwest Siberia’s vast natural gas reserves, which contain 84% of Russia’s total natural gas, and double Russia’s share in the fast growing liquefied natural gas market.

DONBASS FUNCTION IN LONDON
I attended the Donbass function arranged by Graham Phillips and these were my impressions:
1. The difficulty of arranging a charity event like this in London is little short of astonishing. I have lost count of the number of venues where it was to be held and which then refused to hold it. So much so in fact that I was unaware of the latest re-scheduling and went initially to the wrong venue. The result was that though I had intended to be early I turned up late.
2. The venue that did eventually agree to stage the event was a small cafe/restaurant in Finsbury Park. It was far too small for the event. However its owners/managers deserve earnest thanks and congratulations for their courage in standing up to the bullies and in agreeing to host the event.
3. In the event there was no serious disruption of the event. One Ukrainian did attend and heckled Graham. To be precise he pretended to “ask a question about Givi”. This game where people pretend to be do one thing when they are really doing another always infuriates me. He was NOT “asking a question about Givi” and he did not come to the meeting with that purpose. He came to disrupt the meeting and his “question” (peppered with shouts that “Givi is a murderer”) was not a question at all but was straightforward heckling and harassment. The sequel is that he was ejected from the premises and called the police who however in the finest tradition of the British police stood stolidly outside in the street and took no action. As for the Ukrainian, he remained outside the venue filming it with a camera. The Daily Beast gave a characteristically lurid write-up of this minor incident.

Well, Saker,
Russia is partly guilty for this kind of stuff. Russia is too passive and is doing not much to help south-east Ukraine to rise against the Nazis. We all know that from Odessa to Kharkov people were traditionally voting for pro-Russian parties. Invasion is the only solution. Liberation of all of south-est Ukraine is the only solution.
Chech President has stated that it is not the role of the US Ambassador to Chech Republic to order the Chech President to not attend May 9 ceremony in Moscow.
Further, he has closed his doors to US Ambassador Shapiro.
US Ambassador ‘Shapiro’? Were all the Goldbergs and Cohens otherwise engaged? Shapiro was an Obama colleague in college and a ‘bundler’, which I assume means a money-raiser. He succeeded Norman Eisen, another ‘Chosen One’ who also was at college with Obama, and worked for the stand-over thugs of the ADL investigating the ominpresent horror of ‘antisemitism’. Funny old, kosher, world, isn’t it?
Oh, the US is very good at having authoritarian regimes with lousy economies stay in power through brutality for decades. Latin America and Africa come to mind. So Russia will either have to help the people rebel or live with a nasty and hostile regime for many years or even decades. It is the price to be paid for incompetence over the last 23 years as well as outsourcing foreign affairs to oligarchs.
It is painful to admit, but the US has had a reasonably coherent policy in the Ukraine over the last 15 years, whereas Russia has not. It wanted good relations with the EU, but wouldn’t pay the price of giving up Eastern Europe and control of pipelines. It wanted tolerable relations with the US, but went to war over Syria. So Russia wanted the Ukraine to be like Switzerland, and a bridge between East and West. But wouldn’t fight for its interests inside the country.
Czech President Milos Zeman has said the US ambassador is not welcome at his Prague Castle residence, reports say.
The apparent snub follows remarks by US envoy Andrew Schapiro seen as critical of the president’s decision to attend forthcoming World War Two commemorations in Moscow.
Several world leaders are boycotting the ceremony over Russia’s role in the Ukraine conflict.
Mr Zeman is considered more sympathetic to Russia on the issue.
Ambassador Schapiro had “overstepped the mark” by criticising the decision to attend celebrations in May marking the anniversary of the end of WW2, news portal Parlamentni Listy quotes Mr Zeman as saying.
Because of this “the doors of the castle were closed” to Mr Schapiro, Mr Zeman continues.
http://www.diplomaticobserver.com/EN,11626/something-wrong-with-ukraine-eu-czech-leader-condemns-n-.html
Zeman can now expect to be slandered as an ‘antisemite’ for daring to disobey orders from his ‘Chosen’ overseer.
What if Peacekeepers come to Donbass soon?
Putin may want the ceasefire to be held, no more adjustment of borders of the Novorossiya at this time, and Minsk 2 forced down Kiev’s throat.
This would lead to some sanctions being lifted. Russia benefits domestically in its economy. The drain caused by the refugees and the war effort would be eased appreciably.
Ukraine would never be able to push aside the UN peacekeepers.
The EU and IMF would have to start pumping big money into Ukraine for little reward.
Federalization would begin as realistic approach to rebuilding Ukraine.
The internal turmoil caused by a peace regime would force major fissures in the Kiev alliances with nazis and oligarchs.
Eventually, the reality that Ukraine will never go EU or NATO will sink in.
Crimea will have its sanctions lifted. Crimean development would add GDP growth to Russia instead of subtracting it as it does now.
Death and destruction (except that caused by land mines) will cease.
Germany and France will benefit immediately.
Everyone wins except Kiev and the US/NATO.
I see Blue Helmets in Novorossiya sooner than most think is possible.
It will be an extraordinary defeat for the Hegemon.
It is the only solution that prevent the collapse of Kiev.
On this Easter Sunday/Palm Sunday for Orthodox, I had these positive thoughts above.
Resurrection . . . He is Risen!
Enjoy the splendor of the universe and the scent of spring flowers, the soft touch of a child’s hand, and the love in the eyes of another.
Minsk and UN peacekeepers are different. The peacekeepers just mean freezing things for a long time. US control of Kiev might get stronger, as a logical US strategy would be to consolidate things and replace many of the oligarchs with corporations and create a fake two-party system to fool the rubes. Only spend money on Western and Central Ukraine, and make sure to destroy all Ukrainian industry, which was a key EU goal in the first place.
The US can get rid of both the oligarchs and the Nazis. Those are just small instruments of the Western financial oligarchy, same as, say, al-CIAduh lunatics or idiots like Saakashvili.
New US strategy. Must read: http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2015/04/americas-new-strategy-in-ukraine.html
excerpt: There may be options, but there is one goal: to bring to power a “government of national reconciliation”, which will be almost completely controlled by the West.
Under the present composition of Verkhovnaya Rada such operation is not possible. Therefore a crisis is necessary, which will result in a resignation of the government and a dissolution of the parliament. Whether the basis of the crisis will be the economy or a new military defeat on the front, I don’t know. Possibly, both at the same time. In the end, early parliamentary elections will bring to power the “sane” forces, who will agree to everything that is stated in the Minsk
I read this forecast also and had a moment’s anxiety. But I wonder how well the west could really control such a government, given Russia’s interest in “owning” it even more securely. And I merge the story with Larchmonter’s comment right above yours about the UN peacekeepers. He mentioned this elsewhere, and I see it as a distinct possibility. Assuming that the true victory is already drafted by the Russian legal team in the the provisions of Minsk 2, then any regime that leans towards implementing them is leaning in the right direction.
In other words, ultimately, in this play of asymmetrical warfare, the triumph of Russia will be to force the UN to act in the way it is supposed to act. And thus to bring the US to heel, in such ways as we’ve already seen happen with, for example, the US’s grudging “endorsement” of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), made I think from a true fear of becoming a global outcast.
The US won’t be a global outcast if the Donbass gets to use Russian textbooks and the entire system in the rest of the country is controlled by the West. In fact, Germany would be happy. The whole coup and war might be seen as a success, though the loss of Crimea would hurt.
The Kremlin has to have a strategy of regime change in Kiev. One can assume they do, but not having any open political goals is questionable. What are you fighting for? If the Ukraine turns into a run-of-the-mill authoritarian, somewhat anti-Russian regime, but the Donbass has a lot of autonomy, then what? The Kremlin wanted to turn the Ukraine into Switzerland for the last 15 years, but now maybe only the Donbass and Kharkov will be like Switzerland and the rest of the country can be like a super Poland or Croatia.
We are still back to the situation before. The US was willing to trade Kiev for something useful, like Syria. Why should the US give up what it owns for nothing?
The USA only ‘gives up’ anything as a tactical device. The essence of US Exceptionalism is its right, God-given, to determine the politics, economic and social arrangements of every single country on Earth. It is the ultimate totalitarian state that refuses to accommodate to the different cultures or histories of any country. All they accept is submission.
