And yes, there is RuTube.ru – but it uses rtp streaming, so you cannot download the videos (mp4, flv, etc.)…
(BTW, the videos at RuTube all start with nauseating American video-adverts (which you cannot stop) – even when you are watching Russian patriotic movies… Who actually owns RuTube anyway? Americans? Jewish oligarchs of Russia? Atlantic Integrationists?…)

The first thing to remember is the Moscow Times is an anti-Russian 5th column site.Anything coming from them is automatically suspect.They will spin any news into a anti-Russian context.There is no “trouble” with Kadyrov.This is one of the multitude of attempts to divide Kadyrov from Russia.

There is other interesting news on their Facebook for those who can access it. You are supposed to use your real name to join but… if you are privacy conscious …how do they know a real name you give is actually yours?

We don’t know. Fewer people know of it or have access to it. I am sure they’ll be looking for another outlet now.
If the videos can’t be downloaded that’s a distinct disadvantage for me, both for viewing and archiving.

Putin is always ‘lying’ — he says that the US and EU are not ‘enemies’ and the greatest enemy of Russia are things like ISIS. But he knows, and the Russians know, and everyone else knows, and he is being ‘diplomatic’. Now and then he lets it slip, or Lavrov does, and maybe Ischenko is right that Putin tries to maintain the appearance of peace with some advantage for Russia:

I don’t know. This blocking of videos, calling fair use ‘copyright infringement’ (but try to get that resolved fairly through the briar patch) is one quite small example of attack by the empire. So who is being fooled except for sheep and the slumbering?
