Many signs the Polish people oppose their crooked govt.

Zbig says: Poland must arm and depend only on itself!

Polish gov: compulsory mobilization all men 19-60. (Since Ukrainians won’t fight they want to send the Poles)

Founder, European Centre for Geopolitical Analysis Mateusz Piskorski: We will organize a mass exodus of friendship trains to Moscow. Poles will be able to go and ask Russians, if Russia will invade us or not – this is obviously a joke. . . comments under any article on the internet . . . have about 60 – 70 percent that say clearly that people are tired of the Polish government’s propaganda line, that they are enough of scaring us about the third world war.

When I was in Donetsk, I saw that Ukrainian conscripts, on any occasion, tried to surrender. They want to be prisoners of the Donetsk side.

So am I reading that article right (‘between the lies’) that the Polish government is sending all the Poles to military training so they will be ready when the people rise up in revolution against the fascist Polish government?
I think the Ukrainian junta should give better training to the Ukrainians for when they rise up and kick the fascists out of Kiev.

We keep hearing about this “third party” force that provokes both sides. It seems that perhaps from the middle of last year these slight rumors started appearing. Yet I have failed for this whole conflict to find anyone to explain what this force or faction is. It would be tempting to compare its purpose with that of the snipers at Maidan.

Let me say that I can accept completely that it exists, but I just am not clear what it comprises. Can anyone enlighten please?

Assuming it not just a hogwash attempt to deflect the Ukie barrage blame to a phantom, then one must assume and with historical precedence that it is CIA managed. They have offices in Kiev so they must be up to no good.

Surely if treacherous Harper of Canada is able to assist with satellite coverage, then Russia’s vastly superior intelligence will be able to see what’s going on?

Funny how there is always plenty of money for war, isn’t it. Is Kiev getting everything on credit?

that’s scary about those soldiers selling high level military equipment on ebay….shouldn’t be legal to do that…ebay shouldn’t be able to allow that….now those weapons are in the public…psychopaths own them maybe.

today EU commission has a go at Gazprom for not allowing fair competition for gas supplies to Europe, even though it supplies just 35%…….
“(Reuters) – The European Union will launch a legal attack on Russian gas giant Gazprom (GAZP.MM) this week, ramping up tensions with Moscow, when antitrust agents will accuse it of overcharging buyers in eastern Europe, EU sources told Reuters on Monday.

The state-controlled company, a vital supplier of energy to Europe despite frequent political disputes, could receive a full charge sheet from European Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager on Wednesday, one source said.

More than two years after Brussels started investigating Gazprom, the move comes just a week after the new EU antitrust chief charged U.S. tech giant Google (GOOGL.O) with abusing its market power after five years of hesitation by her predecessor.”

(Reuters) – Russia’s top gas producer Gazprom warned the European Union on Monday 13 April against moves to block Moscow’s plans to bypass Ukraine as a transit country for its gas to Europe and said it needed guarantees on gas purchases.

Russia is pushing ahead with plans to build a pipeline to Turkey and further on to Greece via the Black Sea, in line with its plans to stop exporting gas via Ukraine by 2019.

Moscow had to drop its $40 billion South Stream pipeline via Bulgaria to Europe last year, saying it was blocked by EU regulations, choosing the Turkish Stream project instead.

“If someone thinks about blocking Turkish Stream … it is a very serious mistake,” Gazprom head Alexei Miller told a conference in Berlin, adding volumes could go to other markets and construction of the pipeline could be paused if necessary.”

And USA Freedom Ukraine support bill says USA can take direct action even if it “thinks’ that gas is being undersupplied with relation to contracts….honestly, how much more proof is needed EU is screwed up over Rus, cos certainly sanctions are 2 types, 1 for Crimea illegal occupation, the other for Minsk-Donbass, so there is probably no chance of either 1 or any being lifted , cos they ate interdependant……….so would be interesting to know how and what and who will make the decisions in July.by vote, consensus or directive, and will any provocations-false flags be taking place to ensure sanctions do stay? VP stated he believed they’d be around some years . Note in direct Line he stated Rus kindness is not just taken advantage of by friends, but also by ‘others’.

The EU is a joke. All contracts were signed with Gazprom prior to 3rd party package. The EU conveniently forgets the illegal reverse flows to Ukraine – which all these countries made money from…..which were in breach of their contracts…

It is pathetic first Yukos now this – I don’t think they will see a penny…..and all the prices will go up when they start buying LNG…..

Troops from the United States and the American vassal, Ukraine, kicked off joint training exercises Monday.

Speaking under driving rain at a military base in the western region of Lviv, pro-American President Petro Poroshenko said the country’s armed forces needed to be rebuilt from scratch to deter foreign threats, AP reported.

The exercises, dubbed “Fearless Guardian-2015,” sparked an enraged reaction from Russia, which described them as a potential cause of destabilization.

‘rebuilt from scratch’ – that’s another reason why there is a war: all those Soviet era military kit gets destroyed…and replaced with NATO – i.e. mostly American – kit, costing $BILLIONS.

Karl Marx summed it up fairly well: “It is an old and historically established maxim that obsolete social forces, nominally still in possession of all the attributes of power and continuing to vegetate even though the basis of their existence has rotted away, inasmuch as the heirs are quarrelling among themselves over the inheritance even before the obituary notice has been printed and the testament read; that these same forces once more summon all their strength before their agony of death, pass from the defensive to the offensive, challenge instead of giving way, and seek to draw the most extreme conclusions from premises that have not only been put in question but already condemned.”

Understanding that explains a lot of the otherwise seemingly irrational behaviour of US Imperialism.

Interesting – from Marx’s editorial, published in Neue Oder-Zeitung, June 28 1855, but written after a London demonstration which he writes of as “Anti-Church Movement Demonstration in Hyde Park.”.

These words were aimed at the English oligarchy, and yet apply equally well to other forms of political power – both US Imperialism and the current ruling Russian oligarchy.

Most of the European monarchies have been destroyed or rendered irrelevant yet the Brit’s still hail their royal frump.
I’ve never thought of myself as a supporter of monarchies but I do believe in the concept of a strong leader. This ‘democracy’ nonsense is nothing more than national resources going to the highest bidder, using OPM (other people’s money).
If Orwell was around he’d most likely not be so optimistic.

Which democracy – Capitalist? Marxist? other?

Here’s what Engles wrote about Marxist democracy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_in_Marxism

“In reality, however, the state is nothing but a machine for the oppression of one class by another, and indeed in the democratic republic no less than in the monarchy; and at best an evil inherited by the proletariat after its victorious struggle for class supremacy, whose worst sides the victorious proletariat, just like the [Paris] Commune, cannot avoid having to lop off at once as much as possible until such time as a generation reared in new, free social conditions is able to throw the entire lumber of the state on the scrap heap.”

My guess is that you’re right about Orwell.

That’s the point of anarchy — ‘anarchy’ meaning ‘no chiefs’. Real democracy is rule of a country by the people in it, not by a monarch, tyrant, corporations, or oligarchy. Demos is the people.

Tyranny of the masses is a danger, of course, but by history hardly worse than tyranny of tyrants, and that’s why people need both good information and education so they know how to interpret and understand it, and resist the brainwashing, propaganda, and pseudo-populist jingoism with critical thinking and sound knowledge of political science and economics. Temporary functional hierarchy and managers (‘leaders’) have to be installed by and accountable to the people, and that doesn’t mean only elections (honest or not) every few years, and beholding just to the wealthy class or the bourgeoisie.

            In further context http://www.thenorthstar.info/?p=8263

“Marx and Engels wrote little about the communist goal. They focused on the workers’ seizure of power and they expected the historical process to take care of socialism, once the workers were in power. But by scouring their work, it is possible to find a program. They expected the workers’ revolution to replace the capitalist state with a much more democratic state, but still a state. This would nationalize most of the industrial economy and develop a centralized economic plan. While they regarded nationalization by a capitalist state as state capitalism (because that state was an agency of capital accumulation and exploitation), this new institution would be a “workers’ state.” They expected this state to lose its coercive traits, as more people participated in its activities and as the former bourgeoisie die off or are assimilated. It would become a noncoercive “public authority” for coordinating the economy. (Again, this is not so much a program as a prediction of what would happen once the workers seized power.)

Anarchists have always thought that this approach, which they called “state socialism,” would in practice actually create “state capitalism.” Instead they advocated worker and community managed industries to federate from the bottom-up.

A problem with Marx’s approach appeared when history produced mass-murdering state capitalist regimes which called themselves “socialist” or “communist.” They were the product of the historical process. They had nationalized property (although the capital-labor relationship remained). Therefore most revolutionary socialists regarded them as “really existing socialism,” despite their shortcomings. Marxism had no moral standard by which to judge them.”

This last paragraph succinctly describes the outcome of the 7 year experiment (1917-24) in Russia/USSR http://makealeftturn.blogspot.co.uk/p/how-marxist-were-bolsheviks.html

“From 1924, however, and the rise of Stalin to the leadership of the party, theories such as ‘socialism in one country’ were fundamental breaks from the Marxist heritage of the party. A new ‘class’ of bureaucrats developed that acted like a capitalist class and exploited the working class once more. In 1928 the first ‘Five Year Plan’ indicated that the new emphasis was on capital accumulation. The so-called ‘Old Bolsheviks’ were discredited, arrested and/or executed. Workers’ rights were withdrawn and workers resumed their subordinate role. The state was strengthened as the leaders sought economic and military power. In short, there had been an internal counter-revolution that had given up the ideas of Marx and returned to capitalism, albeit in a new form.”

In summary, the Marxist experiment ended in Capitalism.

There are communities of people who are effectively unknown to the public, which not only determine the American presidents but also determine the rules of the whole “big game”. In particular, these are the transnational financial corporations. But not only them. — Leonid Petrovich Reshetnikov, former SVR general, now leading the RISR analytical center in Moscow

The frantic spell of Western media behaviour could be a case-study in how it is centrally manipulated with a political agenda and thought-control. Editors at major Western media corporations are evidently following a political line cast by Washington and its European allies.

The multi-billion-dollar Western news media networks are replete with an unquestioning, unwavering anti-Russian agenda. This agenda is recklessly inflaming international tensions to the point of inciting further conflict and even an all-out global war.

The roll of dishonour includes “stellar” corporate names, from CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, Financial Times, Guardian, France 24, Deutsche Welle, and many more. It is a veritable troll army marching in lockstep with their governments’ agenda of disinformation.
