It is about time they stopped allowing us military transit to Afghanistan through Russia. They only want to create a base there to attack Russia in the future anyway.

Good timing to cut off the strategic pass to the Americans; just in time for the Afghani spring offensive. Assuming this will create an impending shortage of everything for US regime troops and their collaborators, this could be the their final year in Afghanistan, where the US leaves or dies there.
What goes around, comes around. There is an elegant symmetry to the situation: first the Russians went in, and the Americans made sure it caused them as much pain as possible. Then the Americans went in, trusting the Russians to hold their rope… Oh oops, too bad.
To be fair, the Russians were invited by the elected Afghan government, while the Americans came as plain occupiers/attackers. There is a little difference there.
US troops are needed in Afghanistan to insure the continued flow of heroin coming out of the country, which provides a trillion dollar a year income for banksters, security agencies, and pay offs required to control political leaders.
Note that immediately prior to the US invasion of Afghanistan, the Taliban had essentially ended heroin production there. Now hundreds of thousands of hectares are devoted to opium cultivation, 70% of US street heroin comes from Afghanistan. So much for the war on drugs . . . the drugs fund the endless wars.
From what I’ve read opium is being shipped out. I’d like to know where it’s being processed into heroin. I’m reasonably sure that much of it ends up in Russia, Ukraine and other states in that region.

This may seem unconnected but it is not. Internet links to Russia seem to have been cut off. Trying to make an e-contract with Babbel language to learn Russian one is not able to finish the contract form as it is disabled, also joining SOTT.net is not possible as it entrance form is partially disabled too.
Many more could be regularly affected as the US still has internet control. Maybe Russia can take that over too?

The United States is considering permanently stationing a THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defence) missile defence unit in South Korea.
