It is so fine to be able to see the ending up, cleaning out of the war. Soon the rebuilding will begin, the the families will return.
The liberation of Aleppo is ongoing at a steadily increasing pace. Obviously at the moment SAA and their allies are on a roll and in essence probing, pushing back and/or eliminating Brand X.
There is consistent background noise of not insignificant numbers of ‘nato’ operatives still active in the shrinking cauldron. If that is so, and it is patently true that Chechnyan soldiers are in Aleppo for more than a few days, then there might be some unhappy days for those operatives who are taken alive. With EU, UN, US, ICRC, OSCE and the bad guys screaming for a five day cease fire ‘to save the women and children’ this gives some credence to the background noise. This time, however, I doubt a stand down and corridor will be provided for the golden pheasants. In each of the last ceasefires no civilians were allowed to leave terrorist controlled areas and the only result of the ceasefire was more men and ammo sent in to the terrorists.
Of special interest will be the prospective capture of whoever the operative was that directed the extremely accurate mortar fire on our field hospital. No terrorist has the skills to direct such accurate from the first round fire. I would aver that there are more than a few interested parties in regards to that possibility.

This is not a ceasefire, it is apparently a deal to allow quite some thousands of civilians to get out of the soon to be fought over areas still in al-Nusra hands. If this is like the last, and very much smaller, evacuation then everyone coming out is screened. Last time more than a few ‘women’ seemed to be freshly shaved and as such didn’t make it to the settlement camps for food, water and medical treatment. Lurch is doing his almighty best to preserve and protect al-Nusra. Apparently Mr. Lavrov is having none of that this time. We will see more on this on the morrow.

My thoughts exactly, that the US/NATO/Israeli “advisers” killed in the Aleppo “moderate opposition command centre” by Russia in response to the US bombing of Deir al-Zor were not the only ones present. Hopefully this time Russia/Syria will not allow the “advisers” to escape as happened in the Debaltsevo Caldron. Russia needs to have US and Israeli etc. black-ops personnel to VERY publicly hand over to the UN/ICC as proof of direct support of terrorists in Syria (and elsewhere). Not that the UN/ICC would actually do anything, but the US would no longer be able to pretend it is not the driving force behind most of the “terrorist” chaos worldwide.

From what I understand, the normal unguided mortars take several rounds in order to home in on the target, with adjustments after each shot. If the field hospital was hit from the first round that means it was precision guided mortars which were used. Those munitions don’t come cheap, only Western operatives would have access to them, so it is very likely that it was US, British or French operatives who fired on the Russian field hospital.
Its interesting how the US and its gang of allies and NGOs and occasionally joined by Ban ki Moon of the UN are obsessed with the health and safety of “civilians” in Aleppo.
Yet these same bleeding hearts cannot spare a thought for the “civilians” in Mosul and Yemen.
Just yesterday they polished off at least 60 women and children on the border between Iraq and Syria, but I haven’t heard a word from brother Ban Ki Moon on that one.
I just hope this time around Russia does not sign up to any cease fire agreement with the US, because all pass cease fires have been used to resupply the terrorists and spirit away intelligence assets.

Add to this how quickly the same countries screaming in the UN Security Council for yet another ceasefire and humanitarian aid for the suffering people of Jihadi held Aleppo – quickly lose interest in the many thousands of the same civilians once they have been liberated. Apparently the many video scenes of genuine joy and gratitude shown towards the SAA, and stories of suffering at the the hands of the rebels/Jihadis, do not fit the Western MSM narrative. The hypocrisy and cynicism is breathtaking.
Meanwhile, the US coalition attempt to take Mosul is turning into a bloodbath – for the coalition.
For some reason, it was decided drive a massive column of coaliton forces deep into the center of Mosul. They were met by multiple pre-prepared VBIEDs and ground troops position to mop up the survivors. The coalition lost 15-20 APCs and 90-250 fataliities. The surviving coalition forces called in airstrikes, only to lose more men to ‘friendly fire’
The coaltion losses from 29 Nov to 5 Dec include 580 troops killed. 9 tanks destroyed and 103 APCs lost.

I have read a theory elsewhere, that the Anglo-Zionist ‘coalition’ is destroying what little Iraqi Army they have allowed to exist. The events of the last few days with massive ‘friendly fire deaths’ among the advance forces of the Iraqi Army were covered by South Front I believe.
Yes, I read that the Plan C or D of the coalition is to do away with the Iraqi military and instead permanently occupy the areas of Syria and Iraq (oil areas, naturally), previously designated for an ISIS caliphate, with US boots.
